Description

Coanda wind turbine

[0001] The present invention relates to wind turbine technology for wind power generation, etc., which utilizes the Coanda effect in fluid dynamics (where a fluid is attracted to a nearby wall, generating lift) to increase lift from the pressure ratio and flow velocity ratio on the front and back of a blade, thereby efficiently extracting rotational drive energy.

[0002] Recently, there has been a lot of wing technology that attempts to utilize the Magnus effect, but the structure of the rotating part of the wing has become complex and heavy, and long-term durability is also necessary. "When utilizing the Magnus effect, an object is rotated to achieve that effect, but this requires the energy required for rotation," as shown in a well-known patent (Patent Document 1: Figure 8 attached to this document), but there are also many other similar applications, such as "multiple cylindrical wing capable of rotation." In this invention, the chord part of the flat plate is connected and fixed to the cylinder at the leading edge, there is no structure in which the cylindrical part rotates, and there is no loss of driving energy, which is completely different from the Magnus method.

[0003] In addition, there is a known patent (Patent Document 2: Figure 9 attached to this document) which has what appears to be a cylinder, "10 blade," but the cylinder itself does not rotate, and there is "11 groove," but this is completely different from the structure of the present invention in which the chord portion of the flat plate is connected and fixed to the cylinder at the leading edge.

[0004] There is also a known patent (Patent Document 3: Figure 10 attached to this document) in which the "100 sailing device" has a structure that "rotates a 30 Magnus cylinder 31 times" and a symmetrical streamlined wing body (20), which differs from the structure of the present invention in which the chord portion of the flat plate is connected and fixed to the cylinder at the leading edge, and the operating principle is completely different.

[0005] Furthermore, there is a known patent (Patent Document 4: Figure 11 attached to this document), but the structure of the "cross section of blade (vane) blade element" in Figure 3 of Patent Document 4 is "(B) each blade has a taper 16 at the leading edge 19 and a camber 15 at the trailing edge 20," which is neither a cylindrical leading edge blade like the blade of the present invention, nor a flat blade that is symmetrical on both sides, nor is it of a spiral shape; the blade shape and operating principle are completely different, and because it is not symmetrical on both sides, it is difficult to handle strong winds where the wind direction and speed suddenly reverse, and all important parts other than the oblique axis are different.

"Fluid Mechanics" by Naminosuke Kubota, published May 28, 2008 by Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun, pp. 161-163 (vortex and circulation).

[0008] As long as there is a wind of at least a light breeze (1-3 m / s: as defined by the Japan Meteorological Agency's wind scale), and regardless of time of day, weather, or location, if we can realize wind power generation with simple blade structures that is friendly to people, birds, and the earth and that anyone, from individuals to businesses, can make cheaply and easily, then wind power generation, which will peacefully generate safe, secure, and clean electrical energy that exceeds the requirements of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), can be said to be a major goal for humanity.

[0009] First, the rules for assigning four-digit code numbers in this explanatory drawing are that the first digit corresponds to the drawing number, and the last two digits are a serial number that appears within that drawing, but may also be displayed and referenced in other drawings as a common part.

[0010] As a means for solving the problem corresponding to claim 1, in order to improve the wind energy conversion efficiency with respect to the blades that make up a wind turbine for wind power generation, it is necessary to increase the ratio of lift (force perpendicular to the flow) to drag (force in the direction of the flow), but it is also necessary to have a blade shape that can be used as a driving force at startup without eliminating the drag element, and a new Coanda effect, "the phenomenon in which a fluid becomes faster and its pressure decreases when it flows along the surface of a convex object," was newly developed. When applied to the front and back surfaces of a wing, the circulation theory (Kutta-Zhukovsky theorem) can be used to derive vertical lift through the concept of circulation. If the wing structure is examined in depth, the leading edge (102) is made into a long, round cylindrical shape (107), and a symmetrical flat plate chord (104) is extended from the surface (105) and the back surface (106) opposite the leading edge (102) to the trailing edge (103) by multiple times the diameter (107) of the leading edge cylindrical portion, and joined at the front chord joint (105) and the back chord joint (106). This forms long depressions (105, 106) in the longitudinal direction (114) of the front and back of the leading edge cylindrical flat plate wing (101), and a structure is formed in which regions (205, 206) are provided that generate velocity and pressure differences between the front and back of the leading edge cylindrical flat plate wing leading to these depressions.

