[0025] BR 132016016244-0 Process. Construction System and Provisions Applied to Concrete Blocks and Beams for Building Construction. Filing Date: July 13, 2016. It lacks horizontal locking. As a result, if mortar is not placed on the vertical faces between the blocks, or if they are not rigorously joined, it is possible to see the other side of the work. This facilitates the passage of noise. Therefore, it requires a very good thickness of roughcast / render / plaster.

[0026] Furthermore, its "passage grid" is limited, because if a duct needs to be installed diagonally, there is a limited angle. Depending on the angle, the block above will lack a male fitting to lock it.

[0027] The first block at the “foot” of the columns does not have a window for inspecting the concrete, making it impossible to check whether there were any “wormholes” at the base of the column.

[0028] The parts of this system do not cover all the situations encountered on the site, leaving gaps such as: solutions for lintels; wedging between the wall and the beam; installation of hydraulic terminations; slope finish; counter-lintel finish, with a slope for water drainage; flashing, with an angle for water drainage; among others.

[0029] BR 102017024176-9 Process. Interlocking Brick Block Construction System and Method. Filing Date: November 10, 2017. It does not have a "passage grid." There are small horizontal openings. However, for piping to pass through, the block must be cut to allow for horizontal, vertical, and diagonal piping.

[0030] BR 102018015809-0 Process. Construction System and Construction Provisions Applied to Concrete Blocks for Building Construction. Filing Date: August 2, 2018. The locking between the block and the column is external, compromising the appearance if it becomes visible. In the case of using roughcast / plaster / rendering, a sufficient amount must be used to cover the joint. In other words, the thickness of the roughcast / plaster / rendering is determined by the column locker, not the contractor.

[0031] The criticisms, where applicable, indicated in paragraphs

[0025] ;

[0026] ;

[0027] ; and

[0028] , are maintained,

[0032] The pieces that finish the lintel, counter-lintel, and vertical elements of the spans, called frame blocks, are not located on the same wall plume because they protrude. In this case, they need to be covered with roughcast / plaster / rendering.

[0033] Process BR 102018016243-8. Building Blocks and Wall Construction System with Blocks with Thermal / Acoustic Insulating Inserts. Filing Date: 08 / 08 / 2018. Does not have a “passage grid”, requiring cutting of the aforementioned block for the passage of piping horizontally, vertically and diagonally.

[0034] Process BR 102020021121 -8. Wall Construction System for Civil Construction. Filing Date 10 / 15 / 2020. It does not have a “passage grid”, requiring cutting of the aforementioned block for the passage of pipes horizontally, vertically and diagonally. STATE OF THE TECHNIQUE

[0035] The various block models available on the market, designed for building walls, pillars, and belts, are laid with cement, lime, and sand mortar. Or, also, with polymeric mortar (as defined in ABNT NBR 16590 / 2017).

[0036] It was also found that there are blocks that are laid using fittings only.

[0037] When laying the first rows, it is necessary to use mortar with waterproofing.

[0038] The column shapes are made in wooden boxes.

[0039] In the case of structural blocks, which do not have fittings, the columns are made within the block itself, avoiding the use of wood for formwork.

[0040] In the conventional system, the columns also do not have a window for inspecting the concrete at their base.

[0041] When installing the electrical and hydraulic system, it is necessary to break down the masonry already constructed to insert the conduits and pipes in different directions.

[0042] Once the wall has been erected and the electrical and plumbing systems installed, the first few rows should be waterproofed. In the case of the kitchen and laundry room, waterproofing should be done halfway up the walls. In bathrooms, waterproofing should extend to the ceiling.

[0043] In the case of closing the space between the walls and the beam, wedging is used with bricks laid diagonally.

[0044] After these activities, the walls and columns will be coated with plaster / rendering / rendering based on cement, lime and sand; or leveling compound; or by directly applying plaster.

[0045] There are also exposed blocks, which don't require roughcast / plastering / rendering. However, their joints are visible and aren't waterproof, revealing where the mortar was applied. In other words, the joint lines between the pieces are visible.

[0046] Metal profiles or corners are placed at the corners of the walls to prevent future damage over the life of the wall.

[0047] The present utility model has overcome all these obstacles, AT THE SAME TIME, namely:

[0048] All pieces in this family of blocks can be laid with: cement, lime, and sand mortar; or polymeric mortar (as defined in ABNT NBR 16590 / 2017). In the case of laying with mortar, in this patent, consumption is much lower. Or, they can simply be fitted together, without mortar.

