Description

Road reflectors and their construction methods

[0001] The present invention relates to a road reflector and a method for constructing the same, and more particularly, to a road reflector and a method for constructing the same, which can prevent mutual interference of reflected light and thereby obtain clearer reflection efficiency.

[0002] Furthermore, the present invention relates to a road reflector and a method for constructing the same, in which a reflector sheet can be three-dimensionally attached in the shape of a rhombus, square, or polygon, and a non-reflective area is formed between the divided areas to prevent reflected light from interfering with each other, thereby not only exhibiting excellent retroreflection but also facilitating replacement of the reflective sheet.

[0003] In addition, the present invention relates to a road reflector and a method for constructing the same, which allows easy adjustment of the angle of the front surface of the reflector when forming a hole in a structure including a road curb and installing the reflector.

[0004] A road reflector (also known as a delineator) is a device installed on a guardrail, curbstone, or retaining wall at the edge of a road. The reflector glows with light from a vehicle's headlights to inform drivers of a curve or the location of an obstacle on the road at night.

[0005] These reflectors are installed on road curbs or road guardrails, as shown in Fig. 1, and are basically configured by attaching a reflective sheet to the front of a circular plate. When installed on a guardrail, a fixing member is installed on the circular plate so that it can be easily connected to a guardrail pillar or plate.

[0006] These conventional road reflectors are being developed in various ways to increase reflection efficiency or to facilitate installation or management, and examples thereof include the technologies of Patent Documents 1 and 2.

[0007] Patent Document 1 relates to a delineate for a road guardrail, which is installed by installing a delineate having a delineate reflector on a guardrail in which a guardrail plate is fixed by a bolt to a vertical pillar installed vertically on a road, wherein the delineate is made of a synthetic resin material that reflects light and has an open rear side and a space formed inside into which a head of a fixing bolt is inserted, and a washer plate having a bolt insertion hole formed in the center and which is installed in the open rear side of the delineate reflector, and the head of the fixing bolt is inserted into the space of the delineate and the fixing bolt penetrates the guardrail plate, the bracket, and the vertical pillar to be fastened, and the washer plate of the delineate is inserted between the bottom surface of the head and the guardrail plate to be installed in combination.

[0008] Patent Document 2 relates to a structure of a delineate installed on a guardrail, in which a reflector that emits light by a light irradiated from a moving vehicle is installed, and the structure comprises a fixed body that is fixed to the guardrail and has a hollow shape, a fluid that is placed on the fixed body and has a hollow shape and has fluidity and on which a reflector is installed, and a coupling body that connects the fluid body and the fixed body to each other, wherein the fluid body comprises an upper body in the shape of an arc having a constant diameter, a lower body that is formed continuously on the upper body and has a larger diameter than the upper body and has a through hole formed at the lower side, a reflector installation portion formed by a bending portion formed at the end of the upper and lower bodies and bent inward by a constant width, and the interior of the upper and lower bodies forms a first empty space portion, and the fixed body comprises a bottom portion in which a first through hole is formed at the center of a plane, a dome portion formed on both sides of the bottom portion and having a convex shape, a coupling hole formed on both sides of the bottom portion and the dome portion and fixed to a guardrail, etc., and a dome portion. The assembly is a delineate structure comprising a base that flows between the inner side of the bottom of the fixture and the outer side of the groove, a body that flows into the groove of the fixture and has a first screw portion formed therein, a contact portion formed at the end of the body and in contact with the inner side of the lower body of the fluid, a support shaft that is installed on one side of the contact portion and has a second screw portion formed therein, and a support formed on one side of the support shaft and serving as a reinforcing member of the contact portion.

[0009] Although various products related to road reflectors have been developed, they have the disadvantage of being complex in structure, requiring a lot of cost for production, and thus increasing the product price.

[0010] In addition, some of the conventional reflectors have a flat plate shape and thus have directionality, so when installing them, they must be installed in line with the direction in which the vehicle is traveling, which makes installation cumbersome.

[0011] In addition, reflectors with protruding or sunken reflective surfaces are provided, but the light reflected from the reflective surfaces that make up these interfere with each other, resulting in reduced visibility. In addition, when visibility is poor, drivers of cars driving sideways to the front of the boundary block look at the sign obliquely to the side, making it difficult to see, and thus, they cannot easily identify the road curb or guardrail, which can cause collision accidents.

