Description

SEMI-CONTINUOUS CONCRETE PAVEMENT CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM, WITH SLABS CAST IN SITU, PROVIDED WITH A LOAD TRANSMISSION SYSTEM ON A DRAINING FOUNDATION OR NATURAL FOUNDATION FIELD OF INVENTION

[0001] The present invention describes a concrete pavement construction system with cast-in-situ slabs equipped with a load transmission system. More specifically, it comprises cast-in-situ pavement slabs on a draining or natural foundation, equipped with load transmission bars or load transmission plates combined with a joint inducer. This joint inducer is equipped with a blade-shaped concrete slab base protector that prevents deterioration of the load transmission bar abutment area, thus preventing erosion of the slab base and the creation of future differential settlement at the joint axis. It also features a removable upper profile that allows for greater speed and freedom during on-site assembly.

[0002] This new construction method brings considerable manufacturing savings, enormous economic, construction and technical advantages, especially on unstable and water-permeable soils, in the execution of pavements molded “in situ”, intended for the construction of roads, ports, airports, railways and industrial areas. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003] The use of concrete pavements in construction is widespread because concrete is a dynamic element with long-lasting characteristics. However, its manufacture and molding require high levels of care and quality control. due to the initial effort of its physical and chemical elements (retraction).

[0004] The present invention brings load transmission elements that, due to the fact that they are placed at the base of the slabs, eliminate the tensions by anchoring the load transmission elements, freeing the slabs from horizontal forces, avoiding the occurrence of cracking during the shrinkage phenomenon that creates fractures in the slabs in 90% of cases in conventional transmission systems.

[0005] It also allows the installation of pavements on unstable and water-permeable soils, through a draining foundation made of materials such as EPS, XPS, rubber waste, steel slag, etc. The main advantages of its use are its high resistance to deformation, effective stress distribution, greater abrasion resistance, high adhesion, high safety rate and long service life.

[0006] Currently, there are essentially seven (07) systems on the market for the assembly of concrete pavements intended for the construction of roads, ports, airports, railways, and industrial areas. Typically, these pavements are constructed by preparing the ground to receive the formwork and hardware for subsequent concrete pouring.

[0007] However, these current construction systems entail several costs due to the various stages involved in construction, which makes the manufacture of these traditional floors considerably more expensive.

[0008] Thus, the present inventor, seeking to solve this market problem, developed a concrete pavement manufacturing system that uses slabs molded “in situ”, equipped with bars or load transmission plates that allow greater speed in the manufacture of concrete pavements.

[0009] In research carried out on the state of the art, we identified several documents that claim a concrete pavement manufacturing system, of which we can highlight the following documents:

[0010]

[0008] Document BR1 12016026917-9, from the same holder, which describes and claims load transmission bars anchored in concrete slabs that create support between them, forming semi-rigid joints, which accompany differential settlements of the foundation bed, due to a rotation in the vertical direction, about the axis of the joints and transmitting load from one slab to the other, ensuring perfect leveling of their surfaces, when elastic movements of the foundations are observed, allowing, through the telescopic effect of the bars, the possibility of removing the slabs at any time and reusing them again. The telescopic function of the bar that allows support between slabs created the possibility of obtaining prefabricated floors that are easy to manufacture and assemble in situ.

[0011] Therefore, the present inventor, seeking to perfect and improve the way of manufacturing concrete pavements, developed a new slab molded in situ, equipped with transmission bars or plates on a draining foundation that allows greater stability of the foundations and pavement as well as greater speed in assembly and greater economy, optimizing the construction process.

