Abstract
Description
Methods and electronic devices for providing pages
[0001] Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and an electronic device for providing a page. More specifically, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and a device for providing a specific page that includes information about some of the items included in a list of items related to another page when a request for a specific page is received.
[0002] As internet use becomes more widespread, the e-commerce market is expanding. While the proportion of customers visiting offline stores to purchase products is declining, the proportion of customers purchasing products through e-commerce using computers or smartphones is rapidly increasing. Users who purchase products through e-commerce may tend to purchase items they add to their shopping carts. Encouraging customers to add items to their carts can significantly increase sales.
[0003] The present disclosure proposes to address the aforementioned issues, and provides a method and electronic device for providing pages. The technical challenges addressed by the present embodiment are not limited to the aforementioned technical challenges, and other technical challenges can be inferred from the following examples.
[0004] As a technical means for achieving the above-described task, a method for providing a page in an electronic device according to a first aspect of the present disclosure may include the steps of: receiving a request for a first page from a user's terminal; identifying a first item included in a first item list related to the first page; identifying a second item that satisfies a set condition among items included in a second item list related to a second page; and providing a first page including a first area where information about the first item is displayed and a second area where information about the second item is displayed.
[0005] According to one embodiment, the step of verifying the second item may include the step of verifying the second item based on a discount amount of an item included in the second item list.
[0006] According to one embodiment, the step of verifying the second item may include a step of verifying the second item based on a discount period of an item included in the second item list.
[0007] According to one embodiment, the step of verifying the second item may include the step of verifying the second item based on the inventory quantity of items included in the second item list.
[0008] According to one embodiment, the step of checking the second item may include a step of checking a second item corresponding to the category of the first item among the items included in the second item list when the first item included in the first item list is out of stock.
[0009] According to one embodiment, the information about the second item may include at least one of image information about the second item, information about the remaining period of the discount period of the second item, information about the discount amount of the second item, information about the stock quantity of the second item, information about the category of the first item, or information about the category of the second item.
[0010] In one embodiment, information about the remaining period may be displayed differently in the second area depending on whether the remaining period exceeds the set first period.
[0011] According to one embodiment, when an item satisfying a set condition among the items included in the second item list is identified as a plurality of items, the second item may be determined as one item among the plurality of items based on at least one of a discount period corresponding to each of the plurality of items or a time point at which each of the plurality of items was added to the second item list.
[0012] According to one embodiment, when multiple items are identified among the items included in the second item list that satisfy the set condition, the second item may be randomly determined as one of the multiple items.
[0013] In one embodiment, when the second item is identified as a plurality of items, information about the plurality of items may be displayed sequentially in the second area.
[0014] According to one embodiment, when the second item is identified as a plurality of items, information about the plurality of items displayed in the second area may include image information of each of the plurality of items.
[0015] According to one embodiment, when there is a third item that satisfies a set condition among items that have passed a second period of time since being added to the first item list, information about the third item may be displayed in the second area.
[0016] According to one embodiment, a method for providing a page may further include the steps of: re-receiving a request for a first page from a terminal when no user input is received through a second area; identifying a fourth item that satisfies a set condition among items included in a second item list; and providing a first page including a second area in which information about the fourth item is displayed, wherein the fourth item may be a different item from the second item.
[0017] According to one embodiment, the method for providing a page may further include the step of providing a second page in response to receiving a user input through a second area, and information about the second item may be displayed at a first location on a display of the terminal.
[0018] According to one embodiment, the method for providing a page may further include a step of providing a second page in response to receiving a user input through a second area when the second item is a plurality of items, and information about one item identified based on at least one of a discount period or a time point added to the second item list among the plurality of items may be displayed at a first position of a display of the terminal.
[0019] According to one embodiment, the first item list may correspond to a list of items included in a cart, the second item list may correspond to a list of items wished by the user, the first page may be a page displaying information about items included in the cart, and the second page may be a page displaying information about items included in the wish item list.
[0020] In one embodiment, the first page may correspond to the first tab of the third page, and the second page may correspond to the second tab of the third page.
