AI Technical Summary
Existing footwear cleaning systems are inefficient in removing waste from the sides of shoes, often leading to pollution and require frequent liquid replenishment due to lack of filtration, which limits their effectiveness and longevity.
A system utilizing a container with an inclined abrasive floor and a filter mesh, where water flow drags and dilutes waste, allowing for in situ cleaning of footwear surfaces and edges, with recirculated water and filtration to separate solids from liquids.
Effectively removes waste from footwear surfaces and edges without polluting the surroundings, reduces liquid saturation, and allows for continuous operation with efficient filtration and recirculation of water, enhancing cleaning efficiency and sustainability.

Abstract
Description
[0001] In-situ cleaning system for shoe plants using friction and residue removal using water flow
[0002] DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY
[0003] Description of what is known in the field:
[0004] Keeping the sole of footwear clean is essential to ensure a longer lifespan for building floors, as well as saving energy and the inputs required for cleaning activities.
[0005] Currently, there are elements or systems that tend to meet this objective. Among these, we can mention some such as SPIKE / SHOE CLEANER US 7,930,789 B2, an invention that does not allow cleaning the sides of shoes and whose working speed of the brush must be limited since, above certain magnitudes, the extracted residues, both liquid and solid, are released, contaminating the surroundings and the clothing of the person wearing the footwear. There are also surfaces that are used for these purposes, such as the invention FLOOR MATTING EP 2 091 405 Bl, but which have a limited effect since the residues accumulate and require permanent removal. Another example of an invention intended to satisfy the need for footwear cleaning is the APPARATUS FOR CLEANING AND SANDING SHOES US 8,161,590 B2, whose brushes must be handled below certain speeds, otherwise they will come loose, with the consequences indicated above. This system also uses liquids to remove residue from footwear. Since it lacks a filtration system, the liquid quickly becomes saturated, and the reservoir becomes insufficient under very intensive use conditions. Otherwise, when solids are separated by filtration, the resulting water can be immediately released onto surfaces or into conduits, as is the case with the present invention.

[0011] Detailed description of the invention:
[0012] The present invention relates to a system that allows the in situ cleaning of the sole of shoes using friction with a rough surface and dragging residues by means of water flow. It contemplates a square or rectangular water container (1). Inside it is located an inclined base (2) above the level of the water deposited in the container (1). The inclined base (2) covers the entire interior surface of the container (1), except in the lower part where there is a connection with the latter (1). The inclined base rests on the container (1) or on platforms that extend to the outside of the container (1). On this inclined base (2) is placed an abrasive floor (3), which facilitates the removal of residues from the sole of the shoes by means of friction. This abrasive floor (3) covers the entire surface of the inclined base (2) and the interior edges of the container (1) that are above the inclined base (2).On the abrasive floor (3), in the highest area, a conduit (4) is placed that will spill water evenly, which by the effect of gravity will circulate towards the lower part of the inclined base (2). In this route it will drag and dilute the residue that is deposited on the abrasive floor (3) in the process of cleaning the footwear, consisting of the wearer of the footwear rubbing the base of it against the abrasive floor (3). To clean the edges of the footwear, it will be scrubbed on the wall of the abrasive floor (3) formed on the inner edge of the container (1). The invention contemplates a cylindrical tower (5) superficially covered with abrasive material over which water will also circulate and which is located centrally on the inclined base (2) whose purpose is mainly to facilitate the cleaning of the inner edges of the footwear, generally of curved lines. Both the water from the conduit (4) and the water from the cylindrical tower (5) will be supplied by recirculated water from the tank (1) or by water from an external source. On the other hand, the tank (1) connects to a water pump (6) for recirculation and to an outlet for final evacuation. Between the inclined base (2) and the container (1) a filtering mesh (7) is fixed that will capture all the water with residues that are dragged from the abrasive floor (3) so that it retains the larger particles.
[0013] To clean the system, both the abrasive floor (3) and the filter mesh (7) are removed and the residues deposited in them are poured.
