FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a tarpaulin shroud and, more particularly, to a tarpaulin shroud for engulfing a hammock.BACKGROUND
[0002] In general, it takes time to properly break down a tarpaulin or hammock. When rushing, a tarpaulin can rip and tear when not taking the proper amount of time. Therefore, added time is needed when properly storing the tarpaulin in an outdoors bag or compartment to avoid ripping and tearing the tarpaulin. There is a need for an invention that allows the user to properly store the tarpaulin without the extra time required.
[0003] As the foregoing illustrates, the invention provides the tarpaulin shroud to permit ease of constructing and deconstructing the tarpaulin without the extra time required to properly store the tarpaulin.SUMMARY
[0004] A tarpaulin shroud includes a first cover. The tarpaulin shroud further includes a second cover loosely coupled to the first cover. The tarpaulin shroud further includes a container fixed to the first cover. The container having an interior. [0016] The present disclosure includes a tarpaulin shroud 1 according to the invention. In the exemplary embodiment, the tarpaulin shroud 1 generally includes a cover assembly 2 and a body assembly 4.
[0017] As shown in FIG. 1, the cover assembly 2 includes a first cover 10 and a second cover 30.
[0018] The first cover 10 includes a first wall 12, a pull handle 16, a second wall 18 and a pair of buckle straps 20 which forms the first cover 10.
[0019] As shown in FIG. 1, the first wall 12 is an ovular shape and includes a planar surface. One skilled in the art would understand the first wall 12 may include a different design shape for the first wall 12. The first wall 12 further includes an edging 14. The edging 14 extends along the perimeter of the first wall 12.
[0020] As shown in FIG. 1, the pull handle 16 is a strap or a loop permitting a user's finger or fastening structure to extend through. The pull handle 16 is stationary and positioned in a central portion of the first wall 12. One skilled in the art would understand the pull handle can include a different design so long as a user is able to occupy the pull handle 16 with a finger or fastener.
[0021] As shown in FIG. 4, the second wall 18 includes a planar surface and is an arch shaped member. The second wall 18 further extends along the perimeter of the first wall 12. One skilled in the art would understand the applicant's design of the second wall may include a different design.
[0022] As shown in FIGS. 1-4, the buckle straps 20 are standard buckle straps. One skilled in the art would understand the inner workings of buckle straps. Each buckle strap of the pair of buckle straps 20 further extends from an opposing side of the second wall 18, where the first wall 12 is positioned between them.
[0023] The second cover 30 includes a first wall 32, a second wall 36 and the pair of buckle straps 20 of the first cover 10 as shown in FIGS. 3-4.

An opposing second end 24 of each buckle strap of the pair of buckle straps 20 is secured to opposing sides of the second wall 36. The buckle straps 20 loosely couple the first cover 10 to the second cover 30.
[0041] The first cover 10 is arranged against container 50 opposite the opening 58 and stitched allowing the first cover 10 to be stationary while the second cover 30 is fluid.
[0042] The container pull string 60 is intertwined to the opening 58 of the container 50. The mesh netting 62 is positioned in the interior 56 of container 50. The mesh netting 62 is coupled to the inner wall 54 of the container 50 closest to the first wall 12 of the first cover 10. The mesh netting pull string 68 is intertwined with the mesh opening 66. A hammock or tarpaulin 80 is positioned through the mesh opening 66 and into the interior cavity 64. The hammock 80 is additionally coupled to a far end of the mesh netting 62, opposite the mesh opening 66. The mesh netting pull string 68 is then tightened, securing the mesh netting 62 to the hammock 80 and covering the length of the hammock or tarpaulin 80.
[0043] The mesh netting 62 is positioned within the interior 56 of the container 50. A force on the container pull string 60 closes the opening 58 of the container 50 securing the mesh netting 62 within. The second cover 30 is then arranged over the opening 58 of the container 50. The pair of buckle straps 20 are then engaged allowing the second cover 30 to squeeze the container 50 against the first cover 10.
[0044] As shown, the operator will choose two structures 90 and secure harnesses 100 to each. The operator will release the buckle straps 20 allowing the second cover 30 to freely move while the first cover 10 continues to be static. The operator will then couple the pull handle 16 to the harness 100 as shown in FIG. 7.
[0045] The container pull string 60 is then loosened allowing the opening 58 to widen. The operator will then pull the hammock 80 and mesh netting 62 combination across to the second structure 90. The operator will fasten the harness 100 to the hammock 80. Once secured, the mesh netting pull string 68 is loosened allowing the mesh opening 66 to widen and be peeled away from the hammock 80 and stored in the interior cavity 64 until the operator is ready to move the hammock or tarpaulin 80 to another location.
[0046] In another embodiment as shown in FIG. 8, the operator may choose to secure the hammock 80 to the harness 100 first. The operator can walk away and pull the first cover 10 using the pull handle 16 and reveal the mesh netting 62, that is still secured to the hammock 80. The pull handle 16 will then be coupled to the harness 100. The operator will then loosen the mesh netting pull string 68 to widen the mesh opening 66 allowing the operator to peel the mesh netting 62 from the hammock 80 as shown in FIGS. 9-10.

1. A tarpaulin shroud comprising:a first cover;a second cover loosely coupled to the first cover;a container fixed to the first cover, the container having an interior;a mesh netting attached to the interior and engulfing a tarpaulin, the tarpaulin peelable from the mesh netting.
2. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 1, wherein the first cover includes a first wall and a second wall.
3. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 2, wherein the first wall includes a pull handle arranged at a central position of the first wall.
4. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 3, wherein the first cover includes a pair of buckle straps.
5. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 4, wherein the first cover and second cover are coupled together by the pair of buckle straps.
6. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 5, wherein the container includes an outer wall and an inner wall.
7. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 6, wherein the outer wall and inner wall formulate an opening.
8. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 7, wherein the container further including a container pull string.
9. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 8, wherein the container pull string intertwines with the opening.
10. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 9, wherein the mesh netting further includes an interior cavity.
11. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 10, wherein the mesh netting further includes a mesh opening.

15. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 14, wherein an end of each buckle strap of the pair of buckle straps is positioned on opposing sides of the second wall of the first cover.
16. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 15, wherein a second end of each buckle strap of the pair of buckle straps is positioned on opposing sides of the second wall of the second cover.
17. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 16, wherein the container is positioned between the first cover and the second cover.
18. The tarpaulin shroud of claim 17, wherein the tarpaulin is positioned through the mesh opening and coupled with the interior cavity.
