Abstract
Description
[0001] EQUIPMENT FOR COMBINING AND DIFFUSION OF MULTIPLE FRAGRANCES OR AROMAS AND SIMILAR.
[0002] BRIEF PRESENTATION
[0003]
[0001] This patent application relates to equipment for combining and diffusing multiple fragrances, aromas, and similar products. The equipment features a mobile structure with a linear drive system and transmission mechanism, as well as an air insufflation system, allowing users to create personalized fragrance combinations from a variety of individually scented capsules. The equipment for combining and diffusing multiple fragrances or aromas, which is the subject of the present invention, is designed to prevent cross-contamination between fragrances and ensure consistent and uniform release, offering users an authentic olfactory experience, as it utilizes the concept of "dry scent."
[0004] FIELD OF INVENTION
[0005]
[0002] The invention that motivates the present application has its field of application focused on perfumery industries, more particularly, intended for the demonstration and experimentation of fragrances or aromas, and may also act in the field of beauty and well-being products.
[0006] STATE OF THE TECHNIQUE
[0007]
[0003] The current state of the art anticipates some patent documents related to equipment for dispensing fragrances and aromas, such as document BR 102019019346-8, published on March 30, 2021, and granted on June 6, 2023, which was filed by the inventor himself. Namely, the granted application relates to an electromechanical device for demonstrating multiple invented fragrances or aromas, which is nothing more than a compact electronic catalog capable of offering the user a "dry" olfactory experience of different fragrances or aromas. The device in question consists of a box with a movement mechanism comprising a carousel, which holds from one to one hundred cartridges containing fragrances or aromas, properly packaged in a cylindrical absorbent element. When triggered via the app, the device causes the selected cartridge, housed in the carousel, to rotate, thanks to an electric motor with a reduction gear, towards the connecting nozzle. Through a mechanical actuator driven by an electric motor, gears, and racks, the cartridge is pushed into the connecting nozzle, where it receives a flow of air from a compressor. This, when passed through a flexible hose, forces the elastomeric projections that function as a one-way valve, thus filling the cartridge and releasing only the gaseous portion of the fragrance into the upper outlet of the cartridge itself, thus enabling a reliable olfactory experience. Thus, when the cartridge is moved forward, its cap, which incorporates the one-way valve, displaces the pivoting handle, which in turn releases the fragrance or aroma into the outlet.Once the experiment is complete, the cartridge returns to its original position. At this point, the pivoting handle also returns, closing the outlet opening of the box and cartridge, preventing the fragrances / aromas from mixing. Each fragrance or aroma is housed in a cartridge (refill), and these cartridges are arranged on a carousel, with each cartridge capable of delivering over 30 shots (experiments). The cartridges are easily replaced, as they are fitted into the carousel and accessible through a refill window outside the housing.
[0008]
[0004] However, the inventor in question noted the need to continue contributing to and progressing technologically in the field of fragrance or aroma experimentation. However, without raising any objections to his application, which has already been granted and was mentioned above.
[0009]
[0005] In this vein, the inventor is willing to explain the differences contained in the patent application in question, in relation to application BR 102019019346-8, already granted.
[0010]
[0006] For example, in the present invention, air inflation occurs by means of two air blowers, with propellers, and also having a set of flexible hoses connected to rear and front air inflation devices, equipped with air inlet connectors, being interconnected in triangular-shaped disperser holes. In application BR 102019019346-8, there is only a single flexible hose, which inflates air into the capsule by means of a single compressor.
[0011]
[0007] In the present invention, there are three rotating drums, which may be constituted by three or more rotating drums, which are synchronized and aligned by rotation sensors and electromagnets from an application, in which said drums have hollow housings to provide the insertion of a plurality of capsules. It should be noted that the rotating drums allow the air inlet connectors of the air inflation devices to enter the capsules, sometimes to inflate air, sometimes to diffuse the fragrances mixed and selected by the user, by means of angled dispersing nozzles, which, for this purpose, have an innovative linear drive system and transmission mechanism.
