Description

Side-mounted blind spot warning lights

[0001] The present invention relates to a side-mounted blind spot warning light, and more particularly, to a side-mounted blind spot warning light that enables a driver driving from the side to distinguish whether the side turn signal light is lighting up for a turn signal function or for an emergency flashing display function.

[0002] Generally, vehicles are equipped with turn signals on the front or rear, left and right sides of the vehicle to indicate the left or right direction of travel. Depending on the direction of travel of the vehicle, the left turn signal or right turn signal flashes to indicate the direction the vehicle is traveling.

[0003] That is, in general, the turn signal performs the function of informing other vehicles of the direction in which the vehicle is to proceed in advance or while proceeding. For example, when the left turn signal is operated, the left front light in front of the vehicle and the left rear light in the rear blink, and conversely, when the right turn signal is operated, the right front light in front of the vehicle and the right rear light in the rear blink.

[0004] Additionally, automobiles are generally required to have an emergency flashing function to notify other vehicles when driving in an emergency, and this emergency flashing display function is performed by flashing the left and right turn signals simultaneously.

[0005] In this way, the conventional vehicle signal light device configured as described above lights up the turn signal light provided on the left or right side of the vehicle according to the vehicle driving condition to indicate the driving direction of the vehicle, or lights up the turn signal lights provided on the left and right sides of the vehicle simultaneously to indicate an emergency driving condition.

[0006] In the case of large vehicles such as buses and trucks, side turn signals are sometimes installed on the side of the vehicle so that vehicles located to the side can also see the turn signals.

[0007] At this time, when the left turn signal is operated, the left side turn signal on the left side of the vehicle is blinked, and conversely, when the right turn signal is operated, the right side turn signal on the vehicle is blinked.

[0008] Additionally, when the emergency flashing display function is activated, the left side turn signal on the left side of the vehicle and the right side turn signal on the vehicle flash simultaneously.

[0009] In this case, the vehicle on the left cannot tell whether the vehicle on the right has turned on its left turn signal or activated its emergency flasher display by looking at the left side turn signal.

[0010] That is, there is a problem where it is difficult to determine whether the vehicle is changing lanes or whether the emergency flasher function should be activated just by looking at the side turn signal.

[0011] Korean Patent Publication No. [10-2010-0133687] discloses a side signal lamp for a vehicle.

[0012] Accordingly, the present invention has been devised to solve the above-mentioned problems, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide a side-mounted blind spot warning light that enables a driver driving from the side to distinguish whether the side turn signal light attached to the side of a vehicle is lighting up according to the turn signal function and the emergency flashing display function, thereby indicating whether the driver is indicating the direction of travel or emergency driving.

[0013] The purpose of the embodiments of the present invention is not limited to the purpose mentioned above, and other purposes not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains from the description below.

[0014] In order to achieve the above-described purpose, a side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention is characterized by including: a first lamp housing (100) having a first cover (110) that allows light to pass through and is attached to one side of a vehicle; a first emergency light (120) provided inside the first lamp housing (100) and operated when the vehicle's emergency flashing display function is operated; and a first side turn signal light (130) provided inside the first lamp housing (100) and operated when the vehicle's one-side turn signal display function is operated.

[0015] In addition, the side-mounted blind spot warning light is characterized by having a diffusion lens (500) provided in the direction in which the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130) irradiate light.

[0016] In addition, the side-mounted blind spot warning light is characterized in that one of the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130) is arranged horizontally, and the other is arranged vertically.

[0017] In addition, the side-mounted blind spot warning light is characterized by having different colors for the first emergency light (120) and the first side turn signal light (130).

[0018] In addition, the side-mounted blind spot warning light is characterized by having different shapes of the first emergency light (120) and the first side turn signal light (130).

[0019] In addition, the side-mounted blind spot warning light is characterized by including a second lamp housing (200) that is attached to the other side of the vehicle and has a second cover (210) that allows light to pass through; a second emergency light (220) that is provided inside the second lamp housing (200) and is activated when the vehicle's emergency flashing display function is activated; and a first other-side turn signal light (230) that is provided inside the second lamp housing (200) and is activated when the vehicle's other-side turn signal display function is activated.

[0020] In addition, the side-mounted blind spot warning light is characterized by having a diffusion lens (500) provided in the direction in which the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) irradiate light.

