Abstract
Description
[0001] HOLDING DEVICE FOR A SOLENOID COIL IN AN ACTUATOR
[0002] The present invention generally relates to an actuator with a magnetic coil. More specifically, the invention relates to a holding device for a magnetic coil and a method for mounting the magnetic coil.
[0003] Electromechanical wheel brakes (EMBs) are increasingly being used in modern motor vehicles, for example, as service brakes. These wheel brakes offer several advantages over conventional, hydraulically operated wheel brakes. For example, a complex hydraulic system is no longer required, and an electromechanical wheel brake is also significantly more space-efficient.
[0004] Such electromechanical wheel brakes typically have at least one electric or electronic drive unit that interacts with a mechanism or transmission. A brake unit can then be arranged on the output side, which can comprise a brake piston with a friction lining that can be pressed onto a brake disc or drum by means of translational movement. This can achieve the desired deceleration or braking during operation.
[0005] Electromechanical wheel brakes can include electronic control units that use electric actuators. These are generally composed of various assemblies and components.
[0006] Cost-effective manufacturing often requires automated or semi-automated production. Problems can arise from varying position and location tolerances of individual components, which can complicate automated production.
[0007] For certain assemblies, such as solenoid coils, which can interact with another component, such as a valve's solenoid armature, precise alignment is crucial to maintain specified positions between these components. At the same time, precise alignment of these components with other assemblies is also crucial, for example, to establish electrical contacts with a circuit board.
[0008] Known solutions, for example, involve a clearance fit when mounting a solenoid coil with a magnet armature. This is considered unfavorable in this case, as it can lead to losses of the magnetic switching forces, for example, in conjunction with a switching valve.
[0009] A further complication is that with electromechanical wheel brakes, the electronic control units and associated actuators can also be located directly on a wheel. This makes these components so-called unsprung masses, which require a particularly rigid and stable design. Therefore, spring-loaded electrical contacting of the circuit board, for example, is also ruled out.
[0010] It would therefore be desirable to have methods and devices that do not have the disadvantages mentioned above or at least mitigate them.
[0011] The inventors have taken on this task.
[0012] This object is achieved surprisingly simply by a holding device, a magnetic coil assembly and an actuator as well as a method for assembling an actuator according to one of the independent claims.
[0013] Preferred embodiments and further developments of the invention can be found in the respective subclaims.
[0014] The present invention therefore relates, in a first aspect, to a holding device. This can be used for positioning and / or holding, in particular for axial holding and / or radial positioning, a magnetic coil in an actuator. For this purpose, the holding device can comprise a base body with
[0015] - a connecting element,
[0016] - a first leg element which projects preferably at right angles from a first end of the connecting element,
[0017] - a second leg element which projects preferably at right angles from an opposite end of the connecting element, wherein the first and the second leg element each have a cylindrical, through opening of preferably the same diameter and whose respective center axes are arranged coaxially to one another, wherein the first and the second leg element are preferably aligned parallel to one another, and wherein preferably the second leg element projects in the radial direction relative to the first leg element, whereby a projection is formed.
[0018] The holding device according to the invention can be used to hold a magnetic coil in an actuator. For this purpose, the magnetic coil can be inserted into the holding device and in this way form a magnetic coil assembly according to the invention, which will be discussed in more detail below. The magnetic coil assembly can therefore comprise the holding device and the magnetic coil. The holding device can preferably be designed such that the magnetic coil is fixed in one spatial direction only, preferably in an axial direction, before assembly or before completion of assembly, whereas mobility can be provided in at least one, preferably two spatial directions perpendicular thereto. After completion of assembly, the magnetic coil can be fixed in or by the holding device with respect to these three spatial directions.
[0019] In other words, a relative movement of the magnetic coil to the holding device can be limited, particularly before completion of assembly, essentially in an axial direction, which can be predetermined by the direction of the center axes. The holding device can advantageously be designed to enable a movement of the magnetic coil relative to the holding device in the two spatial directions perpendicular thereto, also referred to as the radial direction. At the beginning of assembly, particularly before completion of assembly, the magnetic coil can therefore be movable in the radial direction relative to the holding device, thus allowing adjustability.
