Description

RELAY DEVICE, POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND VEHICLETechnical Field

[0001] The present disclosure relates to the field of electric power control, in particular to a relay device, a power distribution system and a vehicle. Background Art

[0002] With the widespread use of relay devices in civil and commercial fields, relay devices are facing stricter requirements. At present, relay devices generally only contain a load interface and a signal interface; the relay device is connected to an external load via the load interface, and receives a control signal via the signal interface. However, when it is necessary to measure a load interface voltage during operation of the relay device, an external voltage detection circuit must generally be additionally connected, but this increases the circuit complexity of the relay and associated circuitry as well as the operating complexity during voltage detection, making rapid and efficient voltage detection difficult; moreover, such an arrangement results in a lower degree of integration of structural modules of the relay device, making it difficult to realize the various functions of the relay device.

[0003] Thus, there is a need for a relay device which, while realizing a relay function of the relay device effectively, is able to integrate multiple interfaces in the relay device, in particular a voltage detection interface, such that the relay device has a higher degree of integration, and is able to realize various functions (e.g. load connection, signal communication and voltage detection) more effectively.Summary

[0020] The technical solution in embodiments of the present disclosure will be described clearly and completely below with reference to the drawings. Obviously, the embodiments described are merely some, not all, of the embodiments of the present disclosure. All other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art on the basis of embodiments of the present disclosure without inventive effort shall also fall within the scope of protection of the present disclosure.

[0021] As indicated in the present disclosure and claims, unless expressly specified otherwise in the context, words such as "a" , "one" , "one type" , and / or "said” do not specifically mean the singular, but may also include the plural. Generally, the terms "comprise" and "include" only indicate the inclusion of expressly identified steps and elements, but these steps and elements do not constitute an exclusive list, and a  method or device may also include other steps or elements.

[0022] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a relay device 100 is proposed. Fig. 1 shows a 3D drawing of a relay device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0023] Referring to Fig. 1, the relay device 100 comprises: a relay body 110, a load interface 120, a signal interface 130 and a voltage detection interface 140.

[0024] It should be understood that the relay device 100 is an electric control device that subjects a controlled circuit to on / off control, based on an input variable. It should be understood that embodiments of the present disclosure are not restricted with regard to the specific type of the relay device 100.

[0025] The relay body 110 is a body component used to form the relay device, and may for example comprise a relay housing and a relay circuit packaged inside the housing, etc.

[0026] The load interface 120 is disposed on the relay body 110, and is configured to be electrically connected to an external load.

[0027] It should be understood that the load interface is a relay interface for electrical connection to an external load, and may for example take the form of relay contact points, or may have another form. Embodiments of the present disclosure are not restricted with regard to the specific form and structure of the load interface.

[0028] The external load is a load component in a circuit connected to the relay. For example, multiple relays may be provided in a power distribution circuit of a motor vehicle, to realize power on / off control of multiple electric power distribution branches. Components including the engine, electric motor, vehicle control unit or other components to be supplied with power are for example connected in the various electric power distribution branches, and all of these components may act as the load component. It should be understood that embodiments of the present disclosure are not restricted with regard to the specific composition of the external load.

[0029] The signal interface 130 is disposed on the relay body 110, and is configured to receive a control signal which controls a working state of the relay device 100.

[0030] It should be understood that the signal interface is an interface used to realize  communication of the relay, and may for example be configured to receive a control signal from an external circuit or a remote control end, and adjust the working state of the relay on the basis of the control signal. For example, the signal interface may receive a start control signal for enabling operation of the relay, or may receive a stop control signal for stopping operation of the relay. It should be understood that embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited with regard to the type of the specific control signal received by the signal interface.

[0031] In some embodiments, the signal interface may for example also be configured to transmit a feedback signal of the relay device to the external circuit or remote control end, so as to realize bidirectional transmission of signals.

[0032] The voltage detection interface 140 is disposed on the relay body 110, and is configured to output a voltage detection signal identifying a voltage of the load interface 120.

[0033] The voltage detection interface is an interface used for outputting a voltage detection signal, the voltage detection signal being able to identify a voltage of the load interface 120. Specifically, the voltage detection signal may for example be an interface voltage measured directly via the load interface (for example, the load interface is in the form of two contact points, and for example, a voltage between the two contact points may be measured directly, and used as the voltage detection signal) , or the voltage detection signal may be a voltage signal outputted after further processing of a detected voltage.

