Abstract
Description
Deck sorting device
[0001] The present invention relates to a deck sorting device.
[0002] In card games, a deck is a general term for a 52-card deck. This deck consists of cards in four suits—hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs—without jokers, and is shuffled by a dealer or a shuffling machine before use.
[0003] For example, depending on the card game, pinochle sometimes includes a joker card in the deck, but traditional card games like poker rarely use it. Furthermore, games like baccarat typically use eight decks, or a total of 416 cards.
[0004] These decks are used after being shuffled by the dealer or a shuffling machine, and when a card game begins, the dealer takes cards from the deck and distributes them to the players, etc., and the players who receive the cards often squeeze them during the process of checking the cards, damaging them. Meanwhile, the deck after the game is completed is discarded as is, and this deck includes cards that have been squeezed by the hands of players etc. and cards that have not been squeezed. For reference, cards that have not been squeezed include cards that are left over and cards that have only been in the dealer's hand, and in the deck after the game is completed, these unsqueezed cards account for approximately 60% or more.
[0005] However, even though unsqueezed cards are clean and reusable, without any bends or creases, discarding them along with squeezed cards can result in economic and environmental losses. For example, game operators face financial losses due to having to discard and repurchase reusable cards. Environmentally, this can lead to resource waste and pollution.

[0026] According to an embodiment of the present invention, a deck sorting device includes a support unit, a card input unit, a card transfer unit, a photographing unit, and a card sorting unit, wherein the card sorting unit is provided on the other side of the support unit and provides a technical configuration for judging whether a card photographed by the photographing unit is a required card required to form a deck or a non-required card that is not required, and classifying the required cards and non-required cards, so that one deck can be formed by classifying required cards required to form a deck and non-required cards that are not required, and through such classification, cards that are not squeezed can be formed into one or more decks and reused.
[0027] In addition, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the card sorting unit provides a technical configuration including a sorting drive unit, a settling unit, a sorting box, and a sorting control unit, so that the sorting box settling in the settling unit can be moved by the sorting drive unit, and when a card photographed through a photographing unit is determined to be a request card by the sorting control unit, the sorting control unit drives the sorting drive unit so that the request card is accommodated in the request card receiving unit of the sorting box, so that the request card receiving unit is placed at the discharge end of the card transport unit, and when a card photographed through a photographing unit is determined to be a non-requested card by the sorting control unit, the sorting control unit drives the sorting drive unit so that the non-requested card receiving unit of the sorting box is accommodated in the non-requested card receiving unit, so that the non-requested card receiving unit is placed at the discharge end of the card transport unit, so that the request cards constituting the deck can be accurately sorted in such a manner that the request cards are accommodated in the request card receiving unit of the sorting box, and the non-requested cards are accommodated in the non-requested card receiving unit of the sorting box.
[0028] In addition, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the card sorting unit provides a technical configuration further including a shooting trigger sensor and a card waiting sensor, so that when a card conveyed through the card conveying unit is detected by the shooting trigger sensor, the sorting control unit (e.g., the shooting control unit) can receive this sensing value and drive the shooting unit, and when a card conveyed continuously by the card conveying unit is detected by the card waiting sensor, the sorting control unit (e.g., the transport drive control unit) can receive this sensing value and determine whether movement of the sorting box is required before being accommodated in either the request card receiving unit or the non-request card receiving unit, and if movement of the sorting box is required, the card conveying unit can be stopped to be placed in a waiting state.
[0029] In addition, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the classification control unit provides a technical configuration including a shooting control unit, an image determination unit, and a classification drive control unit, so that when a sensing value is received from a shooting trigger sensor, the shooting control unit can drive the shooting unit, when an image of a photographed card is received, the image determination unit can determine whether it is an image of a requested card, and when information on a requested card or a non-requested card is received, the classification drive control unit can drive the classification drive unit to adjust the position of the classification box.

[0046]
[0047] A deck sorting device (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a support unit (110), a card input unit (120), a card transport unit (130), a photographing unit (140), and a card sorting unit (150), as illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 8. Hereinafter, each component will be described in detail with continued reference to FIGS. 1 to 8.