[0021] In addition, the side-mounted blind spot warning light is characterized in that one of the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) is arranged horizontally, and the other is arranged vertically.

[0022] In addition, the side-mounted blind spot warning light is characterized by having different colors for the second emergency light (220) and the first side turn signal light (230).

[0023] In addition, the side-mounted blind spot warning light is characterized by having different shapes of the second emergency light (220) and the first side turn signal light (230).

[0024] According to a side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention, the side turn signal light attached to the side of the vehicle can be distinguished between lighting according to the turn signal function and lighting according to the emergency flashing display function, thereby enabling the driver of the vehicle and the driver driving from the side of the vehicle to drive safely by enabling the distinction between the emergency light and the turn signal light.

[0025] Additionally, by providing a diffusing lens in the direction where light is irradiated, it prevents glare and prevents it from obstructing the view of drivers of other vehicles, thereby enabling safe driving.

[0026] Additionally, by differentiating the arrangement of the emergency lights and turn signals, it has the effect of enabling intuitive distinction between the emergency lights and turn signals.

[0027] Additionally, by making the colors of the emergency lights and turn signals different, it has the effect of enabling intuitive distinction between the emergency lights and turn signals.

[0028] In addition, by making the shapes of the emergency lights and turn signals different, it has the effect of enabling intuitive distinction between the emergency lights and turn signals.

[0059] All vehicles have a blind spot (the dark area in Figure 1) in the driver's field of vision, as shown in Figure 1.

[0060] Therefore, no matter how carefully a driver drives, an accident can occur due to the driver's blind spot.

[0061] One way to prevent these accidents is to drive defensively, such as honking the horn at vehicles in the driver's blind spot.

[0062] As an example of Fig. 2, a vehicle located at the left rear of a large vehicle (bus) can distinguish whether the large vehicle (bus) on the right has turned on its left turn signal or activated its emergency flashing display function because the turn signal (left / right turn signal) at the rear of the large vehicle (bus) is visible, and thus corresponding driving is possible. However, a vehicle located at the left front of the large vehicle (bus) can only see its left side turn signal, and the turn signal (left / right turn signal) at the rear of the large vehicle (bus) is not visible, so it is impossible to distinguish whether the vehicle on the right has turned on its left turn signal or activated its emergency flashing display function, making accurate corresponding driving difficult.

[0063] That is, the driver of a vehicle located on the left front of a large vehicle (bus) has difficulty distinguishing whether the large vehicle (bus) located on the right is changing lanes to the driver's lane or has activated its emergency flasher function by only looking at the left turn signal of the large vehicle (bus) located on the right.

[0064] As illustrated in FIG. 3, a side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a first lamp housing (100), a first emergency light (120), and a first side signal light (130).

[0065] The first lamp housing (100) is equipped with a first cover (110) that allows light to pass through, and is attached to one side of the vehicle.

[0066] The above first lamp housing (100) is attached and fixed to one side of the vehicle.

[0067] Here, one side refers to the left side or the right side.

[0068] The above first cover (110) is made of a light-transmitting material so that the light of the lamp provided inside the first lamp housing (100) is irradiated to the outside.

[0069] The first emergency light (120) is installed inside the first lamp housing (100) and is activated when the vehicle's emergency flashing display function is activated.

[0070] The above first emergency light (120) is activated when the vehicle's emergency flashing display function is activated.

[0071] The control of the above first emergency light (120) is generally provided in the form of a button or the like in front of the driver's seat, and in the case of a button, the vehicle's emergency flashing display function can be activated by pressing the button.

[0072] Here, the first emergency light (120) can be implemented in various ways as long as it can be operated with a single signal, such as by being composed of a single lighting fixture and a cover capable of displaying a specific shape, or by being composed of multiple LEDs arranged in a specific shape.

[0073] The first side turn signal lamp (130) is provided inside the first lamp housing (100) and is operated when the vehicle's side turn signal display function is activated.

[0074] The above first side turn signal lamp (130) is operated when the vehicle's side turn signal display function is activated.

[0075] Control of the turn signal is generally possible by operating the turn signal switch or turn signal operating lever located next to the steering wheel (usually on the left) on the driver's seat, and the vehicle's turn signal can be operated by operating the switch or operating lever.

[0076] At this time, the first side turn signal (130) may be a left turn signal or a right turn signal.