[0020] In this way, the invention makes it possible to compensate for shape and position tolerances that may arise in individual components and during their assembly. This makes it particularly advantageous to use (semi-)automated assembly processes, even when mechanical calibration of the components is still required.
[0021] This also allows for subsequent electrical contacting of components, such as the solenoid coil and its electrical connections to a printed circuit board, even if the printed circuit board is attached to or with the housing or other components and, due to individual component tolerances, dimensions are no longer within the required tolerance ranges. This enables cost-effective assembly, particularly of the solenoid coil and the printed circuit board, for example, using a compression or press-fit process, even if precise positioning of the individual components relative to other components is required, for example, to establish electrical contacts.
[0022] The invention thus offers the possibility of adjusting and positioning the magnetic coil in preparation for assembly, and of aligning the electrical contacts, for example with respect to the contacting of a printed circuit board, accordingly. This makes it possible to compensate for shape and position tolerances, for example between the magnetic coil and the printed circuit board. In this way, highly precise electrical contacting of the printed circuit board can be ensured while simultaneously ensuring optimal alignment of the magnetic coil, particularly in conjunction with simple assembly in only one assembly direction. The holding device according to the invention provides for this purpose a base body with a connecting element, which can have a substantially axial orientation. A first and a second leg element can be adjacent to the two axial ends. The two leg elements can each protrude approximately or exactly at right angles from the ends of the connecting element. The first and second leg elements can preferably be aligned parallel to one another. The base body can thus be designed in a yoke-like manner or as a yoke. The perpendicular projection and / or parallel arrangement of the leg elements is considered advantageous for manufacturing and assembly, but this is not a necessary prerequisite for the invention. Rather, the leg elements can also project from the connecting element at a non-perpendicular angle and / or be arranged non-parallel to one another.
[0023] The base body with the connecting element and the two leg elements can appear U-shaped or approximately U-shaped when viewed from the side. In other words, the side opposite the connecting element is open. In this way, a magnetic coil can be at least partially inserted and accommodated in the holding device, in particular in the base body, while simultaneously allowing for radial mobility.
[0024] The two leg elements can generally be of a flatter shape and protrude radially from the connecting element, for example in a tongue-like manner. Perpendicular to this, they can each have a cylindrical, through-bore or opening, wherein their respective center axes can be arranged coaxially to one another. This center axis can represent the longitudinal axis of the base body, and the connecting element can be arranged parallel thereto. According to a preferred embodiment, the two leg elements are perpendicular to this longitudinal axis of the base body and parallel to one another. This can be advantageous, for example, to counteract axial displacement of the held magnetic coil. For this purpose, the connecting element can have an extension in the axial direction, i.e., in the longitudinal direction of the base body, which allows the magnetic coil to be inserted laterally.A small oversize can be helpful to facilitate the radial displacement of the solenoid coil relative to the base body.
[0025] According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the second leg element can protrude in the radial direction relative to the first leg element or have a greater extension in the radial direction than the first leg element, so that a projection relative to the first leg element is created.
[0026] For the purposes of the invention, the first, upper leg element is the leg element located on the side on which the electrical contact is made with an inserted magnetic coil. The second, lower leg element is the one located opposite and, for example, in the case of an actuator of a brake system, can point toward the valves or the valve assembly. This arrangement offers the advantage that the radial, lateral projection of the second leg element can be used to support an assembly tool during assembly.
[0027] To do this, the solenoid coil can first be inserted into the base body or pushed in laterally. The base body with the solenoid coil can then be placed onto the valve assembly, particularly after appropriate adjustment or alignment, and pressed axially onto a radial press fit on or in the housing.
[0028] The projection can therefore represent an engagement point for an assembly tool, which can be brought in vertically in the axial direction from above without being hindered by the first leg element. The projection can, for example, have the shape of a section of a circular ring, which can be advantageous in terms of production and stability. For even better assembly, the second leg element can further comprise at least one laterally projecting lug on each of its two long sides, preferably. These lugs can likewise represent engagement points for the assembly tool. In this way, for example, three spaced-apart engagement points for the assembly tool can be formed. These at least three engagement points for the assembly tool can make a significant contribution to the most uniform axial pressing on of the holding device.