[0048] The support member (110) is a component forming the skeleton of the deck sorting device (100) of the present invention. As illustrated in Fig. 1, the support member (110) may be formed by combining a vertical frame (111) and a horizontal frame (112).
[0049] The card input section (120) is a component for inputting multiple cards (not shown). This card input section (120) may be provided on one side (left side) of the support section (110), as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2.
[0050] The card transfer unit (130) is a component for transferring cards (see 10 in FIG. 8) one by one from the card input unit (120) to the other side (right side) of the support unit (110). As illustrated in FIG. 1, this card transfer unit (130) may be provided across the support unit (110) from one side (left side) to the other side (right side).
[0051] The photographing unit (140) is a component for photographing an image of a card (see 10 in FIG. 8). This photographing unit (140) may be provided above the card transport unit (130) among the support units (110), as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 3. Furthermore, the photographing unit (140) may also be provided below the card transport unit (130) among the support units (110), as illustrated in FIG. 1. Accordingly, in order to inspect both sides of the card (10), images of both sides of the card (10) can be photographed through the photographing units (140) respectively positioned above and below.
[0052] The card sorting unit (150) is a component that determines whether a card (10) photographed by the photographing unit (140) is a required card required to form a deck or an unrequired card, and classifies the required cards and unrequired cards. This card sorting unit (150) may be provided on the other side (right side) of the support unit (110), as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 3 .
[0053] Therefore, since the above components are provided, a deck can be constructed by classifying the required cards for forming a deck from the non-required cards, and through this classification, the cards that are not squeezed can be reused by forming one or more decks. For reference, a deck refers to a group of cards containing cards of the suit and number required for a card game. One deck contains 52 cards, and in games such as baccarat, eight decks, or a group of 416 cards in total, are typically used, so eight decks can be constructed using the deck classification device of the present invention.
[0054]
[0055] Hereinafter, the card sorting unit (150) will be described in more detail with reference again to FIGS. 1, 3 to 6.
[0056] The card sorting unit (150) may include a sorting driving unit (151), a settling unit (152), a sorting box (153), and a sorting control unit (154), as shown in FIGS. 1, 3, and 6.
[0057] The sorting drive unit (151) may be provided on the other side (right side) of the support unit (110) as illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5, for example, and may provide a moving force in the up-and-down direction. In another example, not illustrated, it may also provide a moving force in the left-right direction. The mounting unit (152) may be moved up-and-down by the sorting drive unit (151) as illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5, for example, where the sorting box (153) is mounted. In another example, not illustrated, it may also be moved left-right by the sorting drive unit. The classification box (153) can be detachably mounted on the mounting portion (152) as illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5, for example, and is provided with a request card receiving portion (153a) for receiving a request card and a non-request card receiving portion (153b) for receiving a non-request card, and may be arranged sequentially from bottom to top, or, as another example not illustrated, may be arranged sequentially from left to right (or right to left). The classification control unit (154) determines whether the card photographed by the photographing unit (140) is a request card or a non-requested card, and if it is determined to be a request card, it drives the classification drive unit (151) so that the request card is accommodated in the request card receiving unit (153a) of the classification box (153) so that the request card receiving unit (153a) is placed at the discharge end of the card transport unit (130), and if it is determined to be a non-requested card, it drives the classification drive unit (151) so that the non-requested card is accommodated in the non-requested card receiving unit (153b) of the classification box (153) so that the non-requested card receiving unit (153b) is placed at the discharge end of the card transport unit (130). Here, the classification control unit (154) may be implemented with one or more microprocessors in which such control operations are set.
