Description

Cosmetic composition

[0001] The present application relates to a cosmetic composition.

[0002] Stick-type cosmetics, such as lipsticks, lip balms, eyebrow pencils, or eyeliners, are typically applied directly to the user's lips or skin. To achieve this, stick-type cosmetics expose a portion of the composition to the outside world. As the user uses the composition, the exposed portion of the composition is consumed. Therefore, stick-type cosmetics are designed with a lifting container to allow the composition to be exposed to the outside world.

[0003] However, these elevating containers require numerous components, leading to complex designs and high manufacturing costs. Furthermore, their use of plastic and metal materials poses environmental concerns.

[0004] To address this issue, a roll-up container has been proposed that wraps the cosmetic composition in a sheet, such as paper. Roll-up containers allow the user to expose the cosmetic composition to the outside by cutting a portion of the sheet, and are environmentally friendly because they utilize paper or other materials.

[0005] However, even when using a roll-up container, there is a problem that the cosmetic composition and the roll-up container do not adhere closely together, so the cosmetic composition is easily separated or detached from the roll-up container. Specifically, conventional stick-type cosmetics can be manufactured by putting a high-temperature (about 40°C or higher) liquid cosmetic composition into a container and curing the cosmetic composition at room temperature. As the cosmetic composition is cured, it shrinks appropriately, so that the container and its contents are released, which is more suitable for lifting. However, in cases where lifting is not required, such as a roll-up container, if the cosmetic composition shrinks as it is cured, there is a problem that the container cannot properly support the cosmetic composition due to excessive release.

[0006] [Prior Art Literature]

[0007] (Patent Document 1) Republic of Korea Patent Publication No. 10-2020-0068031

[0008] The present application aims to address the above-mentioned problems and provides a cosmetic composition with low shrinkage. Furthermore, the present application aims to provide a cosmetic composition with low shrinkage, which prevents separation from the container and thus can be easily applied to containers that do not require lifting.

[0009] The technical problems of the present application are not limited to the technical problems mentioned above, and other technical problems not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below.

[0042]

[0043] According to an embodiment of the present application, a cosmetic composition having a low degree of shrinkage can be provided. Here, shrinkage may mean a decrease in volume when the cosmetic composition changes from a high temperature (e.g., a molten state, etc.) to a low temperature (e.g., a solid state, etc.).

[0044] Unlike conventional cosmetic compositions, particularly stick-type cosmetic compositions used in elevating containers, which exhibit a high degree of shrinkage to facilitate separation from the elevating container, the cosmetic composition of the present invention exhibits a low degree of shrinkage to ensure closer contact with the container. This feature makes the cosmetic composition more suitable for containers containing paper materials. This is because if a deviation exceeding a standard occurs between the cosmetic composition and a container containing paper materials, it may cause inconvenience to the user. However, the present invention is not limited thereto.

[0045] In an embodiment, the cosmetic composition may have a dR of 1.09 or less, 1.085 or less, 1.08 or less, 1.075 or less, 1.07 or less, or 1.065 or less according to the following formula 1. In addition, the lower limit of the dR according to the following formula 1 is not particularly determined, and may be 1 or more or greater than 1. When the dR according to the following formula 1 is within the above-mentioned range, a cosmetic composition having a low degree of shrinkage can be obtained.

[0046] [Formula 1]

[0047] dR = dC / dH

[0048] In Equation 1, dC is the specific gravity of the cosmetic composition at 25°C, and dH is the specific gravity of the cosmetic composition at 80°C.

[0049] In an embodiment, the absolute value of dA according to the following Equation 2 may be 0.068 or less, 0.066 or less, 0.064 or less, 0.062 or less, 0.06 or less, 0.058 or less, 0.056 or less, 0.054 or less, 0.052 or less, or 0.05 or less. In addition, the lower limit of dA according to the following Equation 2 is not specifically determined, and may be 0 or greater than 0.

[0050] [Formula 2]

[0051] dA = dC-dH

[0052] In Equation 2, dC is the specific gravity of the cosmetic composition at 25°C, and dH is the specific gravity of the cosmetic composition at 80°C.

[0053] In an embodiment, the cosmetic composition may satisfy the following formula 3.

[0054] [Formula 3]

[0055] dC > dH

[0056] In Equation 3, dC is the specific gravity of the cosmetic composition at 25°C, and dH is the specific gravity of the cosmetic composition at 80°C.

