[0104] The third indication information is used to indicate whether the terminal has a first report obtained by measuring according to the first configuration; relevant type information of the first configuration; priority information of the first configuration; and a report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0105] In some embodiments, when the first configuration information includes multiple pieces of information, the multiple pieces of information may be sent by the same first node, or may be sent by different first nodes.

[0106] In some embodiments, the related type information of the first configuration includes at least one of the following: the type of the first configuration; the type of wireless access technology corresponding to the first configuration; and the type of service corresponding to the first configuration.

[0107] In some embodiments, the first node sends query information of the first configuration to the second node.

[0108] In some embodiments, the query information of the first configuration is used by the second node to query query information from a third node.

[0109] In some embodiments, the second node queries the third node for at least one of: the first configuration, information about the first configuration.

[0110] In some embodiments, the third node and the first node are the same node, or the third node and the first node are different nodes.

[0111] In some embodiments, the query information of the first configuration includes at least one of the following: an identifier of the third node; absolute time information absoluteTimeInfo; a trace reference traceReference; a trace recording session reference traceRecordingSessionRef; and an identifier of a trace collection entity tce ID.

[0112] In some embodiments, the first node receives the first request sent by the second node, and sends the first configuration information to the second node.

[0113] In some embodiments, the information of the first configuration is sent to the second node together with related information of the first configuration, wherein the related information of the first configuration includes at least one of the following: the first configuration; an availability indication of the first configuration.

[0114] In some embodiments, the first node includes at least one of the following: a terminal; an access network device; a core network device; an operation, maintenance and management device.

[0115] In some embodiments, the second node includes at least one of the following: a current access network device of the terminal; a network device to which the first configuration is applicable.

[0116] Step S202: The second node determines whether to perform a first operation according to the first configuration information.

[0117] In some embodiments, the second node receives query information of the first configuration sent by the first node, wherein the query information of the first configuration is used by the second node to query at least one of the following from a third node: the first configuration, information of the first configuration.

[0118] In some embodiments, the second node sends a first request to the first node, wherein the first request is used to request the first node to send the first configured information to the second node.

[0119] In some embodiments, the second node records the information of the first configuration in the context of the terminal.

[0120] In some embodiments, the second node determines that the terminal moves from the second node to a fourth node.

[0121] In some embodiments, the second node sends the first configuration information to the fourth node, wherein the first configuration information is used by the fourth node to determine whether to perform the first operation.

[0122] The communication method involved in the embodiments of the present disclosure may include at least one of steps S201 and S202. For example, step S201 may be implemented as an independent embodiment, step S202 may be implemented as an independent embodiment, steps 1+3 may be implemented as an independent embodiment, and steps S201+S202 may be implemented as independent embodiments, but the present invention is not limited thereto.

[0123] In some embodiments, steps S201 and S202 may be performed in an interchangeable order or simultaneously.

[0124] In some embodiments, reference may be made to other optional implementations described before or after the description corresponding to FIG. 2 .

[0125] In some embodiments, the terminal may perform a measurement operation according to a configuration, where the measurement operation includes at least one of the following: Minimization Drive Test (MDT) and Self-Organized Networks (SON).

[0126] Taking the measurement operation including MDT as an example, in some embodiments, the MDT includes at least one of the following: immediate (Immediated) MDT and logged (logged) MDT.

[0127] In some embodiments, the logged MDT includes at least one of the following: signaling based logged MDT and management based logged MDT.

[0128] In some embodiments, the network device may send a new configuration to the terminal to overwrite an existing configuration in the terminal. For example, upon receiving the new configuration, the terminal may delete the existing configuration and a report obtained by performing measurements based on the existing configuration.

[0129] In some embodiments, the terminal can switch networks, for example, from a first radio access technology (Radio Access Technology) network to a second radio access technology network. In the case where the terminal does not support inter-RAT reporting, after the terminal obtains a report through measurement in the first radio access technology network, it cannot send the report to the network device in the second radio access technology network. For example, the report sent by the terminal to the network device in the second radio access technology network is empty. In this case, the network device in the second radio access technology network cannot determine the information of the first configuration, for example, it cannot determine whether the first configuration or the report obtained by measurement based on the first configuration exists in the terminal, which may cause technical problems in operations such as the network device in the second radio access technology network sending a new configuration to the terminal and retrieving a report. Report retrieval includes sending a report request to the terminal to request the terminal to report the report.

[0130] In a first aspect, an embodiment of the present disclosure provides an operation determination method. FIG3 is a schematic flow chart of an operation determination method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The operation determination method shown in this embodiment can be executed by a first node. As shown in FIG3, the operation determination method may include the following steps:

[0131] In step S301, first configuration information is sent to a second node, wherein the first configuration information is used by the second node to determine whether to perform a first operation.

[0132] It should be noted that the embodiment shown in FIG. 3 can be implemented independently or in combination with at least one other embodiment in the present disclosure. The specific selection can be made as needed and the present disclosure does not limit it.

