Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of hairdressing devices, more particularly to a straightening and curling dual-purpose hairdressing device.BACKGROUND
[0002] In the field of hairdressing tools, as consumer demand for hairstyle diversity continues to grow, multi-functional styling tools have become the focal point of the market. Users not only want to quickly straighten their hair for a sleek look, but also desire the convenience of creating natural curls to suit various occasion-based styling needs. However, existing hairdressing device products have a single function, with most products featuring only straightening or curling capability. This fails to fully meet users' diverse styling needs for both straight and curled hairstyles.
[0003] From the perspective of structural design, conventional straighteners usually have straightening plates of flat structure. Two straightening plates can only apply vertical pressure and heat to hair when closed. This structural design determines that it is only suitable for straightening hair. However, curling irons adopt an arc-shaped roller structure, which achieves a curling effect by wrapping hair around the roller and thermal-shaping it. The two structures are independent of each other and their functions are difficult to be integrated into a single device. To integrate straightening and curling functions, a novel structure needs to be designed that can apply vertical pressure to hair to achieve straight hair and can also curl and shape hair through a special structure. However, there is no mature integrated structural design solution available currently.
[0004] In terms of airflow design, the airflow design of the existing hairdressing devices is made around a single function. Blow-dry straighteners for straightening hair are provided with an air nozzle that only blows out a hot airflow of a single direction, usually parallel to the straightening plates, with the aim of quickly drying hair and assisting in straightening and shaping. The airflow design of the curling irons focuses on evenly wrapping around hair, helping curly hair to quickly shape. Since the two functions have significant differences in the requirements for airflow direction, airflow speed and temperature, existing hairdressing devices are difficult to meet the different needs of straight and curly hair simultaneously through a single airflow system. Therefore, developing an integrated hairdressing device that combines straightening and curling functions requires innovative improvements in structural design and airflow system to fill the market gap and meet the growing demand for multifunctional hairdressing among consumers.SUMMARY

[0030] A clear and complete description as below is provided for the technical scheme in the embodiments of the present disclosure. Apparently, the embodiments described hereinafter are merely part embodiments of the present disclosure, rather than all of the embodiments. All other embodiments obtained by the ordinary skill in the art based on the embodiments in the present disclosure without creative work are intended to be included in the scope of protection of the present disclosure.
[0031] Referring to FIG. 1 to FIG. 6, in an embodiment of the present disclosure, a straightening and curling dual-purpose hairdressing device includes a main body 10. The main body 10 is of a hollow structure. A control circuit 11 is integrated inside the main body 10. One end of the main body 10 is provided with an air inlet 12 and another end of the main body 10 is connected to an air nozzle 20, whereby forming inside the main body 10 a fluid channel extended from the air inlet 12 to the air nozzle 20. The fluid channel has provided therein a motor 12 and a heating unit 13 electrically connected to the control circuit 11 respectively. The fluid channel is configured to generate a directional fluid through the motor 12 that enters along the air inlet 12 and flows through the heating unit 13 before being blown out from the air nozzle 20, wherein the air nozzle 20 includes an air outlet component 30 and an air blocking component 40.
[0032] The air outlet component 30 includes an outer ring body 31 fixedly connected to the main body 10 and two hair treatment bodies 32 formed on the outer ring body 31. The two hair treatment bodies 32 are of a hollow structure and are communicated with the fluid channel through the outer ring body 31. The two hair treatment bodies 32 are provided with straightening surfaces 321 arranged facing each other to clamp hair therebetween and curling surfaces 322 arranged back to back to wrap hair thereon. The straightening surfaces 321 are formed with straightening air outlets 323. The directional fluid passes through the straightening air outlets 323 to guide hair between the two straightening surfaces 321 and blow it in one same direction. The curling surfaces 322 are formed with curling air outlets 324. The directional fluid passes through the curling air outlets 324 to guide hair to wrap around the curling surfaces 322.
[0033] The air blocking component 40 includes an inner ring body 41 rotatably connected to an inner side of the outer ring body 31 and two blocking bodies 42 formed on the inner ring body 41 and extended into interiors of the two hair treatment bodies 32 respectively. The blocking body 42 is provided with a first blocking part 421a / 422a configured to block the straightening air outlet 323 and a second blocking part 421b / 422b configured to block the curling air outlet 324.