[0058] Accordingly, the sorting box (153) mounted on the mounting portion (152) can be driven by the sorting drive portion (151), and when the card photographed through the photographing portion (140) is judged as a request card by the sorting control portion (154), the sorting control portion (154) drives the sorting drive portion (151) so that the request card is accommodated in the request card receiving portion (153a) of the sorting box (153), so that the request card receiving portion (153a) is placed at the discharge end of the card transport portion (130), and when the card photographed through the photographing portion (140) is judged as a non-request card by the sorting control portion (154), the sorting control portion (154) drives the sorting drive portion (151) so that the non-request card is accommodated in the non-request card receiving portion (153b) of the sorting box (153), so that the non-request card is placed at the discharge end of the card transport portion (130). The receiving section (153b) can be placed so that the requested cards are received in the requested card receiving section (153a) of the sorting box (153) and the non-requested cards are received in the non-requested card receiving section (153b) of the sorting box (153), so that the requested cards that make up the deck can be accurately classified.
[0059] Here, the sorting drive unit (151) may include a sorting drive motor (151a), a sorting drive timing pulley (151b), a sorting driven timing pulley (151c), and a sorting timing belt (151d), as illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5. The sorting drive motor (151a) may be fixed to the other side (right) of the support unit (110). The sorting drive timing pulley (151b) may be axially coupled to the sorting drive motor (151a) to receive rotational force. The sorting driven timing pulley (151c) may be rotatably provided on the support unit (110) at a distance from the sorting drive timing pulley (151b). The sorting timing belt (151d) may connect between the sorting drive timing pulley (151b) and the sorting driven timing pulley (151c), and may have a mounting member fixed thereto so as to move together.
[0060] In addition, the card sorting unit (150) may further include a shooting trigger sensor (155) and a card waiting sensor (156), as shown in FIGS. 1, 3, and 6.
[0061] The trigger sensor (155) for shooting can be provided above or below the card transport section (130) among the support sections (110), and can send a trigger signal to the classification control section (154) so that the card (see 10 in FIG. 8) transported through the card transport section (130) can be photographed by the shooting section (140) when it reaches the shooting section. The card waiting sensor (156) can be provided above the exit side of the card transport section (130) among the support sections (110), and can send a waiting signal to the classification control section (154) when the card transported by the card transport section (130) reaches the exit side of the card transport section (130). Accordingly, when a card transported through the card transport unit (130) is detected by the shooting trigger sensor (155), the classification control unit (154) [e.g., the shooting control unit (154a)] can receive this sensing value and drive the shooting unit (140), and when the card transported through the card transport unit (130) is detected by the card standby sensor (156), the classification control unit (154) [e.g., the transport drive control unit (154d)] can receive this sensing value and determine whether movement of the sorting box (153) is required before being received in either the request card receiving unit (153a) or the non-request card receiving unit (153b), and if movement of the sorting box (153) is required, the card transport unit (130) can be stopped to be placed in a standby state. For example, to elaborate on the relationship between the card waiting sensor (156) and the sorting control unit (154), when a card that has been photographed by the photographing unit (140) and has already been detected as a request card by the sorting control unit (154) is detected by the card waiting sensor (156), the sorting control unit (154) first checks the position of the request card receiving unit (153a) of the sorting box (153) through the sorting drive unit (151), and if it is determined that the position of the request card receiving unit (153a) is at a position where the request card can be received, the card transport unit (130) is continuously driven to control the card to be discharged to the request card receiving unit (153a). However, if it is determined that the position of the non-request card receiving unit (153b) other than the request card receiving unit (153a) is at a position where the request card can be received, the sorting control unit controls the sorting drive unit (151) so that the request card receiving unit (153a) is placed at a position where the request card can be received, and the request card The operation of the card transport unit (130) can be stopped during the time it takes for the position of the receiving unit (153a) to move.
[0062] Hereinafter, with reference to FIG. 6, the classification control unit (154) will be described in more detail.
[0063] The classification control unit (154) may include a shooting control unit (154a), an image judgment unit (154b), and a classification drive control unit (154c), as illustrated in FIG. 6. The shooting control unit (154a) may receive a sensing value from a shooting trigger sensor (155) and drive the shooting unit (140). The image judgment unit (154b) may receive an image of a card captured by the shooting unit (140) and determine whether it is an image of a requested card. The classification drive control unit (154c) may drive the classification drive unit (151) depending on whether the card determined by the image judgment unit (154b) is a requested card or a non-requested card.