[0133] In some embodiments, the first operation includes at least one of the following: sending the second configuration to the terminal; retrieving a first report corresponding to the first configuration, wherein the first report is a report obtained by measuring according to the first configuration.

[0134] In some embodiments, the first node may send information about the first configuration to the second node. Knowing the information about the first configuration, the second node may more accurately determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal to overwrite the first configuration in the terminal, and may also more accurately determine whether to retrieve a report corresponding to the first configuration. This helps avoid technical issues caused by the second node performing operations when it is uncertain about the first configuration.

[0135] For example, the information of the first configuration can be used to indicate (for example, through the third indication information in a subsequent embodiment) whether there is a first report obtained by measuring according to the first configuration in the terminal. When the second node is uncertain about the information of the first configuration, that is, when the second node is uncertain whether there is a first report obtained by measuring according to the first configuration in the terminal, when there is a first report obtained by measuring based on the first configuration in the terminal, if the second node sends the second configuration to the terminal, the terminal will delete the first configuration and the first report. If the terminal has not yet sent the first report to the network device, it will result in waste of the first report.

[0136] For example, the information of the first configuration can be used to indicate the type of the first configuration in the terminal. When the second node is uncertain about the information of the first configuration, that is, when the second node is uncertain about the type of the first configuration in the terminal, after the terminal obtains a first report based on the measurement of the first configuration of that type, the first report sent by the terminal to the second node can be empty. If the second node retrieves the first report corresponding to the first configuration multiple times, for example, by sending report requests to the terminal multiple times, it may not obtain a non-empty first report from the terminal, thereby wasting resources.

[0137] According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the first node sends the first configuration information to the second node, allowing the second node to determine the first configuration information. This helps the second node accurately determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal to overwrite the first configuration in the terminal, and can also more accurately determine whether to retrieve a report corresponding to the first configuration. This helps avoid technical problems caused by the second node performing operations when it is uncertain about the first configuration information.

[0138] For example, the information of the first configuration can be used to indicate whether a first report obtained by measuring according to the first configuration exists in the terminal. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, after determining the information of the first configuration, for example, determining that the first report obtained by measuring according to the first configuration exists in the terminal, the second node may not send the second configuration to the terminal, thereby avoiding waste caused by the terminal deleting the first configuration and the first report. In a further embodiment, the second node may also retrieve the first report corresponding to the first configuration, for example, by sending a report request to the terminal, so that the terminal sends the first report to the second node.

[0139] For example, the information of the first configuration can be used to indicate the type of the first configuration in the terminal. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the second node can determine the information of the first configuration, that is, the second node can determine the type of the first configuration in the terminal. Then, when it is determined that the first report obtained by the terminal to the second node based on the measurement of the first configuration of this type is an empty report, the second node does not need to retrieve the first report corresponding to the first configuration multiple times, which is conducive to avoiding waste of resources. In a further embodiment, the second node can also send a second configuration to the network device to overwrite the first configuration in the terminal, so that the second node can obtain the report obtained by the terminal based on the measurement of the second configuration in a timely manner.

[0140] In some embodiments, the first node includes at least one of the following:

[0141] terminal;

[0142] Access network equipment;

[0143] Core network equipment, also known as core network functions, such as the Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF);

[0144] Operation Administration and Maintenance (OAM) equipment.

[0145] In some embodiments, the second node includes at least one of the following:

[0146] The terminal's current access network device;

[0147] The network device to which the first configuration is applicable is, for example, a network device capable of performing at least one of the following operations: capable of sending the first configuration to the terminal, and capable of retrieving a report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0148] In some embodiments, the first node is a terminal, and the second node is a current access network device of the terminal. The terminal may send the first configuration information to the second node.

[0149] In some embodiments, the first node is a terminal. During the movement of the terminal, after the terminal switches to the second node, the first configuration information can be sent to the second node.

[0150] In some embodiments, the first node is a first access network device, and the second node is a second access network device. The first access network device may send the first configuration information to the second access network device. For example, the first access network device sends the first configuration information to the second access network device via an interface between the access network devices.

[0151] In some embodiments, the first node is an access network device, such as a source access network device to which the terminal connected before switching to the second node (for example, the terminal may be a connected terminal or an inactive terminal), and the second node is the terminal's current access network device. After determining that the terminal is switching to the second node, the source access network device may send information about the first configuration to the second node.

[0152] In some embodiments, the first node is a core network device, and the second node is an access network device. The core network device may send the first configuration information to the access network device.

[0153] In some embodiments, the first node is a core network device, and the second node is a current access network device of the terminal. Before the terminal switches to the second node, the source access network device has sent a first configuration to the terminal.

[0154] For example, the first node is a core network device in the network where the terminal is located before switching to the second node. During the terminal movement, after the core network device determines that the terminal has switched to the second node, the core network device can send the first configuration information to the second node, for example, it can be forwarded to the second node through the core network device in the network where the second node is located.

