[0003] However, for the majority of smartphone users (e.g., office workers, self-employed people, etc.), call recording is essential, but since smartphones do not provide a call recording function, users are having to come up with complicated and inconvenient countermeasures on their own.
[0004] For example, smartphone users without a recording function, such as iPhone users, often record calls using a separate recorder while using the speakerphone function. Alternatively, they may use third-party apps or call recorders to record calls.
[0005] As such, there is a steady demand for call recording apps or products, but many user reviews of existing call recording apps or products are complaining about inconvenient usability or unsatisfactory design.
[0006] As a prior art related to the present invention, there is Republic of Korea Utility Model Publication No. 20-2019-0001823 (hereinafter, "prior document"), which discloses a recording terminal combined with a communication terminal. However, the recording terminal disclosed in the prior document has a complex structure for connecting and connecting to a mobile phone, making it difficult to install.
[0007] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a smartphone recorder that can improve the convenience and increase the satisfaction of users who use smartphones (e.g., iPhones) that do not have a call recording function.
[0008] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a smartphone recorder having a structure that can be easily attached and detached without using a complex attachment structure to a smartphone (e.g., an iPhone) that does not have a call recording function.
[0009] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a smartphone recorder having a high-quality call recording function without compromising the aesthetic appeal of the design when attached to a smartphone.
[0010] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a smartphone recorder capable of miniaturization in size and weight, and capable of realizing improved and superior sound quality by providing a wide frequency response, low noise, low distortion, and a high signal-to-noise ratio in terms of performance.
[0011] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a smartphone recorder that can independently receive incoming and outgoing sounds from optimally positioned input sections, thereby having an effective structure for detecting incoming sound signals and outgoing sound signals.
[0012] The objectives of the present invention are not limited to those mentioned above. Other objectives and advantages of the present invention not mentioned above can be understood through the following description and will be more clearly understood through the embodiments of the present invention. Furthermore, it will be readily apparent that the objectives and advantages of the present invention can be realized by the means and combinations thereof set forth in the claims.
[0013] According to one embodiment of the present invention, a smartphone recorder comprises: a case body including a front cover detachable from the back of a smartphone; and a rear case coupled to the rear of the front cover and having an accommodation space inside; a magnet that magnetically attaches the front cover to the back of the smartphone; an input unit that receives voice information during a call of the smartphone; and a recording unit that records the voice information input to the input unit; wherein the input unit includes a microphone that detects a voice information signal during a call of the smartphone.
[0014] As one embodiment of the present invention, the microphone includes at least one MEMS microphone (MEMS MIC).
[0015] In another embodiment of the present invention, the input unit may further include a piezoelectric sensor that receives voice information during a call as vibration data. The piezoelectric sensor may be in close contact with the inner surface of the front cover when the front cover is attached to the rear of the smartphone, and may receive voice information during a call transmitted through the rear of the smartphone as vibration data. In this case, the recording unit may receive the vibration data input from the piezoelectric sensor, convert it into voice data, and collect it.
[0016] In a smartphone recorder according to one embodiment of the present invention, the input unit includes a first MEMS microphone that detects a signal of an incoming sound among the voice information during the call; and a second MEMS microphone that detects a signal of a calling sound among the voice information during the call.
[0017] In a smartphone recorder according to one embodiment of the present invention, the first MEMS microphone may be positioned close to the upper end of the case body within the receiving space of the case body so as to be close to the receiving unit of the smartphone.
[0018] In a smartphone recorder according to one embodiment of the present invention, the first MEMS microphone includes: a first main MEMS microphone that detects a signal of a received sound among voice information during a call; and a first sub MEMS microphone that is positioned close to the first main MEMS microphone at a set distance to the left and right, and detects a signal of a received sound independently of the first main MEMS microphone, thereby correcting a signal deviation of the received sound.
[0019] In a smartphone recorder according to one embodiment of the present invention, the second MEMS microphone may be placed close to the bottom of the case body within the receiving space of the case body so as to be close to the transmitter of the smartphone.