[0011] If we explain this in a vertically parallel manner, the angle of attack (215) corresponding to the fluid wind (108) from below in front, or the opposite fluid wind (110) from above in front, becomes a negative angle of attack, and the Coanda effect up to the surface (205) or the underside (206) generates a speed difference and a pressure difference, which gives rise to an upward lift (211), or in the opposite case, an opposite downward lift, so that a wing with two modes of function can be constructed, Next, if the fluid wind (109) comes from the front, the angle of attack (215) becomes "equivalent to 0 degrees", and the wind passes evenly over the long depressions (105, 106) on the front and back of the leading edge cylindrical flat wing (101), passes evenly over the surface of the symmetrical flat wing (104) and reaches the trailing edge (103), resulting in a wing shape equivalent to a general symmetrical streamlined wing. Since the angle of attack without tilt is 0 degrees, no lift is generated, no turbulent vortexes are generated at the trailing edge, and a state of almost no obstacles is added. Furthermore, if the fluid wind (115, 116) is assumed to come from above or below, wind pressure is applied to the symmetrical flat wing (104), and the trailing edge (103) tilts downward or upward (117), both of which give lift in the direction of the leading edge (102). If these two new mode functions are added, in terms of lift, a total of five mode functions of the wing are added. When there is a headwind (111, 112, 113), the drag force of the fluid wind on the trailing edge (103) of the wing is in the same direction as the force vector toward the leading edge (102), so these are added together as a resultant driving force, forming the basic function of the wing, which becomes a driving force from a total of eight different directions.

[0012] Furthermore, the behavior of the fluid is explained in Figure 2. When the fluid (208) is separated into upper and lower parts at the windward side (207) by the cylindrical object (201) at the leading edge (202), the upper fluid (221) is attracted by the Coanda effect and flows along the upper side (225) of the leading edge of the cylindrical object. On the upper side (205) up to the trailing edge (203), the flow speed increases and the pressure decreases, generating a vertical lift (219). Conversely, The lower fluid (220) flows along the lower leading edge (226) of the cylindrical curved surface (201), and the flow velocity on the lower surface (206) is slower than on the upper leading edge (225), and the pressure increases, giving the wing lift (218). At the same time, the pressure difference between the front and rear of the wing generates an upward force, which is added to the lift (211). This is an invention of a new wing shape, a "leading edge cylindrical flat plate wing (101): not even included in the NACA (NASA) airfoil list."

[0013] As a result of this structure, wind energy is improved, and a Coanda blade is formed that has basic functional characteristics that can be applied to the vertical axis wind turbine of "Claim 2," the horizontal axis wind turbine of "Claim 3," and the variable bevel wind turbine of "Claim 4," which will be described later.

[0014] As a means for solving the problem corresponding to claim 2, an example of a configuration in which the characteristics of the leading-edge cylindrical flat plate blades (101) of the "Coanda vane wind turbine" of claim 1 are applied to a vertical-axis wind turbine will be described, and the operating principle will be explained in detail using a fluid analysis simulation (400) that evaluated this. The leading-edge cylindrical flat plate blades (101) are arranged (303, 304, 305, 306) at equal intervals along the circumferential rotational sweep surface (302) around the rotating vertical axis (301) so that the leading edges (102) are in front of each other in the direction of rotation (309), with 4 to 10 blades or more as required depending on the overall size of the wind turbine. In the new vertical-axis wind turbine (300) of this example, eight connecting arms (307, 308) on each side connect each blade to the rotating shaft (301), and the rotating shaft forms a structure that is connected to a coreless generator (310) or the like.