[0029] It can be advantageous if these three engagement points are at the same or at least a similar distance from the center axis, so that tilting during assembly can be counteracted. In particular, it can be advantageous if the lugs are at the same distance from the longitudinal axis of the holding device. The pressing can be carried out similarly to a three-point bearing. In other embodiments, however, this can also be deviated from, and the lugs can be arranged non-symmetrically or asymmetrically, i.e., at different distances from the longitudinal axis. This can be advantageous from an assembly perspective.
[0030] The magnetic coil can be arranged between the first and second leg elements of the base body. The magnetic coil can also have a continuous, cylindrical opening. The center axis of the continuous opening of the magnetic coil can be arranged parallel to the center axes of the continuous openings of the leg elements. The center axis of the continuous opening of the magnetic coil can, in particular, also be arranged coaxially or approximately coaxially to the two center axes of the leg elements. However, this is not mandatory due to the possible radial displacement of the magnetic coil relative to the base body as a tolerance compensation.
[0031] Advantageously, the diameters of these through openings can be matched to one another in such a way that the intended components of the actuator, such as a magnet armature and / or valve tappet, can be guided through and accommodated.
[0032] The solenoid coil can also be accommodated in a surrounding coil housing, which can be held together with the solenoid coil by the holding device. The coil housing can completely or partially enclose the solenoid coil laterally.
[0033] The coil housing can have frontal and / or lateral or tangential recesses. These recesses are particularly convenient for the lugs of the second leg element or other projections to pass through.
[0034] The coil housing may further comprise a base plate arranged such that, when the magnetic coil is inserted into the holding device, it is located below the second leg element. The second leg element may thus be surrounded by the magnetic coil on the inward-facing side surface and the base plate on the opposite side surface. In other words, the coil housing may comprise a slot for receiving this leg element, wherein the slot may be formed between the windings and the base plate. This allows a common contact surface to be formed between the second leg element and the base plate of the coil housing, which will be discussed in more detail below.
[0035] The magnetic coil can comprise electrical contacts for electrically contacting a circuit board. Particularly advantageously, within the meaning of the invention, the electrical contact can be made using contact pins. The contact pins can be axially aligned and / or arranged radially spaced from the center axis.
[0036] For this purpose, the coil housing can, for example, include corresponding retaining elements that can support the contact pins. Lateral stops can be provided for lateral adjustment. These retaining elements are preferably designed to withstand axial pressure, such as that which may arise during assembly, such as when the circuit board is pressed onto or into place, or to transmit it to other components.
[0037] In this way, after mounting the solenoid coil, a printed circuit board can also be placed in an axial mounting direction, and the contact pins can be guided through corresponding through openings in the printed circuit board, which are aligned with the positions of the contact pins, and thus electrically contacted.
[0038] The contact pins can include elongated press-fit zones for electrically contacting the circuit board. These elongated press-fit zones allow for compensation of shape and position tolerances, even in the axial direction, between the solenoid coil and the circuit board, which can be firmly connected to the actuator housing.
[0039] A particularly preferred embodiment of the invention can provide that the second leg element, on the underside facing away from the first leg element, comprises a side surface with at least one surface region having a surface whose mean roughness Ra is greater than the mean roughness Ra of the surrounding surfaces. The mean roughness Ra can in particular be at least 10 pm, preferably at least 15 pm, and particularly preferably at least 20 pm. According to a further embodiment of the invention, the mean roughness Ra can be at most 50 pm, preferably at most 40 pm, and particularly preferably at most 30 pm.
[0040] This surface area with increased roughness is preferably arranged in such a way that it at least partially encompasses the area which forms a common contact surface with the base plate of the coil housing when the magnetic coil is inserted into the holding device. The particular advantage of this increased roughness results for the assembly of the magnetic coil assembly. By pressing on or in, the side surface of the second, lower leg element and the base plate of the coil housing are pressed onto or against one another in the contact area, with the increased roughness creating a significantly increased static friction which counteracts further radial displacement of the magnetic coil and holding device. This increased static friction leads to sufficient fixing of the magnetic coil in the radial direction. The magnetic coil is then, preferably at the end or.After the press-fitting process is complete, the position is fixed in all three spatial directions, and the assembly of additional components, such as a circuit board, can begin. It goes without saying that the magnetic coil should be adjusted before it is fixed.
