Description

Bead grinder for pipe fittings

[0001] The present invention relates to a bead grinder for pipe manufacturing, and more particularly, to a bead grinder for pipe manufacturing capable of producing pipe manufacturing having uniform quality.

[0002] Generally, there are two methods for manufacturing steel tubes: one is by injection molding and the other is by processing steel plates into tubes. However, since the injection molding method has a high manufacturing cost, the processing method using steel plates is widely used.

[0003] A method of manufacturing a steel pipe using a steel plate is to continuously pull out a steel plate rolled into a roll shape, form it into a circular pipe shape with both ends facing upward by a plurality of rollers, weld the joints, and then cut it into a certain length according to the user's request or need.

[0004] A device that manufactures steel plates into a pipe shape like this is called a pipe forming machine, and the pipe forming machine includes a forming device that gradually rolls a strip-shaped plate of a predetermined width into a pipe shape, a welding device that welds the joints that are in contact with each other by rolling them into a pipe shape, and a bead polishing device for removing beads formed at the joints of the welded pipe.

[0005] The bead grinding device, which is one of the components of the grinding machine, is configured to remove beads that protrude outside the joint using sandpaper in the form of a belt. However, since the sandpaper in the form of a belt grinds only one point of the bead, the bead is not properly removed, which causes a problem in that the quality is not uniform.

[0006] The present invention is intended to solve the above-mentioned problems and provides a bead grinder for pipe production that can produce pipes of uniform quality by effectively removing beads by grinding multiple points of the beads.

[0007] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a pipe bead grinder, which is included in a pipe manufacturing device that rolls steel plates into a pipe shape, welds joints that are in contact with each other, and grinds beads protruding from the joints to produce a pipe manufacturing device, wherein the pipe manufacturing device comprises: a grinding housing through which a pipe manufacturing device moves while passing through the grinding housing in a forward-backward direction so that the joints are positioned at the upper end; and a grinding module having a plate-shaped grinding wheel provided at the lower end thereof, the grinding module being provided on the upper side of the pipe manufacturing device within the grinding housing and rotating by receiving driving force from a first motor; wherein the grinding module can be tilted left and right with respect to the center of the grinding wheel.

[0008] In addition, the grinding module can swing forward and backward along the surface of the pipe so that the grinding wheel can be brought into close contact with the pipe.

[0009] In addition, the above-described bead grinder for the pipe grinding machine further includes: a first support member that is arranged in a grinding housing so as to be open downward in a 'ㄷ' shape, with both ends positioned at the front and rear of the upper portion of the grinding module and the upper end of the grinding module coupled to the center of the upper end; a second support member that is arranged in the grinding housing so as to be in a 'ㄷ' shape, with both ends axially coupled to both ends of the first support member and open toward one side; and a bearing housing that is connected to the grinding housing so as to be located on the other side of the second support member and has a bearing therein; wherein the upper end of the first support member can be tilted left and right with respect to a point of coupling with the second support member through a driving force of a second motor, and the second support member can be provided with a swing guide rod that protrudes from the other side center toward the other side and is coupled to a bearing of the bearing housing.

[0010] In addition, the above-described bead grinder for the pipe joint further includes: a third support member having a 'ㄷ' shape, with both ends positioned on the outside of one side of the grinding housing, a second support member positioned on the inside, and a bearing housing coupled to the center of the other side; a pair of fixing members having one end rotatably coupled to a central axis penetrating both ends of the third support member and the other end coupled to one side of the grinding housing; and a pressure adjusting means capable of adjusting the length while connecting the upper end of the bearing housing and the upper end of the grinding housing; wherein the other end of the third support member can be moved up and down by adjusting the length of the pressure adjusting means.

[0011] In addition, the grinding housing can be moved up and down together with the grinding module based on the penetrating pipe.

[0012] According to the present invention, as the grinding module tilts left and right with respect to the center of the grinding wheel, the grinding wheel for grinding the beads of the pipe is tilted together and multiple points of the beads are ground, so that beads formed during welding during the process of manufacturing the pipe can be effectively removed, thereby producing a pipe having superior quality and uniformity.

[0013] In addition, since the grinding module swings forward and backward along the surface of the pipe, even if there is a discontinuous surface in the pipe, the grinding wheel can be in close contact with the pipe, thereby removing beads more effectively.