[0020] In a smartphone recorder according to one embodiment of the present invention, the second MEMS microphone includes a second main MEMS microphone that detects a signal of a dial tone among voice information during a call; and a second sub MEMS microphone that is positioned close to the second main MEMS microphone at a set distance vertically and independently from the second main MEMS microphone and detects a signal of a dial tone to correct signal deviation of the dial tone.
[0021] In a smartphone recorder according to one embodiment of the present invention, the recording unit includes a circuit board portion located inside the receiving space and having a recording circuit that receives a signal of an incoming sound detected by the first MEMS microphone and a signal of an outgoing sound detected by the second MEMS microphone and records them as voice data; a switch portion electrically connected to the circuit board portion and turning a recording operation on / off; a communication terminal electrically connected to the circuit board portion; and a data storage portion that stores the voice data recorded in the circuit board portion.
[0022] Preferably, the front cover may be formed with an opening hole extending in the thickness direction corresponding to the positions of the first MEMS microphone and the second MEMS microphone. The signal detector performance of the incoming sound and the outgoing sound may be improved through the opening hole. In addition, the first MEMS microphone and the second MEMS microphone may be mounted on the circuit board portion, and may be positioned with a gap portion having a predetermined height between the opening hole and the first MEMS microphone. In addition, a pad having a hollow portion communicating with the opening hole and sealing the periphery of the opening hole may be further provided within the gap portion. Accordingly, the sealing effect around the opening hole may be improved. In addition, a mesh portion may be further provided between the pad and the opening hole to prevent dust from entering. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent foreign matter such as external dust from entering the circuit board portion through the opening hole.
[0023] A smartphone recorder according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a battery located inside the receiving space and supplying power to the input unit and the recording unit; and a feedback unit electrically connected to the circuit board unit and providing feedback on a recording operation and a charging status of the battery.
[0024] In a smartphone recorder according to one embodiment of the present invention, the communication terminal may be positioned at the center of the lower part of the rear case, and the feedback unit may be positioned to be exposed to the outside at a set distance from the communication terminal.
[0025] In a smartphone recorder according to one embodiment of the present invention, the magnet includes a first magnet positioned on an upper portion of the front cover; and a second magnet positioned on a lower portion of the front cover. The first magnet may be attached to an upper portion of an outer surface of the front cover and may have a ring shape, and the second magnet may be attached to a lower portion of an outer surface of the front cover and may have a bar shape.
[0026] In a smartphone recorder according to another embodiment of the present invention, the magnet includes a first magnet positioned at an upper portion of the receiving space; and a second magnet positioned at a lower portion of the receiving space. The first magnet may be in close contact with an upper portion of the inner surface of the front cover and may have a ring shape, and the second magnet may be in close contact with a lower portion of the inner surface of the front cover and may have a bar shape.
[0027] In addition, in a smartphone recorder according to one embodiment of the present invention, the front cover may further include a metal sheet portion that accommodates the first magnet and the second magnet. Preferably, the front cover is made of a plastic material, and the metal sheet portion may be made of a metal material. For example, the metal sheet portion may be made of a stainless steel (e.g., STS 430, etc.) material. As an example, when molding the front cover, the metal sheet portion may be insert-molded using an insert mold. Accordingly, the material may be kept as light as possible while supporting the magnet with high rigidity, thereby improving durability.
[0028] The switch section can be slid in the setting direction to turn recording operation on / off.
[0029] The switch unit may be installed at the upper end of one side of the circuit board unit, i.e., at the upper end of one side of the case body. For example, the switch unit may be located close to the upper right corner of the rear case.
