Abstract
Description
[0001] METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ELIMINATION OF ASYMMETRY OF THE PELVIS, JOINTS AND MUSCLES
[0002] The invention relates to medicine, namely to diagonal traction, kinesio and manual therapy, osteopathy, and restorative medicine. It can be used to treat and correct displacement and distortion of the pelvis and to eliminate the consequences of functional distortion of the pelvis, shoulder and knee joints.
[0003] In a complex of medical and preventive sports activities for improving the health of the human body, as well as in the field of medical and sports exercise machines.
[0004] A method for improving the health of the spine and joints is known (Patent for Invention No. 2545447, A61H 1 / 00, published on March 27, 2015) using a device for improving the health of the spine and joints (Patent for PM No. 137194, IPC A61F5 / 00, published on February 10, 2014). The method includes expanding the intervertebral spaces with derotation of the vertebrae using a device for improving the health of the spine and joints, containing a wedge-shaped device made sliding from two semi-wedges adjacent to each other with flat sides. However, the known method and device have a number of disadvantages:
[0005] This method is not very effective, as it does not provide long-term results and does not eliminate the asymmetry of muscle groups in any plane in relation to the spine.
[0006] A method for improving the health of the spine and joints with multi-plane deformation and a device for improving the health of the spine and joints with multi-plane deformation are known
[0007] SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) (Patent for Invention No. 2644267, published 08.02.2018, IPC A 61F5 / 61, A61H 7 / 00). First, the ligament-tendon apparatus is relaxed, the spaces between the transverse processes of the vertebrae are increased, they are aligned in the frontal plane, then the rotation of the vertebral bodies is eliminated by acting on the spinous processes, then retrolisthesis is eliminated and the displaced spinous processes are aligned in the sagittal plane, the remaining rotation is eliminated by acting on the transverse processes. To implement the methods, the proposed device is used, which contains removable and insertable stops and wedges.
[0008] The known technical solution has the following disadvantages: it is not very effective, since it does not provide a long-term result and does not eliminate the cause of the disease (asymmetry of muscle groups in relation to the spine in any plane).
[0009] The objective of the proposed invention is to eliminate the shortcomings of the prototype, namely, to increase the effectiveness of the therapeutic effect to eliminate the asymmetry of the pelvis, joints and muscle groups in relation to the spine.
[0010] The technical result is a more effective symmetrical alignment of body parts, groups of joints, and a reduction in tissue trauma due to the distribution of the forces of impact of the biomechanical parameters of the human skeleton.
[0011] The problem is solved by the fact that the method for eliminating the asymmetry of the pelvis, joints and muscles in relation to the spine, including the performance of exercises, consists in laying the patient on his back on the bed of the device and fixing the right leg with a belt, with the left leg with a straightened knee the patient makes abducting vertical movements, providing resistance in the direction from top to bottom, then fixing the left leg with a belt, and with the right leg with a straightened knee the patient makes abducting
[0012] SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) vertical movements, providing resistance in the direction from top to bottom, then lift the patient into a sitting position, fix the patient's left hip joint in a sitting position in the recess in the end part of the device and make swinging movements of the upper body with a fixed position to the right side, the patient clasps his hands on the back of his head and touches his left knee with his right elbow, then fix the patient's right hip joint in a sitting position in the recess in the end part of the device and make swinging movements of the upper body with a fixed position to the left side, the patient clasps his hands on the back of his head and touches his right knee with his left elbow, then in a kneeling position on the bed of the device, secure the lower leg with a belt, and place the patient's feet in the hole in the middle between the two parts of the bed and make a backward movement with outstretched arms and a thrown back head and without changing the position lower the patient into a sitting position on his knees, then, without changing the vertical position, begin to lift the patient to a kneeling position and without stopping, bending the back outward, the patient's head touches the bed, the upper body is lifted in the reverse order, then, using a pair of vertical posts with rubber straps and cuffs in the patient's kneeling position on the bed, fix the arms and, with a straight back, perform vertical movements with the upper body up and down at an angle of 45 degrees, then, using a pair of vertical posts in the prone position, using rubber straps with fixing cuffs, bend the left leg at the knee joint and make a lifting movement with the leg up, at the same time, with the right hand bent at the elbow, fix the body on the bed and bring the leg to its original position, then, using a pair of vertical posts in the prone position, using rubber straps with fixing cuffs, bend the right leg at the knee joint and make a lifting movement with the leg up,at the same time, with the left hand bent at the elbow, fix the patient's body on the bed and bring the leg to its original position,
[0013] SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) position, the course of eliminating asymmetry is completed upon reaching the ratio of parameters in accordance with figure 17: A1=A2; B1=B2; B1=B2; G1=G2; D1=D2 and B1; B2; D1; D2 should be symmetrical to the axis of the spine C.