[0012] The present invention was developed to solve the above problems, and its purpose is to provide a road reflector and a construction method thereof that can prevent mutual interference of reflected light and obtain clearer reflection efficiency.

[0013] That is, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a road reflector in which a reflective sheet is installed three-dimensionally in the shape of a diamond, square, or polygon on a reflector cap so that the reflective sheet reflects the vehicle's lights at various angles and has excellent retroreflection.

[0014] In addition, the present invention aims to provide a road reflector and a method for constructing the same, which enables a reflective sheet to be detached and attached to a reflector cap in a divided state for easy replacement, and forms a non-reflective surface and non-reflective line between the divided reflective sheets to further enhance the visibility of the reflective sheet.

[0015] In addition, the present invention aims to provide a road reflector and a method for constructing the same, which has a fixing part that can be easily installed on a curbstone or guardrail, so that the installation of the reflector can be easily and sturdily performed.

[0016] In addition, the present invention aims to provide a road reflector and a method for constructing the same, which allows easy adjustment of the angle of the front surface of the reflector when forming a hole in a structure including a road curb stone and installing the reflector.

[0017] The road reflector according to the present invention is a reflector installed on a road structure including a road boundary stone, a median strip, a sign, a guide board, an underground fixed pile or a guardrail, etc., and has a reflector cap (10) having a polyhedral shape that narrows toward the rear and a sheet fixing groove (10g) formed by a plurality of non-reflective partition walls (12) formed radially around a flat central plane (11) formed at the center;

[0018] It includes a fixing member (30) installed on the back surface of the above reflector cap (10) to fix the reflector to another structure,

[0019] It is characterized in that a non-reflective border (23) is formed on the edge of the above reflector cap (10).

[0020] In addition, the road reflector according to the present invention is a built-in road reflector installed in a fixing hole (110) formed in a structure (100) including a road boundary stone, a median strip, or a road side ditch.

[0021] A fixing part (30) is formed on the back surface of a built-in road reflector cap (10) having a reflective sheet (20) installed on at least one side and is fixed by being fitted into the fixing hole.

[0022] The above fixed part (30) is a fixed tube (31) extending from the back surface of the reflector cap,

[0023] A fixing member (40) is installed at each end of the above fixed body (31).

[0024] The above-mentioned fixed member (40) is characterized by being composed of at least two direction fixing members (41) installed at intervals on the upper or lower side of one end of the fixed pipe body, and a center fixing member (42) installed on the opposite surface of the other end of the end on which the direction fixing members are installed.

[0025] The road reflector according to the present invention has a reflective sheet installed inward in a three-dimensional manner in the shape of a diamond, square or polygon, thereby reflecting vehicle lights at various angles and improving visibility by having excellent retroreflection even in straight sections, thereby making it easy to identify road curbs and thus having the effect of encouraging safe driving of drivers at night.

[0026] In addition, the present invention has the effect of preventing problems such as wear and damage caused by friction from vehicle tires or cleaning vehicles, etc., since the reflective sheet installed on the reflector cap is not exposed to the outside.

[0027] In addition, the present invention has the effect of significantly reducing the replacement cost and time of the reflector by individually replacing only the reflective sheets of the parts that require replacement without having to replace the entire reflector when the reflective sheets installed in multiple pieces on the reflector cap are scratched or damaged by foreign substances or stones flying from a vehicle tire or the like, or when visibility is reduced due to foreign substances.

[0028] In addition, the present invention has the effect of further improving the visibility of the reflective sheet by forming a non-reflective surface and non-reflective line between the divided reflective sheets.

[0029] In addition, the present invention has the effect of enabling the reflector to be easily fixed to a curbstone or guardrail by installing various types of fixing members.

[0030] In addition, the road reflector according to the present invention has the effect of making it easy to adjust the angle of the front of the reflector when a hole is formed in a structure including a road curb, a median strip, or a road side ditch and the reflector is installed.

[0055] The present invention can be practiced with various modifications. Specific embodiments are illustrated in the drawings and described in detail. However, this is not intended to limit the invention to specific embodiments, but rather to encompass all modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the spirit and technical scope of the present invention.

