Heating section of the thermoforming oven

Abstract

The heating section of a thermoforming oven is used for thermally forming products, particularly those made of thermoformable film. This solution aims to shorten the travel distance of the heating panels, thus reducing heating time. The heating section of the thermoforming oven is designed as a drawer, which has a rectangular support frame with a running unit (2) and a drive unit (3) for the section travel. The support frame, through a longitudinal beam (5), located perpendicular to the section travel direction, has a separate frame for the heating field. Inside the heating field frame is a driving shaft (7) with a servo mechanism (8) and a driving shaft. The driving shaft (7) is connected to the driving shaft on both sides by drive belts (13, 13') via gears (14). Heating panels with radiators located on the bottom of the section are attached to the belts (13, 13'). A screen (18) is mounted between the heating panels and the active shaft (7) and the passive shaft, which serves as a thermal shield.