[0021] An electronic device for providing a page according to a second aspect of the present disclosure includes a transceiver; one or more processors; and a storage for storing one or more commands executed by the one or more processors, wherein the one or more processors can receive a request for a first page from a user's terminal by executing the one or more commands, identify a first item included in a first item list related to the first page, identify a second item that satisfies a set condition among items included in a second item list related to a second page, and provide a first page including a first area in which information about the first item is displayed and a second area in which information about the second item is displayed.
[0022] A recording medium according to the third aspect of the present disclosure may be a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a program for causing a computer to execute a method of providing a page performed by an electronic device.
[0023] According to an embodiment of the present specification, when an electronic device receives a request for a specific page from a user's terminal, the electronic device may perform an operation of checking a first item included in a first item list related to the specific page, as well as an operation of checking a second item that satisfies a set condition among items included in a second item list related to another page. Accordingly, the electronic device may provide a specific page including a first area where information about the first item is displayed and a second area where information about the second item is displayed. Accordingly, the user may check information about the second item to be displayed on another page as well as information about the first item through the specific page.

These computer program instructions can also be stored in a computer-available or computer-readable memory that can direct a computer or other programmable data processing equipment to implement the functions in a specific manner, so that the instructions stored in the computer-available or computer-readable memory can also produce a manufactured item that includes an instruction means for performing the functions described in the flow diagram block(s). Since the computer program instructions may be installed on a computer or other programmable data processing device, a series of operational steps may be performed on the computer or other programmable data processing device to create a computer-executable process, and the instructions that cause the computer or other programmable data processing device to perform the steps for performing the functions described in the flowchart block(s) may also provide steps for performing the functions described in the flowchart block(s).
[0042] Additionally, each block may represent a module, segment, or portion of code that contains one or more executable instructions for performing a specific logical function(s). It should also be noted that in some alternative implementation examples, the functions described in the blocks may occur out of order. For example, two blocks depicted in succession may actually be executed substantially concurrently, or the blocks may sometimes be executed in reverse order, depending on their respective functions.
[0043] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[0044] FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating a system in which a method for providing pages by an electronic device according to various embodiments can be implemented.
[0045] Referring to FIG. 1, the system (10) according to various embodiments may be implemented by various types of devices. For example, the system (10) may include an electronic device (100) and a terminal (110). The system (10) illustrated in FIG. 1 only illustrates components related to the present embodiment. Therefore, those skilled in the art related to the present embodiment will understand that, in addition to the components illustrated in FIG. 1, other general-purpose components may be included.
[0046] Each of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) may include a transceiver, storage, and a processor. In addition, each of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) refers to a unit that processes at least one function or operation, which may be implemented by hardware, software, or a combination of hardware and software. Meanwhile, throughout the embodiments, each of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) is referred to as a separate device or server, but this may be a logically divided structure, and at least some of them may be implemented by a separate function in one device or server.
[0047] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) may include a plurality of computer systems or computer software implemented as network servers. For example, at least some of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) may refer to a computer system and computer software that are connected to a lower device that can communicate with other network servers through a computer network such as an intranet or the Internet, receive a task execution request, perform the task accordingly, and provide the execution result. In addition, at least some of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) may be understood as a broad concept that includes a series of application programs that can operate on a network server, and various databases built on other internal or connected nodes. For example, at least some of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) may be implemented using a network server program that is variously provided according to an operating system such as DOS, Windows, Linux, UNIX, or MacOS.
[0048] The electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) can communicate with each other through a network (not shown). The network includes a local area network (LAN), a wide area network (WAN), a value-added network (VAN), a mobile radio communication network, a satellite communication network, and a combination thereof, and is a comprehensive data communication network that allows each network component shown in FIG. 1 to communicate smoothly with each other, and may include wired Internet, wireless Internet, and mobile radio communication networks. Wireless communication may include, but is not limited to, wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth, Bluetooth low energy, Zigbee, Wi-Fi Direct (WFD), ultra wideband (UWB), infrared communication (IrDA, infrared Data Association), NFC (Near Field Communication), etc., for example.
[0049] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) may receive a request for a first page from a user's terminal (110), check a first item included in a first item list related to the first page, check a second item that satisfies a set condition among items included in a second item list related to the second page, and provide a first page to the terminal (110) that includes a first area where information about the first item is displayed and a second area where information about the second item is displayed.