[0155] For example, the first node is a core network device in the network where the terminal is located after switching to the second node. During the terminal movement, when the core network device determines that the terminal has switched to the second node, the core network device can obtain the first configuration information from the core network device in the network where the terminal was located before switching to the second node, and then send the first configuration information to the second node.

[0156] In some embodiments, the first node is an OAM, the second node is an access network device, and the OAM may send the first configuration information to the access network device.

[0157] In some embodiments, the first node is an OAM, and the second node is a current access network device of the terminal. During the terminal movement process, after the OAM determines that the terminal is switching to the second node, the OAM may send the first configuration information to the second node.

[0158] In some embodiments, the information of the first configuration may be sent to the second node together with relevant information of the first configuration, wherein the relevant information of the first configuration includes at least one of the following: the first configuration; an availability indication of the first configuration.

[0159] For example, the first node may send a first configuration to the second node, and may include relevant information about the first configuration in the first configuration and send it to the second node. For example, the first node may send an availability indication of the first configuration to the second node, and send the information about the first configuration together with the availability indication of the first configuration to the second node.

[0160] In some embodiments, the first configuration information includes at least one of the following:

[0161] The first indication information is used to instruct the second node to send the second configuration to the terminal, or to retrieve a report corresponding to the first configuration;

[0162] The second indication information is used to indicate whether the first configuration exists in the terminal;

[0163] The third indication information is used to indicate whether the terminal has a first report obtained by measuring according to the first configuration;

[0164] Related type information of the first configuration;

[0165] priority information of the first configuration;

[0166] The report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0167] It should be noted that when the first configuration information includes multiple information, such as the above-mentioned first indication information, the second indication information, and the priority information of the first configuration, or the above-mentioned first indication information, the second indication information, and the third indication information, multiple information can be sent from the same first node to the second node, or can be sent from different first nodes to the second node.

[0168] In some embodiments, the first configuration information may include first indication information. The second node may directly determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal or retrieve a report corresponding to the first configuration based on the first indication information.

[0169] In some embodiments, the first configuration information may include second indication information, and the second node may determine whether the first configuration exists in the terminal based on the second indication information. After determining the first configuration information, for example, if the second node determines that the first configuration exists in the terminal based on the second indication information, it may not send the second configuration to the terminal, thereby avoiding waste caused by the terminal deleting the first configuration.

[0170] In some embodiments, the second configuration information may include third indication information, and the second node may determine whether the terminal has a first report obtained by measurement according to the first configuration based on the third indication information. After determining the information of the first configuration, for example, if the second node determines that the terminal has a first report obtained by measurement according to the first configuration based on the third indication information, it may not send the second configuration to the terminal, thereby avoiding waste caused by the terminal deleting the first report. In a further embodiment, the second node may also retrieve the first report corresponding to the first configuration, for example, by sending a report request to the terminal, so that the terminal sends the first report to the second node.

[0171] The following provides exemplary descriptions of the first configuration information including the report corresponding to the first configuration through several embodiments.

[0172] In some embodiments, the information of the first configuration includes a report corresponding to the first configuration, for example, the report may be a report obtained by the terminal performing a measurement operation according to the first configuration, wherein the report may be a non-empty report or an empty report.

[0173] After receiving the report corresponding to the first configuration, the second node may determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal to cover the first configuration in the terminal, and determine whether to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration according to the report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0174] For example, when the report corresponding to the first configuration is a non-empty report, the second node can determine that the report corresponding to the first configuration has been successfully received. Then, there is no need to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration, but the second configuration can be sent to the terminal, and the terminal can continue the measurement operation according to the second configuration.

[0175] For example, when the report corresponding to the first configuration is an empty report, the second node may determine that the report corresponding to the first configuration has not been successfully received, and may continue to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration without sending the second configuration to the terminal for the time being.

[0176] It should be noted that, when the report corresponding to the first configuration is an empty report, the second node may also send the second configuration to the terminal.

[0177] For example, after the duration of sending the report request is greater than or equal to the first duration and / or the number of first operations is greater than or equal to the first number, the second node still cannot retrieve the first report sent by the terminal, for example, the first report is empty, the second node can send a second configuration to the terminal.

[0178] For example, the number of first operations includes at least one of the following: the number of times the second node sends a report request to the terminal; the number of times the terminal sends a first report to the second node, and the first report is empty (eg, continuously empty).

[0179] When the report corresponding to the first configuration is a report obtained by measuring in the NR network, and the second node is a node in the LTE network, and the terminal does not support inter-RAT reporting, then even if the second node continues to send report requests, the report corresponding to the first configuration received is an empty report. Therefore, when the number of times a report request is sent to the terminal is greater than or equal to one time, and / or the terminal sends a first report to the second node, and the number of times the first report is empty is greater than or equal to one time, the second node can stop sending report requests to the terminal and send the second configuration to the terminal, which is beneficial to avoid the waste of resources caused by the second node continuing to send report requests. The first number can be, for example, agreed upon by the protocol or configured by the first node.