[0012]
[0008] In application BR 102019019346-8, there is only one 360° horizontal carousel, having a single connector nozzle attached to a single positioning sensor, which counts the turns of the electric motor shaft, having a mechanical actuator formed by an electric motor, a gear that acts on a rectilinear rack that, in turn, activates a drag rod, which pushes and then retracts the cartridge, into the interior of said connector nozzle, together with the air flow coming from a single flexible hose, from where the air blown by a compressor enters said cartridge, forcing the emission of the smell through the outlet hole in the box lid.
[0013]
[0009] Furthermore, the capsules in application BR 102019019346-8 have a triangular prismatic shape, with a closed bottom, having a valve. In the present invention, the capsules take the rectangular prismatic shape, obtaining a hollow core, which allows the valve to be used both in the front and back of the capsule, precisely so that the air insufflation system and linear drive system can operate, until the fragrances are diffused by said angled dispersing nozzles.
[0014]
[0010] In other words, it is clear that the present invention proposes equipment for combining and diffusing multiple fragrances or aromas and the like, comprising significant advances in relation to application BR 102019019346-8, whether in terms of diffusing "N" fragrances with better quality. In view of the fact that application BR 102019019346-8 generates only up to 100 (one hundred) types of fragrances or aromas, as in the operational mode.
[0011] Furthermore, the prior art anticipates some patent documents related to equipment for providing fragrances and aromas, such as document US 5167877A entitled "Air purifier with perfume dispensing control" - used in the air purification sector, the equipment described releases different perfumes, through the passage of air from a pump, to the previously selected perfume cartridge and consequent release of the perfume into the environment. It uses a solenoid air pump and an electromagnet-driven carousel.
[0015]
[0012] However, the prior art concerns a device that does not have a user-friendly interface due to the lack of electronics, which would allow commands through applications and control of the intensity and range of the perfume emission. Furthermore, mechanically, the prior art presents construction complexity, as it consists of many components, in addition to requiring a solenoid pump of considerable power, given the fact that air is pumped into the liquid medium (perfume) to produce bubbles and thus carry the aroma to the outlet orifice.
[0016]
[0013] It has been proven that systems that use bubbling to effectively entrain the aroma do not provide a good olfactory experience. Furthermore, mechanically, the previous version has a rotating table driven by an electromagnet, while the return to the starting point is achieved by springs. The mechanism is imprecise and subject to wear, for example, in the springs, which, when they lose elasticity, will increase the inaccuracy or cause malfunctions. Finally, the construction complexity and excess components can cause defects due to handling during demonstration, in addition to making its dimensions somewhat bulky.
[0017]
[0014] Document US 2004 / 0241053 A1, entitled “Apparatus for dispensing volatile material into the environment” - used in the air scenting sector. The equipment consists of a set of elements, with perfume arranged on a rotating disc, so that when the chosen element is positioned, an air flow generated by a blower passes through the element, carrying the perfume into the environment. The document mentions a heating element for the perfumes to facilitate volatilization. The disc positioning system is electronic and controlled by sensors, motors and electronic circuits.
[0018]
[0015] It is known that heating perfumes alters their character, as it releases more volatile notes first. Another drawback is the excessive number of mechanical components, such as gears, shafts, and couplings, which result in a device of considerable volume, in addition to making assembly difficult and operation susceptible to component defects or breakage.
[0019]
[0016] WO02 / 09776 A2, entitled “System and methods for dispensing scents into the environment, and for providing scent-containing articles of manufacture" - the equipment described belongs to the sector of dispensing multiple volatile products into the environment, including perfumes. A disk receives several cartridges containing the volatile substances. An electronic system that can be controlled from a computer, or directly on the equipment, positions the chosen cartridge and by means of heating and passage of air from a fan, the substance is released into the environment.
[0020]
[0017] As in the previous document, the use of heating to release fragrances decharacterizes the substances due to the premature evaporation of more volatile notes. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0021]
[0018] The present invention patent application refers to equipment for combining and diffusing multiple fragrances or aromas and the like, which comprises a casing composed of a linear drive system, which is formed by a transmission mechanism comprised of a motor gear and driven gears interconnected in bidirectional shafts, in which said bidirectional shafts are connected to a "U" support, connected to a mobile structure equipped with a sliding element, which runs along a linear guide, and also has position sensors, which delimit the forward and backward movement of said linear drive system.