[0023] The present invention proposes a pipe bead grinder included in a pipe manufacturing device that produces a pipe by rolling a steel plate into a pipe shape, welding a joint that contacts each other, and grinding a bead protruding from the joint so as to produce a pipe having a uniform quality by grinding multiple points of the bead, wherein the pipe bead grinder comprises: a grinding housing through which a pipe is moved while passing through it in a forward-backward direction so that the joint is positioned at the upper end; and a grinding module having a plate-shaped grinding wheel provided at the lower end and rotating by receiving driving force from a first motor and provided on the upper side of the pipe within the grinding housing; wherein the grinding module is characterized in that it can tilt left and right with respect to the center of the grinding wheel.

[0024] The scope of the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below, and various modifications may be made by a person having ordinary knowledge in the relevant technical field without departing from the technical spirit of the present invention.

[0025] Hereinafter, the bead grinding machine of the present invention is described in detail with reference to the attached drawings 1 to 12.

[0026]

[0027] The pipe-making bead grinder (A) of the present invention refers to a device for grinding beads (11) included in a pipe-making device that produces a pipe-making pipe (10) by rolling steel plates into a pipe shape, welding the joints that are in contact with each other, and grinding beads (11) protruding from the joints, as illustrated in Fig. 1. In addition, the pipe-making device of the present invention may be provided not only in one piece but also in multiple pieces.

[0028] A bead grinder (A) for pipe grinding, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 6, includes a grinding housing (100) through which a pipe grinding pipe (10) passes, and a history module (200) for removing beads (11) formed on the pipe grinding pipe (10) passing through the grinding housing (100).

[0029] The grinding housing (100) may be formed in the shape of a square tube with two facing sides open so that a pipe (10) arranged in the front-back direction can pass through the inside, and may be provided so that the front-back direction is open. The pipe (10) that moves while penetrating the grinding housing (100) in the front-back direction is arranged so that the joint is located at the top, and the bead (11) is located at the top of the pipe (10) that passes through the grinding housing (100).

[0030] The grinding module (200) is provided on the upper side of the pipe (10) in the grinding housing (100), and a grinding wheel (210) in the form of a plate that rotates by receiving driving force from the first motor (910) is provided on the lower side. The pipe (10) is rolled into a pipe shape, and then the joint is welded and passes through the grinding housing (100). One side of the grinding wheel (210) comes into contact with the bead (11) of the pipe (10) passing through the grinding housing (100), thereby grinding the bead (11).

[0031] The grinding wheel (100) of the present invention may be composed of sandpaper in the form of a single plate, but may also be composed of a plurality of sandpapers that are arranged radially with parts overlapping each other to form a plate shape, such as so-called 'wing paper' or 'wheel paper', and may be provided in a detachable manner so that replacement can be performed depending on the degree of wear.

[0032] And the first motor (910) that provides driving force for driving the grinding wheel (210) may be provided, for example, on one side of the grinding housing (100). In this case, a first pulley may be coupled to the motor shaft of the first motor (910), and a second pulley that transmits rotational force to the grinding wheel (210) may be provided in the grinding module (200), and the first pulley and the second pulley are connected via a belt, so that the driving force of the first motor (910) may be transmitted to the grinding wheel (210) via the first pulley, the belt, and the second pulley.

[0033] This grinding module (200) is configured to tilt left and right based on the center of the grinding wheel (210). As an example for this, the bead grinder (A) of the present invention may further include a first support member (300).

[0034] The first support member (300) is positioned within the grinding housing (100) in a 'ㄷ' shape as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, and is open downward, so that both ends can be positioned at the front and rear of the upper portion of the grinding module (200). At this time, the upper end of the grinding module (200) can be connected to the upper center of the first support member (300), so that the grinding module (200) and the first support member (300) can form an integral body.

[0035] The first support member (300) can tilt its upper end left and right with the driving force of the second motor (920) as the center. To this end, the upper ends of the first support member (300) can be axially coupled with other components (for example, the second support member (400) or the grinding housing (100)). In addition, the first support member (300) can be connected to the second motor (920) provided on the upper surface of the grinding housing (100) through a link member. Here, the link member can be composed of a plurality of link sections, one end of which is eccentrically coupled to the motor shaft of the second motor (920), and the other end of which is rotatably coupled to the upper center of the first support member (300), and at least one link section can be axially fixed to the grinding housing (100).

