Abstract
Description
[0001] Fire cartridge structure and method for forming it
[0002] Background of the invention
[0003] The invention relates to a fire cartridge structure. Particularly, the in- vention relates to a fire cartridge structure assembled by means of an adhesive.
[0004] For fire safety, vehicles must be divided into separate fire compart- ments at specific intervals. Such a requirement for dividing into fire compartments exists for rail traffic carriages, such as train carriages and underground train car- riages.
[0005] Typically, fire cartridge structures utilize welded structure because of fire resistance. However, a problem of a welded fire cartridge structure is e.g. that welding may cause distortions to the structure and thus bring on dimensional er- rors in the fire cartridge structure.
[0006] Brief description of the invention
[0007] It is an object of the present invention to provide a new type of a fire cartridge structure. The solution according to the invention Is characterized by what is disclosed in the independent claims. Some embodiments of the invention are presented in the dependent claims.
[0008] In the presented solution, the fire cartridge structure comprises a first fire-resistant plate and a second fire-resistant plate attached to a profile by means of an adhesive for forming a fire-resistant structure. Furthermore, the profile com- prises at least one first adhesive groove wherein there is adhesive for attaching the first fire-resistant plate to the profile. Additionally, the profile comprises at least one second adhesive groove wherein there is adhesive for attaching the second fire-resistant plate to the profile. The presented solution easily provides a dimen- sionally accurate structure because the adhesive does not cause distortions to the structure during assembly.
[0009] According to an embodiment, the profile of the fire cartridge structure comprises at least two first adhesive grooves wherein there is adhesive for attach- ing the first fire-resistant plate to the profile. Such a solution is constructionally durable and simple to assemble by means of adhesive. The forming of said struc- ture by welding would be extremely challenging.
[0010] According to an embodiment, the first fire-resistant plate covers at least one first adhesive groove for protecting the adhesive from fire seen from the cross- section of the profile. This type of solution is structurally durable and simple to assemble. For example, it would not be possible to implement the hiding of a welded structure between the fire-resistant plate and the profile.
[0011] According to an embodiment, the first fire-resistant plate comprises al- uminium, steel, stainless steel, galvanized iron, or glass-fibre laminate as its mate- rial, and the profile comprises aluminium or steel as its material. The adhesive en- ables to the use of materials different from each other for the profile and the fire- resistant plate.
[0012] In an embodiment, the profile comprises at least one lightening opening arranged in its longitudinal direction and located inside of it, in relation to which attachment openings are at an angle. In such a solution, there is no need to remove so much material for the attachment openings compared with a solution without attachment holes.

[0020] Detailed description of the invention
[0021] Figure 1 schematically shows a fire cartridge structure 1 seen in the cross-section of a profile 100 therein, wherein fire-resistant plates and profiles do not include cross-sectional lines for clarity.
[0022] The fire cartridge structure 1, in other words, the fire cartridge element, is a structure the purpose of which is to form a fire-resistanct effect in the applica- tion. The fire cartridge structure may be utilized e.g. in a moving vehicle, such as rail traffic carriages. Typically, a moving vehicle is susceptible to vibration and great temperature variations which the fire cartridge structure must endure to maintain appropriate operation.
[0023] The fire cartridge structure 1 comprises a first fire-resistant plate 10 and a second fire-resistant plate 20 attached to a profile 100 by means of an adhe- sive 30 for forming a fire-resistant structure. The profile 100 comprises atleastone first adhesive groove 110 wherein there is adhesive 30 for attaching the first fire- resistant plate 10 to the profile 100. Additionally, the profile 100 comprises at least one second adhesive groove 120 wherein there is adhesive 30 for attaching the second fire-resistant plate 20 to the profile 100. The first adhesive groove 110 is in other words an adhesive groove 110, or in other words, a first glue groove 110. The second adhesive groove 120 is in other words an adhesive groove 120, or in other words, a second glue groove 120. The adhesive 30 is in other words glue 30.