[0015] In addition, if the blades are tilted appropriately (316) from 0 degrees to about 45 degrees depending on the necessary conditions, such as the blade spacing and vertical length of the leading edge cylindrical flat blade (101), as shown by the dotted line, and this is applied to each blade, the wind force can be obtained more evenly and the rotation will be smoother.

[0016] Furthermore, the solution to the problem and the features will be explained together with the fluid analysis simulation (400). In the wind direction (419), the leading edge cylindrical flat blades (403, 404) are facing a headwind, and at their wide angles of attack (215) with respect to the leading edge (102), the lift of the high-speed decompression region (412, 415) on the flow side (407) that turns around due to the Coanda effect is amplified by the lift (413, 416) due to the pressure difference in the low-speed pressurization region (411, 414) on the opposite side. At the same time, the blades (405, 406) on the opposite side of the wind direction (419) are facing a tailwind, so it is possible to make use of the drag (417, 418) as it is, and the four blades (403 to 406) combined can generate a large driving force in the rotational direction (410).

[0017] Furthermore, by connecting the eight upper and lower connecting arms (307, 308) to the upper and lower connecting positions (314, 315) of each leading edge cylindrical flat blade (303, 304, 305, 306) with easily movable blade connecting shafts (oil-less rings, etc.) and semi-fixing them with tension springs (312, 313, etc.), the center of gravity on the trailing edge (103) side of each blade can be set to be slightly heavier in advance, and as the speed of rotation (309) increases and the centrifugal force increases, The trailing edge (103) side projects out towards the outer periphery of the rotor, acting as a brake against the atmosphere and gradually reducing the rotational speed to suppress runaway rotation. Eight automatic blade attack angle adjustment mechanisms and tension springs (312, 313) are provided on the top and bottom, and runaway rotation in a vertical axis wind turbine is suppressed, making it possible to rotate the generator efficiently, resulting in a Coanda blade type vertical axis wind turbine that is resistant to winds caused by buildings and sudden changes in wind direction and speed, as well as gusts of wind.

[0018] As a means for solving the problem corresponding to claim 3, a method of applying the features of the "Coanda blade wind turbine" described in claim 1 to a new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine (501) and constructing it is described as follows: a leading edge cylindrical flat blade (101) is connected to a blade-connecting rotating hub (512) on one side of its longitudinal direction (114) with its leading edge (102) in the direction of rotation (505) and its trailing edge (103) behind the direction of rotation, with the wind turbine's horizontal rotation axis (506) as the center, and the opposite side of the longitudinal direction (114) facing the outer periphery of the wind turbine rotating sweep surface (507), and the blade shape is curved, such as an involute curve, to form a curved blade structure (502, 503, 504: the number of blades is about 2 to 8 depending on the wind turbine size and as needed), and is connected to the hub (512), thereby giving the entire wind turbine a natural, functional beauty. A new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine (501) structure is formed, which has a spiral galaxy-like shape, and because the leading edge (102) enters the atmosphere at an angle, friction with the atmosphere is reduced, which drastically reduces wind noise and causes no bird strikes, making it a structure that is kind to people, birds, and the environment. Moreover, even if the headwind (508) and the opposing wind (509) suddenly change direction, the front and back symmetrical flat plate wing (104) structure keeps the wind turbine rotation direction (505) constant, and there is no yaw reversal (514) and no drive loss, resulting in the formation of a new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine with Coanda wing structure.

