Flow biomethane reactor

Abstract

The subject of the application, shown in the drawing, is a flow-through biogas reactor consisting of at least two pipes arranged one above the other and inclined from the horizontal by an angle α, connected by a connector to a biogas outlet and a collector with a valve for removing heavy fractions of the fermenting mixture. The reactor is equipped with fittings in the form of a valve, pumps, and a static mixer enabling effective mixing of the substrate with the digestate. The reactor pipes are equipped with Archimedean ribbons mounted on rotating shafts to transport heavy fractions of the fermenting mixture along the reactor pipes and, consequently, to discharge them to the outside through a valve.