[0077] That is, if installed on the left side of the vehicle, the first side turn signal (130) becomes a left turn signal, and if installed on the right side of the vehicle, the first side turn signal (130) becomes a right turn signal.

[0078] Here, the first side turn signal (130) can be implemented in various ways as long as it can be operated with a single signal, such as by being configured with a single light fixture and a cover capable of displaying a specific shape, or by being configured with multiple LEDs arranged in a specific shape.

[0079] The surface on which the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130) are formed is called a light-emitting surface.

[0080] In addition, the surface on which the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) described later are formed is also called a light-emitting surface.

[0081] When using a side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention, a driver driving in a conventional side mirror blind spot can distinguish whether a vehicle next to him is attempting to change lanes or turning on its emergency lights, and can thus drive defensively by honking the horn or applying the brakes, making it easier to prevent accidents in advance.

[0082] According to one embodiment of the present invention, a side-mounted blind spot warning light may be installed and used only on one side of the vehicle, depending on the case.

[0083] For example, in the case of a bus that only travels on a road with a bus-only lane on the right, a side-mounted blind spot warning light according to an embodiment of the present invention can be installed and used only on the left side, and in the case of a bus that only travels on a road with a bus-only lane on the left, a side-mounted blind spot warning light according to an embodiment of the present invention can be installed and used only on the right side.

[0084] In the above, an example of installation and use on only one side of a vehicle was given, but the present invention is not limited to this, and it is of course possible to install and use on both sides.

[0085] As illustrated in FIG. 4, a side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention may be installed and used in multiple locations on one side of the vehicle, depending on the case.

[0086] In the case of a large vehicle, if a side-mounted blind spot warning light according to an embodiment of the present invention is installed only at one point on one side of the vehicle, it may be difficult to confirm if the side-mounted blind spot warning light according to an embodiment of the present invention is positioned in a blind spot of the driver's vision on the side. Therefore, in the case of a large vehicle, it is preferable to install multiple blind spot warning lights at different points on one side of the vehicle.

[0087] At this time, the direction (angle) of the light-emitting surface of the side-attached blind spot warning light installed on the front side and the side-attached blind spot warning light installed on the rear side can be made different from each other. (See FIGS. 4 to 7)

[0088] As an example, referring to Fig. 11, the direction in which the light-emitting surface of the side-mounted blind spot warning light installed on the front side faces a horizontal angle of 45 degrees from the side of the vehicle, so that it lights up toward the blind spot of the left side mirror of the vehicle, and the direction in which the light-emitting surface of the side-mounted blind spot warning light installed on the rear side faces a horizontal angle of 80 degrees from the side of the vehicle, so that it lights up toward the blind spot of the left side mirror of the vehicle.

[0089] Due to this arrangement, the driver of the left vehicle can drive more safely because the side-mounted blind spot warning light installed on the side front of the right vehicle is in the driver's field of vision even if the side-mounted blind spot warning light installed on the side rear of the right vehicle is in the blind spot of the left vehicle.

[0090] A side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention may be characterized in that a diffusion lens (500) is provided in the direction in which the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130) irradiate light.

[0091] The above diffusion lens (500) is a lens that adjusts the diffusion angle of light, and the above diffusion lens (500) can be installed in each lamp (300) of the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130), installed in a specific lamp group unit, or installed in an integrated manner so that all lamps are covered, etc., in various ways.

[0092] For example, for each lamp (300), as shown in FIG. 8, a reflective member (400) may be formed to surround a portion of the lamp (300), and a diffusion lens (500) may be provided in the direction in which light is to be irradiated from the lamp (300).

[0093] In addition, the diffusion lens (500) may be provided between the first emergency light (120), the first lateral turn signal light (130), or the first emergency light (120) and the first lateral turn signal light (130) and the first cover (110). (See FIG. 8)

[0094] Alternatively, the diffusion lens (500) may be provided on the first cover (110).

[0095] In general, the blind spot of a vehicle based on the side mirror is approximately 45 to 90 degrees horizontally from the side of the vehicle, so the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130) are directed at approximately 65 to 70 degrees horizontally from the side of the vehicle, and the diffusion angle is adjusted with a diffusion lens (500) to prevent glare.

[0096] The above diffusion lens (500) includes a plurality of microlenses or a plurality of Fresnel lenses distributed on one surface of a light-transmitting substrate, and a portion of the plurality of microlenses or the plurality of Fresnel lenses may be configured to gradually increase or decrease in height from the center of the substrate toward the outer edge.

