System for electrostimulation of cells in vitro

Abstract

The subject of the application relates to a system for in vitro electrostimulation, comprising: - a number of independent, separate culture wells (1), wherein each separate culture well (1) is shaped as an independent container in the shape of a geometric solid, having side walls and a bottom constituting the base of the well; - a printed circuit board (PCB) (3), on which pairs of electrodes of opposite signs are attached, supplying an electric charge and connected to a power supply unit, wherein the printed circuit board (PCB) is provided with appropriately arranged holes for observing the culture in the culture wells and a housing (4) for housing the culture wells (1) and the printed circuit board (PCB) (3), characterized in that the independent, separate culture wells (1) are made of a flexible, biocompatible plastic,resistant to the temperature of autoclave sterilization and have a well base shaped as a flange element and made of translucent plastic, which together with the side walls limits the well chamber with electrodes of opposite signs made of flexible material placed in the well base, wherein the individual culture wells (1) are arranged on the PCB (3) in correlation with the observation holes, and the system can also be equipped with a microcomputer with a power supply unit.,