[0024] The first fire-resistant plate 10 of the figures is a planar piece which, for its part, forms the fire-resistant effect in the fire cartridge structure 1. The first fire- resistant plate 10 comprises a first planar surface 12 and a second planar surface 14 on its opposite side. A gap between said first planar surface 12 and second pla- nar surface 14 on its opposite side forms for the first fire-resistant plate 10 its thickness. The thickness of the first fire-resistant plate 10 may be e.g. 1-30 mm depending on the application and requirements set for the fire cartridge structure. More preferably, said thickness may be 1-5 mm. The first fire-resistant plate 10 comprises an end edge 16. The end edge 16 surrounds the first planar surface 12 and the second planar surface 14, or in other words, the end edge 16 is located in an area between the first planar surface 12 and the second planar surface 14, or in other words, the end edge 16 is located at an end forming the thickness of the first fire-resistant plate 16. The second planar surface 14 of the first fire-resistant plate 10 may be e.g. a visible surface in the application, such as e.g. inside a train. If a fire starts inside the train, thermal energy is typically applied on the first fire-resistant plate 10 before thermal energy is applied to the second fire-resistant plate 20, Said end edge 16 is in other words a first end edge 16.
[0025] Correspondingly, the second fire-resistant plate 20 of the figures is a planar piece which, for its part, forms the fire-resistant effect in the fire cartridge structure 1. The second fire-resistant plate 20 comprises a first planar surface 22 and a second planar surface 24 on its opposite side. A gap between said first planar surface 22 and second planar surface 24 on its opposite side forms for the first fire- resistant plate 20 its thickness. The thickness of the second fire-resistant plate 20 may be e.g. 1-30 mm depending on the application and requirements set for the fire cartridge structure. More preferably, said thickness may be 1-5 mm. The sec- ond fire-resistant plate 20 comprises an end edge 26. Said end edge 26 surrounds the first planar surface 22 and the second planar surface 24, or in other words, the end edge 26 is located in an area between the first planar surface 22 and the second planar surface 24, or in other words, the end edge 26 is located at an end forming the thickness of the first fire-resistant plate 26. The second planar surface 24 of the second fire-resistant plate 20 may be e.g. a concealed surface in its application e.g. against a train wall, or e.g. a visible surface in the application, such as e.g. inside the train when the fire cartridge structure 1 operates as a space dividing element. Said end edge is in other words a second end edge 26.
[0026] The first fire-resistant plate 10 of the figures comprises aluminium, steel, stainless steel, galvanized iron, or glass-fibre laminate as its material. Corre- spondingly, the second fire-resistant plate 20 of the figures comprises aluminium, steel, stainless steel, galvanized iron, or glass-fibre laminate as its material. The dif- ferent material selections are partly possible because said fire-resistant plates are attached to the profile 100 by means of the adhesive 30.
[0027] The first fire-resistant plate 10 of the figures covers one opening going to the first adhesive groove 110 for protecting the adhesive 30 from fire seen in the cross-section of the profile 100. The first fire-resistant plate 10 covers at least one opening going to the first adhesive groove 110 for protecting the adhesive 30 from fire seen in the cross-section of the profile 100. In other words, the first fire-re- sistant plate 10 and the first adhesive groove 110 surround the adhesive 30 seen in the cross-section of the profile 100. The first fire-resistant plate 10 thus extends on both edges of the first adhesive groove 110 and to the opening remining be- tween the edges.
[0028] The adhesive 30 of the figures is in other words glue. The adhesive 30 is typically liquid or paste. The adhesive 30 is configured to harden and thus attach to the piece. In more detail, the adhesive 30 is elastic constructional glue for assist- ing adhesion. The elastic constructional glue is configured to yield between the pro- file 100 and the first fire-resistant plate 10 or the second fire-resistant plate 20 abutting it. The adhesive comprises polyurethanes or silane-modified polymers as its material, The adhesive may be e.g. a one-component adhesive, such as e.g. a one- component polyurethane adhesive. The elastic constructional glue enables the ap- propriate operation of the fire cartridge structure in the operating temperature range which may be e.g. -50°C...+80°C. A purpose of the adhesive 30 is to adhere to the profile and the abutting fire-resistant plate also in situations where the profile and the fire-resistant plate expand thermally differently due to e.g. the profile and the fire-resistant plate comprising different materials or thermal energy is applied on the fire-resistant plate before the profile.
[0029] The profile 100 of the figures is an elongated piece, the cross-section of which profile 100 is shown e.g. in Figure 1 perpendicularly in relation to the longi- tudinal direction of the profile. The profile 100 places the first fire-resistant plate 10 and the second fire-resistant plate 20 at a distance from each other thus forming a fire-resistant structure. In more detail, the profile 100 places the first fire-re- sistant plate 10 at a distance of the first planar surface 12 from the first planar sur- face 22 of the second fire-resistant plate 20. The profile 100 comprises a first planar surface 100A and a second planar surface 100B on its opposite side. The first planar surface 100A of the profile 100 and the second planar surface 100B on its opposite side are placed substantially parallel. An area between said side surfaces comprises a third planar surface 100C and a fourth planar surface 1001) on its opposite side.