[0014] The set task is also achieved by performing osteopathic massage before performing the exercises.
[0015] The stated task is achieved in that the device for eliminating the asymmetry of the pelvis, joints and muscles in relation to the spine, which is a couch and used to implement the method, includes a base, a frame with adjustable supports, a bed containing head and torso parts and a frame lifting and lowering drive, wherein the frame is pivotally connected to the base by two pairs of vertical posts and contains two pairs of removable horizontal posts at the head and foot ends, the head part of the bed has an opening for the face, the torso part of the bed is provided with fixation elements in the middle part, and in the end part - a recess for fixing the hip joint, into which a removable insert is placed flush.
[0016] The stated objective is also achieved by the fact that the fixation elements are sling straps for fixing at least the left and right legs and feet.
[0017] The set task is also achieved by the fact that it contains foot pedals for controlling the level of raising and lowering the bed, connected to the drive for raising and lowering the frame.

[0037] The method of eliminating the asymmetry of the pelvis, joints and muscles in relation to the spine is a set of actions in which tension and relaxation of the opposite muscles, ligaments and joints are performed. Techniques are carried out aimed at removing metabolic products from the muscles and performing a set of physical exercises for the necessary muscle groups. The stages of therapy are performed in the form of exercises on the stated couch. The first stage is to overcome the opposing force, the second stage is exercises to overcome the force of gravity of one's own body. This method includes a load on the muscles and joints by performing a set of special physical exercises and massage procedures. At the same time, intermuscular coordination is corrected and strength endurance is restored. The next stage includes exercises for stretching the muscles, forming biomechanical correct movement with constant control of muscle work. The next stage of exercises is to develop the strength endurance of the muscles that support the diagonal and natural position of the joints, and to strengthen intermuscular coordination.
[0038] The device for carrying out the above method is a couch having a frame 1 equipped with a pair of supports 2 connected to each other by upper crossbars 3, the lower part of the supports also has longitudinal and transverse crossbars 4. The frame 1 is designed with the possibility of horizontal reciprocating movement (lowering and raising) due to the presence of an electric drive 5, the first end of which is pivotally connected to the frame 1. On the frame 1 there is a bed, which has a head part 6 and a body part 7 (can be supplemented with a removable panel 7a). The head part 6 has an opening for the face 8. The body part 7 has elements for
[0039] SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) fixation (belts): belt for fixing the right leg 9, belt for fixing the left leg 10, belt for fixing the feet 11. At its end, the torso section 7 has a recess for fixing the hip joint 12, which is formed when the insert 13 is removed. A pair of removable vertical posts 14 equipped with belts and cuffs for fixing the arms and legs of patients can be additionally inserted into the frame 1 in the leg section. Parts 6 and 7 of the bed are located at a small distance from each other. The couch is equipped with foot pedals for controlling the level of raising and lowering the bed, connected to the drive for raising and lowering the bed frame (the position on the drawings is not assigned).
[0040] An example of a specific application of the method and device.
[0041] The method for eliminating asymmetry of the pelvis, joints and muscles in relation to the spine is carried out as follows:
[0042] - at the beginning of the appointment, we diagnose the patient by visually and palpating the position of anatomical landmarks from the ankle joint to the cervical spine and, if any abnormalities are detected, we determine the sequence of further actions.
[0043] - then we use techniques aimed at removing metabolic products from the muscles and performing a set of physical exercises for the necessary muscle groups. We perform the stages of therapy in the form of exercises on the declared device - a couch. We load the muscles and joints by performing a set of special physical exercises and massage procedures. At the same time, we correct intermuscular coordination and restore strength endurance.