[0012] Thus, the object of the present invention is a process for constructing concrete pavement with slabs cast in situ, equipped with a load transmission system comprising pavement slabs cast in situ equipped with load transmission bars or a combination of plates and load transmission bars. Combined with the joint inducer and upper removable profile, these allow for greater speed and freedom in in-situ construction. The use of draining foundations allows for pavement stability in low-resistance or water-permeable soils. This new construction method offers considerable manufacturing savings and enormous economic, construction, and technical advantages in the assembly of in-situ molded pavements for the construction of roads, ports, airports, railways, and industrial areas. PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION The present invention encompasses a concrete pavement construction system with cast-in-situ slabs, equipped with load-transmitting elements comprising concrete slabs, load-transmitting bars / plates, and lower and upper joint inductors (upper removable profile) that allow for greater safety, speed, economy, and freedom in in-situ construction. The use of this new system with draining foundations allows construction in areas previously rejected for not offering secure foundations. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0035] The concrete pavement construction system with precast slabs equipped with a load transmission system, the object of The present invention comprises a precast slab (100) equipped with a set of transmission bars (10) or a set of transmission plates (20), combined with a joint inducer (30) and an upper removable profile (40).

[0036] The set of transmission bars (10) has a bar (1 1 ) equipped with an anchoring rod (12) that has a profile (12A) for aligning and positioning the joint inductor and a transverse rod (13) for vertical balance in the alignment of the bars equipped with a ring (13A) for aligning the bar in order to allow fixing by means of a nail (13B) in a vertical position, said bar (1 1 ) that is anchored in the slab (100) through the rod (12) in order to keep part of the bar (1 1 A) exposed for the arrangement and assembly of the joint inductor (30), as detailed in figures 1 , 2 and 3.

[0037] In a second construction modality, the bar (10) equipped with an anchor bar (12) has a profile (12B) for aligning and positioning the joint inductor, allowing the use of taller inductors (30A) corresponding to the greater thickness of slabs, ensuring effective separation in the axis of the joints of the tension areas caused by the shrinkage of the concrete, as demonstrated in figures 4, 5 and 6.

[0038] The transmission plate assembly (20) has a plate (21) equipped with an anchoring arch (22) that has a profile (22A) for aligning and positioning the joint inductor, which allows the assembly (20) to be anchored to the slab (100) in order to keep part of the plate (21 A) exposed for the arrangement and assembly of the joint inductor (30), with the exposed part being equipped with a fixing opening (23) that allows the alignment and assembly of the slabs “in situ”. The plate assembly (20) allows the irregularity of the base of the foundations, in order to maintain perfect alignment during the assembly and construction process, as detailed in figures 7, 8 and 9.

[0039] This “in situ” construction system can use bars (10) and plates (20) on the same slab or independently, depending on the usage requirements.

[0040] The joint inductor (30) has a base (31) for protecting the transmission bar (1 1 A), a taller vertical blade (32) for joint induction and a spacing (33). The rod (31) is positioned over the exposed part (1 1 A) of the transmission bar (1 1) keeping the vertical blade (32) positioned next to the face of the slab (100) in order to maintain the spacing (33) between the joint of the slabs (100), protecting the transmission bar.

[0041] The inductor (30) adds in an effective, economical and easy-to-use way a welded protection to the base of the inductor with material of the same nature, as described in figures 10, 1 1 and 12. This joint inductor (30) is equipped with a protector for the base of the concrete slab.

[0042] The removable profile (40) is equipped with a T-shaped profile that is positioned between the joints of the slabs (100). This profile (40) can be placed before the slab is concreted or immediately after it is concreted. Its function is to section the concreting corridor to create individual slabs. This profile ensures precise coincidence with the existing joint inductor, thus reducing errors due to delayed sawing of the aforementioned concreting corridors, which could create cracks and parasitic shrinkage joints, thus rendering the quartering of the aforementioned slabs, as described in figures 13 and 14.

[0043] Figures 15 and 16 demonstrate the application of the semi-continuous concrete pavement construction system, with slabs cast in situ equipped with a load transmission system through bars (10) or plates (20) applied on a draining foundation.

[0044] The draining foundation has a slope (50) equipped with a geotextile blanket (51) and drainage pipes (52) to allow the positioning of the slabs (100) equipped with the system of bars (10) or plates (20) for load transmission.