[0050] Here, the first page displays information about items included in the user's cart and may be referred to as a "cart page." The first page may be a page displayed on the terminal (110) immediately before the purchase page for purchasing items included in the cart. Furthermore, the first item list may be a list of items included in the cart and may be referred to as a "cart item list." Since items included in the first item list displayed on the first page can be easily purchased through the purchase page, they may be classified as items with a relatively high probability of being purchased by the user.
[0051] The second page displays information about items included in the wish item list and may be referred to as a wish item page. The second page may be a page for adding items included in the wish item list, for which a user input has been received, to the first item list. The second item list may be a list of items added to the user's wish list and may be referred to as a wish item list. The items included in the second item list may be items that can be purchased through a purchase page for purchasing items included in the first item list after being added to the first item list. In other words, the items included in the second item list may be classified as items that are less likely to be purchased by the user than the items included in the first item list.
[0052] As the electronic device (100) provides a first page including information about a second item, a user of the terminal (110) can add the second item to the first item list. Since the items in the first item list including the added second item can be purchased through a purchase page, the amount of item sales through the e-commerce service can increase as the electronic device (100) provides a first page including information about the second item.
[0053] Figure 2 is a flowchart illustrating how an electronic device provides a page.
[0054] Referring to FIG. 2, it can be clearly understood that some of the operations of the electronic device (100) providing a page may be changed or substituted or some of the order between the operations may be changed within a range clearly understood by a person having ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention pertains.
[0055] In step S210, the electronic device (100) can receive a request for a first page from the user's terminal (110).
[0056] In step S220, the electronic device (100) can check the first item included in the first item list related to the first page.
[0057] According to one embodiment, the first page related to a request received from the user's terminal (110) may be a cart page displaying information about items included in the cart corresponding to the user. The first page may be a page displayed on the terminal (110) prior to the purchase page for purchasing items included in the cart.
[0058] According to one embodiment, before providing the first page to the terminal (110), the electronic device (100) may check information about the first item included in the first item list to be displayed on the first page. The first item may include items added to the cart item list through various pages. For example, in response to a user input to an add to cart icon included in a page such as a single detail page or a wish item page, the corresponding item may be added to the cart item list.
[0059] In step S230, the electronic device (100) can check a second item that satisfies a set condition among the items included in the second item list related to the second page.
[0060] In one embodiment, the first page and the second page may be distinct, separate pages. However, the first page and the second page are not limited to being separate pages. For example, the first page and the second page may correspond to separate tabs within the same page.
[0061] According to one embodiment, items included in the first item list may be classified as items with a high probability of being converted into purchases by the user. In other words, including items not included in the first item list in the first item list may effectively induce purchases of the items. In this regard, the electronic device (100) may identify a second item that satisfies a set condition among the items included in the second item list related to the second page. Here, the set condition may relate to a criterion for selecting an item with a relatively high probability of being included in the first item list among the items included in the second item list. The set condition may be composed of multiple conditions. For example, the set condition may include a first condition, a second condition, a third condition, and a fourth condition.
[0062] For example, a first condition among the set conditions may be to identify a second item among the items included in the second item list based on the discount amount. Specifically, items included in the second item list with a discount amount greater than the set amount may be identified as the second item.
[0063] As another example, a second condition among the set conditions may be to identify a second item among the items included in the second item list based on the discount period. Specifically, among the items included in the second item list, an item whose remaining period (e.g., 3 days) of the discount period (e.g., from July 1 to July 31) is less than or equal to the set period (e.g., 4 days) may be identified as a second item.
[0064] As another example, the third condition among the set conditions may be to identify a second item among the items included in the second item list based on the stock quantity. Specifically, items included in the second item list whose stock quantity is less than or equal to a set quantity (e.g., 10) may be identified as the second item.
[0065] As another example, the fourth condition among the set conditions may be to identify items in the second item list that fall into the same category as the first item when the first item in the first item list is out of stock. Specifically, items in the second item list that have the same item identification number (e.g., item ID) as the out-of-stock first item may be identified as the second item.