[0057] In an embodiment, the melting point of the cosmetic composition may be 30° C. or higher, 35° C. or higher, 40° C. or higher, 45° C. or higher, or 50° C. or higher, or 85° C. or lower, 80° C. or lower, 75° C. or lower, 70° C. or lower, 65° C. or lower, or 60° C. or lower. Here, the melting point of the cosmetic composition may be measured, for example, using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) according to ISO11357-3. In this way, the cosmetic composition may be solid at room temperature and liquid (or liquid) at or above the melting point.

[0058] Meanwhile, a cosmetic composition may undergo a phase transition from a liquid state above its melting point to a solid state when the temperature drops below the melting point. In this specification, a solid that has undergone this phase transition from a liquid state to a solid state may be referred to as a cured product or solid. Since the cosmetic composition has the aforementioned melting point, it can be a solid at room temperature.

[0059] In an embodiment, the specific gravity of the liquid state may be greater than that of the solid state. That is, Equation 3 above may define such a specific gravity relationship of the cosmetic composition. If the specific gravity of the liquid state of the cosmetic composition is greater than that of the solid state, it can realize an appropriate release form, thereby providing convenience to the user. In addition, the cosmetic composition can combine appropriate compounds as described herein to realize an appropriate release form while having a low degree of shrinkage, and the specific gravity relationship as described above can be obtained with the combined compounds.

[0060] In an embodiment, the specific gravity of the liquid state may not differ significantly from that of the solid state. By ensuring that the specific gravity difference is not significant, an appropriate release form can be realized with a low degree of shrinkage. That is, dR according to Equation 1 and dA according to Equation 2 may define the specific gravity relationship of the cosmetic composition. The specific gravity relationship described above can be obtained when the cosmetic composition includes a compound appropriately combined as described herein.

[0061] In an embodiment, the cosmetic composition may have an appropriate hardness at room temperature. The cosmetic composition may be in a solid state at room temperature and have an appropriate hardness, thereby providing a solid cosmetic. The solid cosmetic may have a hardness of 10 dyne / cm. 2 It may be ideal. In addition, the solid cosmetic material has a maximum hardness of 20 dyne / cm. 2 150 dyne / cm 2within the range of or 30 dyne / cm 2 140 dyne / cm 2 It can be within the range. The above hardness can be measured at 25℃ by lowering a pin with a diameter of 1 mm Φ at a speed of 30 cm / min and applying a measurement load of 200 g using a Fudoh rheometer. In addition, the above maximum hardness can mean the maximum hardness value measured by penetrating to a depth of 10 mm of the cosmetic composition as a sample.

[0062] Meanwhile, the cosmetic composition may exist in a solid form, as described above, undergoing a phase transition from a liquid state to a solid state. The hardness may be measured when the cosmetic composition is in a solid form. The cosmetic composition may have an appropriate hardness within the aforementioned range, and by having the hardness, a solid cosmetic may be provided.

[0097]

[0098] Figure 1 is a perspective view of a cosmetic according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0099] Referring to FIG. 1, a cosmetic (1000) may include a cosmetic composition (100) and a container (200), wherein the cosmetic composition is described as described above.

[0100] In an embodiment, a cosmetic composition (100) in a molten state may be filled and cured within a container (200) to form a solid cosmetic composition. Since the cosmetic composition (100) has a low degree of shrinkage, even if it is filled and cured in a container (200) made of, for example, paper, the container (200) and the cosmetic composition (100) may not separate from each other or may have a low degree of separation.

[0101] In an embodiment, the container (200) can surround the cosmetic composition (100), protect the cosmetic composition (100) from external contamination, etc., and support the cosmetic composition (100).

[0102] Specifically, the container (200) may be formed by winding a packaging sheet so as to have a receiving space for accommodating a cosmetic composition (100) on the inside. The packaging sheets may be rolled up to form layers. In the rolled state, the packaging sheets may form a receiving space on the inside. For example, at least a portion of the cosmetic composition (100) may be surrounded by the packaging sheet and shielded from the outside, and at least another portion (particularly, an end of the cosmetic composition (100)) may be exposed to the outside and provided to a user. However, this is exemplary, and the entire cosmetic composition (100) may be surrounded by the packaging sheet and shielded from the outside. In this case, at least a portion of the packaging sheet may be cut off, and a portion of the cosmetic composition (100) may be exposed to the outside and provided to a user.