[0056] In describing each drawing, similar reference numerals are used to designate similar components. In describing the present invention, detailed descriptions of related known technologies are omitted if they are deemed to obscure the gist of the present invention.

[0057]

[0058] The present invention can prevent mutual interference of reflected light, thereby obtaining clearer reflection efficiency.

[0059] A road reflector according to the present invention, as illustrated in FIG. 1, is a reflector installed on a road structure including a road curbstone, a median strip, a sign, a guide board, an underground fixed pile or a guardrail, and as illustrated in FIGS. 2 to 13, has a polyhedral shape that narrows toward the rear, and includes a reflector cap (10) having a sheet fixing groove (10g) formed by a plurality of non-reflective partition walls (12) formed radially around a flat central plane (11) formed at the center; and a reflective sheet (20) installed in the sheet fixing groove.

[0060] The above reflector cap (10) has the function of protecting the reflective sheet and fixing it to another structure, and as shown, has a trumpet shape that gradually narrows toward the rear.

[0061] The above reflector cap (10) has a number of non-reflective areas to enable easier installation of the reflector sheet and to prevent the light reflected by the reflector sheet from interfering with each other.

[0062] That is, as shown in Fig. 3, the reflector cap (10) has a plurality of sheet fixing grooves (10g) in which reflector sheets are installed.

[0063] In order to form the above sheet fixing grooves (10g), non-reflective partition walls (12) are formed between the sheet fixing grooves, and these non-reflective partition walls are formed at equal intervals and radially with the center of the reflector cap as the center.

[0064] In addition, as shown in Fig. 3, the sheet fixing groove (10g) may be formed of a vertically flat plane portion (10p) and an inclined surface portion (10s) formed to be inclined toward the inner center.

[0065] In addition, a central flat portion (11) is formed in the center of the reflector cap (10), and the non-reflective partition portion (12) is formed radially around the central flat portion (11).

[0066] The above central flat portion (11) and the non-reflective bulkhead portion (12) are exposed to the outside because the reflective sheet is not attached. When the reflector plate receives the vehicle's light and sparkles due to the reflective sheet attached to the sheet fixing groove portion (10g), the vehicle's light is absorbed in a non-reflective state, so that the reflective sheet attached to the reflector plate sparkles more brightly, thereby achieving high visibility.

[0067] The above-mentioned non-reflective partition wall (12) may be formed with a width that gradually narrows from the central flat portion (11) toward the edge as shown in FIG. 5, or may be formed with a constant width from the central flat portion (11) to the edge as shown in FIG. 6.

[0068] In addition, the above reflector cap (10) has an anti-reflective border (13) formed on the edge, and this anti-reflective border protects the edge of the reflective sheet attached to the sheet fixing groove (10g).

[0069] In the drawing, four sheet fixing grooves (10g) are shown as an example, but more than four sheet fixing grooves (10g) may be formed.

[0070] That is, each reflective sheet installed in the seat fixing groove can form a polygon including a square, pentagon, or hexagon in its overall flat shape.

[0071] The above sheet fixing groove (10g) allows a reflective sheet (20) to be detachably installed, so that the reflective sheet can be replaced when it becomes old and its reflective efficiency decreases or when it becomes contaminated and loses its reflective function.

[0072] The above reflective sheet (20) is installed only in the sheet fixing groove (10g) formed in the reflector cap (10) as described above, and can have different reflection directions so as to reflect light in a different direction from that installed in the adjacent sheet fixing groove (10g).

[0073] The above reflective sheet (20) has a central perforation (21) in the center as shown in FIGS. 2 to 7 (a), 9 and 11, and the central perforation is installed so as to face the central flat portion (11) formed in the reflective cap.

[0074] As shown, the above reflective sheet (20) forms a number of cut portions (22) centered on the central punching hole (21), and each portion cut by the cut portion is installed in a sheet fixing groove (10g) formed in the reflective cap (10).

[0075] The above-mentioned cutting portion (22) may be formed by a plurality of cutting lines centered on the central punching portion (21), as shown in Fig. 5 (b), or may be formed by removing a portion of the sheet to form a cutting space, as shown in Fig. 6 (b).

[0076] That is, the shape of the cut portion (22) formed on the reflective sheet may vary depending on the shape of the non-reflective partition wall (12) formed on the reflective cap (10).

