Flow reactor and sewage treatment method

Abstract

A flow reactor consisting of a tank (1) equipped with a cathode chamber (2) and an anode chamber (3), characterized in that inside the cathode chamber (2), opposite the discharge electrode (4), there is a sonotrode (5), wherein in the upper surface of the tank (1), above the cathode chamber (2), there is at least one first opening (6) through which wastewater is introduced and at least one second opening (7) through which gases produced in the cathode chamber (2), in particular hydrogen, are discharged, and at least one third opening (8), located on the upper surface of the tank (1) beyond its surface located above the cathode chamber (2), through which gases produced outside the cathode chamber (2) are discharged, wherein around the cathode chamber (2), between the walls of the cathode chamber and the anode chamber (3), there is at least one partition (9), and in the lower part of the tank (1) there is at least one fourth opening (10) through which wastewater is discharged treated sewage.The subject of the application is also a method of treating wastewater using this reactor.
