Automatic tool changer for a small printed circuit board engraver

Abstract

The aim of the present invention is to provide an automatic tool-changing method for a small, CNC machine without intermediate parts, while ensuring a small footprint and the use of a single power source, namely electricity. This objective is achieved by an automatic electric tool changer comprising at least the following components: a self-tightening precision chuck, a tool magazine, and an electric device for tightening and loosening the chuck. The components of the invention do not require a large amount of space and can be easily mounted on existing components of the CNC engraving machine.