[0180] When the report corresponding to the first configuration is a report obtained by measuring in the NR network, and the second node is a node in the LTE network, and the terminal does not support inter-RAT reporting, then even if the second node sends a report request multiple times, the report corresponding to the first configuration received is an empty report. Therefore, when the duration of sending the report request (for example, the moment when the second node first sends a report request to the terminal as the starting point of the duration) is greater than or equal to the first duration, the second node can stop sending the report request to the terminal and send the second configuration to the terminal, which is beneficial to avoid the waste of resources caused by the second node continuing to send the report request. Among them, the first duration can be, for example, agreed upon by the protocol or configured by the first node.

[0181] The following provides exemplary descriptions of the first configuration information including the priority information of the first configuration through several embodiments.

[0182] In some embodiments, the information of the first configuration includes priority information of the first configuration. For example, the priority information of the first configuration may only indicate the priority of the first configuration, or the priority information of the first configuration may indicate the priority of the first configuration and the priorities of other configurations.

[0183] After the second node receives the priority information of the first configuration, it can determine the relationship between the priority of the first configuration and the priority of the second configuration based on the priority information of the first configuration, and then determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal and whether to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration based on the relationship.

[0184] For example, the priority information of the first configuration is only used to indicate the priority of the first configuration. When the second node determines that the priority of the first configuration is high based on the priority information of the first configuration, it can be determined that the priority of the first configuration is higher than the priority of the second configuration, thereby retrieving the report corresponding to the first configuration. Optionally, the second node may not send the second configuration to the terminal. When the second node determines that the priority of the first configuration is low based on the priority information of the first configuration, it can be determined that the priority of the first configuration is lower than the priority of the second configuration, thereby sending the second configuration to the terminal. Optionally, the second node may not retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0185] For example, the priority information of the first configuration is used to indicate the priority of the first configuration and the priorities of other configurations. When the second node determines the relationship between the priority of the first configuration and the priority of the second configuration based on the priority information of the first configuration, it can determine. For example, the priority information of the first configuration includes a priority relationship table of different types of configurations. For example, the relationship table is used to indicate that the priority of signaling-based logged MDT is higher than the priority of management-based logged MDT.

[0186] When the second node determines that the first configuration is signaling based logged MDT and the second configuration is management based logged MDT, the second node can determine that the priority of the first configuration is higher than the priority of the second configuration, thereby retrieving the report corresponding to the first configuration. Optionally, the second node may not send the second configuration to the terminal.

[0187] When the second node determines that the first configuration is management based logged MDT and the second configuration is signaling based logged MDT, the second node can determine the priority of the first configuration higher than the priority of the second configuration, thereby sending the second configuration to the terminal. Optionally, the second node may not retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0188] It should be noted that when the second node determines that the priority of the first configuration is the same as the priority of the second configuration, whether to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration and whether to send the second configuration to the terminal can be determined based on implementation.

[0189] The following provides exemplary descriptions of the first configuration information including the related type information of the first configuration through several embodiments.

[0190] In some embodiments, the first configuration information includes relevant type information of the first configuration. For example, the relevant type information of the first configuration includes at least one of the following:

[0191] the type of the first configuration;

[0192] The type of radio access technology corresponding to the first configuration;

[0193] The type of service corresponding to the first configuration.

[0194] In some embodiments, taking the measurement operation corresponding to the first configuration including MDT as an example, the type of the first configuration includes at least one of the following: Immediated MDT, logged MDT, signaling based logged MDT, and management based logged MDT.

[0195] In some embodiments, the radio access technology corresponding to the first configuration may include the radio access technology of the network in which the network device that sends the first configuration to the terminal is located, for example, including at least one of the following: Long Term Evolution (LTE) and New Radio (NR). Of course, it may also include radio access technologies corresponding to communication systems such as 2G, 3G, and 6G, which will not be further described in this disclosure.

[0196] In some embodiments, taking the measurement operation corresponding to the first configuration including MDT as an example, MDT can be performed for a service, and the service targeted by MDT can be the service corresponding to the first configuration. For example, the type of service includes but is not limited to at least one of the following: Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communications (URLLC), Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), Massive Machine Type Communication (mMTC), voice communication, video communication, and text communication.

[0197] In some embodiments, taking the example that the relevant type information of the first configuration includes the type of the first configuration, based on the information of the first configuration, when the second node determines that the type of the first configuration is the first type, it can retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration. Optionally, the second node may not send the second configuration to the terminal; and when the type of the first configuration is a type other than the first type, the second configuration can be sent to the terminal. Optionally, the second node may not retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0198] For example, the first type is signaling based logged MDT. Based on the information of the first configuration, when the second node determines that the type of the first configuration is signaling based logged MDT, the second node may retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration, for example, send a report request to the terminal, requesting the terminal to send the report corresponding to the first configuration to the second node. Optionally, the second node may not send the second configuration to the terminal. Based on the information of the first configuration, when the second node determines that the type of the first configuration is a type other than signaling based logged MDT, for example, management based logged MDT, the second node may send the second configuration to the terminal to cover the report corresponding to the first configuration in the terminal. The terminal may perform MDT according to the second configuration. Optionally, the second node may not retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0199] In some embodiments, sending the first configuration information to the second node includes: receiving a first request sent by the second node, and sending the first configuration information to the second node.