[0030] The profile 100 of the figures comprises aluminium as its material. The profile 100 may comprise aluminium or steel as its material. The profile 100 may be manufactured e.g. by extrusion.
[0031] The profile 100 of the figures comprises two first adhesive grooves 110 wherein there is adhesive 30 for attaching the first fire-resistant plate 10 to the profile 100. The profile 100 may comprise at least one first adhesive groove 110 wherein there is adhesive 30 for attaching the first fire-resistant plate 10 to the profile 100. The profile 100 may comprise at least two first adhesive grooves 110 wherein there is adhesive 30 for attaching the first fire-resistant plate 10 to the profile 100. The adhesive 30 is adhered to the profile 100 and the first adhesive groove 110,
[0032] Correspondingly, the profile 100 of the figures comprises two second adhesive grooves 120 wherein there is adhesive 30 for attaching the second fire- resistant plate 20 to the profile 100. The profile 100 may comprise at least one sec- ond adhesive groove 120 wherein there is adhesive 30 for attaching the second fire-resistant plate 20 to the profile 100. The profile 100 may comprise at least two second adhesive grooves 120 wherein there is adhesive 30 for attaching the second fire-resistant plate 20 to the profile 100. The adhesive 30 is adhered to the profile 100 and the second adhesive groove 120.
[0033] The two first adhesive grooves 110 of the profile 100 of the figures are located on the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100. At least one first adhe- sive groove 110 is located on the first planar surface 100A of the profile. At least two first adhesive grooves 110 are located on the first planar surface 100A of the profile. The first fire-resistant plate 10 is arranged against the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100. Said at least two first adhesive grooves 110 are arranged against / towards the first planar surface 12 of the first fire-resistant plate 10 for forming a firm attachment, or in other words, the first planar surface 12 of the first fire-resistant plate 10 is arranged against / towards at least two first adhesive grooves 110 for forming a firm attachment. The first adhesive grooves 110 of the profile 100 are located at a distance from each other on the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100 seen in the cross-section of the profile 100. In other words, the first adhesive grooves 110 of the profile 100 are apart from each other on the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100 seen in the cross-section of the profile 100.
[0034] Correspondingly, the two second adhesive grooves 120 of the profile 100 of the figures are located on the second planar surface 100B of the profile 100. At least one second adhesive groove 120 is located on the second planar surface 100B of the profile. At least two second adhesive grooves 120 are located on the second planar surface 100B of the profile. The second fire-resistant plate 20 is ar- ranged against the second planar surface 100B of the profile 100. Said at least two second adhesive grooves 120 are arranged against the first planar surface 22 of the second fire-resistant plate 20 for forming a firm attachment, or in other words, the first planar surface 22 of the second fire-resistant plate 20 is arranged against at least two first adhesive grooves for forming a firm attachment The second adhe- sive grooves 120 of the profile 100 are located at a distance from each other on the second planar surface 100B of the profile 100 seen in the cross-section of the pro- file 100. In other words, the second adhesive grooves 120 of the profile 100 are located apart from each other on the second planar surface 100B of the profile 100 seen in the cross-section of the profile 100.
[0035] One of the first adhesive grooves 110 being against the first planar sur- face of the first fire-resistant plate 10 of the profile 100 of the figures further ex- tends until the edge of the first planar surface 12 of the first fire-resistant plate 10. In other words, one first adhesive groove 110 of the profile 100 extends to the end edge 16 between the first planar surface 12 and second planar surface 14 of the first fire-resistant plate, or in other words, at least one first adhesive groove 110 of the profile extends until the first planar surface 12 beside the end edge 16 of the first fire-resistant plate 10. For its part, the above-mentioned enables the first fire- resistant plate forming a firm attachment on the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100.
[0036] Correspondingly, one of the second adhesive grooves 120 being against the first planar surface of the second fire-resistant plate 20 of the profile 100 of the figures further extends until the edge of the first planar surface 12 of the second fire-resistant plate 20. In other words, one second adhesive groove 120 of the pro- file 100 extends to the end edge 26 between the first planar surface 22 and second planar surface 24 of the second fire-resistant plate, or in other words, at least one second adhesive groove 120 of the profile extends until the first planar surface 22 beside the end edge 26 of the second fire-resistant plate 20. For its part, the above- mentioned enables forming a firm attachment on the second planar surface 100B of the profile 100.