[0019] Furthermore, the principle of operation can be explained by a dynamic cross-sectional view (601) of the new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine, which corresponds to the blade shape (504) and can be analyzed by the cutting grid (615) display of the CAD tool along the rotation direction (605) against the fluid flow from the headwind (606) direction. The headwind (606) from the direction of the wind turbine and the headwind (607) from the direction of rotation of the wind turbine (605) create a combined wind direction (608), which also acts as a drag (610). At the cross section (614) of the leading-edge cylindrical flat-plate curved wing, the trailing edge (617) of the leading-edge cylindrical flat-plate wing generates a perpendicular lift (609) due to the angle of attack (603) with the combined wind direction (608). In addition, the lift in the reduced pressure region (612) due to the Coanda effect, the lift due to the pressure difference in the pressurized region (613) due to the Coanda effect, and the pressurized lift on the trailing edge (617) of the flat-plate chord are all added together, and the combined driving force (611) with the drag (610) becomes a rotational force, which drives the wing in the rotational direction (605) (the exact magnitude ratio in the vector representation is constantly changing).

[0020] Even when the headwind (606) changes back to a headwind (616), the new horizontal-axis spiral wind turbine (601) with leading-edge cylindrical flat-plate curved blades (502-504) has a structure of symmetrical blades (104) on the front and back sides, so even when the front and back sides are reversed, the direction of rotation (605) remains the same at all times, making it a horizontal-axis wind turbine with no reversal drive loss. Furthermore, the longitudinal direction of the leading-edge cylindrical flat-plate curved blades bends downwind at that time, reducing wind pressure drag, and increasing lift at the swept-back angle of the bend, resulting in a Coanda blade type new horizontal-axis spiral wind turbine with the structural feature of increasing the lift-to-drag ratio.

[0021] As a means for solving the problem corresponding to claim 4, since it is generally believed that winds blow from the side (east-west, north-south) are more common than winds blowing from above and below, the new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine (501) according to claim 3 is provided with a tilt-type tilting device that can tilt the new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine (501) from horizontal 0 degrees to about 60 degrees (708) diagonally toward the sky by remote control from outside or automatic control of wind speed in order to cope with strong winds (13.9 to 17.1 m / s: defined by the Japan Meteorological Agency) such as typhoons. By incorporating the angle control device into the nacelle (706), the wind force, which changes dramatically with the cube of the wind speed when receiving strong crosswinds from the front, rear, left and right winds (711-714), is deflected diagonally and received while slowing down, and at the same time the wind direction changes dramatically, and it is possible to receive winds from above and below (715, 716), and it is possible to respond to wind directions all around the sky. As a result, it is possible to respond to strong winds such as typhoons, where the wind direction is not constant. The structure of the strong wind response function of the variable oblique angle new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine (701) can be described as follows:

[0022] The nacelle (706) at the top of the wind turbine is externally controlled to retract (718) the leading edge cylindrical flat curved blades (502, 503, 504) backward in the direction of rotation (710) and move them backward (702, 703, 704), thereby reducing the rotational sweep diameter (707). By tilting the nacelle (706) at an angle of about 60 degrees (708), the wind speed is equivalent to 25 m / s even in a typhoon of about 50 m / s, since cos(60 degrees) = 0.5. Since wind energy is proportional to the cube of the wind speed, this is reduced to 1 / 8 (2 x 2 x 2), making continuous operation possible. Furthermore, the wind turbine is stabilized by this new horizontal-axis spiral wind turbine (701) with a variable oblique angle, which prevents sudden reversals in the direction of rotation (710) or yaw rotation (709).

[0023] As an effect of the basic function of the leading edge cylindrical flat plate wing (101), which is the basic wing shape of claim 1, the 360-degree circumference of the cross section (201) of this leading edge cylindrical flat plate wing is separated into upper and lower parts only by the thickness of the flat chord-shaped wing (204), and tilts up and down (117) due to up and down winds (115, 116). Therefore, an angle of attack (215) in the range of almost 360 degrees is possible, and a driving force in the direction of the leading edge (102) can be obtained even in a tailwind (111-113) at low speed, resulting in a wing of a new structure.