[0030] Preferably, the switch portion may be configured as a slide button structure that slides diagonally and tilts close to the upper edge of the rear case and turns the recording operation on / off. Accordingly, the user can easily slide the switch of the smartphone recorder in a diagonal direction (W direction) even while holding the smartphone with one hand and talking to the other party. If the sliding direction of the slide button is in the left-right width direction of the rear case or the up-down length direction, it may be difficult to move the slide button with one finger, especially the index finger, while holding the smartphone with one hand, due to the joint structure. By arranging the slide button to be operated by sliding in a diagonal direction, the slide button can be easily pushed or pulled with the index finger, etc. without putting a strain on the joint, enabling a quick switch operation, and increasing the convenience of operation by not putting a strain on the joint.
[0031] In one embodiment of the smartphone recorder according to the present invention, the outer surface of the front cover of the case body may be formed flat. The outer surface of the front cover may adhere smoothly to the entire back of the smartphone. For example, the front cover may have a rectangular shape in which the vertical length is longer than the horizontal width.
[0032] In one embodiment of the present invention, a smartphone recorder includes a switch mounting hole in the rear case of the case body, through which a switch portion is mounted so as to be exposed to the outside. A predetermined step may be formed around the periphery of the switch mounting hole, and the step allows the user to easily press and slide the switch using their fingers, thereby improving the convenience of operating the switch. The switch mounting hole may have a shape corresponding to an inclined guide hole through which the slide button moves diagonally.
[0033] In addition, in a smartphone recorder according to one embodiment of the present invention, the switch portion may be formed such that a sliding button can move in a straight line in a left-right direction (i.e., horizontal direction) or an up-down direction (i.e., vertical direction) at at least one of the upper part, lower part, and side part of a case (e.g., rear case, etc.).
[0034] According to one embodiment of the present invention, a smartphone recorder comprises: a case body including a front cover detachable from the rear of a smartphone, and a rear case coupled to the rear of the front cover; a magnet attaching the front cover to the rear of the smartphone; an input unit for receiving voice information during a call of the smartphone; and a recording unit for recording the voice information input to the input unit; wherein the input unit includes at least one MEMS microphone for detecting a voice information signal during a call of the smartphone; and the at least one MEMS microphone may be disposed within a receiving space of the case body.
[0035] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the at least one MEMS microphone may be placed close to the top of the case body.
[0036] According to another embodiment of the present invention, the at least one MEMS microphone may be placed close to the bottom of the case body.
[0037] According to an embodiment of the present invention, user convenience can be improved by enabling easy attachment and detachment to a smartphone (e.g., iPhone, etc.) using a magnet without using a complex fastening structure.
[0038] In addition, according to an embodiment of the present invention, when attached to a smartphone (e.g., an iPhone, etc.), it is possible to feel a sense of design unity with the smartphone without detracting from the aesthetic appearance of the smartphone itself.
[0039] In addition, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the contents of a call can be recorded more accurately through various input means, for example, a MEMS MIC or a combination of a MEMS MIC and a piezo sensor, without damaging the operability of the smartphone by being attached to the back of the smartphone (e.g., an iPhone, etc.).
[0040] In addition, according to an embodiment of the present invention, compared to the existing ones, the size of the input unit that detects the signals of the incoming and outgoing sounds is reduced, and the weight is reduced, so that the overall product size can be implemented in a compact structure while being lightweight, which has the advantage of being possible. For example, by using a MEMS MIC, it has the advantage of being able to implement a more improved and superior sound quality by providing a wide frequency response, low noise, low distortion, and a high signal-to-noise ratio in terms of performance.
[0041] Furthermore, according to an embodiment of the present invention, considering the structure of the smartphone, microphones for detecting incoming and outgoing sounds can be independently positioned at optimal locations. For example, by providing multiple microphones, the signal for incoming sounds during a call is input through the microphone located at the top, and the signal for outgoing sounds during a call is input through the microphone located at the bottom, thereby increasing the accuracy of signal detection for incoming and outgoing sounds.

[0058] A smartphone recorder (10) according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a case body (100), a magnet (200), an input unit (e.g., MEMS microphone, piezo sensor, etc.) (300), and a recording unit (400).