[0066] According to one embodiment, among the items included in the second item list, there may be multiple items that satisfy a set condition. In this case, all of the multiple items that satisfy the set condition may be displayed on the first page, or only some of the multiple items that satisfy the set condition may be displayed on the first page. Here, displaying all of the multiple items on the first page may include not only displaying information about the multiple items simultaneously on the first page, but also displaying information about the multiple items sequentially on the first page.
[0067] When multiple items satisfying a set condition are all displayed on the first page, the order in which the multiple items are displayed on the first page may be randomly determined. However, the order in which the multiple items are displayed on the first page is not limited to being randomly determined. For example, the order in which the multiple items are displayed on the first page may be optimized based on the user's purchase history. For example, when the user is identified as a user with a high probability of purchasing items with a high discount amount or discount percentage, the item among the multiple items that satisfies the first condition may be identified as the item to be displayed first on the first page. When the user is identified as a user with a high probability of purchasing items with an imminent remaining discount period, the item among the multiple items that satisfies the second condition may be identified as the item to be displayed first on the first page. As another example, the order in which the multiple items are displayed on the first page may be based on the order in which they were most recently added to the second item list. For example, the item among the multiple items that was most recently added to the second item list may be identified as the item to be displayed first on the first page.
[0068] When 'one' item among multiple items that satisfy a set condition is displayed on the first page, the item displayed on the first page may be randomly determined. Alternatively, the item displayed on the first page may be determined based on the user's purchase history. When the user is identified as a user with a high probability of purchasing an item whose remaining discount period is approaching, the item displayed on the first page may be determined based on the discount period corresponding to each of the multiple items. More specifically, the item displayed on the first page may be an item among the multiple items with a short remaining discount period. Alternatively, the item displayed on the first page may be determined based on the time at which each of the multiple items was added to the second item list. For example, an item recently added to the second item list among the multiple items may be determined to be the item to be displayed on the first page.
[0069] In step S240, the electronic device (100) may provide a first page including a first area where information about a first item is displayed and a second area where information about a second item is displayed.
[0070] According to one embodiment, in order to effectively inform the user that there is a second item that satisfies the set condition, it may be appropriate for the second area to be positioned higher than the first area on the first page. However, since the first item displayed in the first area may have a high probability of being purchased by the user, it may be more appropriate to briefly display only some of the information about the second item in the second area in order to induce the user to purchase the first item. Here, the information about the second item may include at least one of image information about the second item, information about the remaining period of the discount period for the second item, information about the discount amount for the second item, information about the stock quantity of the second item, information about the category of the first item, or information about the category of the second item. More specifically, only information corresponding to the set condition satisfied by the second item among the information about the remaining period of the discount period for the second item, information about the discount amount for the second item, information about the stock quantity of the second item, information about the category of the first item, or information about the category of the second item may be displayed in the second area. Additionally, when information about multiple items that satisfy set conditions are displayed simultaneously on the first page, the information about the multiple items may include image information for each of the multiple items.
[0071] Information about some items in the first item list may be displayed with preference in the second area over second items in the second item list. For example, if there is a third item that satisfies the conditions set in step S230 among the items added to the first item list after a set second period (e.g., one month), information about the third item may be displayed with preference in the second area.
[0072] FIG. 3 may be a drawing for explaining a first page and a second page according to one embodiment.
[0073] Referring to FIG. 3, the first page (300) may include a first area (301) and a second area (302). The first page (300) may correspond to a tab related to general purchases on the cart page. More specifically, the first page (300) may correspond to a page initially displayed on the terminal (110) in response to a cart page-related call from the terminal (110).
[0074] The first area (301) of the first page (300) may display information about the first item. Referring to the first area (301), the first item is an item added to the cart corresponding to the user, and may include a total of four items. For example, the first item may include items related to liquid detergent. The first item is an item with a high probability of being purchased by the user, and detailed information about the first item may be displayed in the first area. For example, the detailed information about the first item may include information about the name of the first item, information about the expected arrival date of the first item, information about the regular price and discount price of the first item, information about the image of the first item, and information about the purchase quantity of the first item.