[0097] The substrate may be a transparent material that allows light to pass through, such as glass or a transparent plastic film or sheet, or in some cases, an opaque material suitable for the application.

[0098] A plurality of microlenses or a plurality of Fresnel lenses may be formed integrally with the substrate, but is not limited thereto, and may be manufactured separately from the substrate and then joined by various methods such as bonding or pressing. When using a synthetic resin system, the microlenses can be manufactured by injection molding, pressing, 2P, or thermosetting methods, and when using a glass system, lead-free and transfer methods can be used.

[0099] The size and angle of the pattern of multiple microlenses or multiple Fresnel lenses can be adjusted depending on the size and shape of the light source, the distance between the light-emitting element and the lens, and the assembly form.

[0100] Additionally, the plurality of microlenses or the plurality of Fresnel lenses may be of the same material as the substrate, but are not limited thereto, and may be of different materials that transmit light.

[0101] A plurality of microlenses or a plurality of Fresnel lenses serve to diffuse light incident on the bottom surface of the substrate into a wide angle.

[0102] The plurality of microlenses have a roughly spherical or ellipsoidal shape, and one cross-section may have a circular or elliptical shape.

[0103] The plurality of microlenses or the plurality of Fresnel lenses may have a shape in which the height gradually increases or decreases from the center of the substrate to the periphery. This shape assumes that the light source is arranged at the center of the substrate, and if the light source is arranged in a form that is offset from the center of the substrate, the arrangement may be changed so that the center position of the light source corresponds to the highest point of the plurality of microlenses or the plurality of Fresnel lenses. In addition, if a plurality of light sources are arranged on the bottom surface of one substrate, the highest point of the plurality of microlenses or the plurality of Fresnel lenses may be formed in multiple places so that the highest point is arranged above the point where each light source is arranged.

[0104] As illustrated in FIG. 6, a side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention may be characterized in that one of the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130) is arranged horizontally, and the other is arranged vertically.

[0105] For example, if the first emergency light (120) is arranged vertically, the first side turn signal light (130) can be arranged horizontally.

[0106] Alternatively, if the first emergency light (120) is arranged horizontally, the first side indicator light (130) can be arranged vertically.

[0107] This is to enable the user to distinguish between a turn signal and an emergency flasher by looking at the shape of the lights.

[0108] At this time, the color of the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130) may be displayed in a single color such as yellow.

[0109] In the above, an example of displaying the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130) in yellow color was given, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and various implementations are possible, such as displaying them in different colors as described below.

[0110] A side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention may be characterized by having different colors for the first emergency light (120) and the first side turn signal light (130).

[0111] For example, if the first emergency light (120) is displayed in red, the first side turn signal light (130) can be displayed in yellow.

[0112] In the above, an example was given of displaying the first emergency light (120) in red and the first side indicator light (130) in yellow, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and various implementations using various colors such as blue, green, white, and daylight color are possible as long as the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130) can be displayed in different colors.

[0113] The colors of the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130) can be implemented as the color of the lamp (300) itself, or the color of the lamp (300) can be the same (e.g., daylight color) and implemented by using different colors of the covers (110, 210).

[0114] If the color of the lamp (300) itself is changed, an RGB LED can be used as the lamp (300).

[0115] As illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 9, a side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention may be characterized by having different shapes of the first emergency light (120) and the first side turn signal light (130).

[0116] For example, if the first emergency light (120) is displayed in an oval shape with a longer vertical direction, the first side turn signal light (130) can be displayed in an oval shape with a longer horizontal direction. (See Fig. 6)

[0117] Alternatively, if the first emergency light (120) is displayed in an isosceles triangle shape rather than an equilateral triangle, the first side turn signal light (130) may be displayed in an equilateral triangle shape. (See Fig. 9)

[0118] In addition, if the first emergency light (120) is displayed in a circular shape, the first side turn signal light (130) can be displayed in a directional shape (arrow, bracket (<, >) shape, etc.).

[0119] Alternatively, if the first emergency light (120) is displayed in the shape of a triangle (△) pointing upward, the first unilateral turn signal light (130) may be displayed in the shape of a triangle (◁, ▷) pointing to the left or right.