[0024] To reiterate the new effect, the angle of attack (215) corresponding to the fluid wind (108) from below the front, or the fluid wind (110) from above the front, becomes a negative angle of attack, and the Coanda effect up to the surface (205) or the underside (206) generates a speed difference and a pressure difference, which creates an upward lift (211) or, in the opposite case, an opposite downward lift, forming a wing with a dual function. If the fluid wind (109) is coming from the front, the angle of attack (215) will be 0 degrees, and the wind will pass evenly over the depressions (105, 106) on the front and back of the leading edge cylindrical flat wing (101), and will pass evenly through the surface of the symmetrical flat wing (104) before reaching the trailing edge (103), resulting in a wing shape equivalent to a general symmetrical streamlined wing, and no lift will be generated, no turbulent vortex will be generated at the trailing edge, and a state where there are almost no obstacles will be created (this no-lift state is thought to be usable as a highly accurate rudder), Furthermore, assuming a fluid wind (115, 116) from above or below, wind pressure is applied to the symmetrical flat plate wing (104), and the trailing edge (103) tilts downward or upward (117), creating two new modes of function that provide lift to the leading edge (102). In addition to the five modes of lift in terms of the wing in total, the drag of the fluid wind on the trailing edge (103) of the wing in a headwind (111, 112, 113) is in the same direction as the force vector toward the leading edge (102), so this is added up as a resultant driving force (214), resulting in a total of eight modes of driving force, and the basic effect of the wing is obtained.

[0025] Furthermore, the behavior of the fluid can be explained using Figure 2. When the fluid (208) is separated into upper and lower parts at the wind front (207) by the cylindrical object (201) at the leading edge (202), the upper fluid (221) is attracted by the Coanda effect and flows along the upper side (225) of the leading edge of the cylindrical object. On the upper side (205) up to the trailing edge (203), the flow speed increases and the pressure decreases, generating vertical lift (219). Conversely, the fluid flows along the lower side (226) of the leading edge of the cylindrical curved surface (201). The flow speed on the lower side (206) is slower than on the upper leading edge (225), and the pressure also increases, providing lift (218) to the wing. At the same time, the upward force of the pressure difference between the front and back of the wing is added to the lift (211), resulting in a new wing shape.

[0026] As a new effect, if the leading edge cylindrical flat plate wing (101) in Figure 1 is enlarged, it can be applied to ship propulsion devices and yacht sails. Also, by controlling the angle of attack (215) externally and applying a rotational driving force in the direction of the fluid (208), it can be applied to drone propellers, airplane wings and propellers, helicopter rotors, flying cars, etc., as a basic function.

[0027] Regarding the effect of claim 2, although some of the explanation is redundant, the cylindrical shape of the leading edge (202) can accommodate a wide fluid (208) of more than 180 degrees in both directions at an angle of attack (215), and in addition to the flat plate chord structure that produces the Coanda effect, the basic function of improving lift due to the effect of enhancing the difference in speed and pressure difference between the front and back sides caused by the circulating flow is effectively utilized by arranging the characteristics of the front and back sides of each blade shape (303, 304, 305, 306) of the new vertical axis wind turbine (300) so that they can simultaneously accommodate in all directions, and furthermore, an example of a configuration in which useful features with good energy conversion efficiency that can draw out drag from the trailing edge are applied to a vertical axis wind turbine is described, and the effect is explained in detail using the fluid analysis simulation (400) in Figure 4 that evaluated this effect.

[0028] Generally, a vertical axis wind turbine is omnidirectional in the horizontal direction of 360 degrees as a whole, but the wind direction of the blade (100) at a given time is random, and the rotational driving force at startup is small. However, with this blade (300), in the wind direction (419), the leading edge cylindrical flat blades (403, 404) are in a headwind position, and at their wide angles of attack (215) with respect to the leading edge (102), the Coanda effect generates lift forces (413) and (416) due to the pressure difference between the high-speed decompression areas (412, 415) on the flow side (407) that turns around and the low-speed pressurization areas (411, 414) on the opposite side. In particular, in this new vertical axis wind turbine (300), the leading edge cylindrical flat blade (101) simultaneously utilizes and adds up the drag forces (417) and (418) generated by the blades (405, 406) that are in the tailwind position opposite to the wind direction (419) as driving force, thereby obtaining a large driving force in the rotation direction (410). Also, here, if the blades are tilted (316) at an appropriate angle between 0 degrees and about 45 degrees depending on the situation and necessity, such as the blade spacing and vertical length of the leading edge cylindrical flat blade (101), the wind force can be obtained more evenly, resulting in smoother rotation.