[0064] Accordingly, when a sensing value is received from a shooting trigger sensor (155), the shooting control unit (154a) can drive the shooting unit (140), when an image of a photographed card is received, the image determination unit (154b) can determine whether it is an image of a requested card, and when information on a requested card or a non-requested card is received, the classification drive control unit (154c) can drive the classification drive unit (151) to adjust the upper and lower positions of the classification box (153) as described above.
[0065] Furthermore, the classification control unit (154) may further include a transport drive control unit (154d) as illustrated in Fig. 6. When a card transported by the card transport unit (130) is detected by the card waiting sensor (156), the transport drive control unit (154d) determines whether movement of the sorting box (153) is required before the card is received in either the request card receiving unit (153a) or the non-request card receiving unit (153b), and if movement of the sorting box (153) is required, the card transport unit (130) may be stopped so that the card transport unit (130) is placed in a standby state.
[0066] In addition, the classification control unit (154) may further include a card stacking compliance control unit (154e) as illustrated in FIG. 6. The card stacking compliance control unit (154e) may control the sorting drive unit (151) to gradually move the sorting box (153) downwards in accordance with the number of request cards stacked in the request card receiving unit (153a) so that the request card transported by the card transport unit (130) is placed directly above the uppermost request card among the request cards already accommodated in the request card receiving unit (153a). Therefore, the height difference between the request card immediately before being accommodated and the card already accommodated can be appropriately maintained, thereby preventing the phenomenon in which the request card immediately before being accommodated is flipped over while being accommodated in the request card receiving unit (153a) of the sorting box (153).
[0067] Hereinafter, the fixing portion (152) will be described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5.
[0068] The mounting portion (152) may include a fixed bracket (152a), a vertical mounting plate (152b), and a horizontal mounting plate (152c), as illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5 . The fixed bracket (152a) may have one end fixed to the sorting timing belt (151d) so as to move together with the sorting timing belt (151d). The vertical mounting plate (152b) may be provided at the other end of the fixed bracket (152a), may be perpendicular to the ground, and may support the side of the sorting box (153). The horizontal mounting plate (152c) may be provided at the lower end of the vertical mounting plate (152b), may be horizontal to the ground, and may support the lower surface of the sorting box (153).
[0069] Furthermore, the mounting portion (152) may further include a box-attaching magnet (152d) as illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5. The box-attaching magnet (152d) may be provided on the vertical mounting plate (152b) and may detachably attach the side of the sorting box (153) to the vertical mounting plate by magnetic force. Accordingly, when the request card receiving portion (153a) of the sorting box (153) is filled with all request cards to form one deck, only the sorting box (153) can be easily and quickly removed from the mounting portion (152) through the box-attaching magnet (152d), and ultimately, it may be easy to move the cards of the sorting box (153) to a card box (not illustrated) provided externally.
[0070]
[0071] Hereinafter, the card transfer unit (130) will be described in more detail with reference to FIG. 1, FIG. 7, and FIG. 8.
[0072] The card transport unit (130) may include a transport drive motor (131), a first roller (132), a second roller (133), a third roller (134), and a power transmission unit (135), as illustrated in FIGS. 1, 7, and 8. The transport drive motor (131) may be provided on the support unit (110). The first roller (132) may be rotatably provided on the support unit (110), the second roller (133) may be rotatably provided on the support unit (110) at a distance from the first roller (132) in the transport direction of the card (10), and the third roller (134) may be rotatably provided on the support unit (110) at a distance from the second roller (133) in the transport direction of the card (10). The power transmission unit (135) can transmit the rotational power of the transport drive motor (131) to the first, second, and third rollers (132)(133)(134).
[0073] Here, the power transmission unit (135) may include a driving timing pulley for transfer (135a), a first driven timing pulley for transfer (135b), a second driven timing pulley for transfer (135c), a third driven timing pulley for transfer (135d), and a timing belt for transfer (135e), as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 7. The driving timing pulley for transfer (135a) may be axially coupled to the driving motor for transfer (131). The first driven timing pulley for transfer (135b) may be axially coupled to the first roller (132), the second driven timing pulley for transfer (135c) may be axially coupled to the second roller (133), and the third driven timing pulley for transfer (135d) may be axially coupled to the third roller (134). The transmission timing belt (135e) can transmit the power of the transmission drive timing pulley (135a) to the first, second, and third transmission driven timing pulleys (135b) (135c) (135d). For reference, the drawing reference numeral "T10" is a tension pulley for applying tension to the classification timing belt (151d).