[0059] The case body (100) includes a front cover (110) that can be detached from the back of the smartphone, and a rear case (120) that is attached to the rear of the front cover (110) and has a receiving space on the inside.
[0060] The magnet (200) serves to attach the front cover (110) to the back of the smartphone using magnetic force.
[0061] The input unit (300) receives voice information during a call from a smartphone. For example, the input unit (300) may include at least one MEMS microphone (350) that detects voice information during a call from the smartphone, i.e., incoming and outgoing sound signals.
[0062] At least one MEMS microphone may be placed within the receiving space of the case body (100), and according to a preferred embodiment, at least one MEMS microphone may be placed close to the top of the case body (100). However, this does not necessarily mean that the MEMS microphone is limited thereto, and depending on various conditions, at least one MEMS microphone may have a structure in which it is placed close to the bottom of the case body (100).
[0063] As another embodiment, the input unit (300) of the smartphone recorder (10) of the present invention may further include a piezoelectric sensor (not shown) that receives voice information during a call of the smartphone as vibration data together with at least one MEMS microphone (350).
[0064] In this way, the input unit (300) may be configured to include at least one MEMS microphone (350), preferably a first MEMS microphone (351) for an incoming sound signal detector and a second MEMS microphone (352) for an outgoing sound signal detector. However, although not separately illustrated, it may be interpreted that a configuration in which a piezo sensor, a general microphone, etc. are arranged at an optimal position together with at least one MEMS microphone (350) is included in the scope of the present invention.
[0065] The recording unit (400) can record voice information input into the input unit (300).
[0066] Hereinafter, a detailed description will be given of a structure in which an input unit (300) includes a plurality of MEMS microphones (350) in a smartphone recorder (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0067] [Detailed configuration of the case body]
[0068] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the case body (100) includes a front cover (110) that can be magnetically attached to the back of the smartphone, and a rear case (120) that is coupled to the rear of the front cover (110) and has a receiving space on the inside.
[0069] The front cover (110) refers to a rigid member that can be attached to the back of the smartphone.
[0070] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 4, the outer surface (111) of the front cover (100) can be formed flat. Accordingly, the outer surface (111) of the front cover (110) can be smoothly adhered to the back of the smartphone.
[0071] Additionally, the front cover (110) may have a rectangular shape in which the vertical length is longer than the horizontal width. However, the shape of the front cover (110) may be changed to various shapes corresponding to the shape of the rear surface of the smartphone, and is not necessarily limited to the shape and size illustrated.
[0072] In addition, the front cover (110) may be provided with first coupling protrusions (113) at the top and bottom, and second coupling protrusions (114) may be provided at both ends of the front cover (110). The front cover (110) may be easily coupled to the front of the rear case (120) using the first and second coupling protrusions (113, 114). In addition, a plurality of hooks (116) may be further provided on the inner surface edge portion of the front cover (110) and the edge portion of the rear case (110) to fix the assembled state of the PCB, i.e., the circuit board portion (410), and guide the assembly process, thereby simplifying the overall process.
[0073] Referring to FIGS. 6, 7, and 8, the inner surface of the front cover (110) is shown. As illustrated, the inner surface (112) of the front cover (110) may further include a metal sheet portion (115). The metal sheet portion (115) is a rigid member on which the first magnet (210) and the second magnet (220) are mounted and supported.
[0074] For example, the front cover (110) may be made of a plastic material, and the metal sheet portion (115) may be made of a metal material.
[0075] As a preferred example, the metal sheet portion (115) may be made of stainless steel (e.g., STS 430). The metal sheet portion (115) may be insert-molded using an insert mold when forming the front cover (110). Accordingly, while maintaining the overall lightness of the product itself, the rigidity of the portion where the first magnet (210) and the second magnet (220) are mounted can be further increased, thereby increasing durability.