[0075] The second area (302) of the first page (300) may display information about a second item that satisfies a set condition among the items included in the item wish list. Referring to FIG. 3, the items included in the wish list may include a total of 100 items. If the wish list includes items exceeding the set number (e.g., 100), the electronic device (100) may check the second item that satisfies the set condition among the items at the top of the wish list. The item at the top of the wish list may be an item that was recently added to the wish list. In this regard, based on the time at which each item included in the wish list was added to the wish list, the electronic device (100) may display information about the second item that satisfies the set condition among the set number (e.g., 100) of items that were recently added to the wish list.
[0076] In relation to the set conditions, items included in the second item list whose remaining discount period is less than or equal to the set period of 3 days may be identified as second items, and information about the second items may be displayed in the second area (302). Referring to the second area (302), the information about the second items may include image information of the second items, information about the remaining discount period of the second items, and text information. Here, the text information may correspond to the set condition satisfied by the second items. For example, text information corresponding to an item whose remaining discount period is less than or equal to 3 days may be 'There are products on sale that you have added to your wishlist.'
[0077] Information about the remaining period may be displayed differently in the second area (302) depending on whether the remaining period exceeds the set first period (e.g., 1 day). For example, if the remaining period is less than the set first period of 1 day, the information about the remaining period may be displayed in a timer format. Specifically, the information about the remaining period may be displayed in units of hours, minutes, and seconds. Referring to the second area (302), the information about the remaining period may be "12:12:41 until end."
[0078] Referring to FIG. 3, the second page (310) may be an item wish page. The second page (310) may correspond to a tab related to wish items on the shopping cart page. More specifically, the second page (310) may be a page displayed on the terminal (110) in response to input through the wish item area of the first page (310).
[0079] The second page (310) may display information about the second item in the reverse order of the order in which the items were added to the item wish list. For example, since information about the second item regarding bottled water is displayed at the top of the second page (310), the second item regarding bottled water may be the most recently added item to the second item list. As another example, since information about the second item regarding tint is displayed at the bottom of the second page (310) compared to the first item regarding bottled water, the second item regarding tint may be an item added to the second item list before the second item regarding bottled water.
[0080] The second item regarding tint displayed in the area (312) of the second page (310) may correspond to the second item displayed in the second area (302) of the first page (300). As discussed in step S230, the second item displayed in the second area (302) of the first page (300) may be determined in various ways. There may be multiple items that satisfy the set condition among the items included in the second item list. In this case, the second item regarding tint displayed in the second area (302) may be randomly determined as one of the multiple items.
[0081] FIG. 4 may be a drawing for explaining an embodiment of displaying information about a second item in a second area according to set conditions according to one embodiment.
[0082] In one embodiment, the second condition among the set conditions may be to identify a second item among the items included in the second item list based on the discount period. Specifically, among the items included in the second item list, items whose remaining discount period is less than or equal to the set period (e.g., 4 days) may be identified as the second item.
[0083] Among the items included in the second item list, items related to tints with a remaining discount period of 4 days or less, which is set to 3 days, may be identified as second items. Referring to the first page (400), information about the second item related to tints may be displayed in the second area (402). The information about the second item displayed in the second area (402) may include image information about the second item, information about the remaining discount period of the second item, and text information.
[0084] Information about the remaining period may be displayed differently in the second area (402) depending on whether the remaining period exceeds the set first period (e.g., 1 day). For example, if the remaining period is greater than the set first period (e.g., 1 day), the information about the remaining period may include date information corresponding to the remaining period. Referring to the second area (402), the information about the remaining period may be "3 days remaining until the end."
[0085] In one embodiment, the first of the set conditions may be to identify a second item among the items included in the second item list based on the discount amount. Specifically, among the items included in the second item list, an item with a discount amount greater than or equal to the set amount (e.g., 5,000 won) may be identified as the second item.
[0086] Among the items included in the second item list, items related to tints with a discount amount set to 5,000 won or more may be identified as second items. Referring to the first page (410), information about the second item related to tints may be displayed in the second area (412). The information about the second item displayed in the second area (412) may include image information of the second item, information about the discount amount of the second item, and text information. The text information about the second item may be, "There are items you have added to your wishlist that are on sale." Additionally, information about the discount amount of the second item may be, "10,000 won discount until the end of the period."