[0120] Although several examples of different shapes of the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130) are given above, the present invention is not limited thereto, and various implementations using various shapes are possible as long as the first emergency light (120) and the first side indicator light (130) can be displayed in different shapes.

[0121] Next, we will explain an example of installation and use on both sides of a vehicle.

[0122] That is, lamp ASSYs that can distinguish between emergency lights and turn signals can be installed and used on the left and right sides of the vehicle, respectively.

[0123] In Korea, for example, bus-only lanes are typically located in the far right lane, but in some cases, such as on highways, they are located in the far left lane. In other words, depending on the section, bus-only lanes can be located on either the left or right lane.

[0124] Therefore, it is desirable to install lamp ASSYs on both sides that can distinguish between emergency lights and turn signals.

[0125] As illustrated in FIG. 11, a side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a second lamp housing (200), a second emergency light (220), and a first side signal light (230).

[0126] The second lamp housing (200) is equipped with a second cover (210) that allows light to pass through, and is attached to the other side of the vehicle.

[0127] The above second lamp housing (200) is attached and fixed to one side of the vehicle.

[0128] Here, one side refers to the left side or the right side.

[0129] The second cover (210) is made of a light-transmitting material so that the light from the lamp provided inside the second lamp housing (200) is irradiated to the outside.

[0130] The second emergency light (220) is installed inside the second lamp housing (200) and is activated when the vehicle's emergency flashing display function is activated.

[0131] The above second emergency light (220) is activated when the vehicle's emergency flashing display function is activated.

[0132] The control of the above second emergency light (220) is generally provided in the form of a button or the like in front of the driver's seat, and in the case of a button, the vehicle's emergency flashing display function can be activated by pressing the button.

[0133] Here, the second emergency light (220) can be implemented in various ways as long as it can be operated with a single signal, such as by being composed of a single lighting fixture and a cover capable of displaying a specific shape, or by being composed of multiple LEDs arranged in a specific shape.

[0134] The first side turn signal lamp (230) is provided inside the second lamp housing (200) and is operated when the vehicle's side turn signal display function is activated.

[0135] The above first side turn signal (230) is operated when the vehicle's side turn signal display function is activated.

[0136] Control of the turn signal is generally possible by operating the turn signal switch or turn signal operating lever located next to the steering wheel (usually on the left) on the driver's seat, and the vehicle's turn signal can be operated by operating the switch or operating lever.

[0137] At this time, the first turn signal (230) may be a left turn signal or a right turn signal.

[0138] That is, if installed on the left side of the vehicle, the first side turn signal (230) becomes a left turn signal, and if installed on the right side of the vehicle, the first side turn signal (230) becomes a right turn signal.

[0139] Here, the first side turn signal (230) can be implemented in various ways as long as it can be operated with a single signal, such as by being configured with a single light fixture and a cover capable of displaying a specific shape, or by being configured with multiple LEDs arranged in a specific shape.

[0140] A side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention may be characterized by having a diffusion lens (500) that adjusts the light diffusion angle in the direction in which the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) irradiate light.

[0141] The above diffusion lens (500) is a lens that adjusts the diffusion angle of light, and the above diffusion lens (500) can be installed in various ways, such as by installing it in each lamp of the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230), by installing it in a specific lamp group unit, or by installing it in an integrated manner so that all lamps are covered.

[0142] In addition, the diffusion lens (500) may be provided between the second emergency light (220), the first side indicator light (230), or the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) and the second cover (210).

[0143] Alternatively, the diffusion lens (500) may be provided on the second cover (210).

[0144] In general, the blind spot of a vehicle based on the side mirror is approximately 45 to 90 degrees horizontally from the side of the vehicle, so the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) are directed at approximately 65 to 70 degrees horizontally from the side of the vehicle, and the diffusion angle is adjusted with a diffusion lens (500) to prevent glare.

[0145] The above diffusion lens (500) includes a plurality of microlenses or a plurality of Fresnel lenses distributed on one surface of a light-transmitting substrate, and a portion of the plurality of microlenses or the plurality of Fresnel lenses may be configured to gradually increase or decrease in height from the center of the substrate toward the outer edge.

[0146] The substrate may be a transparent material that allows light to pass through, such as glass or a transparent plastic film or sheet, or in some cases, an opaque material suitable for the application.