[0076] The shape and structure of the metal sheet portion (115) can be appropriately changed depending on the shape and size of the first magnet (210) and the second magnet (220). In other words, the present invention is not necessarily limited to the shape and structure of the metal sheet portion (115) illustrated, and may have various other shapes and structures.
[0077] Additionally, a plurality of tapes (210a, 220a) can be used to attach and fix the first and second magnets (210, 220) to the metal sheet portion (115).
[0078] Meanwhile, according to one embodiment of the present invention, the front cover (110) may be provided with a plurality of opening holes (1101).
[0079] A plurality of opening holes (1101) are holes formed by penetrating the front cover (110) in the thickness direction corresponding to the positions of the input unit (300), more specifically, the plurality of MEMS microphones (350) constituting the input unit (300). Through these opening holes (1101), the signal detector performance of incoming and outgoing sounds can be further improved. A description of the opening holes (1101) will be described in detail in the description of Fig. 11.
[0080] The rear case (120) is coupled to the rear of the front cover (110) and may have a receiving space on the inside.
[0081] Additionally, the outer surface of the rear case (120) is provided with a switch mounting hole (125) for sliding operation of the switch (430).
[0082] The switch unit (430) is built into the internal storage space of the rear case (120) and can turn the recording operation on / off by sliding in an inclined direction (W) (see FIG. 10) from the top of the case body (100).
[0083] As a specific example, the switch unit (430) may be located at the upper side of the circuit board unit (410), i.e., at the upper right corner of the rear case (120).
[0084] The switch unit (430) is slidably operated diagonally, i.e., in the W direction (see FIG. 10), near the upper edge of the rear case (120), and may have a slide button structure that turns the recording operation on / off. Accordingly, a user can easily slide the switch of the smartphone recorder even while holding the smartphone with one hand and talking to the other party.
[0085] If the sliding direction of the switch unit (430) is in the left-right width direction (i.e., horizontal direction) or the up-down length direction (i.e., vertical direction) of the rear case (120), there may be a strain on the joint structure when moving the slide button using one finger (e.g., index finger, etc.) while holding the smartphone with one hand while attaching the smartphone recorder (10) to the rear of the smartphone.
[0086] According to one embodiment of the present invention, by forming the sliding operation direction of the switch unit (430) to be inclined in a diagonal direction rather than a horizontal or vertical direction, the recording operation can be easily operated without straining the joints using a finger such as the index finger while holding the smartphone in one hand during a call.
[0087] The switch mounting hole (125) is formed diagonally long through the thickness direction of the rear case (120), and exposes a part of the switch part (430) located inside the rear case (120) to the outside.
[0088] Preferably, a rounded, sunken step (126) may be formed on the outer edge of the switch mounting hole (125). The step (126) allows the user to easily press and slide the switch (430) using their fingers.
[0089] [Magnet details]
[0090] The magnet (200) serves to attach the front cover (110) to the back of the smartphone using magnetic force.
[0091] A magnet (200) is formed on the case body (100), particularly the front cover (110), so that the front cover (110) can be attached to the back of the smartphone using magnetic force.
[0092] For example, the magnet (200) includes a first magnet (210) positioned on the upper side of the front cover (110) and a second magnet (220) positioned on the lower side of the front cover (110).
[0093] The first magnet (210) is placed on the upper part of the front cover (110) and may have a ring shape.
[0094] The second magnet (220) is placed at the bottom of the front cover (110) and may have a bar shape that is formed long vertically.
[0095] According to embodiments of the present invention, the first and second magnets (210, 220) may be formed on the outer surface or inner surface of the front cover (110).
[0096] As an example, the first magnet (210) may be formed in a ring shape on the upper portion of the outer surface (111) of the front cover (110), and the second magnet (220) may be formed in a bar shape on the outer surface (111) of the front cover (110).
[0097] Additionally, as an example, the first magnet (210) may be formed in a ring shape on the upper part of the inner surface (112) of the front cover (110), and the second magnet (220) may be formed in a bar shape on the lower part of the inner surface (112) of the front cover (110).
