Abstract
Description
[0001] CEMENT WALL STRUCTURE
[0002] Field of the invention
[0003] The present disclosure relates to a cement wall structure, particularly to a cement wall structure formed using high-performance cement via 3D printing, which provides thermal insulation.
[0004] Background of the invention
[0005] In recent years, where both housing prices and living costs are rising, more and more young people find it difficult to afford or rent a house. As a result, many people have started converting shipping containers, originally used for loading and transporting goods, into living spaces. There is also an emerging trend of metal box-like structures, which offer various size options according to users' needs. Like container homes, these structures are inexpensive and mobile, making them increasingly popular. However, both container homes and these so-called space capsules are highly energy-consuming buildings. Since container homes are made of steel, they tend to have drawbacks like conducting heat easily and prone to rust.
[0006] Additionally, in the summer, the interior temperature of a container home easily rises, it often requires air conditioning to provide a comfortable living environment. In the winter, it is difficult for the container home to retain warmness, it is necessary to use heating systems to maintain a stable indoor temperature to get through the winter. Consequently, living in a container home, whether in summer or winter, requires a substantial amount of electricity, which increases the living costs. Therefore, how to achieve the goals of effectively regulating interior temperature (warm in winter, cool in summer), and reducing carbon emissions and electricity consumption through innovative hardware designs has become a key challenge for developers and researchers in the housing and construction industries.
[0007] Summary of the invention
[0008] In view of this, the inventors recognize that there are still numerous shortcomings presented while implementing the traditional cement wall structures. With a spirit of perseverance, supported by extensive professional knowledge and years of practical experience, they have dedicated themselves to improve these designs and developed the present disclosure.
[0009] The primary objective of this disclosure is to provide a cement wall structure, particularly to a cement wall structure formed using high-performance cement via 3D printing, which provides thermal insulation. By the design of the hollow wall panels through 3D printing, external air may effectively enter through holes opened at the base plate and support plate at the bottom of the cement wall structure to form an air layer within the wall panels for fire resistance, thermal insulation and ventilation. It indeed achieves the desired effect of keeping the interior of the structure warm in winter and cool in summer, reduces the carbon emissions of the buildings to achieve the sustainable environment goals and allows the use of different construction methods depending on the conditions at the construction site.
[0010] To achieve the above-mentioned objectives, the inventors propose a cement wall structure being arranged around a peripheral of a box-like body. The cement wall structure at least comprises a base plate, a plurality of support plates and a plurality wall panels. The base plate is arranged around a peripheral of the bottom of the box-like body, wherein the base plate has a plurality of first holes penetrating the base plate and a plurality of vertical plates extending downward from the base plate. The plurality of support plates are secured correspondingly to the base plate by a plurality of fasteners, wherein each support plate has a plurality of second holes penetrating the support plate that are arranged correspondingly to the plurality of first holes. The plurality of wall panels are formed correspondingly on the support plates, with an accommodating space formed inside the wall panels and the accommodating space is arranged with a plurality of interconnected support pieces.
[0011] In the cement wall structure described above, wherein the box-like body includes a bottom, a top corresponding to the bottom and a plurality of sides arranged between the bottom and the top. The plurality of sides are covered by the plurality of wall panels. Three sides and an entrance are arranged between the bottom and the top.
[0012] In the cement wall structure described above, wherein the fasteners are screws that correspondingly secure the base plate to the support plate.
[0013] In the cement wall structure described above, wherein the plurality of wall panels are formed by 3D printing of a casting material.
[0014] In the cement wall structure described above, wherein the cement wall structure may further comprise three support plates and three wall panels formed correspondingly on the support plates.
[0015] To achieve the above-mentioned objectives, the inventors also propose another cement wall structure being arranged around a peripheral of a box-like body. The cement wall structure at least comprises a plurality of base plates, a wall panel and a plurality of reinforcement pieces. The plurality of base plates are arranged around a peripheral of the bottom of the box-like body. The wall panel is formed correspondingly on the plurality of base plates, with an accommodating space formed inside the wall panel, wherein the accommodating space is arranged with a plurality of interconnected support pieces and a plurality of ventilation pipes near the plurality of base plates. The plurality of reinforcement pieces are placed correspondingly into the wall panel.