[0034] For example, the voltage detection interface may for example be electrically connected to the relay load interface; for example, when the load interface is in the form of two contact points, the voltage detection interface may be electrically connected to the two contact points, and acquires a voltage of the relay load interface by measuring a voltage between the two contact points. However, it should be understood that embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited to this.

[0035] As explained in detail below, the voltage detection interface and the signal interface may for example be two separate interface components, or may be integrated as a single interface component.

[0036] Based on the above, in comparison with an existing relay device that only  integrates a load interface and a signal interface, as a result of providing the load interface, signal interface and voltage detection interface on the relay body simultaneously in the present application, the relay device in the present application has a higher degree of integration due to the integrated configuration of multiple interfaces (in particular, integrating the voltage detection interface) while effectively realizing the relay function of the relay device. This expands the functionality (load connection, signal communication and voltage detection) of the relay device itself, and effectively overcomes the problems of cumbersome circuit structure and complex operating procedure caused by the need to further connect an external voltage detection circuit to detect a voltage in an existing relay device, thus making the relay device more convenient and reliable in use.

[0037] In some embodiments, the voltage detection interface 140 is operably electrically connected to a relay detection device.

[0038] The relay detection device is a device that tests the relay. The voltage detection interface may be electrically connected to the relay detection device, so as to transmit the voltage detection signal to the relay detection device, and the relay detection device may for example perform further processing on the basis of the voltage detection signal, e.g. determine an operating state of the relay, whether a working state of the relay load interface is normal, whether a contact point has melted through, etc.

[0039] It should be understood that embodiments of the present disclosure are not restricted with regard to the specific way in which the relay detection device subsequently performs processing on the basis of the voltage detection signal.

[0040] Based on the above, in the present application, configuring the voltage detection interface to be operably electrically connected to the relay detection device makes it possible to electrically connect the voltage detection interface to the relay detection device according to actual needs, so as to perform subsequent processing and discrimination on the basis of the voltage detection signal. Thus, it is easier to promptly and flexibly perform testing and corresponding processing of the relay device, improving the reliability thereof.

[0041] In some embodiments, referring to Fig. 1, the voltage detection interface 140  and the signal interface 130 are two separate interface components.

[0042] Here, “two separate interface components” means that the voltage detection interface 140 and the signal interface 130 are formed as two mutually independent interface components.

[0043] Configuring the voltage detection interface and the signal interface as two separate interface components makes it possible to integrate multiple interfaces on the relay device in a simple and convenient way, and increases the flexibility with which the voltage detection interface and the signal interface can be positioned relative to one another.

[0044] Fig. 2 shows a schematic drawing of a voltage detection interface in the form of an electrical connector socket 141 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the voltage detection interface 140 is in the form of the electrical connector socket 141, and the voltage detection interface 140 is connected to the relay detection device via an electrical connection structure.

[0045] For example, referring to Fig. 2, the electrical connector socket 141 is for example electrically connected to the load interface via cables inside the relay, so as to acquire a voltage detection signal, and the voltage detection interface 140 in the form of the electrical connector socket 141 may for example be electrically connected to the relay detection device by means of an electrical connection structure.

[0046] It should be understood that the electrical connection structure is a structure used to realize an electrical connection between the electrical connector socket 141 and the relay detection device, and may for example be an electrical connector plug and a connecting cable connected to the electrical connector plug, wherein the electrical connector plug mates with the electrical connector socket 141, and the connecting cable connected to the electrical connector plug is electrically connected to the relay detection device. However, it should be understood that embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited with regard to the specific structural configuration of the electrical connection structure.

[0047] Based on the above, in the present application, by configuring the voltage detection interface to be in the form of an electrical connector socket and connected  to the relay detection device via an electrical connection structure, the voltage detection interface can be configured in a simple and convenient way; moreover, the voltage detection interface in the form of the electrical connector socket can be adapted to a corresponding electrical connector plug to realize signal transmission, without the need to custom-make a specific connection structure. Thus, the relay device has higher portability and is more adaptable.

[0048] In some embodiments, the electrical connection structure is connected to the electrical connector socket 141 by snap-fitting.

[0049] Configuring the electrical connection structure to be connected to the electrical connector socket 141 by snap-fitting enables the stability and reliability of the electrical connection to be increased, thereby ensuring that the voltage detection signal is outputted reliably.

[0050] Fig. 3 shows a 3D drawing of a relay device 100 according to a variant of an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to Fig. 3, in some embodiments, the voltage detection interface 140 and the signal interface 130 are integrated as a single interface component 150.