[0098] According to embodiments of the present invention, the first and second magnets (210, 220) are located on the upper and lower sides of the front cover (110), and can attach and detach the case body (100) to the rear of the smartphone using magnetic force.
[0099] [Input section]
[0100] The input unit (300) receives voice information during a call on a smartphone.
[0101] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the input unit (300) includes at least one MEMS microphone (350).
[0102] The MEMS microphone (350) can detect signals of incoming and outgoing sounds, which are voice information during a call, when a user makes a call using a smartphone.
[0103] The MEMS microphone (350) has a smaller size compared to conventional general microphones or piezoelectric sensors, and thus has the advantage of being applicable to various numbers and arrangement structures in the internal storage space of a case body (100) that has been made smaller and thinner. In addition, the MEMS microphone (350) has the advantage of being lightweight, and in terms of performance, it provides a wide frequency response, low noise, low distortion, and a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), enabling improved and enhanced sound quality compared to piezoelectric sensors, and has an excellent advantage in terms of noise removal.
[0104] In addition, according to one embodiment of the present invention, the input unit (300) may further include a piezo sensor (not shown), a general microphone (not shown), etc., along with the aforementioned MEMS microphone (350). Here, although not separately illustrated, the piezo sensor preferably has a structure that is in close contact with the inner surface (112) of the front cover (110). When configured in this manner, the piezo sensor can accurately receive voice information transmitted during a call through the rear of the smartphone as vibration data.
[0105] Meanwhile, according to one embodiment of the present invention, the input unit (300) may be configured to include at least one MEMS microphone (350), and the input unit (300) may include a first MEMS microphone (351) that detects an incoming sound signal among voice information during a call, and a second MEMS microphone (352) that detects a dialing sound signal (see FIG. 9).
[0106] The first MEMS microphone (351) may be positioned close to the upper portion of the case body (100) within the receiving space of the case body (100) so as to be close to the receiving portion of the smartphone (see FIGS. 9 and 10 ). Here, the receiving portion of the smartphone is located at the upper front portion of the smartphone and refers to the area where the smartphone outputs the received sound.
[0107] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the first MEMS microphone (351) may be configured to include a first main MEMS microphone (3511) and a first sub MEMS microphone (3512).
[0108] The first main MEMS microphone (3511) may be located at the upper right corner of the case body (100) (see FIG. 10). The first main MEMS microphone (3511) corresponds to a MEMS microphone that detects a signal of a received sound among voice information during a call on a smartphone.
[0109] The first sub-mem microphone (3512) is located at the upper right corner of the case body (100), and can be positioned spaced apart from the first main mem microphone (3511) by a set distance to the left and right (see FIG. 10).
[0110] In this way, the first sub-MEMS microphone (3512) is positioned at different positions with a left and right gap from the first main MEMS microphone (3511), so that it can detect the signal of the received sound independently from the first main MEMS microphone (3511). Accordingly, the first sub-MEMS microphone (3512) detects the signal of the received sound independently from the first main MEMS microphone (3511), thereby correcting the signal deviation of the received sound, thereby performing the function of recording the received sound more accurately.
[0111] The second MEMS microphone (352) may be positioned close to the bottom of the case body (100) within the receiving space of the case body (100) so as to be close to the transmitter of the smartphone (see FIGS. 9 and 10). Here, the transmitter of the smartphone is located at the bottom front of the smartphone and refers to the area where the user's voice is input during a call.
[0112] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the second MEMS microphone (352) may be configured to include a second main MEMS microphone (3521) and a second sub MEMS microphone (3522).
[0113] The second main MEMS microphone (3521) may be located at the lower right corner of the case body (100) (see FIG. 10). The second main MEMS microphone (3521) corresponds to a MEMS microphone that detects a signal of a call tone among voice information during a call on a smartphone.