[0087] FIG. 5 may be a drawing for explaining an embodiment of displaying information about a second item in a second area according to set conditions according to one embodiment.
[0088] In one embodiment, the third condition among the set conditions may be to identify a second item among the items included in the second item list based on the stock quantity. Specifically, among the items included in the second item list, items whose stock quantity is less than or equal to a set quantity (e.g., 10) may be identified as the second item.
[0089] Among the items included in the second item list, items related to tints with a stock quantity set to 2 or less, which is 10 items, may be identified as second items. That is, referring to the first page (500), information about the second item related to tints may be displayed in the second area (502). The information about the second item displayed in the second area (502) may include image information of the second item, information about the stock quantity of the second item, and text information. Information about the stock quantity of the second item may be "Currently 2 left," and text information about the second item may be "There is a product that is about to sell out."
[0090] According to one embodiment, the fourth condition among the set conditions may be to check, when the first item included in the first item list is out of stock, an item included in the second item list that is classified into the same category as the first item. Specifically, an item included in the second item list that has the same item identification number (e.g., item ID) as the out-of-stock first item may be identified as the second item.
[0091] Among the items included in the second item list, items in a similar category to the first item that is sold out may be identified as second items. Whether an item is in a similar category to the first item that is sold out may be determined based on the identification number of the first item that is sold out or the category of the first item that is sold out. When the first item that is sold out is an electronic product in the cleaning category, items in the second item list that correspond to the cleaning category may be identified as second items. Referring to the first page (510), information about the second item related to the vacuum cleaner may be displayed in the second area (512). The information about the second item displayed in the second area (512) may include image information about the second item and text information about the category of the second item. Text information about the category of the second item may be, "There are products in the cleaning category similar to the sold out product."
[0092] FIG. 6 may be a drawing for explaining an embodiment of displaying information about a second item in a second area when there are multiple second items that satisfy a set condition.
[0093] According to one embodiment, among the items included in the second item list, there may be multiple items that satisfy a set condition. In this case, all of the multiple items that satisfy the set condition may be displayed on the first page, or only some of the multiple items that satisfy the set condition may be displayed on the first page. Displaying all of the multiple items on the first page may include not only displaying information about the multiple items simultaneously on the first page, but also displaying information about the multiple items sequentially on the first page.
[0094] As discussed above, the order in which multiple items are displayed on the first page can be optimized based on the user's purchase history. Multiple weights corresponding to multiple conditions included in the set conditions can be determined based on the user's purchase history. At this time, the electronic device can determine scores for multiple items that satisfy the set conditions based on the multiple weights. For example, a specific item among the multiple items may satisfy a first condition related to a discount amount and a second condition related to a discount period. The score corresponding to the specific item can be determined as the sum of the first weight corresponding to the first condition and the second weight corresponding to the second condition. By performing similar operations, the electronic device (100) can check the scores for multiple items and determine the order in which they are displayed on the first page based on the scores for the multiple items.
[0095] Referring to the second area (602) of the first page (600), information about a plurality of items may be displayed sequentially on the first page. More specifically, information about a plurality of items may be displayed in the second area (602) in a carousel slider format.
[0096] Referring to the second area (602), among the items included in the second item list according to one embodiment, there may be five items that satisfy the set conditions. The remaining period of the discount period for the second item regarding tint may be three days, and the discount amount may be 10,000 won. In other words, the second item regarding tint may be an item that simultaneously satisfies the first condition regarding the discount amount and the second condition regarding the discount period. In this regard, among the five items that satisfy the set conditions, the score corresponding to the second item regarding tint may be determined to be the largest. Accordingly, information regarding the second item regarding tint may be displayed first in the second area (602) of the first page (600) provided by the electronic device (100).
[0097] Information about four items, excluding the second item regarding tint, may be displayed sequentially on the second area (602) in order of scores. For example, information about five items that satisfy a set condition may be displayed sequentially on the second area (602) every time a set time (e.g., 5 seconds) elapses. Alternatively, in response to a slide input on the second area (602), information about other second items, excluding information about the second item currently being displayed, may be displayed on the second area (602).