[0051] Having the voltage detection interface and the signal interface integrated as a single interface component means that the voltage detection interface 140 and the signal interface 130 are integrated in the same interface component, e.g. as two secondary interface components of this interface component.

[0052] Based on the above, configuring the voltage detection interface and the signal interface to be integrated as a single interface component makes it possible to further increase the component compactness of the relay device, thus making the interface structure layout of the relay device more rational and increasing the degree of integration.

[0053] Fig. 4 shows a 3D drawing of the relay device 100 according to Fig. 3, viewed from another angle. Referring to Fig. 4, in some embodiments, when the voltage detection interface 140 and the signal interface 130 are integrated in the same interface component, the voltage detection interface 140 comprises a connector base part 142 connected to the relay body 110 and a connector head part 143 connected to an output cable 144.

[0054] The connection seat is a component used for connecting the voltage detection interface 140 to the relay body 110; when the voltage detection interface 140 and the signal interface 130 are integrated in the same interface component, the voltage detection interface 140 and the signal interface 130 share the same connection seat 142.

[0055] The connector head part 143 is a connection terminal for output by the voltage detection interface 140; the connector head part 143 is for example disposed on an upper surface of the connector base part 142, and is connected to the output cable 144. The other end of the output cable may for example be connected to an external device, e.g. the relay detection device, so as to output the voltage detection signal.

[0056] Based on the above, by configuring the voltage detection interface to comprise the connector base part connected to the relay body and the connector head part connected to the output cable, the configuration of the voltage detection interface on the relay device can be achieved effectively; moreover, the configuration of the connector base part, the connector head part and the output cable makes it easier to rationally configure the structure of the voltage detection interface, so that the structure is made more compact while enabling transmission of the voltage detection signal.

[0057] In some embodiments, the voltage detection interface 140 is configured to transmit a high-voltage DC signal, and the signal interface 130 is configured to transmit a low-voltage DC signal.

[0058] It should be understood that the high-voltage DC signal may for example be a 400 V voltage signal, or, depending on actual needs, may be a voltage signal in the range of 400 V -800 V. Embodiments of the present disclosure are not restricted with regard to the specific value of the high-voltage DC signal.

[0059] It should be understood that the low-voltage DC signal may for example be a voltage signal in the range of 3 V -5 V, or may be a voltage signal in the range of 10 V -12 V. Embodiments of the present disclosure are not restricted with regard to the specific value of the low-voltage DC signal.

[0060] Based on the above, configuring the voltage detection interface to transmit a high-voltage DC signal and configuring the signal interface to transmit a low- voltage DC signal makes it possible to transmit electrical signals of different types effectively, based on the configuration of the different interfaces, thus making it easier to realize the various functions of the relay device.

[0061] According to another aspect of the present disclosure, a power distribution system 200 is proposed, characterized in that the power distribution system 200 comprises the relay device 100 described above, and has the functions described above.

[0066] Based on the above, the vehicle can realize the functions of the relay device and the power distribution system described above, and has the advantages mentioned above.

[0067] The present disclosure uses specific words to describe embodiments of the present disclosure. For example, "first / second embodiment" , "an embodiment" and / or "some embodiments" refer to a feature, structure or characteristic relevant to at least one embodiment of the present disclosure. Therefore, it should be stressed and noted that "an embodiment" , "one embodiment" or "an alternative embodiment" mentioned two or more times in different places herein does not necessarily refer to the same embodiment. In addition, certain features, structures or characteristics in  one or more embodiments of the present disclosure may be combined appropriately.

[0068] Unless otherwise defined, all of the terms (including technical and scientific terms) used herein have the same meanings as those commonly understood by those skilled in the art. It should also be understood that terms such as those defined in a common dictionary should be interpreted as having the same meanings as they have in the context of the related art, rather than being interpreted in an idealized or extremely formalized sense, unless expressly so defined herein.

[0069] The above is a description of the present disclosure and should not be regarded as limiting same. Although a number of exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure have been described, those skilled in the art will readily understand that many modifications may be made to the exemplary embodiments without departing from the novel teaching and advantages of the present disclosure. Therefore, all such modifications are intended to be included within the scope of the present disclosure as defined by the claims. It should be understood that the above is a description of the present disclosure, and should not be deemed to be limited to the specific embodiments disclosed; in addition, modifications to the disclosed embodiments and other embodiments are intended to be included within the scope of the attached claims. The present disclosure is defined by the claims and their equivalents.