[0047] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0048]
[0037] The EQUIPMENT FOR COMBINING AND DIFFUSION OF MULTIPLE FRAGRANCES OR AROMAS AND THE LIKE, which is the subject of this patent application for invention, consists of equipment (1) for combining and diffusing multiple fragrances or aromas and the like. The system (1) comprises a housing (2) composed of a front wall (3) and a lower base (4), which housing (2) comprises a linear drive system (SL), which is formed by a transmission mechanism (MT) configured by an electric motor (5) supported by a bearing (6), which electric motor (5) drives a motor gear (7), which is interspersed with driven gears (8). Both driven gears (8) are anchored in roller bearings (9), being interconnected in bidirectional shafts (10), which act and pass through threaded flanges (11) located in a "U" support (12), which is fixed to a mobile structure
[0049] (13).
[0050]
[0038] The "U" support (12) is incorporated by a rear air inflation device (27), being integrated into an air inflation system (SIA). The "U" support (12), in turn, is anchored in the mobile structure (13) by means of guide shafts (16), which pass through the rear wall (14) and are fixed to the front wall (15) of the mobile structure (13).
[0051]
[0039] Next, said bidirectional shafts (10) pass through the rear wall (14) of the mobile structure (13), being supported in threaded flange bearings (17), which are fixed at the centered ends of the mobile structure (13), while the bidirectional shafts (10) pass through the front wall (15) of said mobile structure (13), being then connected to bearing flanges (18), which are fixed to the front wall (3) of the housing (2).
[0052]
[0040] The mobile structure (13) is anchored to a sliding element (19), which runs along a linear guide (20) fixed to the lower base (4) of the housing (2), allowing it to perform a forward and backward movement. The lower base (4), in turn, accommodates two position sensors (SP), which are located below the mobile structure (13), in order to detect the forward and backward position of said mobile structure (13), through the actuation of the linear drive system (SL).
[0053]
[0041] In time, the rear wall (14) of the mobile structure (13) receives the attachment of motors (M), which are responsible for rotating the triangular module of rotating drums (MTR), being, more precisely, formed by an upper left rotating drum (21), an upper right rotating drum (22) and a lower rotating drum (23), which are fixed by means of bearing shafts (24), both on the rear wall
[0054] (14), as in the front wall (15) of the mobile structure (13). In time, both the upper left rotating drum (21), as well as the upper right rotating drum (22) and the lower rotating drum (23), which configure the rotating drum module (MTR), are comprised of a plurality of hollow housings (25) and front recesses (26).
[0042] Furthermore, the upper left rotation drum (21), the upper right rotation drum (22) and the lower rotation drum (23) have cylindrical seats (46), which accommodate electromagnets (47) that communicate with rotation sensors (SR) supported on supports (48) fixed to the upper part of the mobile structure (13), also having a rotation sensor (SR1) included in a lower opening (A) of the rear wall (14) of the mobile structure (13), being located below the lower rotation drum (23), to communicate with the rotation sensor (SR1) included in the lower opening (A).
[0055]
[0043] The air insufflation system (SIA) is formed by the rear air insufflation device (27) incorporated in the "U" support (12), being comprised of connecting ducts (28) interconnected in triangularly configured dispersing orifices (ODA). Furthermore, the rear air insufflation device (27) receives the coupling of an air inlet connector (29), which is coupled by a transverse flexible hose (31A), connected in a bifurcated joining element (30). The bifurcated joining element (30), in turn, is connected in two transverse flexible hoses (31B), being interconnected in air blowers (32) equipped with propeller propellers (33), being fixed in support elements (34) supported in the lower base (4) of the casing (2).
[0056]
[0044] The air insufflation system (SIA) also comprises a rear air insufflation device (35), which comprises connecting ducts (36) interconnected in triangularly configured dispersing orifices (ODB), and fixed in an opposing manner to angled dispersing nozzles (37), in a closing profile (38) of the casing (2).