[0034] A toggle element 50 configured to drive rotation of the inner ring body 41 is arranged at the inner ring body 41 and the outer ring body 31, allowing the inner ring body 41 to rotate between two positions. When the inner ring body 41 is rotated to one position, the first blocking part 421a / 422a blocks the straightening air outlet 323 and the second blocking part 421b / 422b is removed from the curling air outlet 324. When the inner ring body 41 is rotated to another position, the first blocking part 421a / 422a is removed from the straightening air outlet 323 and the second blocking part 421b / 422b blocks the curling air outlet 324.
[0035] When the straightening and curling dual-purpose hairdressing device is working, after the device is turned on, the control circuit 11 starts the motor 12 and the heating unit 13. An airflow generated by the motor 12 enters the fluid channel inside the main body 10 from the air inlet 12 and then flows through the heating unit 13 to be heated, and finally forms a directional hot airflow to be blown out from the air nozzle 20. When straight hair is needed, just rotate the inner ring body 41 by means of the toggle element 50, so that the first blocking part 421a / 422a is removed from the straightening air outlet 323 and the second blocking part 421b / 422b blocks the curling air outlet 324, then the hot airflow enters the hair treatment body 32 through the outer ring body 31 and is blown out form the straightening air outlet 323. The directional fluid guides hair between the straightening surfaces 321 of the two hair treatment bodies 32 and blow it in one same direction. While the straightening surfaces 321 are restricting the hair, the keratin structure in the hair is changed under the function of the hot airflow, and the hydrogen bond is rearranged, thereby achieving an effect of straightening hair. When curly hair is needed, slide the toggle element 50 once again, so that the inner ring body 41 is rotated to another position, allowing the first blocking part 421a / 422a to block the straightening air outlet 323 and the second blocking part 421b / 422b to remove from the curling air outlet 324. Then the hot airflow is blown out from the curling air outlet 324, and the directional fluid guides hair to wrap around the curling surfaces 322, where the hot airflow heats and shapes the rolled hair to create a curly hairstyle.
[0036] Through the above arrangement, this device solves the limitation that conventional blow-dry straighteners or blow-dry curling irons have a single function. It integrates both straightening and curling functions into one unit, and thus can meet the diverse hairstyling needs of users. Therefore, the users do not have to purchase straightening and curling tools separately, thereby saving costs and storage space. In addition, the structure design is ingenious. Through the rotatable air blocking component 40 and the uniquely designed hair treatment body 32, a simple sliding operation can realize toggling between straightening and curling functions, whereby the operation is simple and the difficulty of usage is reduced. From the perspective of user experience, a reasonable airflow design enables the hot airflow to be more accurately acted on hair no matter in the straightening or curling mode, improving the hairdressing efficiency.
[0037] Referring to FIG. 6, on the basis of the above technical scheme, the straightening surface 321 is of a flat structure. The straightening surfaces 321 of the two hair treatment bodies 32 are spaced apart from each other, allowing formation of a space between the two straightening surfaces 321 for hair to pass through, which is convenient for a user to smoothly pass hair through this space for straightening. The curling surface 322 is of a curved surface structure. Centers corresponding to the curling surfaces 322 of the two hair treatment bodies 32 are located on one same axis. By utilizing the Coanda effect, the device causes hair to tightly adhere to and wrap around the curved surface under the action of hot airflow. This facilitates the formation of curls with uniform curvature and neat shape, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and longevity of the curls. Additionally, this structural design ensures a smoother curling process.
[0038] Referring to FIG. 3 to FIG. 6, on the basis of the above technical scheme, the straightening air outlet 323 is arranged as an elongated structure along a length direction of the straightening surface 321. Both the straightening air outlets 323 are arranged close to one same side of the two straightening surfaces 321 and facing toward another side of the straightening surfaces 321 at an angle, thereby guiding hair to enter from one side of the straightening surfaces 321 and blow out from another side of the straightening surfaces 321, which ensures the hair to be evenly heated during the entire straightening process and effectively avoids local overheat damage to hair. Meanwhile, this arrangement of angle can form an airflow thrust, guiding hair to smoothly enter from one side of the straightening surfaces 321 and blow out from another side of the straightening surfaces 321, enhancing the straightening efficiency and operating convenience.