[0074] In particular, as illustrated in FIG. 7, the outer diameter (D1) of the first transport driven timing pulley (135b) may be designed to be larger than the outer diameter (D2) of the second transport driven timing pulley (135c), and the outer diameter (D2) of the second transport driven timing pulley (135c) may be designed to be larger than the outer diameter (D3) of the third transport driven timing pulley (135d). Accordingly, while a plurality of cards are transported along the first, second, and third rollers (132)(133)(134), the gap between the front card and the back card may gradually widen due to the difference in the outer diameters of the arranged timing pulleys, thereby preventing the cards from overlapping each other, thereby preventing a shooting error through the shooting unit or an acceptance error into the sorting box (153).
[0075] In addition, the card transfer unit (130) may further include a transfer guide unit (136) that guides the transfer of the cart (10), as illustrated in FIG. 8.
[0076] The transport guide (136) may include a lower transport guide (136a) and an upper transport guide (136b), as illustrated in FIG. 8. The lower transport guide (136a) may be provided on the support (110) and may have a through hole (not illustrated) through which the second and third rollers (133) (134) pass. The upper transport guide (136b) may be provided with a vertical distance from the lower transport guide (136a) and may have first and second corresponding rollers (R11) (R12) corresponding to the second and third rollers (133) (134), respectively, and may form a movement path of the card (10) between it and the lower transport guide (136a). Accordingly, a passage for the card (10) to move can be formed between the lower transport guide (136a) and the upper transport guide (136b), thereby preventing the card (10) from bouncing off or being lost during transport. Furthermore, the lower transport guide (136a) and the upper transport guide (136b) can have a plate shape and can be made of a transparent material so that the card (10) passing between them can be photographed by the photographing unit (140).
[0077] In addition, the transport guide (136) may further include an upper and lower detachable part (137) for attaching and detaching the upper transport guide (136b) to and from the lower transport guide (136a), as illustrated in FIG. 8. Specifically, the upper and lower detachable part (137) may be a magnet (137a) for attaching and detaching magnetically. Accordingly, when a card moving between the lower transport guide (136a) and the upper transport guide (136b) becomes jammed, the upper transport guide (136b) can be quickly and easily detached through the magnet (137a) for attaching and detaching, thereby quickly removing the jammed card.
[0078]
[0079] Hereinafter, the card insertion portion (120) will be described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.
[0080] The card input unit (120) may include a card loading unit (121) and a card pressing unit (122), as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2. The card loading unit (121) may be provided on one side (left) of the support unit (110), and a plurality of cards (not illustrated) may be placed thereon. The card pressing unit (122) may press a plurality of cards loaded in the card loading unit (121) from top to bottom. Accordingly, sufficient friction may be generated on the first roller (132) of the card transport unit (130) described above, and the cards may be smoothly transported according to the rotation of the first roller (132).
[0081] For example, the card pressing unit (122) may include a pressing drive motor (122a), a pressing drive timing pulley (122b), a pressing driven timing pulley (122c), and a pressing timing belt (122d), as illustrated in FIG. 2. The pressing drive motor (122a) may be fixed to one side (left) of the support unit (110). The pressing drive timing pulley (122b) may be axially coupled to the pressing drive motor (122a). The pressing driven timing pulley (122c) may be rotatably provided on the support unit (110) with a vertical gap from the pressing drive timing pulley (122b), and the pressing timing belt (122d) may be connected between the pressing drive timing pulley (122b) and the pressing driven timing pulley (122c). The pressing pad may be fixed to a pressing timing belt (122d) and may press the card according to the movement of the pressing timing belt (122d). As another example, although not shown, the card pressing portion may utilize the power of a motor, the elasticity of an elastic body, gravity, etc.