[0016] In the cement wall structure described above, wherein the box-like body includes a bottom, a top corresponding to the bottom and a plurality of sides arranged between the bottom and the top. The plurality of sides are covered by the wall panel. Three sides and an entrance are arranged between the bottom and the top. In the cement wall structure described above, wherein the wall panel is formed by 3D printing of a casting material.
[0017] In the cement wall structure described above, wherein the ventilation pipes comprise two openings and a side arranged between the two openings, with a plurality of third holes opened on the side.
[0018] In the cement wall structure described above, wherein the plurality of reinforcement pieces penetrate the fourth holes opened on the side of the box-like body and correspondingly secure to the wall panels.
[0019] Thus, by the design of the hollow wall panels through 3D printing, external air may effectively enter through holes opened at the base plate and support plate at the bottom of the cement wall structure of the present disclosure to form an air layer within the wall panels for fire resistance, thermal insulation and ventilation. It indeed achieves the desired effect of keeping the interior of the structure warm in winter and cool in summer. Additionally, it reduces the carbon emissions of the buildings to achieve the sustainable environment goals and allows the use of different construction methods depending on the conditions at the construction site.

[0035] Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiments
[0036] For the examiner to understand the technical features, content, advantages, and effects of the present disclosure, the disclosure is described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. The drawings are for illustrating and assisting understanding of the specification purposes only and do not necessarily reflect the actual proportions and configurations after implementation. Therefore, the scope of the disclosure should not be interpreted or limited by the proportions and configurations of the drawings.
[0037] First, please refer to Figures 1 to 3, which show the top view, bottom view and exploded view of the overall structure of a preferred embodiment of the cement wall structure of the present disclosure. The cement wall structure (1) is arranged around a peripheral of a box-like body (2). The cement wall structure (1) is composed of a base plate (11), a plurality of support plates (12) and a plurality wall panels (13). The box-like body (2) is in square-shape and includes a bottom (21), a top (22) corresponding to the bottom (21) and a plurality of sides (23) between the bottom (21) and the top (22), where the sides (23) are covered by the wall panels (13). There are three sides (23) and an entrance (24) arranged between the bottom (21) and the top (22). The entrance (24) provides a passage for a user (not shown) to enter and exit the box-like body (2). The box-like body (2) may be constructed from one of a cargo container, a metal shed or similar types of buildings that are constructed by metal. In another words, in the preferred embodiment of the present disclosure, the box-like body (2) may be, for example, and not limited to, in the form of a cargo container. The cement wall structure (1) of the present disclosure thereby mainly utilizes high-performance cement to form hollow wall panels (13) via 3D printing. This design effectively allows external air to enter through a plurality of first holes (111) and a plurality of second holes (122) opened in the base plate (11) and the support plates (12), to form an air layer inside the wall panels (13) for fire prevention, thermal insulation and ventilation. It indeed achieves the desired effect of keeping the interior of the cement wall structure (1) warm in winter and cool in summer. Additionally, it reduces the carbon emissions of the buildings to achieve the sustainable environment goals and allows the use of different construction methods depending on the conditions at the construction site. It should be noted that the high-performance cement composes of natural materials such as red soil mixed cement, lime and rice husks.
[0038] The base plates (11) are arranged around the peripheral of the bottom (21) of the box-like body (2) and has a plurality of first holes (111) penetrating through the base plates and a plurality of vertical plates (112) extending downward from the base plates, where the plurality of vertical plates (112) may be made of, for example, and not limited to C-shaped steel. These vertical plates (112) are for elevating the entire cement wall structure (1) to form an airflow space (not shown), allowing external air to enter through the plurality of first holes (111) from the airflow space.
[0039] The plurality of support plates (12) are secured correspondingly to the plurality of base plates (11) by a plurality of fasteners (121). Each support plate (12) has a plurality of second holes (122) penetrating the support plate (12) arranged correspondingly to the first holes (111). The fasteners (121) are screws that correspondingly secure the base plate (11) to the support plate (12). Referring to Figure 3 again, in this preferred embodiment of the present disclosure, the cement wall structure (1) includes three support plates (12) arranged on the base plate (11). The support plate (12) consists of one first sub-support plate (123) in an “II” shape and two corresponding second sub-support plates (124) connected to both ends of the first sub- support plate (123). The first sub- support plate (123) and the second sub- support plates (124) are penetrated with a plurality of second holes (122). The positions of the plurality of second holes (122) are corresponding to the positions of the first holes (111). Air within the airflow space enters the first holes (111) and then flows towards the second holes (122).
