Abstract
The present invention relates to a smart robot for self-shopping and escorting, comprising: a robot (100) enhanced with artificial intelligence (AI) and linked to a human owner (111) by a peripheral device (115), the robot being powered by electrical, solar or kinetic energy (108) that it stores in a battery (105). The robot is provided with a multitasking technological sensor to perform self-directed field assignments and manouevre or move around with a human companion (103), and carries items (110) in its hand and in a basket (102). The robot is equipped with an interactive display (101) that includes technological media input / output modules, and modules for transmitting and receiving short- and long-range communications (SRC-LRC), which are connected to identity and identification reading devices (IIRD) with an e-payment feature (112), and an image output device for outputting an image of an object to be bought, to help the buyer identify the object (113). The robot identifies objects and items using a camera (106) and transmits them to units (109) for electronic processing and storage of sensory information and data, for subsequent use when moving around autonomously or accompanied, using communication technologies through wireless geospatial navigation systems (GPS-GNS). The robot can speak to the buyer by means of a natural language input / output processing module (104). The robot is also equipped with an augmented-virtual-mixed (AR-VR-MR) reality device (107) to help learn to simulate new environments when in an environment not previously recognised, or to allow the robot to be personally remote controlled through a robot body interface and guided by a human companion (114) with or without disabilities, using one or more application programme interfaces (APIs) (116).