[0029] Furthermore, by previously adjusting the eight upper and lower connecting arms (307, 308) and the upper and lower connecting positions (314, 315) of each blade (303, 304, 305, 306) so that the center of gravity on the trailing edge (103) side of each blade is slightly heavier, when the speed of rotation (309) increases and centrifugal force increases, the trailing edge (103) side will protrude outward and spread outward, acting as a brake against the atmosphere, slowing down the rotational speed and suppressing runaway rotation, and this function is suppressed by providing eight automatic blade attack angle adjustment mechanisms and tension springs (312, 313) at the top and bottom, resulting in the effect of a new Coanda blade type vertical axis wind turbine that is resistant to winds between buildings and gusts of wind where the direction and speed of wind change drastically.

[0030] Regarding the effect of claim 3, by applying it to a horizontal axis wind turbine structure which generally has good wind energy conversion efficiency, and further making the blade shape a spiral curve shape (502-504) such as an involute curve, the blade is configured so that the curve on the leading edge side gradually becomes gentler as it approaches the blade tip, and the curved shape approaches at a shallower oblique angle, so that air resistance is suppressed and at the same time noise caused by that drag is suppressed, eliminating bird strikes and wind noise, and providing a good balance between people and nature. The new horizontal axis type spiral wind turbine (501) has an environmentally friendly structure, and furthermore, due to the symmetrical blade structure on the front and back of the leading edge cylindrical flat blade (101), even if the head wind (508) and the head wind (509) change drastically, the direction of rotation of the wind turbine (505) remains constant, and there is no sudden yaw reversal (514), resulting in a wind turbine with no loss of driving force. In addition, the wind resistance is reduced by bending downwind, and lift is increased by the backward bending angle, resulting in an increase in the lift-to-drag ratio.

[0031] Regarding the effect of claim 4, in the case of strong winds such as typhoons, the new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine (501) can be tilted from horizontal 0 degrees to an angle of approximately 60 degrees (708) toward the sky by remote control from outside or automatic control according to wind speed. By using the tilt-type oblique angle control device (708) for a new horizontal axis wind turbine, the wind force, which changes drastically with the cube of the wind speed when receiving strong crosswinds from front, rear, left and right winds (711-714), can be deflected obliquely and relaxed while receiving the wind, and at the same time, the wind direction changes drastically, and wind from above and below (715, 716) can also be received, and as a result, the new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine (701) with variable oblique angle can be adapted to strong winds such as typhoons, where the wind direction is not constant. The effect can be stated as follows:

[0032] The nacelle (706) at the top of the wind turbine is controlled externally to retract (718) the leading edge cylindrical flat curved blades (502, 503, 504) backward in the direction of rotation (710) and move them backward (702, 703, 704), thereby reducing the rotational sweep diameter (707). By tilting the nacelle (706) to about 60 degrees (708), the wind speed is equivalent to 25 m / s even in a typhoon of about 50 m / s, since cos(60 degrees) = 0.5. Since wind energy is proportional to the cube of the wind speed, this is drastically reduced to 1 / 8 (2 x 2 x 2), making continuous operation possible.

[0033] Moreover, the wide wind receiving angle of the front and back symmetrical flat plate blades (104) on both sides, the autonomous yaw rotation (709) function of the vertical axis (705), and the function of the front and back symmetrical flat plate blades (104) reduce the automatic wind direction tracking angle and frequency to less than half, and furthermore, the inertial force of the gyro effect in the rotation of the wind turbine blades (710) and the rotational motion of the generator inside the nacelle (706) reduces the swinging force and stabilizes the rotation, making it possible to operate continuously even in strong winds, and it is a "variable oblique angle new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine" with a Coanda blade type that can be tilted diagonally to respond to strong winds such as typhoons, with a storm response effect.

[0035] In conventional streamlined blades, the blade has two top and bottom plates, and complex bending and gradually changing the thickness of the hollow core, along with the attachment and fixation of framework plates in multiple locations to maintain the subtle differences in shape and thickness, requires a lot of work, a large number of components, increased costs, and a heavy blade itself. However, the leading edge (102) of the cylindrical flat blade (101) of the present invention is cylindrical, and the chord is a single flat plate (104) with symmetrical front and back sides, and the blade is a single, integrated, simple blade up to the trailing edge (103). This makes it easy and inexpensive to cut out the curved surface, and dramatically reduces the manufacturing costs of wind turbines (eliminating the need for the two sloped front and back blades and the framework material to maintain the varying thickness between the front and back blades as in conventional streamlined blades). The shapes in each figure are basic, and the shapes of both ends are rough and not limited to these examples. In practice, curved surfaces can be added as needed. In particular, when easily creating blades for small wind power generation, etc., a hollow insulating pipe cover made from a sponge used in an air conditioner is suitable for the leading edge cylindrical portion (102), and the flat blade portion (104) can be made by solidifying basalt fiber, which has a lower elastic modulus but is about 20% of the price of carbon fiber, with epoxy resin, which does not require reinforcement materials and makes a light, strong, flexible, and inexpensive blade, and by arranging three to five of these, vertical, horizontal, and diagonal axis wind turbines can be easily created.

[0036] Regarding the embodiment for implementing claim 1, the blade shape and features will be described in detail from the leading edge cylindrical flat plate blade (101) and the cross section (201) of the leading edge cylindrical flat plate blade. The leading edge (102) is made into a round cylindrical shape (107), making use of the circumference that allows a wide angle of attack, widening the wind direction (108, 109, 110), and from the opposite side (105, 106) of this leading edge (102) toward the trailing edge (103), a flat blade is formed that is several times the diameter (107) of the leading edge cylindrical part, with symmetrical front and back surfaces. If the plate chord (104) is extended long and joined at the top chord joint (105) and the bottom chord joint (106), long recessed portions (105, 106) are formed in the longitudinal direction (114), and these recesses create regions (205, 206) that generate a pressure difference between the top and bottom of the leading edge cylindrical flat plate blade (101). Depending on the tilt, driving forces can be obtained in eight different directions, completing the basic function of the blade and enabling incorporation into a variety of devices.

[0037] Regarding the embodiment for implementing claim 2, an example of application to a new vertical-axis wind turbine (300) will be described. The required number of leading-edge cylindrical flat blades (101) are arranged (303-306) evenly around the rotating vertical axis (301) along the circumferential rotation sweeping surface (302) in the direction of rotation (309) so that the leading edges (102) face forward, and in the new vertical-axis wind turbine (300) of this proposal, each blade and the rotating shaft (301) are connected with four connecting arms (307, 308) on the top and bottom, and with rotatable blade connecting shafts (oil wrestling, etc.), and semi-fixed with tension springs (312, 313, etc.), the angle of attack (215) of each blade with respect to the wind direction (419) can be adapted to a total of eight directions, including all rear, left and right, and each intermediate diagonal, and the driving force (309) is also improved. Also, depending on the situation, such as the blade spacing and vertical length of the leading edge cylindrical flat blade (101), if the blade is tilted at an angle (316) between 0 degrees and about 45 degrees, wind force can be obtained more evenly and rotation will be smoother. Note that a simple prototype without the runaway rotation suppression function simply fixes the blade and arm, but when equipping the function to reduce the rotation speed and suppress runaway rotation with an automatic blade attack angle adjustment mechanism at eight positions above and below and a tension spring (312), it is a good idea to use a cover to prevent wind noise.

[0038] Regarding the embodiment for implementing claim 3, even a prototype made of inexpensive material can achieve rotation strong enough to tear the blades off, so the leading-edge cylindrical flat blade (101) has good wind energy conversion efficiency, and in order to apply it to a horizontal-axis wind turbine structure, the blade shape uses a partial curved section of an involute curve (about six blades can be cut out from one flat plate) and is composed of multiple blades to form a spiral curved shape (502, 503, 504), and the entire wind turbine section becomes a new horizontal-axis spiral wind turbine (501) that not only has functional beauty but also a natural beauty reminiscent of a spiral galaxy, and furthermore, it is a structure that eliminates bird strikes and wind noise, is friendly to people, birds, and nature, and even if the headwind (508) or headwind (509) changes drastically, the wind turbine rotation direction (505) always remains unchanged, no yaw reversal (514) occurs, and a wind turbine with no loss of driving force is possible, and it is best to gradually reduce the diameter size of the cylindrical part at the tip of the blade.

[0039] Regarding the embodiment for carrying out claim 4, since it is generally said that winds blowing from the side (east, west, north, south) are more common than winds blowing from above and below, in order to cope with strong winds where the wind direction and speed change drastically, the new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine (501) of claim 3 is constructed in the sky at an angle of about 60 degrees from the horizontal 0 degrees, and a structure that can also be used as a variable oblique angle new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine (701) is constructed. By receiving strong crosswinds from the front, rear, left and right winds (711-714), the peaky wind energy that changes drastically with the cube of the wind speed can be received by deflecting it obliquely and slowing it down, and at the same time, wind from above and below (715, 716) can also be received, and as a result, it can be used in all directions around the sky as a variable oblique angle new horizontal axis spiral wind turbine (701) that is tilted obliquely and can cope with strong winds with unstable wind direction such as typhoons, The nacelle (706) at the top of the wind turbine is controlled externally or automatically in response to wind speed, and the rotational sweep diameter (707) of the leading-edge cylindrical, front and back symmetrical flat-plate chord-shaped curved blades (502, 503, 504) is reduced, and the nacelle (706) is designed to be tilted at an angle of about 60 degrees (708). This makes it possible to generate electricity continuously even in strong winds, equivalent to a medium wind speed of about 25 m / s, even in typhoons with wind speeds of about 50 m / s, resulting in a variable-angle new horizontal-axis spiral wind turbine with storm-resistant capabilities.

[0040] The Coanda blade wind turbine of the present invention has a simple blade shape, and as long as there is a moderate wind, it is a wind power generation device that can operate day or night, in any weather, and in any location. It is suitable for charging electric vehicles, which require distributed large amounts of power, and does not incur long-distance power transmission losses that occur with general grid interconnections, and can provide inexpensive, self-produced, self-consumption electrical energy.Furthermore, if used in a power grid configuration, or if water is electrolyzed to convert it into hydrogen, no surplus electricity is generated, and a wind turbine grid becomes an excellent energy source that is kind to people, birds, and the earth, and makes possible a peaceful world without energy conflicts. Furthermore, by taking advantage of the characteristic that the driving direction is always constant due to this symmetrical blade structure, and creating a wind turbine structure in which the two blades are reversed, and rotating the armature side and the housing side of the generator in opposite directions, a highly efficient wind turbine can be realized, and air-suspended wind power generation and wind power generation mounted on electric vehicles can also be realized. Furthermore, by increasing the size of the leading edge cylindrical flat blade (101) in Figure 1, it can be applied to ship propulsion devices, and by providing driving energy commensurate with the fluid (208) in Figure 2 and controlling the angle of attack (215) of the leading edge cylindrical flat blade to control the Coanda effect, it can also be applied to airplane blades, propellers, helicopter rotors, drones, etc.