[0040] The wall panels (13) are formed correspondingly by 3D printing of a casting material on the support plate (12) and cover the sides (23) of the box-like body (2), that is, the wall panels (13) are in contact with the support plate (12) and the sides (23) respectively, wherein the casting material may be, for example, and not limited to high-performance cement. In addition, the cement wall structure (1) comprises three wall panels (13) which is as the same as the number of the support panels (12). That is, one first sub-wall panel (133) is in an “II” shape and two corresponding second sub- wall panel (134) are connected to both ends of the first sub- wall panel (133). The first sub-wall panel (133) is correspondingly formed on the first sub-support plate (123) and the second sub-wall panels (134) are correspondingly formed on the second sub-support plates (124). Since the first sub-wall panel (133) and the second sub-wall panels (134) may be made separately and then combined together to make the wall panels (13), the wall panels (13) may be formed on the support board (12) by 3D printing in the factory then transported to the construction site to be assembled with the base plate (11), so as to save the trouble of moving the 3D printing machine to the construction site for printing, or solve the shortcomings that the site of the construction site is small and cannot support 3D printing. It can achieve benefits like accelerating the speed for constructing the cement wall structure (1), therefore, the cement wall structure (1) of the present disclosure can effectively use different construction methods depending on the conditions of the construction sites.
[0041] Furthermore, please refer to Figure 4, which is the top view of the support piece arrangement of the preferred embodiment of the cement wall structure of the present disclosure, wherein the wall panels (13) are wall bodies with hollow interior and the accommodating space is formed inside the wall panels. The accommodating space is arranged with a plurality of interconnected support pieces (131), wherein the support pieces (131) is a reinforcement rib which is primarily for supporting the wall panel (13) and enhance the strength of the wall panel (13). Please also refer to Figure 5, which is the schematic diagram of the support piece arrangement of another preferred embodiment of the cement wall structure of the present disclosure, wherein the support pieces (131) are interconnected and cross to each other. It can also achieve the effect of acting as reinforcement ribs so that the wall panel (13) is sturdier.
[0042] Furthermore, please also refer to Figure 6, which is the schematic diagram of air flow of one of the preferred embodiments of the cement wall structure of the present disclosure. Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view along line A-A' of Figure 4. As indicated by the arrows marked with dashed lines in Figure 6, the air external to the cement wall structure (1) enters from below of the cement wall structure (1) via the airflow space formed by elevating the plurality of vertical panels (112). The air then enters the accommodating space of the wall panel (13) via the first holes (111) arranged correspondingly of the base plate (11) and the second holes (122) of the support plate (12). The air finally exits the cement wall structure (1) from the top end of the wall panel (13). Since the accommodating space of the wall panel (13) provides a path for external air to flow, the cement wall structure (1) may achieve the characteristics of air circulation and a comfortable temperature in both winter and summer.
[0043] Please also refer to Figure 7, which is the top view of the overall structure of a second preferred embodiment of the cement wall structure of the present disclosure. In this embodiment, the cement wall structure (1) is arranged around a peripheral of a box-like body (2). The cement wall structure (1) is composed of a plurality of base plates (11), one wall panel (13) and a plurality of reinforcement pieces (14). The difference between the second preferred embodiment and the first preferred embodiment of the cement wall structure (1) is that the second preferred embodiment does not include the arrangement of the support plate (12), the configuration of the base plate (11) is changed and adds the arrangement of reinforcement pieces (14) between the box-like body (2) and the wall panel (13), as well as ventilation pipes (132) arranged between the base plate (11) and the wall panel (13).
[0044] Additionally, please refer to Figure 8, which is the schematic diagram of the base plate arrangement in the second preferred embodiment of the cement wall structure of the present disclosure. The plurality of base plates (11) that are arranged around the peripheral of the bottom (21) of the box-like body (2) are made of one or more types of materials, such as sleepers, driftwoods or various types of wood. In the second preferred embodiment of the present disclosure, the box-like body (2) is also in the form of a container house and the base plates (11) may be, for example, and not limited to sleepers. Since sleepers are heavier in weight and in square shape, a plurality of base plates (11) that are joined together may be stably placed on the ground to provide the support for the wall panels (13) placed on top so that the wall panels (13) and the overall cement wall structure (1) are stable and not wobbly.