[0036] That is, the grinding module (200) tilts together with the first support member (300) that rotates by receiving driving force from the second motor (920) through the link member as illustrated in FIGS. 7 to 9, so that the grinding wheel (210) provided at the bottom of the grinding module (200) can grind multiple points of the bead (11) as it tilts. Therefore, the bead (11) formed during welding during the process of manufacturing the pipe (10) can be effectively removed, so that a pipe of superior quality and uniformity can be produced.

[0037] As described above, the grinding module (200) tilted left and right is configured to swing forward and backward along the surface of the pipe (10), so that the grinding wheel (210) can be brought into close contact with the pipe (10). As an example for this, the pipe bead grinder (A) may further include a second support (400) and a bearing housing (500) as illustrated in FIGS. 4 to 6.

[0038] The second support member (400) may be positioned in the grinding housing (100) so that both ends are axially connected to both ends of the first support member (300) and open toward one side, forming a 'ㄷ' shape, and the bearing housing (500) may be connected to the grinding housing (100) so as to be positioned on the other side of the second support member (400) and may have a bearing provided therein. At this time, holes may be formed in the left and right directions in the bearing housing (500), and bearings may be provided at the front and rear ends of the holes, respectively.

[0039] And the second support member (400) may be equipped with a swing inducing rod (410) for swinging the grinding module (200). The swing inducing rod (410) may be formed to protrude from the center of the other side of the second support member (400) toward the other side and be combined with the bearing of the bearing housing (500).

[0040] Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 10, the grinding module (200) swings forward and backward along the surface of the pipe (10), so that even if a discontinuous surface exists in the pipe (10), the grinding wheel (210) is in close contact with the pipe (10) and can grind the bead (11), so that the bead (11) can be removed more effectively.

[0041] Meanwhile, the pipe bead grinder (A) of the present invention can be configured to control the pressing pressure of the grinding wheel (210) that is positioned on the upper side of the pipe (10) and comes into contact with the bead (11), and for this purpose, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 6, it can further include a third support (600), a fixing member (700), and a pressure control means (800).

[0042] The third support member (600) may be formed in a 'ㄷ' shape, with both ends positioned on the outside of one side of the grinding housing (100), the second support member (400) positioned on the inside, and the bearing housing (500) coupled to the center of the other side. The third support member (600) may be rotatably coupled by a pair of fixing members (700) having a central axis (710), and the pair of fixing members (700) may be rotatably coupled to one end of the central axis (710) that passes through both ends of the third support member (600), and the other end may be coupled to one side of the grinding housing (100).

[0043] And the pressure regulating means (800) is configured to have a variable length, and may be an air cylinder, an elastic spring, etc., and may connect the upper end of the bearing housing (500) and the upper end of the grinding housing (100). Therefore, as shown in Fig. 11, the third support member (600) can be moved up and down on the other side with respect to the central axis (710) by adjusting the length of the pressure regulating means (800), and as the third support member (600) is moved, the second support member (400), the first support member (300), and the grinding module (200) connected thereto are moved up and down together, so that the pressure at which the grinding wheel (210) comes into contact with the pipe (10) can be adjusted.

[0044] In addition, the worn grinding wheel (210) can be replaced by moving the third support member (600) upward through the pressure regulating means (800) so that the grinding wheel (210) is separated from the pipe (10).

[0045] Meanwhile, when removing a bead (11) through a grinding wheel (210), it is preferable to basically make the grinding wheel (210) horizontally contact the pipe (10). To this end, the grinding housing (100) may be configured to move up and down together with the grinding module (200) based on the pipe (10) through which it passes.

[0046] For example, as illustrated in FIG. 12, a support (930) that is erected on the ground along the height direction of the grinding housing (100) may be provided on one side of the grinding housing (100), and a movement guide (110) that is coupled to the support (930) and can move along the length direction of the support (930) may be provided on one side of the grinding housing (100). In addition, the bottom surface of the grinding housing (100) may extend in the other direction, and the extended bottom surface of the grinding housing (100) may be coupled with a screw bolt that is erected vertically on the ground. The grinding housing (100) configured in this manner can be moved in the up and down direction by receiving driving force from the first motor (910), the second motor (930), or a separate motor, and as a result, the grinding wheel (210) can be adjusted to be basically horizontal according to the specifications of the pipe (10) penetrating the grinding housing (100).