[0077] The above reflective sheet (20) may be installed in the entire sheet fixing groove (10g) at the same time with the attachment portion (22) formed only in the portion corresponding to the sheet fixing groove (10g) formed in the reflector cap (10) as shown in FIG. 3, or may be installed separately in a state where it is cut in a shape corresponding to each sheet fixing groove (10g) as shown in FIG. 4.

[0078] Of course, even if the entire reflective sheet (20) is configured to be installed in the sheet fixing groove (10g) at the same time as shown in Fig. 3, it is possible to remove a damaged part and replace only the damaged part by cutting and separating a part as needed, thereby enabling maintenance.

[0079] In addition, the sheet fixing groove (10g) of the above reflector cap (10) extends to the edge of the circular reflector cap as shown in Fig. 2 (a) and “ ” is formed in the shape of a semi-sheet and installed on the entire sheet fixing groove, or is formed only in the part excluding the arc-shaped part as shown in Fig. 2 (b) and “ "The shape can be formed and the half sheet can be installed only in this sheet fixing groove.

[0080] As shown in Fig. 3, the reflective sheet (20) can be formed with a flat surface portion (20p) and an inclined surface portion (20s) formed inclined toward the inner center so that it can be installed on both the flat surface portion (10p) of the reflective cap and the inclined surface portion (10s) formed inclined toward the inner center.

[0081] The reflector of the present invention configured as described above may be configured as a circular reflector cap as shown in FIGS. 2 to 14, or may be configured as a square reflector cap, although not shown. However, this is only one example and the scope of the claims is not limited thereto, and the outer shape of the reflector cap may be manufactured in a multi-angled shape.

[0082]

[0083] The above-mentioned fixed part (30) may be formed as a fixed pipe (31) having a cylindrical shape, as shown in FIGS. 7 to 11, which is fixed to the back surface of the reflector cap and has a number of fixed grooves formed on the outer surface thereof through which concrete mortar or adhesive penetrates to fix the high-pressure part to the structure.

[0084] FIGS. 7 to 11 illustrate a reflector having a fixing part that enables the reflector of the present invention to be installed on a road curbstone and its installation state. FIG. 7 is an example of a reflector being installed by digging a hole for installing the reflector in an already installed road curbstone.

[0085] As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the fixed tube (31) of the reflector installed on the road curb is cylindrical and has a plurality of fixed grooves (31g) formed on the outer surface. The fixed tube (31) is inserted into a hole formed on the road curb and fixed. After applying adhesive to the outer surface of the fixed tube including the fixed grooves (31g), the reflector is inserted into the hole and the adhesive is allowed to harden, thereby fixing the reflector to the road curb.

[0086] The adhesive may be an adhesive or cement mortar that can bond the material of the boundary stone and the material of the fixed pipe.

[0087] FIGS. 9 and 10 show the structure of a fixing part (30) when a reflector is installed by force-fitting into a road curbstone assembly hole after forming an assembly hole and a flexible inclined fixing pin (32) is fitted therein, or when a road curbstone is manufactured by installing the reflector in advance on a formwork for manufacturing road curbstones and manufacturing the road curbstones so that the reflector is integrated, and further includes a fixing pin (32) installed so that the outer end of the fixing pipe (31) is inclined toward the reflector cap, and mortar is permeated into a fixing groove (31g) formed on the outer surface of the fixing pipe (31), and the fixing pin (32) is embedded in the mortar so that the fixing pipe can be firmly fixed to the road curbstone.

[0088] Fig. 11 is an example of a reflector having a fixing part (30) installed on a guardrail. As shown, the reflector is installed on a part of the guardrail using a fixing pillar made of a pipe, and has a cylindrical fixing pipe (31) so that it can be fitted into and connected to the fixing pillar. A fixing ring (33) made of an elastic material is installed in a fixing groove (31g) formed on the outer surface of the fixing pipe (31) so that the fixing pipe (31) fitted into the fixing pillar does not separate without an external force.

[0089] The reflector of the present invention can be fixed by being embedded in the ground, and since the fixing part (30) is the same as the fixing part (30) for the guardrail described above, a detailed description thereof is omitted.