[0037] Furthermore, the depth of each adhesive groove 110, 120 of the profile 100 is at least 2 mm. The width of each adhesive groove 110, 120 may be e.g. at least 2 mm, or e.g. 4-100 mm, or e.g. 5-50 mm, or e.g. 6-30 mm, or e.g. 10-20 mm.
[0038] The profile 100 of the figures comprises a limiter projection 130 (in other words, a first limiter projection 130 ) for limiting the position of the first fire- resistant plate 10, towards which limiter projection 130 the end edge 16 of the first fire-resistant plate 10 is arranged. In other words, the profile 100 comprises a lim- iter projection 130 limiting the first fire-resistant plate 10. The limiter projection 130 is located in the corner of the profile 100, The limiter projection 130 extends over the firstplanar surface 100A of the profile 100, The limiter projection 130 and the first adhesive grooves 110 are located on the opposite sides in relation to the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100. The limiter projection 130 operates as a seal groove for an attachment with play such that the gap between the end edge 16 of the first fire-resistant plate 10 and the limiter projection 130 is configured to receive a finishing adhesive 32, or in other words, said gap is configured to be sealed with the finishing adhesive, The presented solution is constructionally du- rable and simple to assemble by means of adhesive 32. The forming of said struc- ture by welding would be extremely challenging.
[0039] The profile 100 is an edge profile of the fire cartridge structure 1. By means of the edge profile 100, the edge of the fire cartridge structure 1 is obtained straight. The first limiter projection 130 transfers a seam between the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100 and the first planar surface 12 of the first fire-re- sistant plate 10 away from the outer surface of the edge of the fire cartridge struc- ture 1. Thus, the outer surface of the edge of the fire cartridge structure 1 includes a uniform fourth planar surface 1001) of the profile 100. In this way, seen from the outer surface of the edge of the fire cartridge structure 1, the seam between the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100 and the first planar surface 12 of the first fire-resistant plate 10 is concealed. Hence, the seam in question is not suscep- tible to external conditions, and the fire cartridge structure endures environmental impacts extremely well. The gap between the end edge 16 of the first fire-resistant plate 10 and the limiter projection 130 may thus be sealed with the adhesive 32. Furthermore, it is possible to install the gap in question e.g. against the carriage wall, whereby not so much environmental impacts are applied to it. On the other hand, if preferred, the seam between the second fire-resistant plate 20 and the pro- file 100 may also be installed e.g. against the carriage wall. All in all, the fire car- tridge structure 1 may be reasonably easily formed of uniform thickness by means of the edge profile 100 provided with the limiter projection 130.
[0040] In addition, the limiter projection 130 aligns and places the fire-re- sistant plate 10 into connection with the profile 100. The profile 100 may then rea- sonably easily and simply be placed in relation to the first fire-resistant plate 10 utilizing the limiter projection 130 limiting the first fire-resistant plate 10.
[0041] Correspondingly, the profile 100 of the figures comprises a limiter pro- jection 140 (in other words a second limiter projection 140) for limiting the loca- tion of the second fire-resistant plate 20, towards which limiter projection 140 the end edge 26 of the second fire-resistant plate 20 is arranged. In other words, the profile 100 comprises a limiter projection 140 limiting the second fire-resistant plate 20. The limiter projection 140 is located in the corner of the profile 100. The limiter pro jection 140 extends over the second planar surface 100B of the profile 100. The limiter projection 140 and the second adhesive grooves 120 are located on the opposite sides in relation to the second planar surface 100B of the profile 100. The limiter projection 140 operates as a seal groove for an attachment with play such that the gap between the end edge 26 of the second fire-resistant plate 20 and the limiter projection 130 is configured to receive a finishing adhesive 32, or in other words, said gap is configured to be sealed with the finishing adhesive 32. The presented solution is constructionally durable and simple to assemble by means of adhesive. The forming of said structure by welding would be extremely challenging.