[0041] It may be sufficient if this surface area with increased roughness has an extension of at least 1 cm 2 , preferably at least 2 cm 2 and particularly preferably at least 3 cm 2 , 4 cm 2 , 5 cm 2 or more. Of course, the surface area with increased roughness can also include the entire contact surface or the entire lower side surface.
[0042] Static friction can be further increased if the base plate is made of a slightly ductile material, such as plastic or aluminum. It can generally be advantageous if the base plate material is at least no harder than the base body material.
[0043] The remaining side surfaces of the base body can have a lower roughness, which can result, for example, from manufacturing. Thus, the first leg element and / or the connecting element can comprise at least one side surface whose mean roughness Ra is less than 10 pm, preferably less than 9 pm, and particularly preferably less than 8 pm. In a further aspect, the invention also encompasses a magnet coil assembly with a holding device as described above and a magnet coil held by the holding device.
[0044] In yet another aspect, the invention also includes an actuator, in particular for a braking system of a motor vehicle, comprising at least one solenoid coil assembly as described above. The actuator may comprise a solenoid valve or be a component of a solenoid valve. The actuator can be used, for example, in or with an electromechanical wheel brake. In the mounted position, the solenoid coil can be operatively connected, for example, to a magnet armature and / or to a valve tappet, for example a valve assembly. For this purpose, the magnet armature can be arranged so as to be movable in the axial direction. The valve tappet can be connected to a valve closing body which can close flow channels. During operation, the valve closing body can then be moved in the axial direction.
[0045] In yet another aspect, the invention also includes a method for assembling a magnetic coil assembly, in particular a magnetic coil assembly as described above, preferably for producing an actuator, comprising the following steps:
[0046] - Providing a solenoid coil assembly,
[0047] - Alignment and adjustment of the magnetic coil in the radial direction in the holding device using an adjustment tool,
[0048] - Place the solenoid assembly in the designated mounting area of the actuator,
[0049] - axial pressing of the holding device, preferably onto a radial press fit on or in the mounting area of the actuator,
[0050] - Remove the pressing tool and / or the adjustment tool.
[0051] The solenoid coil assembly can be manufactured by inserting a solenoid coil into a holding fixture as described above. The adjustment tool can continue to be used for adjustment and fixation during the press-on process and can only be removed after the press connection is completed.
[0052] This can be followed by the following procedural step:
[0053] - Mounting a printed circuit board in the axial direction by placing and pressing in, whereby the contact pins of the magnetic coil engage in alignment with the provided through openings in the printed circuit board and can be arranged for electrical contact.
[0054] Further details of the invention emerge from the description of the illustrated embodiments and the appended claims.

[0062] Fig. 7 is a further oblique view of the base body from below with a magnetic coil, and Fig. 8 is an oblique view from above of a further exemplary holding device with a magnetic coil.
[0063] In the following detailed description of preferred embodiments, for the sake of clarity, like reference numerals designate substantially similar parts in or on these embodiments. However, to better illustrate the invention, the preferred embodiments illustrated in the figures are not always drawn to scale.
[0064] Fig. 1 shows an oblique view from above of an exemplary holding device 10 with a magnetic coil 30 held by the holding device 10. The holding device 10 is provided for the axial holding and radial positioning of the magnetic coil 30 in an actuator. The holding device 10 comprises a base body 20 with
[0065] - a connecting element 21 ,
[0066] - a first leg element 22, which preferably projects at right angles from a first end of the connecting element 21, and
[0067] - a second leg element 23, which projects preferably at a right angle from an opposite end of the connecting element 21, wherein the first and the second leg element 22, 23 each have a cylindrical, through-opening 25 of preferably the same diameter, the respective center axes 24 of which are arranged coaxially to one another, wherein the first and the second leg element 22, 23 are preferably aligned parallel to one another, and wherein the second leg element 23 preferably protrudes in the radial direction relative to the first leg element 22, whereby a projection 27 is formed. With the holding device 10, a magnetic coil 30 can be held in an actuator 12 (not shown). The holder of the magnetic coil 30 acts essentially in the axial direction, designated in Fig. 1 by the spatial direction "z".In other words, a relative movement of the magnetic coil 30 to the holding device 10 can be limited in the axial direction, in particular by the first and second leg elements 22, 23.
