Box

Abstract

The subject of the application is a box having the shape of a cuboid and comprising a body (1), a cover (2) and a locking element (3). The body (1) comprises a rectangular bottom and a front wall extending therefrom, a rear wall opposite thereto and two side walls (14) positioned between the front wall and the rear wall. The cover (2) has a rectangular top panel (21) and a front wall (22) extending perpendicularly from the edge of the top panel (21). The top panel (21) of the cover (2) is connected to the rear wall of the body (1) by a line of weakness, so that the cover (2) is pivotably movable relative to the body (1) from a closed position to an open position. A first locking slot extending parallel to the plane of the bottom is formed in the front wall of the body (1) at the edge connecting the front wall and the bottom.In the front wall (22) of the cover (2), at the edge connecting the front wall (22) and the top panel (21), a second locking slot (25) is formed, extending parallel to the plane of the top panel (21). The locking element (3) comprises a rectangular central panel (31), from opposite sides of which locking panels (32) extend symmetrically and are connected to the central panel (31) by lines of weakness. Each locking panel (32) is divided by a line of weakness into a first portion (33) extending from the central panel (31) perpendicular to the plane of the central panel (31), and a second portion (34) extending from the first portion (33) and being folded along said line of weakness towards the central panel (31).The center panel (31) comprises a tear-off portion (36) in the form of a strip extending the entire length of the center panel (31), parallel to the edges of the center panel (31) to which the locking panels (32) are connected and dividing the center panel (31) into two parts.