[0042] When the profile 100 comprises both the limiter projection 130 limiting the first fire-resistant plate 10 and the limiter projection 140 limiting the second fire-resistant plate 20, both the seam between the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100 and the first planar surface 12 of the first fire-resistant plate 10 and the seam between the second planar surface 100B of the profile 100 and the first pla- nar surface 22 of the second fire-resistant plate 20 are efficiently protected against environmental impacts. Furthermore, the fire cartridge structure 1 is then ex- tremely easily formed of uniform thickness.
[0043] The fire cartridge structure 1 of the figures comprises a finishing adhe- sive 32 arranged between the end edge 16 of the first fire-resistant plate 10 and the limiter projection 130 of the profile 100 abutting to it. The finishing adhesive 32 is elastic constructional glue. The elastic constructional glue is configured to yield between the profile 100 and the fire-resistant plate abutting it. The elastic constructional glue comprises e.g. one-component polyurethanes or silane-modi- fied polymers as its material. The elastic constructional glue enables the appropri- ate operation of the fire cartridge structure in the operating temperature range which may be e.g. -50°C...+80°C.
[0044] Correspondingly, the fire cartridge structure 1 of the figures comprises the finishing adhesive 32 arranged between the end edge 26 of the second fire- resistant plate 20 and the limiter projection 140 of the profile 100 abutting to it, The finishing adhesive 32 is elastic constructional glue. The elastic constructional glue is configured to yield between the profile 100 and the fire-resistant plate abut- ting it. The elastic constructional glue comprises e.g. one-component polyure- thanes or silane-modified polymers as its material. The elastic constructional glue enables the appropriate operation of the fire cartridge structure in the operating temperature range which may be e.g. -50°C...+80°C.
[0045] The limiter projection 130 limiting the first fire-resistant plate 10 of the profile 100 comprises a bevel for the finishing adhesive 32, whereby the finishing adhesive 32 may be spread into a wide area for finishing the seal between the pro- file 100 and the first fire-resistant plate 10.
[0046] Correspondingly, the limiter projection 140 limiting the second fire-re- sistant plate 20 of the profile 100 comprises a bevel for the finishing adhesive 32, whereby the finishing adhesive 32 may be spread into a wide area for finishing the seal between the profile 100 and the second fire-resistant plate 20.
[0047] The fire cartridge structure 1 of the figures comprises attachment open- ings 160 for attaching the fire cartridge structure 1 to the other structure, which attachment openings 160 extend through the first fire-resistant plate 10, the sec- ond fire-resistant plate 20 and the profile 100. The attachment opening 160 may be drilled through the profile 100 before the assembly of the fire cartridge structure 1 or in its assembly step. Figure 1 shows the attachment opening 160, wherein the outer edges of the attachment opening 160 are designated by dashed lines for clarity.
[0048] The attachment openings 160 in the profile 100 of the fire cartridge structure 1 of the figures are arranged through the first planar surface 100A and the second planar surface 100B of the profile. The attachment openings 160 are located on the first planar surface 100A in an area between the two first adhesive grooves 110. Correspondingly, the attachment openings 160 are located on the sec- ond planar surface 100B in an area between the two second adhesive grooves 120. Said adhesive grooves 110, 120 prevent leaks possibly coming through the attach- ment opening 160, such as water finding its way between the adhesive grooves into the other inner structures of the fire cartridge structure.
[0049] Furthermore, the attachment opening 160 in the profile 100 comprises two widths, 'wherein the width of the attachment opening 160 is greater in the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100 than in the second planar surface 100B of the profile 100. The above enables locating the base of the attachment element 400 inside the profile 100 via the first planar surface 100A of the profile.
[0050] In the first fire-resistant plate 10 of the fire cartridge structure 1 of the figures, the attachment openings 160 are arranged through the first planar surface 12 and the second planar surface 14 of the first fire-resistant plate 10. The attach- ment opening 160 arranged to the first fire-resistant plate in aligned with the cor- responding attachment opening 160 in the profile 100.
[0051] Correspondingly, in the second fire-resistant plate 20 of the fire car- tridge structure 1 of the figures, the attachment openings 160 are arranged through the first planar surface 22 and the second planar surface 24 of the second fire-re- sistant plate 20. The attachment opening 160 arranged to the second fire-resistant plate in aligned with the corresponding attachment opening 160 in the profile 100.
[0052] The fire cartridge structure 1 of the figures comprises an attachment element 400 arranged to the attachment opening 160 for attaching the fire car- tridge structure 1 to the other structure. The attachment element 400 may be e.g. a screw.