[0068] In contrast, a translational movement of the magnetic coil 30 relative to the holding device 10 in the two spatial directions perpendicular thereto, marked in Fig. 1 with the spatial directions “x” and “y”, can be made possible, at least until completion of an assembly.
[0069] The actuator 12 (not shown in Fig. 1) may comprise a solenoid valve or be a component of a solenoid valve. The actuator 12 may be used, for example, in or with an electromechanical wheel brake (not shown).
[0070] Before assembly begins, in particular before assembly of the magnetic coil 30 is completed, the magnetic coil 30 can be movable in the radial direction relative to the holding device 10. In this way, the invention makes it possible to compensate for positional and orientation tolerances that may arise in the individual components, for example, in relation to a surrounding housing of the actuator 12. This particularly advantageously enables the use of (semi-)automated assembly methods, even if mechanical calibration or adjustment of the components is still required.
[0071] The invention enables, for example, a simple assembly of the magnetic coil and a printed circuit board, wherein the magnetic coil can be adjusted beforehand to a predetermined reference point so that after completion of the assembly of the magnetic coil, the printed circuit board can preferably be mounted in the same assembly direction.
[0072] The invention also allows for simple electrical contacting of the
[0073] Components, such as the magnetic coil 30 and a printed circuit board (not shown in Fig. 1), even if the printed circuit board is attached to or on the housing or other components and, due to the individual component tolerances, dimensions arise which are no longer within the specified tolerance ranges.
[0074] The holding device 10 comprises a base body 20 with a connecting element 21, which has an axial alignment parallel to the z-axis and to which a first and a second leg element 22, 23 adjoin. The two leg elements 22, 23 each protrude at right angles from the opposite ends of the connecting element 21, as can be clearly seen in Fig. 1, and are axially spaced from one another. The transitions to the two leg elements 22, 23 are each formed by a radius, which offers advantages in terms of manufacturability and strength. The base body 20 can thus be manufactured in one piece, for example as a stamped part with subsequent bending. The first and the second leg elements 22, 23 are aligned parallel to one another. The base body 20 is thus designed like a yoke or as a yoke.
[0075] The base body 20 with connecting element 21 and the two leg elements 22, 23 is open on the side opposite the connecting element 21 and therefore appears U-shaped or approximately U-shaped when viewed from the side. In this way, the magnetic coil 30 can be at least partially inserted and received into the holding device 10 or into the base body 20, while simultaneously retaining mobility in the radial direction. In the illustration shown in Fig. 1, the magnetic coil 30 is already arranged in the base body 20.
[0076] The two leg elements 22, 23 are generally flat in shape to save height. In the exemplary embodiment, they protrude radially from the connecting element 21 in a tongue-like manner. The two leg elements 22, 23 each comprise a cylindrical, through-opening 25, which is perpendicular to the orientation of the two leg elements 22, 23 and thus aligned parallel to the z-axis. The respective center axes 24 of the openings 25 are arranged coaxially to one another. These two center axes 24 can thus define a longitudinal axis 11 of the base body 20. The two leg elements 22, 23 are therefore perpendicular to this longitudinal axis 11. The arrangement of the connecting element 21 and the leg elements 22, 23 thus forms a laterally open cavity for accommodating the magnetic coil 30.
[0077] As further shown in Fig. 1, in the illustrated embodiment, the second leg element is designed to protrude radially relative to the first leg element and consequently has a greater extension in the radial direction, so that a projection 27 is formed relative to the first leg element 22. This arrangement offers the advantage that the radial, lateral projection 27 of the second leg element 23 can be used to apply an axial contact force by an assembly tool. It is advantageous if the inserted magnetic coil 30 does not cover this projection 27, as shown in Fig. 1.
[0078] The projection 27 can therefore represent an engagement point for an assembly tool, which can be brought vertically in the axial direction from above without being influenced by the first leg element 22 and / or the inserted magnetic coil 30. In the illustrated embodiment, the projection 27 has the shape of a section of a circular ring, but this is not mandatory for the invention. Other shapes, such as a protruding nose or other configurations, are also conceivable and possible.