[0200] The second node may send a first request to the first node to request the first node to send first configuration information to the second node.

[0201] The first node can send the first configuration information to the second node only after receiving the first request. Accordingly, it is beneficial to send the first configuration information to the second node only when it is determined that the second node needs the first configuration information. When it is not determined that the second node needs the first configuration information, it is not necessary to send the first configuration information to the second node, which is beneficial to avoid waste of resources.

[0202] In some embodiments, the second node sending the first request to the first node may be sending the first request to the first node when determining that the terminal already has the first configuration. For example, the terminal may send an availability indication of the first configuration to the second node. The second node determines, based on the availability indication of the first configuration, that the terminal already has the first configuration and that the first configuration is available, and then sends the first request to the first node, requesting the first node to send information about the first configuration to the second node.

[0203] In some embodiments, the second node sends the first request to the first node, which may be after the duration of sending the report request is greater than or equal to the first duration and / or the number of the first operation is greater than or equal to the first number, and then sends the first request to the first node. For the embodiment after the duration of sending the report request is greater than or equal to the first duration and / or the number of the first operation is greater than or equal to the first number, you can refer to the previous example and will not elaborate on it here. For example, the second node can record the number of the first operation. When the number of the first operation is greater than or equal to the first number, even if the second node continues to send the report request, the report corresponding to the first configuration received is likely to be an empty report. Therefore, the second node can send the first request to the first node, and determine whether to continue sending the report request to the terminal based on the information of the first configuration, or determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal to cover the first configuration.

[0204] FIG4 is a schematic flow chart of another operation determination method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The method shown in this embodiment can be performed by the first node. As shown in FIG4, the operation determination method further includes:

[0205] In step S401, query information of the first configuration is sent to the second node, wherein the query information of the first configuration is used by the second node to query at least one of the following from the third node: the first configuration, information of the first configuration.

[0206] It should be noted that the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 can be implemented independently or in combination with at least one other embodiment in the present disclosure. The specific selection can be made as needed and the present disclosure does not limit it.

[0207] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the second node can query the first configuration, information about the first configuration, etc. from the third node based on the query information of the first configuration, which is conducive to improving the flexibility of the second node in obtaining the first configuration, information about the first configuration, etc.

[0208] In some embodiments, the third node and the first node are the same node, or the third node and the first node are different nodes.

[0209] When the third node and the first node are different nodes, the third node may be at least one network device among the network devices to which the first configuration is applicable.

[0210] In some embodiments, the first node may send query information of the first configuration to the second node. The second node may determine a third node based on the query information of the first configuration and query at least one of the following from the third node: the first configuration, information of the first configuration.

[0211] For example, when the second node queries the first configuration from the third node, the second node can determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal based on the first configuration and the second configuration, and can also determine whether to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration. For example, the second node can determine the types of the first configuration and the second configuration, and determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal based on the relationship between the types, and can also determine whether to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration. For example, when the second node determines that the type of the first configuration is signaling based logged MDT and the type of the second configuration is management based logged MDT, the report corresponding to the first configuration can be retrieved, and optionally, the second node may not send the second configuration to the terminal; when the second node determines that the type of the first configuration is management based logged MDT and the type of the second configuration is signaling based logged MDT, the second configuration can be sent to the terminal, and optionally, the second node may not retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0212] For example, when a second node queries a third node for information about a first configuration, the second node may determine, based on the second configuration information, whether to send the second configuration to the terminal or retrieve a report corresponding to the first configuration. For example, the first configuration information includes first indication information instructing the second node to send the second configuration to the terminal. Based on the first indication information, the second node may send the second configuration to the terminal, or alternatively, the second node may not send the second configuration to the terminal.

[0213] For example, when the second node queries the first configuration and information about the first configuration from the third node, the second node may determine, based on the information about the first configuration and the second configuration, whether to send the second configuration to the terminal or retrieve a report corresponding to the first configuration. For example, if the information about the first configuration includes priority information of the first configuration, and the second node determines that the priority of the first configuration is high based on the priority information of the first configuration, then the second node may determine that the priority of the first configuration is higher than the priority of the second configuration, thereby retrieving a report corresponding to the first configuration. Optionally, the second node may not send the second configuration to the terminal.

[0214] In some embodiments, the query information of the first configuration includes at least one of the following:

[0215] The identifier of the third node;

[0216] Absolute time information absoluteTimeInfo;

[0217] Trace reference traceReference;

[0218] traceRecordingSessionRef

[0219] TCE ID of the trace collection entity. TCE stands for Trace Collection Entity.