[0147] A plurality of microlenses or a plurality of Fresnel lenses may be formed integrally with the substrate, but is not limited thereto, and may be manufactured separately from the substrate and then joined by various methods such as bonding or pressing. When using a synthetic resin system, the microlenses can be manufactured by injection molding, pressing, 2P, or thermosetting methods, and when using a glass system, lead-free and transfer methods can be used.

[0148] The size and angle of the pattern of multiple microlenses or multiple Fresnel lenses can be adjusted depending on the size and shape of the light source, the distance between the light-emitting element and the lens, and the assembly form.

[0149] Additionally, the plurality of microlenses or the plurality of Fresnel lenses may be of the same material as the substrate, but are not limited thereto, and may be of different materials that transmit light.

[0150] A plurality of microlenses or a plurality of Fresnel lenses serve to diffuse light incident on the bottom surface of the substrate into a wide angle.

[0151] The plurality of microlenses have a roughly spherical or ellipsoidal shape, and one cross-section may have a circular or elliptical shape.

[0152] The plurality of microlenses or the plurality of Fresnel lenses may have a shape in which the height gradually increases or decreases from the center of the substrate to the periphery.

[0153] As illustrated in FIG. 11, a side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention may be characterized in that one of the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) is arranged horizontally, and the other is arranged vertically.

[0154] For example, if the second emergency light (220) is arranged vertically, the first side indicator light (230) can be arranged horizontally.

[0155] Alternatively, if the second emergency light (220) is arranged horizontally, the first side indicator light (230) can be arranged vertically.

[0156] This is to enable the user to distinguish between a turn signal and an emergency flasher by looking at the shape of the lights.

[0157] At this time, the color of the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) may be displayed in a single color such as yellow.

[0158] In the above, an example of displaying the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) in yellow color was given, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and various implementations are possible, such as displaying them in different colors as described below.

[0159] A side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention may be characterized by having different colors for the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230).

[0160] For example, if the second emergency light (220) is displayed in red, the first side turn signal light (230) can be displayed in yellow.

[0161] In the above, an example was given of displaying the second emergency light (220) in red and the first side indicator light (230) in yellow, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and various implementations using various colors such as blue, green, white, and daylight are possible as long as the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) can be displayed in different colors.

[0162] The colors of the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) can be implemented as the color of the lamp (300) itself, or the color of the lamp (300) can be the same (e.g., daylight color) and implemented by using different colors for the covers (110, 210).

[0163] If the color of the lamp (300) itself is changed, an RGB LED can be used as the lamp (300).

[0164] A side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention may be characterized by having different shapes of the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230).

[0165] For example, if the second emergency light (220) is displayed in a triangular shape, the first side indicator light (230) can be displayed in a circular arrow shape.

[0166] Alternatively, if the second emergency light (220) is displayed in a circular shape, the first side indicator light (230) may be displayed in a directional shape (arrow, bracket (<, >) shape, etc.).

[0167] Alternatively, if the second emergency light (220) is displayed in the shape of a triangle (△) pointing upward, the first side turn signal light (230) may be displayed in the shape of a triangle (◁, ▷) pointing to the left or right.

[0168] Although several examples of different shapes of the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) are given above, the present invention is not limited thereto, and various implementations using various shapes are possible as long as the second emergency light (220) and the first side indicator light (230) can be displayed in different shapes.

[0169] As illustrated in FIG. 3 and FIG. 11, the side-mounted blind spot warning light according to one embodiment of the present invention may be installed with a conventional left turn signal light (A), a conventional right turn signal light (B), or a conventional left turn signal light (A) and a conventional right turn signal light (B).

[0170] The conventional left turn signal (A) is activated when the left turn signal display function of the vehicle is activated or the emergency flashing display function of the vehicle is activated.

[0171] The conventional right turn signal (B) is activated when the vehicle's right turn signal display function is activated or the vehicle's emergency flasher display function is activated.

[0172] The colors of the conventional turn signals (A, B) and the colors of the emergency lights (120, 220) and single-side turn signals (130, 230) can be used the same, but they can also be used differently.

[0173] For example, the color of the conventional turn signal lights (A, B) may be yellow, and the color of the emergency light (120, 220) and the single turn signal lights (130, 230) may be red, or the color of the conventional turn signal lights (A, B) may be yellow, and the color of the emergency light (120, 220) and the single turn signal lights (130, 230) may be blue, and various other implementations are possible.

[0174] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and the scope of application is diverse, and various modifications can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention as claimed in the claims.