[0079] For even better assembly, the second leg element 23 further comprises at least one laterally projecting nose 26 on each of its two longitudinal sides 28, as can be clearly seen, for example, in Fig. 8 described further below. These noses 26 can also represent points of engagement for the assembly tool. In this way, three spaced-apart points of engagement for the assembly tool can be formed, which is advantageous for axially pressing on the holding device 10. The at least three points of engagement for the assembly tool enable very uniform axial pressing of the holding device 10 onto a press fit. It can be advantageous if the projection 27 and / or the noses 26 have the same or at least a similar distance from the longitudinal axis 11, so that further increased security against tilting during assembly is provided.
[0080] In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the solenoid coil 30 also has a continuous, cylindrical opening. The diameters of these through openings are matched to allow the intended components of the actuator, such as a magnet armature and / or valve tappet, to pass through.
[0081] The magnetic coil is housed in a surrounding coil housing 37, which, together with the magnetic coil 30, is held by the holding device 10. In this exemplary embodiment, the coil housing 37 encloses the magnetic coil 30. The coil housing 37 has lateral, tangential recesses 35. Two projections 39 of the second leg element 23 extend outward through these recesses 35. In the exemplary embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the projections 39 can assume the functionality of the lugs and represent engagement points for an assembly tool.
[0082] The magnetic coil 30 comprises electrical contacts for electrically contacting a printed circuit board (not shown in Fig. 1). The electrical contacts are designed as contact pins 40 aligned in the axial direction. Furthermore, they are arranged laterally or radially spaced from the longitudinal axis 11, which facilitates easier contacting. In this way, after mounting the magnetic coil 30, the printed circuit board can also be mounted in an axial mounting direction, as shown in Fig. 5 described below.
[0083] The coil housing 37 has holding elements 46 that support the contact pins 40. Stops 33 are provided for lateral adjustment. The contact pins 40 comprise elongated press-in zones 41 for electrically contacting the circuit board. These elongated press-in zones 41 can compensate for positional and location tolerances in the axial direction between the magnetic coil and the circuit board, which can be firmly connected to the actuator housing. The length of the press-in zones 41 in the axial direction is advantageously matched to the thickness of the circuit board and has a length in the axial direction that corresponds to at least 1 times, preferably at least 1.1 times, the thickness of the circuit board.
[0084] Fig. 2 shows a plan view of a section of the holding device from Fig. 1 .
[0085] Fig. 3 shows an oblique view from below of the holding device from Fig. 1 .
[0086] In a further aspect, the invention also includes a magnetic coil assembly 13 with a holding device 10 as described above and comprising a magnetic coil 30 held by the holding device 10.
[0087] Also included in the invention is an actuator 12, in particular for a braking system of a motor vehicle, comprising at least one magnetic coil assembly 13 as described above.
[0088] Fig. 4 shows a side sectional view of the holding device 10 from Fig. 1 in an installed state in an actuator 12, which is only shown in a section. In the illustration, the solenoid assembly 13 is mounted on a valve assembly 50 of the actuator 12.
[0089] Fig. 5 shows another side sectional view of a section of an actuator 12. Shown here are additional components of the actuator 12, which also require electrical contact with a printed circuit board (not shown). A further contact pin 42 is shown here purely as an example. Due to shape and position tolerances of the individual components, the distance between the two contact pins 40, 42 may be greater than required for mounting the printed circuit board.
[0090] In the assembled position, the solenoid coil 30 can be operatively connected to a solenoid armature with a valve stem. The solenoid armature can be arranged to be movable in the axial direction. The valve stem can be connected to a valve closing body, which can close flow channels. During operation, the valve closing body can then be moved in the axial direction, and the contact pins can be guided through corresponding through-holes in the circuit board, thereby establishing electrical contact.
[0091] The invention provides a corresponding compensation for this purpose, which enables the assembly of a printed circuit board in the assembly direction indicated by "M." The holding device according to the invention enables adjustment in the plane defined by "x" and "y" perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the holding device 10, and the elongated press-in zones of the contact pins enable compensation for shape and position deviations in the assembly direction indicated by "z."
[0092] A particularly preferred embodiment of the invention is shown in Fig. 6, which depicts an oblique view of the base body 20 from below. In this illustration, the holding device 10 is shown without a magnetic coil 30 inserted into the base body 20.
