Description

[0001] BEAM CANTILEVER CARRIER IN AUTO CARRIERS

[0002] Field of the Invention

[0003] The invention relates to a beam cantilever carrier for the connection of at least two longitudinal beams and at least four beam cantilevers carrier (bollard cantilevers) in vehicles such as car carriers, trailers, trailer car (bogy) and truck superstructures.

[0004] The invention particularly relates to a beam cantilever carrier which prevents the formation of a gap between the roof and the beam carrier system, enables the roof lifting systems operating on the beam carrier system to be easily intervened, eliminates the problems encountered in assembly with its simple structure and reduces production costs.

[0005] State of the Art

[0006] In the case of car carrier vehicles designed as a truck-trailer concept, there are situations where the vehicle must be enclosed around the vehicle and the roof for sealing, such as the standard awning concept. Designed as a truck-trailer concept, pallet loads can be carried in addition to car carrier vehicles. Accordingly, the internal clear height of these standard tilt trailer vehicles can be increased to increase the pallet load volume.

[0007] In existing applications, water tightness is an important problem when it is desired to carry pallet loads as well as automobiles in car carrier vehicles designed as truck-trailer concepts. In the existing systems, since the tarpaulin cannot be brought to the end of the beam cantilever carrier, there is a gap between the roof and the beam carrier system and in this case, water tightness cannot be ensured. To ensure water tightness, an additional plate is currently used on the roof to close the gap between the roof and the bollard cantilever. However, this plate adversely affects the movement of the roof over time, rubbing on the bollard cantilever, it can rise and fall with the roof and cause damage to the beam cantilever carrier and eventually cause the roof system to be locked.

[0008] In the car carrier vehicles designed as a truck-trailer concept in the current art, the tarpaulin tensioning slots cannot be integrated into the beam carrier cantilevers and are mounted to the beam carrier cantilever as a separate part. This causes extra labour, material costs and extra weight. On the other hand, in the existing car carrier vehicles, the door hinges are connected to the parts welded on the beam cantilever carrier by welding method. This causes extra material wastage, labour time and weight due to the welded materials. For this reason, the need to eliminate the problems experienced in the known state of the art has arisen.

[0009] The document numbered GB2123355 can be cited as an example of the state of the art in the literature research. The said document relates to the load carrier. The invention discloses a carrier comprising a floor for carrying the load, a roof with a gap above the floor, and at least one curtain internally connected to the roof at the edges of the roof. Said curtain can be connected to the floor at the edges of the floor or at the edges of the floor in an internally selectable manner. However, due to the fact that the curtain cannot be brought up to the beam cantilever carrier, there is no mention of a structure for closing the gap between the roof and the beam cantilever carrier.

[0010] As a result of the aforementioned problems and the inadequacy of the existing solutions, it became necessary to carry out an improvement in the relevant technical field.

[0011] Purpose of the Invention

[0044] In this detailed description, preferred alternatives of the beam cantilever carrier of the invention are described only for the purpose of a better understanding of the subject matter and without any limiting effect.

[0045] Figure 1 shows the perspective view of the beam cantilever carrier of the present invention. Accordingly, the beam cantilever carrier comprises in its most basic form; a cantilever sheet (10) in a twisted structure, a bearing plate (20) connected to the cantilever sheet (10), a lower support plate (30) connected to the cantilever sheet (10), a box profile (40) connected to the cantilever sheet (10), a first connection part (50) and a second connection part (60) mutually connected to the cantilever sheet (10), cantilever connection plate (70) connected on the first connection part (50) and the second connection part (60), centering bush (80) connected on the cantilever connection plate (70), tarpaulin tensioning plate (90) connected to the end of the cantilever sheet (10), tensioning profile (100) located in the cantilever sheet (10), door hinge (110) connected to the side surface of the cantilever sheet (10).

[0046] The cantilever sheet (10) the main structure of the beam cantilever carrier of the present invention has a twisted structure as shown in Figures 2 and 3, and has a tarpaulin working cavity (11) on one side and an equipment working cavity (13) on the other side. At the same time, there is a hinge fixing surface (12) on the outer side surface of the tarpaulin working cavity (11). The door hinge (110), which enables the door to be fixed movably to the cantilever sheet (10), is attached to the hinge fixing surface (12).

[0047] The tarpaulin working cavity (11 ) ensures that both the tensioning profile (100) and the tarpaulin fixing profiles at both ends of the vehicle tarpaulin operate without exceeding the width of the vehicle. With the help of the tarpaulin working cavity (11 ), the tarpaulin can be worked on the cantilever sheet (10) without the need for additional parts. Said tensioning profile (100) enables the tarpaulin to be stretched. The equipment working cavity (13) is the section where the bearing plate (20) and box profile (40) are fixed on the cantilever sheet (10), as seen in Figure 4.

[0048] The bearing plate (20), fixed to the equipment working cavity (13) on the cantilever sheet (10), ensures the bearing of the sliding plates in the vehicle and the support of the cantilever sheet (10).

[0049] The lower support plate (30) is connected to the cantilever sheet (10), which enables the cantilever sheet (10) to be supported.

[0050] The box profile (40) fixed to the equipment working cavity (13) on the cantilever sheet (10) provides support for the bollard cantilever in the vehicle and at the same time protects the hydraulic cylinder in the vehicle.

[0051] The first connection part (50) and the second connection part (60), which are connected to each other on the cantilever sheet (10), provide the necessary working cavity for fixing the beam cantilever carrier to the vehicle. The cantilever connection plate (70), which connects the beam cantilever carrier subject to the invention to the vehicle, is connected on the first connection part (50) and the second connection part (60). There is at least one centering bush (80) on the cantilever connection plate (70), which enables axis adjustment during the fixing of the beam cantilever carrier to the vehicle.

[0052] The tarpaulin tensioning plate (90), which provides the connection of the tarpaulin tensioning arm in the vehicle, is connected to the end of the cantilever sheet (10).

[0053] With the help of the equipment working cavity (13) located on the cantilever sheet (10) in the beam cantilever carrier of the present invention, the work areas are separated from each other without the use of extra material. At the same time, with the help of the tarpaulin working cavity (11), the tarpaulin can be operated without the use of additional parts. In addition, with the help of the hinge fixing surface (12) on the outer side surface of the tarpaulin working cavity (11 ), the door hinges (110) can be connected when necessary without using additional materials. The tarpaulin working cavity (11) and the hinge fixing surface (12) support the cantilever sheet (10) by increasing the strength of the cantilever sheet (10).