[0045] Furthermore, please refer to Figures 9 to 11, which are the schematic diagram and enlarged view of the ventilation pipes arrangement and the schematic diagram of the cement wall structure arrangement in the second preferred embodiment of the cement wall structure of the present disclosure. Figure 10 is the enlarged view of the structure indicated by the circle in Figure 9. Similarly, the wall panels (13) formed by 3D printing of a casting material are correspondingly formed on the sleepers of the plurality of base plates (11) and cover the sides (23) of the box-like body (2). To place the ventilation pipes (132) for ventilation, it is necessary to use 3D printing to form the wall panels (13) on the sleepers of the base plates (11) first, then place the ventilation pipes (132) at intervals on the wall panels (13). Each ventilation pipe (132) includes two openings (1321) and a side (1322) between the two openings (1321), where a plurality of third holes (1323) are opened on the side (1322). Then, using 3D printing, a plurality of layers of wall panels (13) are sequentially formed on the ventilation pipes (132). Finally, a plurality of reinforcement pieces (14) are used to correspondingly secure the wall panel ( 13) to the box-like body (2) from the direction of internal side of the box-like body (2) through a plurality of fourth holes (231) opened on the side (23) of the box-like body (2), making the wall panel (13) more stable.
[0046] Please refer to Figure 12, which is a top view of the overall structure of the second preferred embodiment of the cement wall structure of the present disclosure. In this embodiment, the accommodating space of the wall panel (13) is arranged with a plurality of interconnected support pieces (131). The plurality of interconnected support pieces are like the ones in the first preferred embodiment, act as a role of reinforcement ribs which is primarily for supporting the wall panel (13) and enhance the strength of the wall panel (13). Additionally, refer to Figures 13 and 14, which are schematic diagrams of air flow and reinforcement piece arrangement for the second preferred embodiment of the cement wall structure of the present disclosure. Figures 13 and 14 are cross-sectional views along lines B-B' and C-C of Figure 12, respectively. In Figure 13, the ventilation pipes (132) arranged between the base plate (11) and the wall panel (13) mainly provide a channel for external air to enter the accommodating space of the wall panel (13). That is, after the external air enters the ventilation pipe (132) through one opening (1321) of the ventilation pipe (132), the air can flow through the other opening (1321) and the third holes (1323) arranged on the side into the accommodating space of the wall panel (13). Eventually, the air exits the wall panel (13) via the opening of the top end of the wall panel (13). Since the accommodating space of the wall panel (13) provides a space for external air flow, it can achieve the characteristics of air circulation and a comfortable temperature in both winter and summer. Furthermore, Figure 14 clearly shows that the reinforcement pieces (14) may be correspondingly arranged and retained between the side (23) of the box-like body (2) and the interior of the wall panel (13) to effectively combine the side (23) of the box-like body (2) with the wall panel (13) so that the wall panel (13) and the side (23) of the box-like body (2) are combined with more stability and achieve the desirable effect of reinforcement.
[0047] Furthermore, since the wall panel (13) in the second preferred embodiment of the present disclosure has a "U-shaped" wall structure, when the peripheral of the construction site permits, the 3D printing machine may be moved to the construction site for printing, which allows for adjustments to the printing pattern based on the conditions at the site. Therefore, the cement wall structure (1) of the present disclosure may effectively use different construction methods depending on the conditions at the construction site.
[0048] From the above embodiments, it is clear that the cement wall structure of the present disclosure has the following advantages compared to existing technologies and products:
[0049] 1. The cement wall structure of the present disclosure is primarily designed with high-performance cement in a hollow form through 3D printing. External air effectively enters through holes opened at the base plate and support plate at the bottom of the cement wall structure to form an air layer within the wall panels for fire resistance, thermal insulation and ventilation. This indeed ensures that the interior of the house is warm in winter and cool in summer, reduces the carbon emissions of buildings to achieve the sustainable environment goals and allows the use of different construction methods depending on the conditions at the construction site.
[0050] In summary, the cement wall structure of the present disclosure indeed achieves the intended effect as disclosed in the above embodiments. The disclosure has not been publicly disclosed before the application and thus fully complies with the provisions and requirements of the Patent Law. Therefore, a patent application is respectfully submitted, and a favorable review and grant of the patent are sincerely requested.
[0051] However, the illustrations and descriptions provided are merely preferred embodiments of the present disclosure and are not intended to limit the scope of protection. Any equivalent variations or modifications made by those skilled in the art based on the features of the present disclosure should be considered as falling within the scope of the disclosure.