[0093] The lower, second leg element 23 comprises, on the underside facing away from the first leg element 22, a side surface with at least one surface region 29 having a surface whose mean roughness Ra differs from the mean roughness values of the other side surfaces. In the exemplary embodiment, the mean roughness Ra is at least 10 pm, preferably at least 15 pm, and particularly preferably at least 20 pm. The mean roughness Ra is furthermore at most 50 pm, preferably at most 40 pm, and particularly preferably at most 30 pm. In the exemplary embodiment, this surface region comprises almost the entire lower side surface, although this is not mandatory for the invention. This surface region 29 is arranged such that it comprises the region which forms a common contact surface with the base plate 32 of the coil housing 37 when the magnetic coil 30 is inserted into the holding device 10.
[0094] The particular advantage of this increased roughness compared to the other side surfaces arises during or after the assembly of the magnetic coil assembly. By pressing on or in place, the downward-facing side surface with the aforementioned surface area 29 of the second, lower leg element 23 and the base plate 32 are pressed together in the contact area, whereby the increased roughness creates a significantly increased static friction, which counteracts further radial displacement of the magnetic coil and holding device. This increased static friction leads to sufficient fixing of the magnetic coil 30 by the holding device 10 in the radial direction. The magnetic coil 30 is then fixed in all three spatial directions after the pressing-on process is complete, and the assembly of further components, for example a printed circuit board, can take place.
[0095] It may already be sufficient if the surface area 29 has a small extension of at least 1 cm 2, preferably at least 2 cm 2 and particularly preferably at least 3 cm 2 , 4 cm 2 , 5 cm 2 or more. Of course, the surface area 29, as shown in Fig. 6, can also completely encompass the side surface.
[0096] In the illustrated embodiment, the lower side surface of the base body 20 is completely roughened, which can be easier to achieve from a manufacturing perspective than partial roughening. The desired surface quality can be achieved particularly easily, for example, by rolling or roughing.
[0097] The static friction can be further increased if the base plate 32 is made of a slightly ductile material, such as plastic or aluminum. In the exemplary embodiment, the base plate 32 is made of plastic.
[0098] The remaining side surfaces of the base body 20 can have a lower roughness, which can result, for example, from manufacturing, for example a mean roughness Ra of less than 10 pm, preferably less than 9 pm and particularly preferably less than 8 pm.
[0099] The coil housing 37 has a slot for receiving the leg element 23, which is formed between the windings 34 and the base plate 32.
[0100] Alternatively or additionally, it may also be provided to form the contact area of the base plate 32 with the increased roughness as described above and in this way to increase the static friction.
[0101] Fig. 7 shows a further oblique view of the base body 20 from below with an inserted magnetic coil 30. The surface area 29 with increased roughness comprises, as also shown in the example of Fig. 6, the lower side surface of the second leg element 23.
[0102] Fig. 8 shows an oblique view from above of another, particularly preferred holding device 10 with a magnetic coil 30 inserted into a base body 20.
[0103] This illustration shows the lugs 26 of the lower leg element 23 that support the pressing action. Additionally, the upper leg element 22 is formed with recesses 38 corresponding to the lugs 26 to create space for a pressing tool. In this way, the pressing tool can interact directly and linearly with the lugs 26 in the axial direction during pressing or pressing on, which is considered very advantageous.
[0104] Also included in the invention in yet another aspect is a method for assembling a magnetic coil assembly 13, in particular a magnetic coil assembly 13 as described above, preferably for producing an actuator 12, comprising the following steps:
[0105] - Providing a solenoid coil assembly 13,
[0106] - Aligning and adjusting the magnetic coil 30 in the radial direction in the holding device 10, preferably by means of an adjustment tool 44, - Placing the magnetic coil assembly 13 in the intended mounting area of the actuator 12,
[0107] - axially pressing or pressing the holding device 10, preferably onto a press fit on or in the mounting area of the actuator 12, preferably with a pressing tool,
[0108] - Remove the pressing tool and / or the adjusting tool 44.
[0109] The adjustment tool 44 can continue to be used for adjustment and fixing during the pressing process and can only be removed after the press connection has been completed.
[0110] A circuit board, for example, can then be mounted in the axial direction.