[0049] The first rows should be laid with mortar containing a waterproofing agent. The pieces in the first row must be level and plumb, ensuring that the level and plumb are transmitted to the subsequent pieces, which will be fitted above.

[0050] The columns will be made up of blocks with fittings, which will serve as forms for concrete, replacing the wood and will be incorporated into the work.

[0051] At the “foot” of the column there is an inspection window.

[0052] Inspection windows allow you to confirm that the column is concreted from its base, preventing “wormholes” at a very important point.

[0053] The blocks feature a passage grid, allowing for the embedded installation of electrical, logic, and plumbing systems in vertical, horizontal, and diagonal directions. This eliminates the need to cut or break the masonry to install these systems in any direction.

[0054] The pieces intended for insertion in locations requiring waterproofing will be blue and already contain the waterproofing compound. They will come with the technology built in, eliminating the need for waterproofing on site. The piece will already be waterproofed at the factory.

[0055] A waterproof epoxy / polymer mortar will be applied to lay the first rows and to grout all the pieces.

[0056] To close the space between the walls and the beam, a specific piece is used, the Longitudinal Plate for closing the beam and hydraulic terminations, eliminating the need for wedging with bricks laid diagonally, in the last row of the sealing walls.

[0057] In this case, it is worth highlighting that the base of the beam must have a design that allows perfect locking between the beam and the upper part of the longitudinal plate.

[0058] Furthermore, in the case of plumbing installations, at the end points of faucets, valves, and wastewater collection, the longitudinal plate will also be used to close the beam and hydraulic terminals. This will facilitate the construction of the hydraulic terminals, which will later be closed with the other longitudinal half of the plate, without any need to break the masonry.

[0059] All pieces in this block family have a finish that replaces roughcast / plaster / rendering. In other words, the blocks will arrive from the factory with perfectly smooth surfaces, similar to the final finish.

[0060] The blocks will also be chamfered along their respective perimeters, so that they can be grouted with epoxy / polymer mortar. waterproofed and then sanded, eliminating the joint line and leaving a perfect finish.

[0061] The various blocks are assembled by fitting together; or sealed with polymeric mortar; and finally, grouted with waterproof epoxy / polymer mortar.

[0062] The polymeric mortar is applied using a trowel or tube, forming a triangle of mortar, with its vertex at the internal joint line between the block faces / plates. In the case of grout, it is applied along the beveled part between the pieces.

[0063] When constructing a column, after it has been filled with concrete, the last block must be manually terminated so that it can fit the next block above it, if one is to be used. For example, a piece of slab support.

[0064] The blocks that will form the corners of the walls offer an advantage over the current construction model. Due to their robustness, they eliminate the need for profiles or metal angles to protect them.

[0065] The pieces that make up this family of blocks have the following purposes:

[0066] Blocks for wall construction: Block “H”, Half block “H”, Block “H” for installing recessed skirting boards; Half block “H” for installing recessed skirting boards; Male fitting inverter; and Female fitting inverter:

[0067] Blocks for building columns: Wall pillar and Half wall pillar; Wall cross pillar; Isolated pillar; Left “L” shaped wall pillar; Right “L” shaped wall pillar; Double “L” shaped wall pillar; and “T” shaped wall pillar.

[0068] Blocks used for the construction of beams, lintels, and counter-lintels: Beam; Transition Beam; Channel; Slab Strap. The transition beam connects the free-span block to the masonry block.

[0069] Blocks and parts for finishing beams: Slab corner; Counter-lintel finishing; “L” closing end; and Plate for bottom closing.

[0070] The “L” shaped closing end and the bottom closing plate limit the space for concreting inside Block “H”, according to the structural need.

[0071] Blocks and parts for finishing walls: Finishing for female side termination and male side termination; Slope finishing; Flashing, intended for finishing blocks used in parapets and walls, eliminating the use of galvanized flashing; Plate for closing walls with “T” joint; wall corner; Longitudinal Plate for closing beams and hydraulic terminations; and Half longitudinal plate for closing beams and hydraulic terminations.

[0072] The execution of the work with this family of blocks will be preceded by an architectural project in BIM, detailing the application location for each block, its color, and its respective quantity.

[0073] If a wall needs to be built that is not a multiple of 10 cm long, the blocks will need to be cut crosswise to fit the dimensions. The cut should be made so that the lateral tongue-and-groove joints are maintained, and they will be joined with polymer mortar.