[0220] For example, the query information of the first configuration includes the identifier of the third node, and the second node can directly determine the third node according to the identifier of the third node.

[0221] For example, the query information of the first configuration includes path information of the third node, such as at least one of the above-mentioned absoluteTimeInfo, traceReference, traceRecordingSessionRef, and tce ID. The terminal can also determine the third node according to the path information.

[0222] In a second aspect, an embodiment of the present disclosure proposes an operation determination method. FIG5 is a schematic flow chart of an operation determination method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The operation determination method shown in this embodiment can be executed by the second node. As shown in FIG5, the operation determination method includes:

[0223] In step S501, first configuration information sent by a first node is received, wherein the first configuration information is used by a second node to determine whether to perform a first operation.

[0224] It should be noted that the embodiment shown in FIG. 5 can be implemented independently or in combination with at least one other embodiment in the present disclosure. The specific selection can be made as needed and the present disclosure does not limit it.

[0225] In some embodiments, the first operation includes at least one of the following: sending the second configuration to the terminal, or retrieving a report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0226] In some embodiments, the second node may receive information about the first configuration sent by the first node. Knowing the information about the first configuration, the second node may more accurately determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal to overwrite the first configuration in the terminal, and may also more accurately determine whether to retrieve a report corresponding to the first configuration. This helps avoid technical issues caused by the second node performing operations when uncertain about the first configuration.

[0227] For example, the information of the first configuration can be used to indicate whether there is a first report obtained by measuring according to the first configuration in the terminal.

[0228] For example, the information of the first configuration can be used to indicate the type of the first configuration in the terminal.

[0229] According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the second node can receive the first configuration information from the first node, allowing the second node to determine the first configuration information.

[0230] In some embodiments, the first node includes at least one of the following:

[0231] terminal;

[0232] Access network equipment;

[0233] Core network equipment, also known as core network functions, such as the Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF);

[0234] Operation Administration and Maintenance (OAM) equipment.

[0235] In some embodiments, the second node includes at least one of the following:

[0236] The terminal's current access network device;

[0237] The network device to which the first configuration is applicable is, for example, a network device capable of performing at least one of the following operations: capable of sending the first configuration to the terminal, and capable of retrieving a report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0238] In some embodiments, the first node is a terminal, and the second node is a current access network device of the terminal. During the terminal movement process, after the terminal switches to the second node, the first configuration information can be sent to the second node.

[0239] In some embodiments, the first node is an access network device, such as a source access network device to which the terminal connected before switching to the second node (for example, the terminal may be a connected terminal or an inactive terminal), and the second node is the terminal's current access network device. After determining that the terminal is switching to the second node, the source access network device may send information about the first configuration to the second node.

[0240] In some embodiments, the first node is a core network device, and the second node is a current access network device of the terminal. Before the terminal switches to the second node, the source access network device has sent a first configuration to the terminal.

[0241] For example, the first node is a core network device in the network where the terminal is located before switching to the second node. During the movement of the terminal, after the core network device determines that the terminal has switched to the second node, the core network device can send the first configuration information to the second node. For example, it can be forwarded to the second node through the core network device in the network where the second node is located, and the second node can receive the first configuration information from the core network.

[0242] For example, the first node is a core network device in the network where the terminal is located after switching to the second node. During the terminal movement, when the core network device determines that the terminal has switched to the second node, the core network device can obtain the first configuration information from the core network device in the network where the terminal was located before switching to the second node, and then send the first configuration information to the second node. The second node can receive the first configuration information from the core network.

[0243] In some embodiments, the first node is an OAM, and the second node is a current access network device of the terminal. During the terminal movement process, after the OAM determines that the terminal is switching to the second node, the OAM can send the first configuration information to the second node, and the second node can receive the first configuration information from the OAM.

[0244] In some embodiments, the information of the first configuration may be sent to the second node together with relevant information of the first configuration, wherein the relevant information of the first configuration includes at least one of the following: the first configuration; an availability indication of the first configuration.

[0245] For example, the first node may send a first configuration to the second node, and may include relevant information about the first configuration in the first configuration and send it to the second node. For example, the first node may send an availability indication of the first configuration to the second node, and send the information about the first configuration together with the availability indication of the first configuration to the second node.

[0246] In some embodiments, the first configuration information includes at least one of the following:

[0247] The first indication information is used to instruct the second node to send the second configuration to the terminal, or to retrieve a report corresponding to the first configuration;

[0248] The second indication information is used to indicate whether the first configuration exists in the terminal;

[0249] The third indication information is used to indicate whether the terminal has a first report obtained by measuring according to the first configuration;

[0250] Related type information of the first configuration;

[0251] priority information of the first configuration;

[0252] The report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0253] In some embodiments, the first configuration information may include first indication information. The second node may directly determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal or retrieve a report corresponding to the first configuration based on the first indication information.