[0044] 1. The patient is placed on his back on bed 6 and the right leg is secured with belt 10, while the left leg with the knee straight is used to make vertical abducting movements (the patient
[0045] SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) provides possible resistance) at a possible angle from top to bottom (Fig. 4).
[0046] 2. Next, the left leg is fixed with belt I, and with the right leg and straightened knee, vertical abducting movements are performed (the patient provides possible resistance) at a possible angle.
[0047] 3. Raise the patient to a sitting position. Fix the patient's left hip joint in a sitting position (with the feet facing the face opening) in recess 13 and perform swinging movements of the upper body with a fixed position to the right side, clasp the hands at the back of the head (at the end of the amplitude, the patient should touch the left knee with the right elbow) with the right leg slightly raised above the couch, (Figs. 5 - 6)
[0048] 4. Fix the patient's right hip joint in a sitting position, with the legs (towards the opening for the head) in recess 13 and perform swinging movements of the upper body with a fixed position to the left side, clasp the hands at the back of the head (at the end of the amplitude, the patient touches the right knee with the left elbow) with the right leg slightly raised above the couch (Figs. 7 - 8).
[0049] 5. In the kneeling position on the bed 6 of the couch, secure the lower leg with the fixing elements of the belt 12, and place the patient's feet in the opening between the parts of the couch 7 and 8, with arms extended and head tilted back, move backwards as far as possible and, without changing the position, begin to slowly lower the patient into a sitting position on his knees (Fig. 9 - 10).
[0050] 6. Next, without changing the vertical position, begin to slowly lift the patient to a kneeling position and without stopping (with the head down and arms extended up) without changing the vertical position of the patient's legs, bending the back outward, the patient's head touches the couch. Raising the upper part
[0051] SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) of the body is made in the reverse order (Fig. I-13).
[0052] 7. Using a pair of vertical posts 15 with rubber straps and cuffs, with the patient kneeling on the couch, fix the arms and, with the back straight, begin slow vertical movements of the upper body up and down at a 45-degree angle (Fig. 14 - 15).
[0053] 8. Using a pair of vertical posts 15, in a prone position, using rubber straps with fixing cuffs, bend your left leg at the knee joint and perform a lifting movement with your leg upwards, preferably to the possible result, while at the same time, with your right hand bent at the elbow, fix your body on the couch, having achieved the result, slowly returning your leg to its original position (Fig. 16).
[0054] 9. Using a pair of vertical posts 15, in a prone position, using rubber straps with fixing cuffs, bend the right leg at the knee joint and perform a lifting movement with the leg upwards, preferably to the possible result, while at the same time, with the left hand bent at the elbow, fix the patient's body on the couch, having achieved the result, slowly return the leg to its original position (Fig. 16).
[0055] 10. The ratio of parameters: A1=A2; B1=B2; B1=B2; G1=G2; D1=D2 should be equal respectively and all parameters should be symmetrical to the axis of the spine C.
[0056] 11. The next stage of exercises is to develop the strength endurance of the muscles that support the diagonal and natural position of the joints, and to strengthen intermuscular coordination.
[0057] 12. Subsequently, a visual and palpatory determination of the position of anatomical landmarks from the ankle joint to the cervical spine is carried out, and if any violations of their
[0058] SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) is eliminated by diagonal traction action using correction belts.
[0059] During repeated examinations, they make sure that the disorders have been eliminated and the effect is stopped. They perform sets of exercises of diagonal traction therapy in such a way as to even out the ratio and imbalance of muscle tone. During repeated examinations, the state of muscle tone is monitored at each session and, if it is diagonally aligned, the treatment procedure must be performed at least ten times.
[0060] The use of the method of restoring and aligning the ratios of biomechanical parameters of the human musculoskeletal system using traction effects and eliminating the asymmetry of the pelvis, joints and muscle groups in relation to the spine in any plane allows for the selection of individual programs of personal therapy to eliminate asymmetrical positions and asymmetrical loads on the muscles of the lower extremities of the hip, knee and ankle joints of biomechanical disorders of the human skeleton.
[0061] This therapy, together with the use of the proposed device, is aimed at restoring joint function; due to the dosed tension, the effectiveness of the effect lies in the fact that the joint moves with a diagonal amplitude.