[0103] In an embodiment, after the packaging sheet is wound to form a receiving space, a molten cosmetic composition (100) may be filled and hardened in the receiving space to form a solid cosmetic composition (100).

[0104] In an embodiment, the packaging sheet may be made of paper. That is, the packaging sheet may include a paper sheet. For example, the material of the packaging sheet may include coated paper, uncoated paper (MFC), uncoated paper, etc. Here, the coated paper is paper that has been coated using a coater or the like, and may include art paper, snow paper, coated paper, mirror-gloss paper, embossed paper, etc., and uncoated paper (MFC) is paper that has been coated on both sides at a weight of about 10 g per square meter in a size press during the papermaking process of imitation paper (wooden paper) or medium-quality paper, and the uncoated paper is paper that has not been coated, and may include imitation paper (wooden paper), medium-quality paper, etc., but is not limited thereto. Additionally, a coating material may be applied to at least one side of the packaging sheet to form a coating layer. At this time, the coating may include glossy lamination, matte lamination, UV coating, clear coating, etc., but is not limited thereto. However, it is not limited to this, and a container (200) made of various materials such as plastic and metal can be applied.

[0105] In an embodiment, the container portion (200) may include a cut line. The cut line may be formed on the surface of the packaging sheet to facilitate cutting of the packaging sheet. At least a portion of the packaging sheet may be cut along the cut line, thereby exposing the cosmetic composition (100) enclosed by the packaging sheet to the outside. For example, the cut line may include a series of holes and / or grooves formed on the surface of the packaging sheet. That is, at least a portion of the packaging sheet may be cut along the series of holes and / or grooves.

[0106] According to an embodiment, the cosmetic (1000) may further include a holder portion (300). The holder portion (300) is provided at the lower end of the container portion (200) to support the container portion (200), and at least one area may be inserted into the inside of the container portion (200). For example, the holder portion (300) may include a base that supports the lower end of the container portion (200) and an insertion portion that protrudes from the base and is inserted into the inside of the container portion (200). The base is formed to cover the lower end of the container portion (200), thereby blocking an empty space in the container portion (200) and preventing the cosmetic composition (100) from being pushed out backward. In addition, the insertion portion may be inserted into the inside of the container portion (200) by a predetermined length, thereby supporting the container portion (200) from the inside. However, it is not limited to this, and the entire holder part (300) may be inserted into the container part (200).

[0107] The cosmetic product (1000) illustrated in FIG. 1 is exemplary, and various configurations may be applied depending on the embodiment to which the present invention is applied.

[0116]

[0117] <Test Example 1: Shrinkage Evaluation>

[0118] The shrinkage evaluation of the cosmetic composition was evaluated based on the specific gravity (dH) measured at 80°C and the specific gravity (dC) measured at 25°C, and the evaluation results are summarized in Table 3. In addition, in Table 3, dR is a value according to Equation 1, and dA is a value according to Equation 2.

[0119] [Formula 1]

[0120] dR = dC / dH

[0121] [Formula 2]

[0122] dA = dC-dH

[0123] The above specific gravity is 100 cm 3 The dH was measured using a gravity cup (manufactured by FISCHER) having a capacity of . The dH was measured by filling the gravity cup with each liquid cosmetic composition prepared above, maintaining the temperature (i.e., 80°C), measuring the weight, and subtracting the weight of the empty gravity cup measured previously from the measured weight, and calculating the capacity (i.e., 100 cm 3 ) and the reference material (density 1g / cm 3 The density of the liquid cosmetic composition was further divided by the density of the water. The above dC was calculated by filling the specific gravity cup with each liquid cosmetic composition prepared above, lowering the temperature to 25°C, waiting sufficiently until the cosmetic composition becomes a solid, and then measuring the weight, and subtracting the weight of the empty specific gravity cup measured previously from the measured weight, and calculating the capacity (i.e., 100 cm 3 ) and the reference material (density 1g / cm 3 It was calculated by further dividing by the density of the person (water).

[0125] Referring to Table 3, Example 1 shows a low degree of shrinkage due to a small difference between the specific gravity (dH) measured at 80°C and the specific gravity (dC) measured at 25°C. As in Example 1, the low degree of shrinkage is suitable for a container made of paper material, and an appropriate release shape is realized.