[0098] Referring to the second area (612) of the first page (610), information on multiple items may be displayed simultaneously on the first page (610). In order to effectively inform the user of the terminal (110) that there are multiple items among the items included in the second item list that satisfy the set conditions, only image information on five items that satisfy the set conditions may be displayed on the second area (612). That is, in order to prevent damage to the user experience and effectively induce the purchase of the first item, it may be more appropriate to omit information on the remaining period of the discount period of the second item, information on the discount amount of the second item, information on the stock quantity of the second item, information on the category of the first item, or information on the category of the second item.
[0099] The order in which image information is displayed in the second area (612) may be determined based on scores for multiple items. For example, the second item regarding tint may be an item that simultaneously satisfies both a first condition regarding a discount amount and a second condition regarding a discount period. In this regard, among the five items satisfying the set conditions, the score corresponding to the second item regarding tint may be determined to be the highest. Accordingly, image information for the second item regarding tint may be displayed first in the second area (612) of the first page (610) provided by the electronic device (100).
[0100] Figure 7 is a drawing for explaining a page displayed on a terminal depending on whether a user's input is received through the second area.
[0101] Referring to FIG. 7, a first page (700) may include a first area (701) and a second area (702). The second area (702) may include a first sub-area (703) as an entry point for providing a first page containing detailed information about a second item displayed in the second area (702).
[0102] When a user input is received through the first sub-area (703), the electronic device (100) may provide a second page (710). At this time, information about the second item displayed in the second area (702) may be displayed at a first position of the display of the terminal (110). At this time, the scroll (711) of the second page (710) may be appropriately adjusted so that the information about the second item is displayed at the first position of the display of the terminal (110). The first position may indicate a specific position, such as the top or bottom, of the display of the terminal (110), but is not limited to a specific position, such as the top or bottom. Referring to the second page (710), the first position may indicate the bottom of the display of the terminal (110).
[0103] The third area (712) corresponding to the first position of the second page (710) may display detailed information about the second item corresponding to the second area (702). For example, the detailed information about the second item may further include information about the name of the second item, information about the regular price of the second item, and information about the discount amount of the second item. When a user input is received via the add to cart icon in the third area (712), the second item may be deleted from the second item list and added to the first item list.
[0104] Referring to the second area (612), information on a plurality of items may be displayed simultaneously in the second area of the first page. At this time, when a user input is received through the second area, information on an item with the highest score among the plurality of items that satisfy the set condition may be displayed at a first position on the display of the terminal (110). As another example, when a user input is received through the second area, information on an item most recently added to the second item list among the plurality of items that satisfy the set condition may be displayed at a first position on the display of the terminal (110). Referring to the second area (612), the scroll of the second page may be appropriately adjusted so that information on a second item regarding tint among the plurality of items is displayed at the first position on the display of the terminal (110). In addition, when a user input is received through the scroll of the second page, the electronic device (100) may dynamically adjust the scroll of the second page so that information on second items that satisfy the set condition on the second page is sequentially displayed. Accordingly, the user can easily check detailed information of each of multiple items that satisfy the set conditions.
[0105] In one embodiment, a user input may not be received through the second area within a set period of time. Alternatively, a different page may be displayed on the display of the terminal (110) or the display of the terminal (110) may be turned off when no user input is received through the second area. In this case, the second item displayed in the second area may be identified as an item with a low probability of being purchased by the user. Accordingly, when a request for the first page is received again from the terminal (110), it may be more appropriate to first display information about a second item different from the second item that was already displayed in the second area. In this regard, when the electronic device (100) receives a request for the first page again from the terminal (110), it may identify a fourth item that satisfies the set condition among the items included in the second item list, and provide a first page including a second area where information about the fourth item is displayed. In this case, the fourth item may be a different item from the second item.
[0106] For example, even though the electronic device (100) provides information about a second item regarding tint through a second area (502) of a first page (500), the electronic device (100) may not receive a user input from the user of the terminal (110) through the second area (502). In this case, when a request for the first page is received again from the terminal (110), the electronic device (100) may provide a first page (510) including a second area (512) in which information about a second item regarding a vacuum cleaner different from the second item regarding tint is displayed.