[0114] The second sub-mem microphone (3522) is located at the lower right corner of the case body (100), and can be positioned with a set distance vertically from the second main mem microphone (3521) (see FIG. 10).
[0115] In this way, the second sub-MEMS microphone (3522) is positioned at different positions with a vertical gap from the second main MEMS microphone (3521), so that it can detect a signal of a transmission tone independently from the second main MEMS microphone (3511). Accordingly, the second sub-MEMS microphone (3522) can detect a signal of a transmission tone independently from the second main MEMS microphone (3521) and correct a signal deviation of the transmission tone, thereby performing a recording function of the transmission tone more accurately.
[0116] Meanwhile, if necessary, the second MEMS microphone (352) may be omitted, leaving only the second main MEMS microphone (3521). However, the addition or omission of the sub MEMS microphone may be appropriately adjusted and implemented through product size and call signal detector performance tests.
[0117] According to another embodiment of the present invention, the input unit (300) may be configured to further include a piezo sensor (not shown) together with the aforementioned MEMS microphone (350). In addition, according to another embodiment of the present invention, the input unit (300) may be configured to further include not only the piezo sensor (not shown) together with the aforementioned MEMS microphone (350), but also various other commonly known microphone devices.
[0118] In addition, a smartphone recorder (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention may further have an opening hole (1101) formed in the front cover (110) corresponding to the position of the MEMS microphone (350).
[0119] For example, an opening hole (1101) may be formed in the front cover (110) in the thickness direction corresponding to the positions of the first MEMS microphone (351) and the second MEMS microphone (352). Through this opening hole (1101), the signal detector performance of the received sound and the transmitted sound may be improved.
[0120] Fig. 11 is a drawing showing a cross-sectional structure equipped with a MEMS microphone by enlarging the cross-section of the “11” area of Fig. 10.
[0121] Referring to Fig. 11, an enlarged cross-sectional structure where the first MEMS microphone (351) and the opening hole (1101) are located is shown.
[0122] The MEMS microphone, i.e., the first MEMS microphone (3511), is mounted on the circuit board portion (410), and can be positioned with an opening hole (1101) provided on the front cover (110) and a gap portion (380) of a predetermined height between them.
[0123] In addition, a pad (360) having a hollow (362) connected to the opening hole (1101) and having a ring-shaped pad body (361) sealing the periphery of the opening hole (1101) may be further provided within the gap portion (380).
[0124] The pad (360) seals the periphery of the opening hole (1101) except for the opening hole (1101). Accordingly, the received sound is transmitted through the opening hole (1101), and the first MEMS microphone (3511) can detect the received sound signal more accurately.
[0125] In addition, a mesh portion (370) may be further provided between the pad (360) and the opening hole (1101) to prevent dust from entering. The mesh portion (370) is a sheet member having a mesh structure with lattice-shaped micro-holes, and can prevent contamination by blocking the inflow of particles of a predetermined size, such as dust. As a result, foreign substances, such as external dust, from entering the circuit board portion (410) through the opening hole (1101) can be effectively blocked, while only the signal of the received sound can be accurately detected.
[0126] [Recording Department]
[0127] The recording unit (400) can record voice information input into the input unit (300).
[0128] The recording unit (400) includes a circuit board unit (410), a switch unit (430), a data storage unit (440), a battery (450), and a communication terminal (460).
[0129] The circuit board portion (410) can be assembled and fixed in a hook structure inside the receiving space of the case body (100), for example, the rear case (120).
[0130] The circuit board (410) may have a recording circuit that receives a signal of a received sound detected by the first MEMS microphone (351) and a signal of a transmitted sound detected by the second MEMS microphone (352) and records them as voice data.
[0131] The switch unit (430) is electrically connected to the circuit board unit (410) and can turn the recording operation on / off.
[0132] The data storage unit (440) can store voice data converted from the circuit board unit (410). For example, the data storage unit (440) can be used without limitation on any of various commonly known data storage media.