[0254] In some embodiments, the first configuration information may include second indication information, and the second node may determine whether the first configuration exists in the terminal based on the second indication information. After determining the first configuration information, for example, if the second node determines that the first configuration exists in the terminal based on the second indication information, it may not send the second configuration to the terminal, thereby avoiding waste caused by the terminal deleting the first configuration.

[0255] In some embodiments, the second configuration information may include third indication information, and the second node may determine whether the terminal has a first report obtained by measurement according to the first configuration based on the third indication information.

[0256] The following provides exemplary descriptions of the information of the first configuration including the report corresponding to the first configuration through several embodiments.

[0257] In some embodiments, the information of the first configuration includes a report corresponding to the first configuration, for example, the report may be a report obtained by the terminal performing a measurement operation according to the first configuration, wherein the report may be a non-empty report or an empty report.

[0258] After receiving the report corresponding to the first configuration, the second node may determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal to cover the first configuration in the terminal, and determine whether to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration according to the report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0259] For example, when the report corresponding to the first configuration is a non-empty report, the second node can determine that the report corresponding to the first configuration has been successfully received. Then, there is no need to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration, but the second configuration can be sent to the terminal, and the terminal can continue the measurement operation according to the second configuration.

[0260] For example, when the report corresponding to the first configuration is an empty report, the second node may determine that the report corresponding to the first configuration has not been successfully received, and may continue to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration without sending the second configuration to the terminal for the time being.

[0261] It should be noted that, when the report corresponding to the first configuration is an empty report, the second node may also send the second configuration to the terminal.

[0262] For example, after the duration of sending the report request is greater than or equal to the first duration and / or the number of first operations is greater than or equal to the first number, the second node still cannot retrieve the first report sent by the terminal, for example, the first report is empty, the second node can send a second configuration to the terminal.

[0263] For example, the number of first operations includes at least one of the following: the number of times the second node sends a report request to the terminal; the number of times the terminal sends a first report to the second node, and the first report is empty (eg, continuously empty).

[0264] When the report corresponding to the first configuration is a report obtained by measuring in the NR network, and the second node is a node in the LTE network, and the terminal does not support inter-RAT reporting, then even if the second node continues to send report requests, the report corresponding to the first configuration received is an empty report.

[0265] When the report corresponding to the first configuration is a report obtained by measuring in the NR network, and the second node is a node in the LTE network, and the terminal does not support inter-RAT reporting, then even if the second node sends a report request multiple times, the report corresponding to the first configuration received is an empty report.

[0266] The following provides exemplary descriptions of the first configuration information including the priority information of the first configuration through several embodiments.

[0267] In some embodiments, the information of the first configuration includes priority information of the first configuration. For example, the priority information of the first configuration may only indicate the priority of the first configuration, or the priority information of the first configuration may indicate the priority of the first configuration and the priorities of other configurations.

[0268] After the second node receives the priority information of the first configuration, it can determine the relationship between the priority of the first configuration and the priority of the second configuration based on the priority information of the first configuration, and then determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal and whether to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration based on the relationship.

[0269] For example, the priority information of the first configuration is only used to indicate the priority of the first configuration.

[0270] For example, the priority information of the first configuration is used to indicate the priority of the first configuration and the priorities of other configurations.

[0271] When the second node determines that the first configuration is signaling based logged MDT and the second configuration is management based logged MDT, the second node can determine that the priority of the first configuration is higher than the priority of the second configuration, thereby retrieving the report corresponding to the first configuration. Optionally, the second node may not send the second configuration to the terminal.

[0272] When the second node determines that the first configuration is management based logged MDT and the second configuration is signaling based logged MDT, the second node can determine the priority of the first configuration higher than the priority of the second configuration, thereby sending the second configuration to the terminal. Optionally, the second node may not retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0273] It should be noted that when the second node determines that the priority of the first configuration is the same as the priority of the second configuration, whether to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration and whether to send the second configuration to the terminal can be determined based on implementation.

[0274] The following provides exemplary descriptions of the first configuration information including the related type information of the first configuration through several embodiments.

[0275] In some embodiments, the relevant type information of the first configuration includes at least one of the following:

[0276] the type of the first configuration;

[0277] The type of radio access technology corresponding to the first configuration;

[0278] The type of service corresponding to the first configuration.

[0279] In some embodiments, taking the measurement operation corresponding to the first configuration including MDT as an example, the type of the first configuration includes at least one of the following: Immediated MDT, logged MDT, signaling based logged MDT, and management based logged MDT.

[0280] In some embodiments, the radio access technology corresponding to the first configuration may include the radio access technology of the network in which the network device that sends the first configuration to the terminal is located, for example, including at least one of the following: Long Term Evolution (LTE) and New Radio (NR). Of course, it may also include radio access technologies corresponding to communication systems such as 2G, 3G, and 6G, which will not be further described in this disclosure.

[0281] In some embodiments, taking the measurement operation corresponding to the first configuration including MDT as an example, MDT can be performed for a service, and the service targeted by MDT can be the service corresponding to the first configuration. For example, the type of service includes but is not limited to at least one of the following: low latency and high reliability communication (URLLC), enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), massive machine type communication (mMTC), voice communication, video communication, and text communication.