[0039] The straightening air outlet 323 of one straightening surface 321 is extended with a first guide channel 33, while the straightening air outlet 323 of another straightening surface 321 is configured for the first blocking part 421a / 422a to expose out of the hair treatment body 32. A part of the first blocking part 421a / 422a exposed out of the hair treatment body 32 is formed with a second guide channel 34 communicated with the interior of the hair treatment body 32. The first guide channel 33 and the second guide channel 34 are configured to guide the directional fluid to flow out toward another side of the straightening surfaces 321. The arrangement of the first guide channel 33 and the second guide channel 34 further enhances the guiding effect of the directional fluid, causing the hot airflow to be more accurately acted on hair. This strengthens the wrapping capability and acting force of the hot airflow on hair during straightening, ensuring closer adherence of hair to the straightening surfaces 321, thus improving the straightness and flatness of the straightening effect.
[0040] Both the first guide channel 33 and the second guide channel 34 have provided therein a plurality of first air deflectors 35 that are uniformly distributed. The first air deflectors are capable of dividing the hot airflow into multiple fine and uniform airflows, preventing the hot airflow from being overly concentrated or turbulent, not only ensuring the hair to be heated more evenly and delicately, but also reducing the impact of the airflow on the hair, minimizing issues such as frizz and flyaways, thereby further enhancing the user experience during the straightening process and achieving more ideal and superior straightening effects.
[0041] Referring to FIG. 3 to FIG. 6, on the basis of the above technical scheme, a plurality of curling air outlets 324 are provided that are uniformly distributed. The plurality of curling air outlets 324 are arranged as elongated structures along a length direction of the curling surface 322, thereby enabling the hot airflow to evenly cover the hair rolling areas and preventing uneven local heating that could affect the curling effect. The curling air outlets 324 are arranged at an angle tangent to the curling surface 322. The curling surface 322 has an outside formed with a plurality of protrusion parts 36 corresponding to the curling air outlets 324. The curling air outlets 324 arranged at an angle tangent to the curling surface 322 are formed by means of the protrusion parts 36, which then form a unique air channel in conjunction with the plurality of protrusion parts 36 on the outside of the curling surface 322. As a result, the hot airflow is blown out in the direction tangent to the curling surface 322 and is consistent with the rolling direction of hair. The generated airflow force can guide hair to tightly adhere to the curling surface 322, enhancing the styling effect and three-dimensional appearance of curling hair. The curling air outlet 324 is extended with a third guide channel 37 along inside of the protrusion part 36, wherein the third guide channel 37 is configured to guide the directional fluid to flow out at an angle tangent to the curling surface 322, so that the hot airflow is more accurately acted on hair to enhance the curling and styling effect. The third guide channel 37 has provided therein a plurality of second air deflectors 38 that are uniformly distributed, whereby dividing the hot airflow into delicate and gentle airflows to reduce the impact of the hot airflow on hair and to prevent the hair being hurt by high temperature and strong airflow. Meanwhile, it can facilitate a more uniform penetration of hot airflow into the hair, creating a more refined and smoother curl style while significantly improving users' styling experience and the final hairstyle quality.
[0042] Referring to FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, on the basis of the above technical scheme, the toggle element 50 includes a long hole 51 formed on the outer ring body 31 and a toggle part 52 formed on the inner ring body 41. The toggle part 52 extends out of the outer ring body 31 along the long hole 51, and the toggle part 52 is capable of sliding back and forth along the long hole 51. A user can directly slide the toggle part 52 extended out of the outer ring body 31 with a hand to move it back and forth along the long hole 51. This simple and intuitive operation can enable rotation of the inner ring body 41 and thus quickly switch between on and off states of the straightening air outlet 323 and the curling air outlets 324, thereby realizing toggling between straightening and curling functions. Such structure is simple to operate and reduces the learning cost of users. Furthermore, the long hole 51 plays a limiting and guiding role in the movement of the toggle part 52, ensuring the toggle part 52 to move stably during the operation, avoiding the inner ring body 41 being deviated or stuck during rotation, and guaranteeing the smoothness and reliability of function toggling of the hairdressing device.