[0133] The battery (450) may be located inside the receiving space of the case body (100), particularly the rear case (120). The battery (450) may supply power to components that require power supply among the various components included in the smartphone recorder (10).
[0134] The communication terminal (460) may be electrically connected to the circuit board portion (410). The communication terminal (460) may be located at the center of the lower portion of the rear case (120). For example, the communication terminal (460) may utilize a communication terminal of various commonly known standards.
[0135] In addition, the recording unit (400) further includes a feedback unit (420). The feedback unit (420) may be electrically connected to the circuit board unit (410). The feedback unit (420) may provide feedback to the user regarding the recording operation and the battery charging status in various ways. For example, the feedback unit (420) may be configured in various forms to visually inform the user of the operating status of the smartphone recorder by emitting light in a set color to the outside of the case body (100) or by performing various light emitting operations, blinking operations, etc.
[0136] Meanwhile, the switch unit (430) is electrically connected to the circuit board unit (410) and turns the recording operation on / off, and can slide in the set direction.
[0137] The switch unit (430) can be installed on the upper side of one side of the circuit board unit (410). Accordingly, the user has the advantage of being able to easily slide and operate the switch unit (430) using one finger while the smartphone recorder (10) is attached to the back of the smartphone.
[0138] For example, the switch unit (430) may be positioned close to the upper right corner of the rear case (120) and configured to be able to slide in a diagonal direction (W) (see FIG. 10). The recording operation may be turned on / off according to the diagonal sliding movement of the switch unit (430). Accordingly, the user may easily push up or pull down the switch unit (430) located at the upper right of the smartphone recorder (10) in a diagonal direction while holding the smartphone with one hand and talking on the other party, thereby easily operating it without straining the joints.
[0139] In particular, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the switch unit (430) is not structured to operate the on / off of the recording operation in a push button manner, but is configured to slide the switch unit (430) by pushing or pulling it in a diagonal direction (W) (see FIG. 10).
[0140] Accordingly, it is possible to prevent an error in which the switch (430) is accidentally pressed against the user's intention and a recording operation is executed, and to improve malfunctions due to mistakes, thereby preventing unnecessary waste of batteries.
[0141] As described above, according to the configuration and operation of the present invention, user convenience can be improved by easily attaching and detaching the device to a smartphone (e.g., iPhone, etc.) using a magnet without using a complex bonding structure.
[0142] Furthermore, according to an embodiment of the present invention, when attached to a smartphone (e.g., an iPhone, etc.), it is possible to feel a sense of design unity with the smartphone without detracting from the aesthetic appearance of the smartphone itself.
[0143] Furthermore, according to an embodiment of the present invention, a call can be recorded more accurately through various input means, for example, a MEMS MIC or a combination of a MEMS MIC and a piezo sensor, without damaging the operability of the smartphone by being attached to the back of the smartphone (e.g., an iPhone, etc.).
[0144] Furthermore, according to an embodiment of the present invention, compared to the conventional one, the size and weight of the input unit that detects the signals of the incoming and outgoing sounds are reduced, thereby making the overall product size compact and lightweight, which has the advantage of being possible. For example, by using a MEMS MIC, it has the advantage of being able to implement a more improved and superior sound quality by providing a wide frequency response, low noise, low distortion, and a high signal-to-noise ratio in terms of performance.
[0145] Furthermore, according to an embodiment of the present invention, considering the structure of the smartphone, microphones for detecting each of the incoming and outgoing sounds can be independently positioned at optimal locations. For example, by providing multiple microphones, the signal for detecting the incoming sound during a call can be input through the microphone located at the top, and the signal for detecting the outgoing sound during a call can be input through the microphone located at the bottom, thereby increasing the accuracy of signal detection for the incoming and outgoing sounds.
[0146] Although the present invention has been described with reference to the drawings as examples, it is obvious that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments and drawings disclosed in this specification, and that various modifications can be made by those skilled in the art within the scope of the technical idea of the present invention.