[0282] In some embodiments, taking the example that the relevant type information of the first configuration includes the type of the first configuration, based on the information of the first configuration, when the second node determines that the type of the first configuration is the first type, it can retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration. Optionally, the second node may not send the second configuration to the terminal; and when the type of the first configuration is a type other than the first type, the second configuration can be sent to the terminal. Optionally, the second node may not retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0283] For example, the first type is signaling based logged MDT.

[0284] In some embodiments, the operation determination further includes: sending a first request to the first node, wherein the first request is used to request the first node to send first configuration information to the second node.

[0285] The second node may send a first request to the first node to request the first node to send first configuration information to the second node.

[0286] The first node can send the first configuration information to the second node only after receiving the first request. Accordingly, it is beneficial to send the first configuration information to the second node only when it is determined that the second node needs the first configuration information. When it is not determined that the second node needs the first configuration information, it is not necessary to send the first configuration information to the second node, which is beneficial to avoid waste of resources.

[0287] In some embodiments, the second node sending the first request to the first node may be sending the first request to the first node when determining that the terminal already has the first configuration. For example, the terminal may send an availability indication of the first configuration to the second node. The second node determines, based on the availability indication of the first configuration, that the terminal already has the first configuration and that the first configuration is available, and then sends the first request to the first node, requesting the first node to send information about the first configuration to the second node.

[0288] In some embodiments, the second node sends the first request to the first node, which may be after the duration of sending the report request is greater than or equal to the first duration and / or the number of the first operation is greater than or equal to the first number, and then sends the first request to the first node.

[0289] FIG6 is a schematic flow chart of another operation determination method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The method shown in this embodiment can be performed by the second node. As shown in FIG6, the operation determination method further includes:

[0290] In step S601, query information of a first configuration sent by a first node is received, wherein the query information of the first configuration is used by a second node to query at least one of the following from a third node: the first configuration, information of the first configuration.

[0291] It should be noted that the embodiment shown in FIG. 6 can be implemented independently or in combination with at least one other embodiment in the present disclosure. The specific selection can be made as needed and the present disclosure does not limit it.

[0292] In some embodiments, the third node and the first node are the same node, or the third node and the first node are different nodes.

[0293] When the third node and the first node are different nodes, the third node may be at least one network device among the network devices to which the first configuration is applicable.

[0294] In some embodiments, the second node can receive query information of the first configuration sent by the first node. The second node can determine the third node based on the query information of the first configuration, and query at least one of the following from the third node: the first configuration, information of the first configuration.

[0295] For example, when the second node queries the first configuration from the third node, the second node can determine whether to send the second configuration to the terminal based on the first configuration and the second configuration, and can also determine whether to retrieve the report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0296] For example, when a second node queries a third node for information about a first configuration, the second node may determine, based on the second configuration information, whether to send the second configuration to the terminal or retrieve a report corresponding to the first configuration. For example, the first configuration information includes first indication information instructing the second node to send the second configuration to the terminal. Based on the first indication information, the second node may send the second configuration to the terminal, or alternatively, the second node may not send the second configuration to the terminal.

[0297] For example, when the second node queries the first configuration and information about the first configuration from the third node, the second node may determine, based on the information about the first configuration and the second configuration, whether to send the second configuration to the terminal or retrieve a report corresponding to the first configuration.

[0298] In some embodiments, the query information of the first configuration includes at least one of the following:

[0299] The identifier of the third node;

[0300] Absolute time information absoluteTimeInfo;

[0301] Trace reference traceReference;

[0302] traceRecordingSessionRef

[0303] The identifier of the trace collection entity, tce ID.

[0304] For example, the query information of the first configuration includes the identifier of the third node, and the second node can directly determine the third node according to the identifier of the third node.

[0305] For example, the query information of the first configuration includes path information of the third node, such as at least one of the above-mentioned absoluteTimeInfo, traceReference, traceRecordingSessionRef, and tce ID. The terminal can also determine the third node according to the path information.

[0306] FIG7 is a schematic flow chart of another operation determination method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The method shown in this embodiment can be performed by the second node. As shown in FIG7, the operation determination method further includes:

[0307] In step S701, it is determined that the terminal moves from the second node to the fourth node (any node other than the second node), and the first configuration information is sent to the fourth node, wherein the first configuration information is used by the fourth node to determine whether to perform the first operation.

[0308] In some embodiments, the operation determination method further includes: recording information of the first configuration in the context of the terminal.

[0309] For example, after receiving the first configuration information, the second node may record the first configuration information in the context of the terminal. When the second node determines that the terminal has moved from the second node to a fourth node, for example, the terminal has connected to the fourth node, the second node may send the first configuration information to the fourth node, and the fourth node may then determine whether to perform the first operation based on the first configuration information. This facilitates the acquisition of the first configuration information by the fourth node to which the terminal has newly connected.