[0090] In addition, it is preferable that the road reflector according to the present invention includes a fixing member (30) installed on the back surface of the reflector cap to fix the reflector to another structure, as shown in FIG. 12.

[0091] As shown in Fig. 12, another example of the fixing member (30) can be configured to directly fix the reflector to another structure without using a fixing structure, by integrally forming a plurality of vertical support plates (34v) on the upper part of a horizontal support plate (34h), and combining the upper end of the vertical support plates (34v) to the back surface of the reflector cap.

[0092] The above fixing part (30) is for fixing the reflector cap to another structure on the road. The reflector of the present invention can be installed on a road boundary stone or guardrail as shown in Fig. 1, and the configuration of the fixing part can vary depending on the structure to be installed.

[0093] In addition, the reflector according to the present invention can also improve visibility by additionally installing a central reflector (11a) on the central flat portion as shown in Fig. 7 (b).

[0094] In addition, the reflector of the present invention can have reflective sheets installed on both sides as shown in FIGS. 13 and 14.

[0095] That is, as shown in FIG. 13, a central flat portion (11) is formed in the center, and a reflective sheet is installed on the front and back surfaces of a single-surface reflective cap in which the non-reflective partition walls (12) are formed radially around the central flat portion (11), or as shown in FIG. 14, a reflective cap in which the central flat portion (11) is formed in the center, and the non-reflective partition walls (12) are formed radially around the central flat portion (11) is symmetrically arranged, and a reflective sheet is installed on each outer surface.

[0096] In addition, the reflector of the present invention may be formed with a flat central plane as shown in Fig. 10 (a), or may be formed with a grooved central plane as shown in Fig. 10 (b).

[0097]

[0098] In addition, the present invention can easily adjust the angle of the front surface of the reflector when forming a hole in a structure including a road curb, a median strip, or a road side ditch and installing a reflector.

[0099] The road reflector according to the present invention is a built-in road reflector installed in a fixing hole (110) formed in a structure (100) including a road curb, a median strip, or a road side ditch, as illustrated in FIG. 15, and is characterized in that, as illustrated in FIGS. 16 to 22, a fixing part (30) is formed on the back surface of a built-in road reflector cap (10) having a reflective sheet (20) installed on at least one surface and fixed by being fitted into the fixing hole, and the fixing part (30) is a fixing tube (31) extending from the back surface of the reflector cap, and fixing members (40) are installed at each of both ends of the fixing tube (31).

[0100] In particular, it is preferable that the above-mentioned fixed member (40) is composed of at least two direction fixing members (41) installed at intervals on the upper or lower side of one end of the fixed pipe body, and a center fixing member (42) installed on the opposite surface of the other end of the end on which the direction fixing members are installed.

[0101] The reflector of the present invention adjusts the angle of the reflector cap by adjusting the inclination of the fixed part.

[0102] That is, the present invention enables the angle of the reflector to be easily adjusted so that the reflection angle of light reflected by the reflector can be clearly seen by the driver according to the linearity of the road. By adjusting the angle at which the above-mentioned fixing part (30) is fitted into the fixing hole (110) formed in the structure, the angle of the reflecting plate cap (10) installed at the front end of the fixing part can be easily adjusted, and the angle of light reflected by the reflecting sheet installed on the reflecting plate cap can be easily adjusted.

[0103] The above-mentioned fixed part (30) is configured by forming a plurality of through holes (35) in the wall of the fixed pipe (31) made of a cylindrical pipe as shown in FIGS. 16 to 21, and the fixed pipe may be a cylindrical body having a diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the reflector cap as shown in FIGS. 16 to 19, or may be configured as a cylindrical body having an outer diameter equal to the outer diameter of the reflector cap as shown in FIG. 20.

[0104] In addition, as shown in FIGS. 16, 19, and 20, the fixed pipe (31) has an inclined end (31s) formed so that the length becomes shorter when directed toward the direction fixing member from the end where the center fixing member (42) is installed, so that when the fixed pipe is tilted while inserted into the fixing hole, the short end can be tilted easily without getting caught on the inner wall of the fixing hole.

[0105] The above-mentioned fixing member (40) is a means for fixing the fixing tube (31) to be inclined inside the fixing hole, and can be implemented in various ways. One example is, as shown in FIGS. 16 to 20 (a), a fixing rod having elasticity, and a through hole (35) is formed in the fixing tube (31) to allow each fixing rod to be detachably installed.