[0057]
[0045] The equipment (1) for combining and demonstrating multiple fragrances or aromas and the like, is also configured by capsules (39) being configured by a rectangular prismatic shaped body (PR) provided with an internal hollow channel (40), so that the internal hollow channels (40) receive flexible one-way valves (41) provided with elastomeric headers (42), which comprise converging flexible reeds (43), both at the front end (44) and at the rear end (45). In this way, the capsules (39) can store "N" types of fragrances or aromas.
[0058]
[0046] Furthermore, the capsules (39) are introduced into the hollow housings (25) of the upper left rotation drum (21), the upper right rotation drum (22) and the lower rotation drum (23), with their displacement path limited in the hollow housings (25), by means of their projections (P), which access the front recesses (26) of the upper left rotation drum (21), the upper right rotation drum (22) and the lower rotation drum (23), in addition to assisting in the exchange of said capsules (39).Once this is done, the flexible one-way valves (41) are incorporated into both the front end (44) and the rear end (45) of the rectangular prismatic shaped body (PR) of the capsules (39), facing the connecting ducts (28) interconnected to triangularly configured dispersing orifices (ODA) of the rear air insufflation device (27), as well as to the connecting ducts (36) interconnected to triangularly configured dispersing orifices (ODB) of the front air insufflation device (35).
[0059] Operation
[0060]
[0047] The equipment (1) connects to a computerized system, wired or wireless, which is controlled by means of an application, being able to locate and combine the desired fragrances, which are stored in the capsules (39) inserted in the hollow housings (25) of the upper left rotation drum (21), the upper right rotation drum (22) and the lower rotation drum (23).
[0061]
[0048] In this way, the user selects and combines the desired fragrances through the computerized system, controlled by an application. Then, after the user selects and combines the fragrances in the computerized system, the rotation sensors (SR) and the rotation sensor (SR1) of the triangular module of rotating drums (MTR), through communication with the electromagnets (47) and the motors (M), synchronize the upper left rotating drum (21), the upper right rotating drum (22) and the lower rotating drum (23) causing the capsules (39) with the fragrances selected by the user to align with the connecting ducts (28) interconnected in triangularly configured dispersing holes (ODA) of the rear air insufflation device (27) and with the connecting ducts (36) interconnected in triangularly configured dispersing holes (ODB) of the front air insufflation device (35).
[0062]
[0049] Next, the transmission mechanism (MT) of the linear drive system (SL) is actuated, allowing the mobile structure (13), which houses the triangular module of rotating drums (MTR), to be withdrawn by means of the bidirectional shafts (10) of the linear drive system (SL), until the connecting ducts (28) interconnected in triangularly configured dispersing orifices (ODA) of the rear air insufflation device (27) enter the flexible one-way valves (41) incorporated in the rear ends (45) of the capsules (39), included in the hollow housings (25) of the upper left rotating drum (21), the upper right rotating drum (22) and the lower rotating drum (23), whose withdrawal limit of the mobile structure (13) of the linear drive system (SL), is given by the position sensors (SP).
[0050] Furthermore, when the connecting ducts (28) enter the one-way flexible valves (41) located at the rear ends (45) of the capsules (39), causing the opening of the converging flexible blades (43) of the selected capsules (39), the air inflation system (SIA) inflates air by means of its air blowers (32) and its propeller propellers (33), inside the capsules (39) with the fragrances selected by the user in the computerized system.
[0063]
[0051] After air is insufflated into the selected capsules (39), the transmission mechanism (MT) of the linear drive system (SL) is activated again, allowing the mobile structure (13) to be advanced by means of the bidirectional shafts (10) of the linear drive system (SL), whose advancement limit of the mobile structure (13) is given by the position sensors (SP). Then, until the connecting ducts (36) interconnected in triangularly configured dispersing orifices (ODB) of the previous air insufflation device (35) enter the one-way flexible valves (41) incorporated in the front ends (44) of the selected capsules (39), the emission of the smell of the mixture of fragrances chosen by the user occurs, by means of the angled dispersing nozzles (37), providing the user with an authentic olfactory experience, since it uses the concept of “dry smell”.This is because the exhalation system doesn't involve heating, preventing the fragrance from becoming defaced by evaporating the more volatile notes. When the user wants to try a new fragrance or aroma, they simply select it in the app, and the device proceeds to select the new chosen fragrance.
