Abstract
The claimed method involves fractionation of IgGs by precipitation of Albumin and other low molecular weight proteins by mixing 3.5% Cparylic Acid with the plasma of hyper immunized horses. The selective microfiltration with 0.22 μm and higher pore filtration with PES sheets makes the end product more refined by removing the unrequited higher molecular weight proteins even the mega molecule IgE and IgM antibodies. On the other hand the ultra filtration with 100 KDa and lesser pore size enables exclusion of unwanted low molecule proteins like fibrinogen and others. The natural Virucidal quality of Caprylic Acid automatically decontaminates the end product without involving any additional or special procedure thus making the product safer by eliminating any transmittable zonotic virus / es present in the blood of immunized horses in to the body of patient treated with ASV. It is therefore natural properties of Caprylic Acid for precipitating Albumin and other low molecular weight proteins while retaining behind the required Immunoglobulin G antibodies are used as core technology together with some other simple allied techniques of direct and tangential filtration, PH maintenance at various stages for preserving the affinity efficacy of the antibodies and adding preservatives for longer shelf life makes this Novel method / formulation an appropriate technology for low or middle income countries (LMIC).
