Description

RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese patent application number 202421670439.0, filed on Jul. 15, 2024. Chinese patent application number 202421670439.0 is incorporated herein by reference.FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE

[0002] The present disclosure relates to camping supplies, in particular to a top connecting mechanism of a canopy and the canopy.BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE

[0003] Existing canopies comprise a plurality of upright posts, a top seat, a plurality of canopy rod assemblies, and a top connection mechanism. Each of the plurality of canopy rod assemblies comprises a first canopy rod, and a first end of the first canopy rod is pivotally connected to the top seat. The top connection mechanism comprises a connection seat and a plurality of connecting rods, and the connection seat is located below the top seat. A first end of each of the plurality of connecting rods is pivotally connected to the connection seat, and a second end of each of the plurality of connecting rods is pivotally connected to a corresponding first canopy rod. The connection seat comprises a plurality of pivoting connection slots respectively pivotally connected to the plurality of connecting rods. Each of the plurality of pivoting connection slots comprises a first side wall and a second side wall arranged spaced apart from the first side wall. The plurality of connecting rods are pivotally connected between the first side wall and the second side wall. Because the plurality of pivoting connection slots are not provided with a locking structure, the plurality of connecting rods cannot be locked in place when in an unfolded position. Thus, existing canopies are easily subject to misoperation or easily affected by external forces to fold. There is a need for further improvement.

[0004] The technical solution disclosed in CN208669085U or U.S. Pat. No. 11,225,809B2, differs from the aforementioned existing canopies in that a pull rod is fixedly installed on the connection seat, and when unfolded, the upper end of the pull rod abuts the bottom surface of the top seat to maintain the unfolded state. Because the pull rod is added, the existing canopies have complex structures, not only is the use of space inside the canopy affected, but the pull rod occupies a large amount of space after packaging.

[0005] The technical solution disclosed in CN109667467A or U.S. Pat. No. 10,597,897B2 or CN207260738U or CN206110825U or U.S. Pat. No. 10,060,153B2, differs from the aforementioned existing canopies in that a stop rod is fixedly installed below the top seat, and the unfolded state is maintained by the stop rod abutting and locking the connection seat. This technical solution has a complex structure and inconvenient operation.

[0006] The technical solution disclosed in CN110725608B or U.S. Pat. No. 10,982,466B2, differs from the aforementioned existing canopies in that the canopy comprises a middle connection seat, a lower connection seat, an elastic member, and a first limiting mechanism. The middle connection seat and the lower connection seat are arranged up and down and can move away from or close to each other, and the elastic member is arranged between the middle connection seat and the lower connection seat to generate elastic force causing the middle connection seat and the lower connection seat to move away from each other. The first limiting mechanism limits a maximum spacing distance between the middle connection seat and the lower connection seat, and a frame rod assembly comprises a long support rod and a short support rod. Two ends of the long support rod are pivotally connected to the middle connection seat and a first canopy rod respectively, and two ends of the short support rod are pivotally connected to the lower connection seat and the long support rod respectively. An auxiliary unfolding mechanism comprises the middle connection seat, the lower connection seat, the elastic member, the first limiting mechanism, the long support rod, and the short support rod. Because the middle connection seat, the lower connection seat, the elastic member, and the first limiting mechanism are added, this technical solution has a complex structure.

[0007] The technical solution disclosed in CN114809794A, differs from the aforementioned existing canopies in that the canopy mechanism comprises an upper connection seat, a lower connection seat, and a plurality of canopy rod groups. The upper connection seat and the lower connection seat are arranged up and down, and two ends of each of the plurality of canopy rod groups are pivotally connected to the upper connection seat and the fixed seat respectively. Each of the plurality of canopy rod groups comprises a first canopy rod and a push rod, and a first end of the push rod is pivotally connected to the first canopy rod. The push rod is pivotally connected to the lower connection seat, and an unfolding retaining mechanism comprises an elastic body installed on the lower connection seat. A second end of the push rod extends beyond an axis of rotation between the push rod and the lower connection seat, and the elastic body upwardly abuts the second ends of the push rods of the plurality of canopy rod groups causing the push rods to be maintained at an unfolding angle. Through the push rods of the plurality of canopy rod groups being maintained at the unfolding angle, causing the canopy frame to be maintained in an unfolded state, this technical solution has a complex structure.BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE
