Description

Hair color composition containing pigment and cosmetic composition containing same

[0001] The present invention relates to a hair color composition that does not cause hair damage or scalp hypersensitivity and does not leave marks on the hands, and a cosmetic composition comprising the same.

[0002] Hair dyeing has traditionally been used to tone down gray hair that develops with aging, or to enhance aesthetics by dyeing hair in a variety of colors or shades. Traditionally, hair dyeing involved applying a hair dye containing a hair dye composition to the hair, leaving it for a set period of time, and then dyeing. Recently, research is being conducted into methods for incorporating hair dye compositions into functional cosmetics for the hair or scalp, thereby imparting a hair dyeing effect in addition to the inherent functionality of the cosmetic.

[0003] Traditional hair dyeing compositions primarily contained oxidizing agents to decompose and bleach hair melanin and oxidize oxidizing dye precursors. However, oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide can damage hair during the bleaching process and cause scalp irritation, while oxidizing dyes can cause scalp allergic reactions. With the growing interest in both beauty and health, research is being conducted on methods to improve not only the stability of hair dyeing but also the health of hair and scalp.

[0004] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hair color composition capable of expressing various colors by combining a pigment having no coating property on hair with a DPC (Dark Polyphenol Complex) that can coat the pigment on hair when it comes into contact with oxygen.

[0050] Hereinafter, each component of the present invention will be described in more detail so that a person having ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention pertains can easily practice it; however, this is only an example, and the scope of the rights of the present invention is not limited by the following contents.

[0051] The term "comprises" as used herein is used to list materials, compositions, devices, and methods useful in the present invention, but is not limited to the listed examples.

[0052] In the present invention, “hair” refers to a thread-like structure that emerges from the surface of the skin, and encompasses body hair and scalp hair.

[0053] In the present invention, “DPC (Dark Polyphenol Complex)” means a colloidal particle including a compound of the following chemical formula 1, a first polyphenol, and a first binder, and the colloidal particle may further include a solvent used in the process of manufacturing the colloidal particle.

[0054] As used herein, terms such as “color control,” “color development,” and “various colors” refer to the color that appears in hair as a result of applying a hair color composition according to the present invention to hair.

[0055]

[0056] A hair color composition according to one specific example of the present invention is a hair color composition comprising a pigment coating agent, wherein the pigment coating agent comprises a pigment, colloidal particles and a second binder, wherein the colloidal particles comprise a compound of the following chemical formula 1, a first polyphenol and a first binder, and the hair color composition can be colored by contact with oxygen.

[0057] [Chemical Formula 1]

[0058]

[0059] Among the foods,

[0060] R1 is hydrogen, hydroxyl or carboxyl group,

[0061] R2 and R3 are independently hydrogen, carboxyl group, C1-C 10 Alkyl group, C1-C 10 Haloalkyl group, C1-C 10 Alkoxy group, C1-C 10 It is a haloalkoxy group, an amine group, or a C1-C4 aminoalkyl group.

[0062] In this specific example, when a pigment coating agent containing a mixture of the pigment and DPC is used in the process of preparing a hair color composition containing a pigment, (1) it was confirmed that the DPC can improve the coating ability of the pigment to hair, thereby enabling long-term stable dyeing of hair with the color of the pigment, (2) at the same time, the DPC also has dyeing ability to hair, so that more detailed color control and various colors can be expressed by adjusting the content of the pigment and DPC, and (3) it was confirmed that the pigment coating agent containing the pigment and the DPC does not easily transfer to the skin such as the hand.

[0063]

[0064] First, the above DPC will be explained.

[0065] Specifically, in the compound of the above chemical formula 1, R1 may be hydrogen or a hydroxyl group, and R2 and R3 may independently be hydrogen, a carboxyl group, or an amine group. Preferably, R1 may be hydrogen or a hydroxyl group, and R2 and R3 may be hydrogen.

[0066] The first binder can form a complex through intermolecular interaction with the compound of the above chemical formula 1. The first binder may form a hydrogen bond with the compound of the above chemical formula 1. The binder can increase the solubility of the compound of the above chemical formula 1 and exhibit the effects (1) to (3) of the pigment coating agent described above by wrapping or supporting the pigment.

[0067] Specifically, the first binder and the second binder to be described later may each independently be a polymer or copolymer containing vinyl alcohol as a monomer. For example, the first binder and the second binder may each independently be PEG-136 polyvinyl alcohol, Elvanol TM ) and the like; and at least one selected from the group consisting of copolymers of vinyl alcohol and glyoxal. Preferably, the first binder and the second binder may be polyvinyl alcohol.

[0068] The compound of the above formula 1 and the first binder may be included in a weight ratio of 50:1 to 1:1. Specifically, the compound of the above formula 1 and the first binder may be included in a weight ratio of 45:1, 40:1, 35:1, 30:1, 25:1, 20:1, 15:1, 10:1 or 5:1. Preferably, the compound of the above formula 1 and the first binder may be included in a weight ratio of 20:1 to 3:1. The first binder may form a complex in a form that surrounds the compound of the above formula 1, and thus may be included in an amount greater than the compound of the above formula 1 on a weight basis. If the ratio is less than 50:1, precipitation occurs during storage of the composition, and a composition in which precipitation occurs has a reduced dyeing effect on hair, and a composition in which the ratio exceeds 1:1 does not exhibit a dyeing effect on hair.

[0069] The first polyphenol may be capable of interacting with a complex formed of the compound of the chemical formula 1 and the first binder, and may be bonded to at least a portion of the surface of the complex to increase the solubility of the compound of the chemical formula 1, thereby improving the hair dyeing effect of the composition. For example, the first polyphenol may form a hydrogen bond with the hydrogen or hydroxyl group contained in the compound of the chemical formula 1 and the binder through a hydrogen or hydroxyl group.

[0070] The first polyphenol and the second polyphenol to be described below may each independently include at least one selected from the group consisting of gallic acid; tannic acid; catechin; caffeic acid; cyanidin, anthocyanidin, cyanidin-3-glucoside, and cyanidin-3-rutinoside. For example, the above anthocyanidin may be referred to as a comprehensive term including derivatives such as aurantinidin, capensinidin, delphinidin, europhinidin, hirsutidin, malvidin, pelargonidin, peonidin, petunidin, pulchelidin, and rosinidin.

[0071] The compound of the above formula 1 and the first polyphenol may be included in a weight ratio of 40:1 to 1:1. Specifically, the compound of the above formula 1 and the first polyphenol may be included in a weight ratio of 35:1, 30:1, 25:1, 20:1, 15:1, 10:1 or 5:1. Preferably, the compound of the above formula 1 and the first polyphenol may be included in a weight ratio of 20:1 to 3:1. When the content ratio of the compound of the above formula 1 and the first polyphenol is adjusted within the above range, the first polyphenol can improve the dispersibility of the compound of the above formula 1 and provide a viscosity suitable for a hair color composition or a cosmetic composition.

[0072] The above DPC can be manufactured by adding and mixing the compound of the above chemical formula 1, the first polyphenol, and the first binder into a solvent. The compound of the above chemical formula 1 and the first binder can form a complex through intermolecular interaction, and at least a portion of the complex can be dissolved in the solvent, and the remainder can exist in the form of colloidal particles. The colloidal particles have a coating property for hair, and can impart a coating property to a pigment that does not have a coating property for hair by coming into contact with oxygen.

[0073] Specifically, the colloidal particles can be formed by stirring a mixture in which the compound of the above chemical formula 1, the first polyphenol, and the first binder are added to a solvent. At this time, whether the colloidal particles are formed can be determined by the stirring temperature of the mixture. The stirring temperature of the mixture can be 25°C or more and 75°C or less. Specifically, the stirring temperature of the mixture can be 30°C or more and 60°C or less, 35°C or more and 55°C or less, or 40°C or more and 50°C or less. Preferably, the stirring temperature of the mixture can be 40°C or more and 70°C or less. When the stirring temperature of the mixture is less than 25°C, colloidal particles are not formed, and when it exceeds 75°C, the average diameter of the colloidal particles exceeds the range described below, causing precipitation in the composition.

[0074] The solvent may include, but is not limited to, water. For example, the solvent may be distilled water, ethanol, a pH buffer solution, a shampoo base, or the like. Any solvent that does not cause damage upon contact with skin or hair and can be used in a cosmetic composition may be used. Preferably, the solvent has a pH of 7 or higher and 9 or lower.

[0075] The colloidal particles may have an average diameter (D50) of 200 to 500 nm. Specifically, the average diameter of the colloidal particles may be 250 nm or more and 450 nm or less, or 300 nm or more and 400 nm or less. Preferably, the average diameter of the colloidal particles may be 200 nm or more and 450 nm or less. When the content of the compound of the above-described chemical formula 1 and the weight ratio of the compound and the binder are satisfied, the average diameter of the colloidal particles may be 200 nm or more, and when the average diameter of the colloidal particles exceeds 500 nm, precipitation occurs during storage of the composition.

[0076]

[0077] The above pigment coating agent may include a pigment, the colloidal particles DPC, and a second binder.

[0078] Specifically, the pigment itself may have low or no adhesiveness or adsorption to hair, making it difficult to form a coating layer that coats at least a portion of the hair surface. For example, the pigment may impart color to the hair upon contact with the hair, but this is temporary and the color does not last long. During the process of applying the pigment to the hair, the pigment may adhere to undesirable areas, such as the hands or arms, that are not part of the hair.

[0079] The above pigments include azo pigments such as Red No. 40 (Allura Red AC, CAS No. 25956-17-6), Red No. 228 (Permaton Red, CAS No. 2814-77-9), Yellow No. 5 (Sunset Yellow FCF, CAS No. 2783-94-0), and Black No. 401 (Naphthol Blue Black, CAS No. 1064-48-8); xanthan pigments such as Red No. 223 (Tetrabromofluorescein, CAS No. 15086-94-9); triphenylmethane pigments such as Blue No. 1 (Brilliant Blue FCF, CAS No. 3844-45-9); and indigoid pigments such as Blue No. 2 (Indigo Carmine, CAS No. 860-22-0). Pyrazoles such as Blue No. 4 (tartrazine, CAS No. 1934-21-0); and may be at least one selected from the group consisting of caramel and coffee extracts.

[0080] By adjusting the content ratio of the pigment and the DPC, the coloring of the hair color composition can be variously adjusted, the pigment can be prevented from getting on hands, and the storage stability of the composition can be secured. Specifically, the ratio may be to adjust the content ratio of the pigment and the compound of the chemical formula 1. The pigment and the compound of the chemical formula 1 may be included in a weight ratio of 0.2:1 to 15:1. Specifically, the weight ratio of the pigment and the compound of the chemical formula 1 may be 0.3:1, 0.5:1, 1:1, 1.5:1, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 5:1, 6:1, 7:1, 8:1, 9:1, 10:1, 11:1, 12:1, 13:1, 14:1, or 15:1. The DPC containing the compound of the above chemical formula 1 can maintain a bond to the hair through interaction with the hair while wrapping or supporting at least a portion of the pigment and can not be transferred to the hands. If the content of the pigment is higher than the above weight ratio range, the pigment not wrapped or supported by the DPC may be transferred to the hands. If the content of the pigment is higher than the above weight ratio range, precipitation may occur in the hair color composition and the dyeing power may be reduced. If the content of the DPC is higher than the above weight ratio range, the colloidal particles constituting the DPC may clump together to form a precipitate due to interaction between the colloidal particles, and the storage stability of the hair color composition may be reduced.

[0081] The second binder can bind the pigment and the colloidal particles, and further enhance the coating ability of the pigment on hair by the colloidal particles. The second binder may be the same as or different from the first binder, but is preferably the same as the first binder.

[0082] The hair color composition containing the above pigment coating agent can be colored by exposure to air or oxygen for 1 to 60 minutes, preferably 1 to 30 minutes, and most preferably 1 to 3 minutes. Therefore, the hair color composition uses oxygen in the air, which is harmless to the human body, as an oxidizing agent and does not require an oxidizing agent such as hydrogen peroxide, so that hair can be colored without damage to the hair or irritation to the scalp caused by hydrogen peroxide.

[0083]

[0084] Another specific example of the present invention relates to a hair color composition in which a color control agent is further added to the hair color composition according to the preceding specific example.

[0085] Specifically, the color control agent may be at least one selected from the group consisting of Indian gooseberry extract (Phyllanthus EmblicaExtract) and graphene. Preferably, the color control agent may be an Indian gooseberry extract. The Indian gooseberry refers to at least one of the aerial part, fruit, and underground part thereof, and the Indian gooseberry extract refers to at least one of the aerial part extract, the fruit extract, and the underground part extract. Preferably, the Indian gooseberry extract may be the aerial part extract. The extraction method for obtaining the extract is not limited.

[0086] A hair color composition further comprising the color control agent can be more easily color-controlled and exhibit a wider range of colors than a hair color composition comprising only the pigment coating agent described above. The color control agent can function as an antioxidant in the hair color composition, and can control the degree of hair coating property exhibited by DPC when oxidized by oxygen. Specifically, the DPC included in the pigment coating agent can impart hair coating property of the pigment and control the degree thereof to exhibit a variety of colors; however, there may be a limit to the range of colors that can be combined within the aforementioned content range for securing the effect of using DPC. For example, when applying a combination of a pigment and DPC to hair, the value of at least one of lightness and saturation (based on the Munsell color system) may be lowered compared to when applying only the pigment to hair. The color control agent can control the degree of coating property of the DPC to facilitate color development of the hair color composition by the pigment, and can implement a color having high lightness and saturation values in the final dyed hair despite the use of DPC.

[0087] The color control agent and the compound of the above chemical formula 1 can be used in a weight ratio of 0.6:1 to 50:1. Specifically, the color control agent and the compound of the above chemical formula 1 can be used in a weight ratio of 0.666:1, 1:1, 5:1, 10:1, 15:1, 20:1, 25:1, 30:1, 35:1, 40:1, or 45:1. Within the above weight ratio range, a color development control effect can be secured by adding the color control agent.

[0088]

[0089] Another specific embodiment of the present invention relates to a hair color composition comprising a hair repair agent added to the hair color composition according to any of the preceding specific embodiments. The hair repair agent can prevent a decrease in hair dyeing power or durability of the hair color composition according to any of the above specific embodiments, reduce hair damage, or improve the physical properties of hair.

[0090] The above hair repair agent may include a second polyphenol. The second polyphenol may be the same as or different from the first polyphenol described above. For example, tannic acid can improve hair strength, and gallic acid can reduce static electricity generated in hair.

[0091] Preferably, the hair repair agent may include two or more second polyphenols selected from the group consisting of tannic acid, gallic acid, and caffeic acid. A hair color composition including the hair repair agent can maintain the dyeing power after dyeing hair with a pigment coating agent, improve the hair's deformation rate, and prevent static electricity from occurring in the hair, thereby providing excellent satisfaction after dyeing.

[0092]

[0093] Another specific example of the present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising a hair color composition according to the preceding specific example. The cosmetic composition may include DPC and a functional cosmetic composition for application to hair or scalp, and the hair cosmetic composition may include at least one selected from the group consisting of hair shampoo, hair rinse, hair dye pen, hair tonic, hair conditioner, hair essence, hair lotion, hair treatment, hair cream, hair wax, hair pack, hair oil, hair drying agent, hair preservation treatment agent, hair dye, hair waving agent, hair bleaching agent, hair gel, hair glaze, hair lacquer, hair moisturizer, hair mousse, and hair spray.

[0094] The cosmetic composition may encompass a first agent of a certain formulation and a second agent of a different formulation from the first agent. Specifically, the first agent and the second agent may each be a hair color composition comprising the colloidal particles. For example, the first agent, the hair color composition, may be a hair shampoo, and the second agent, the hair color composition, may be a hair conditioner. In this case, the second agent, the hair conditioner, may be used after the first agent to promote the coloring effect of the first agent.

[0095] The cosmetic composition may be a mixture of a hair color composition and a composition according to the formulation of the cosmetic composition. For example, the cosmetic composition may be a single-formulation hair shampoo composition, and the cosmetic composition may be a mixture of a hair color composition and a shampoo base composition. Alternatively, the cosmetic composition may be a single-formulation hair conditioner composition, and the cosmetic composition may be a mixture of a hair color composition and a hair conditioner base composition.

[0096] Specifically, if the cosmetic composition is a hair shampoo composition, the shampoo base composition may include purified water, sodium C 14 - 16Olefin sulfonate, disodium laureth sulfosuccinate, cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, sodium cocoyl isethionate, glycerin, lauryl glucoside, sodium chloride, sorbitol, 1,2-hexanediol, panthenol, black sesame extract, black mulberry fruit extract, black truffle extract, black cumin seed extract, black cherry fruit extract, butylene glycol, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, trideceth-6, trideceth-12, ethylhexylglycerin, niacinamide, caprylyl glycol, polyquaternium-10, menthol, citric acid, hydrochloric acid, salicylic acid, maltodextrin, amodimethicone, fragrance, limonene, linalool, hexyl cinnamal, May contain benzyl benzoate, citronellol, eugenol, citral, benzyl alcohol, geraniol, cinnamal, coumarin, and amyl cinnamic acid.

[0098] For example, the cosmetic composition may be a hair shampoo composition or a hair conditioner composition, and may contain 8 to 10 parts by weight of DPC and 0.01 to 1.0 parts by weight of pigment based on 100 parts by weight of the total cosmetic composition. Preferably, the cosmetic composition may contain 8 to 9 parts by weight of DPC and 0.01 to 0.05 parts by weight of pigment based on 100 parts by weight of the total cosmetic composition. The cosmetic composition may contain DPC and the pigment in the above content ranges to simultaneously secure the inherent function of a hair shampoo or hair conditioner, as well as the effect of dyeing hair by the DPC and pigment and preventing the pigment from transferring to the hands.

[0099]

[0100] Another specific embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for dyeing hair, comprising the step of contacting hair with a hair color composition according to the preceding specific embodiment.