[0106] As shown, the above through holes (35) are formed with at least two installed at intervals on the upper or lower side of one end of the fixed pipe body and one on the opposite surface of the other end.

[0107] The above-mentioned fixed rod is installed in the fixed pipe body (31) while being inserted into the through hole (35), and its end is in contact with the inner wall of the fixed hole (110), thereby fixing the fixed pipe body to the fixed hole.

[0108] The above-mentioned fixing rod can be made of elastic rubber or synthetic resin, and the length protruding from the fixing pipe can be adjusted, and when the reflector cap (10) is to be installed at an angle, the fixing rod installed at the front end in the direction of inclination is exposed short from the fixing pipe, the fixing rod installed at the rear end is exposed long, the fixing rod on the opposite side corresponding to the above-mentioned long exposed fixing rod is exposed short, and the fixing rod on the opposite side corresponding to the fixing rod exposed short at the rear end is exposed long, so that the fixing part fitted inside the fixing hole is installed in a state of being inclined to one side from the central axis of the fixing hole, and by being installed in this way, the reflector cap and the reflective sheet are installed in a state of being inclined to one side.

[0109] The above fixed rod can be configured in various ways, such as having a single cylindrical shape as shown in Fig. 24 (see Fig. 24a) or having a fixed rod stopper (43) formed on a single cylindrical shape (see Fig. 24b), and the position of the fixed rod stopper (43) can also be changed as needed.

[0110] In addition, another example of the above-mentioned fixing member is one that is composed of an elastic wing (44) having elasticity as shown in Fig. 20b, and the fixing member is composed of a plate-shaped elastic wing (44) so that the inclination is adjusted according to the degree to which the elastic wing is bent when it is inserted into the fixing hole.

[0111] In addition, the reflector cap (10) and the reflector sheet (20) constituting the reflector of the present invention can be modified in various ways, but it is preferable to configure them so as to increase visibility, and such a reflector is configured by forming the reflector cap (10) in a polyhedral shape that narrows toward the rear at the front, as shown in FIGS. 16, 18, 19, and 22, and forming a sheet fixing groove (10g) partitioned by a plurality of non-reflective partition walls (12) formed radially around a flat central plane portion (11) formed at the center.

[0112]

[0113] In addition, the reflector according to the present invention can also install the judge sheet (20) eccentrically as shown in Fig. 23 (e).

[0114] In the above description, the “reflective sheet”, which is a means for reflecting light, can be configured by replacing it with a “reflective plate”.

[0115]

[0116] The method for constructing a reflector according to the present invention has already been described in the description of the above configuration, but will be described in more detail as follows.

[0117] First, a fixing hole is formed in a structure (100) in which a reflector including a road boundary stone is installed, and the diameter of this fixing hole is sufficiently larger than the diameter of the fixing pipe (31) constituting the fixing part (30) so that the fixing pipe can be easily fitted into the fixing hole.

[0118] The fixed pipe (31) of the fixed part (30) is installed by fitting it into the fixed hole (110) formed in the structure (100), and after installing a number of fixed members (40) in the fixed pipe, the fixed pipe is fitted into the fixed hole and fixed.

[0119] At this time, adjust the length of the fixed rod exposed from the fixed tube according to the direction in which the reflector is tilted, and then insert the fixed tube into the fixed hole.

[0120] That is, when the reflector cap is installed so that it is tilted downwards in the drawing, the center fixing member (42) installed at the lower rear end of the fixed pipe body is exposed long, and the echo fixing member (41) installed at the end adjacent to the reflector cap of the fixed pipe body is exposed short, and when the fixed pipe body is inserted into the fixing hole in this state, the reflector cap is fixed in a downward tilted state, as shown in FIG. 19.

[0121] Of course, if the reflector cap is installed so that it is tilted from the central axis of the fixed tube, the tilt of the reflector can be increased.

[0122] The reflector of the present invention configured as described above can be installed by adjusting the angle of the reflector according to the linearity of the road since the inclination of the reflector can be easily adjusted during construction, thereby having the effect of making the light reflected by the reflector clearly visible to the driver.