[0126] In addition, referring to Table 3, Comparative Examples 1 to 6 have a relatively large difference between the specific gravity (dH) measured at 80°C and the specific gravity (dC) measured at 25°C, and it can be seen that shrinkage occurs. Since Comparative Examples 1 to 6 have a relatively large difference between the specific gravity (dH) measured at 80°C and the specific gravity (dC) measured at 25°C, they are unsuitable for contents containers made of paper material.

[0127] Figure 2 shows the test results for visually confirming the degree of shrinkage in Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 to 4. Referring to Figure 2, it can be confirmed that Example 1 is liquid at 80°C. Although not shown in the figure, Comparative Examples 1 to 6 also appeared to be liquid at 80°C.

[0128] Also, referring to FIG. 2, it can be seen that Example 1 has a relatively low degree of shrinkage even when viewed with the naked eye at 25°C. In addition, it can be seen that Comparative Examples 1 and 2 have a relatively high degree of shrinkage compared to Example 1. In addition, it can be seen that Comparative Examples 3 and 4 have a relatively high degree of shrinkage compared to Example 1 as well as Comparative Examples 1 and 2. Although Examples 5 and 6 are not shown in the drawings, since the dR and dA values are the same as those of Comparative Example 1, it can be expected that similar results to Comparative Example 1 will be obtained.

[0129]

[0130] <Test Example 2: Shrinkage Evaluation when Applying Containers>

[0131] In order to evaluate the shrinkage rate when applying a cosmetic composition to a container, a cosmetic composition at 80°C was filled into a test container of a predetermined volume, and the cosmetic composition was allowed to stand sufficiently in an environment of 25°C until it became a solid. Here, the test container was a cylindrical container with an inner diameter of 12 mm and an outer diameter of 15 mm, and the depth of the internal accommodation space was 40.58 mm (i.e., L1). As the cosmetic composition was allowed to stand sufficiently in an environment of 25°C and shrank, the depth of the inner surface of the test container exposed to the outside (i.e., L2) was measured. In addition, based on L1 and L2, the shrinkage rate, which is the degree of shrinkage when the cosmetic composition is cured, was calculated, and is summarized in Table 4.

[0132] Classification L1 L2 Shrinkage (%) Example 1 40.58 1.12.71 Comparative Example 1 40.58 1.62 3.99 Comparative Example 2 40.58 1.92 4.73 Comparative Example 3 40.58 2.48 6.11 Comparative Example 4 40.58 2.73 6.73 Comparative Example 5 40.58 1.65 4.07 Comparative Example 6 40.58 1.61 3.97

[0133] Referring to Table 4, in Example 1, L2 is 1.1 mm, which means that the shrinkage is less than 3%, and thus, there is very little deformation from the container. In contrast, in the comparative examples, the shrinkage is greater than that in Example 1 during the curing process (approximately 4% or more shrinkage occurs), and thus, deformation from the container occurs.

[0134]

[0135] <Experimental Example 3: Stability Evaluation>

[0136] The stability of the cosmetic composition was evaluated based on the solid content of the cosmetic composition at the changed temperature after the cosmetic composition at 80°C was sufficiently left to stand in an environment of 25°C until it became a solid, and then the temperature of the cosmetic composition was changed to a temperature specified as in Table 5. In addition, in Table 5, CYCL was evaluated based on the solid content obtained after the cosmetic composition that became a solid was changed back to 80°C to form a liquid, and then the cosmetic composition was sufficiently left to stand in an environment of 25°C until it became a solid again.

[0137] The stability was evaluated by visually observing whether separation of the formulation occurred or whether a large amount of empty space was created due to shrinkage, and scoring was given on a scale of 1 to 5. Here, a higher score indicates better stability.

[0139] Referring to Table 5, it can be seen that Example 1 has excellent stability. Also, referring to Table 5, it can be seen that Comparative Examples 1 and 2 generally have lower stability than Example 1. Also, referring to Table 5, it can be seen that Comparative Examples 3 and 4 used a water-soluble plasticizer, which resulted in formulation separation, and that the stability was lower than that of Example 1 as well as Comparative Examples 1 and 2. Also, referring to Table 5, it can be seen that Comparative Examples 5 and 6 generally have lower stability than that of Example 1.