[0074] Not only horizontal adjustments are possible, but also vertical adjustments. In the case of vertical adjustments, to achieve a height that is not a multiple of 10 cm, a longitudinal cut can be made horizontally to achieve the desired height. The joints should be preserved and the cut parts should be joined with polymer mortar.

[0075] During wall construction, if it is necessary to reverse the joints, male or female joint inverters can be used. Everything depends on the sequence of the joint until it meets the next pillar's joint.

[0076] When assembling a wall, we must follow the following steps, namely:

[0077] Lay the first row of blocks for the columns, defining the boundaries of the rooms. The corners of the work can be finished with pillars or with blocks finished with the ends, depending on the structural calculation.

[0078] According to the structural calculation, there are blocks intended for the construction of the columns, namely: Wall pillar and Half wall pillar; Wall cross pillar; Isolated pillar; Left “L” shaped wall pillar; Right “L” shaped wall pillar; Double “L” shaped wall pillar; and “T” shaped wall pillar.

[0079] Or combine the “H” block with the wall corner block or with the Wall Closing Plate with “T” joint.

[0080] Fill the gaps with the blocks intended for building the walls, respecting the position of the counter-lintel; lintel; and the slab strap.

[0081] If it is necessary to invert the fittings, use male or female fitting inverters.

[0082] When constructing the walls, install the electrical conduits and hydraulic piping, taking advantage of the passage grid.

[0083] Lay the blocks for constructing the beams.

[0084] Finally, finish off the walls and beams.

[0085] Advantages of using this family of blocks:

[0086] It does not require highly specialized labor; it does not use wood in the column, beam, strap and slab formwork; it has an inspection window at the base of the column; it does not use only cement, lime and sand mortar for laying;

[0087] When the first row is plumb and level, and the subsequent blocks are perfectly fitted, they will automatically be plumb and level.

[0088] There is no need to break the block to pass the electrical, logic and hydraulic systems, due to the architecture of the passage grid.

[0089] No need for metal angles to protect wall corners, due to factory structural reinforcement; saves water;

[0090] Laid with polymeric mortar; the blocks that will be applied in areas susceptible to humidity or in wet areas will be made in blue and will have waterproofing components in their composition, avoiding waterproofing after their laying; they are grouted with waterproof epoxy / polymer mortar, to provide a perfect finish, eliminating the need for roughcast / plastering / rendering.

[0091] If there is a need to waterproof the block walls, aiming to increase their resistance to humidity, especially in wet areas, the waterproofing product will be applied with a brush, paint roller or sprayer.

[0092] Using the present blocks, there is no need for roughcast / plastering / plastering.

[0093] The blocks can be produced with the following materials, namely: cement mortar; recycled masonry; soil-cement; virgin or recycled wood; or any other material that presents the necessary resistance.

[0094] Depending on the material used and the desired reinforcement, the part must have greater internal reinforcement. In other words, its internal reinforcement, the containment core, may be displaced (variable positions) or enlarged (variable sizes).

[0095] Each block will have a respective color, aiming at the ease of its assembly.

[0096] In view of the changes introduced, the present family of blocks has optimized, ALL IN ONE SYSTEM, the assembly of walls; columns; counter lintels; lintels, beams; slab straps; finishing; wall finishing; waterproofing; the introduction of electrical, logical, and hydraulic systems; and eliminated the roughcast / plastering / plastering. [0166] This family of blocks, designed for the construction of all types of walls and situations that may be encountered on a construction site, brings together in a single set the following features that characterize the present system: ease of jointing by fitting; the passage grid, facilitating the introduction of electrical and hydraulic systems in all directions; side finishing that replaces the roughcast / plaster / plaster; chamfered perimeter, which, after grouting, gives perfection to the wall's finish; and it also has embedded in its constitution, when masonry, the waterproofing.

[0167] All pieces in this block family can be produced in a variety of colors and sizes. Always use blue for blocks containing waterproofing agents.

[0168] The position and size of the containment core (6) are flexible. Thus, aiming for greater stability and reinforcement of the block, depending on the material to be used in its manufacture, the containment core (6) can be moved, on its vertical axis, further up or further down. Or vary its volume.

[0169] Thus, this utility model patent revolutionized the construction industry through the numerous improvements introduced into a single system. Therefore, there is no known similar system that combines all the features described above in a single set of products and that, directly or indirectly, is or was as effective due to the introduction of an architecture that makes the system more applicable on the market.

[0170] Any modifications and / or changes, in addition to the combination of already known elements in a new form or arrangement, involving an inventive act, resulting in a functional improvement in its use or manufacture, must be understood as within the scope of this utility model patent.