[0053] The profile 100 of the fire cartridge structure 1 of the figures comprises several lightening openings 150 but, for clarity, it should be mentioned that there may be one or more of the lightening openings 150. The profile 100 of the fire car- tridge structure 1 comprises at least one lightening opening 150 arranged in its longitudinal direction and located inside of it, in relation to which attachment openings 160 are at an angle. The lightening opening 150 arranged in the longitu- dinal direction of the profile enables the forming of the lightening opening 150 in the manufacturing step of the profile by extrusion. An advantage of the lightening opening 150 is that, for arranging the attachment opening, less material must be removed compared with a profile which is not provided with a lightening opening 150. Another advantage of the lightening opening 150 is e.g. the light structure of the profile 100 and, simultaneously, the durability of the profile.
[0054] The lightening opening 150 of the profile 100 of the figures comprises a planar surface 152 inside the profile 100, which is directed towards the first planar surface 100A of the profile. There is access to the planar surface 152 located inside the profile 100 via the attachment opening 160 arranged on the first planar surface 100A of the profile. The attachment element 400 may be supported against the pla- nar surface 152 located inside the profile. Onto the planar surface 152 located in- side the profile 100, it is possible to arrange threaded inserts, pressed nut, ma- chined threads or some other fasteners. Said planar surface 152 is located at a dis- tance from the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100 such that it is possible for an attachment element 400 or some other fastener to be located in an area be- tween the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100 and the planar surface 152 of the attachment element 400.
[0055] According to a first example, the fire cartridge structure 1 is assembled in the following way. The adhesive 30 is added to the adhesive grooves (i.e. the first adhesive grooves 110 and the second adhesive grooves 120) of the profile 100, the first fire-resistant plate 10 and / or the second fire-resistant plate 20. The profile 100, the first fire-resistant plate 10 and the second fire-resistant plate 20 are placed in relation to each other. The first fire-resistant plate 10 is arranged against the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100. The second fire-resistant plate 20 is arranged against the second planar surface 100B of the profile 100. The profile 100 is placed in relation to the first fire-resistant plate 10 by utilizing the limiter projection 130 Iimiting the first fire-resistant plate 10, which limiter projection 130 extends over the first planar surface 100A of the profile 100. The first fire-resistant plate 10 and the second fire-resistant plate 20 are pressed against the profile 100 for forming an adhesive attachment. The placement may also be implemented by aligning the attachment openings 160 arranged through the profile 100, the first fire-resistant plate 10 and the second fire-resistant plate 20 inline in relation to each other. The area between the end edge 16 of the first fire-resistant plate 10 and the profile 100 is sealed by the finishing adhesive 32, or in more detail, the area between the end edge 16 of the first fire-resistant plate 10 and the limiter projection 130 of the profile 100 is sealed by the finishing adhesive 32, The area between the end edge 26 of the second fire-resistant plate 20 and the profile 100 is sealed by the finishing adhesive 32, or in more detail, the area between the end edge 26 of the second fire-resistant plate 20 and the limiter projection 140 of the profile 100 is sealed by the finishing adhesive 32.
[0056] According to a second example, the fire cartridge structure 1 is assem- bled in the following way. The surfaces to be attached of the profiles 100, the first fire-resistant plate 10 and the second fire-resistant plate 20 are prepared. In the preparation, the surfaces to be attached are cleaned. In the preparation, the sur- faces to be attached are treated by an adhesive primer for improving the bond of the adhesive. The first fire-resistant plate 10 and the second fire-resistant plate 20 are placed in a gluing jig which includes place marking for the accurate location of the fire-resistant plates. The adhesive 30 is added to the second fire-resistant plate 20 and / or the second adhesive grooves 120 of the profile 100. The adhesive is dosed e.g. as a seal of triangular shape. The profiles 100 are placed against the sec- ond fire-resistant plate 20, or in more detail, the profiles are placed against the first planar surface 22 of the fire-resistant plate 20. The profiles are placed to the second fire-resistant plate by means of the attachment openings 160 located in the profile and the fire-resistant plate, wherein said attachment openings are aligned in rela- tion to each other. The adhesive is added to the first fire-resistant plate and / or the first adhesive grooves 110 of the profile. The first fire-resistant plate is placed against the profiles, or in more detail, the first planar surface 12 of the first fire- resistant plate 10 is placed against the profiles. The profiles, the first fire-resistant plate 10 and the second fire-resistant plate 20 are pressed in relation to each other. Through the adherence openings, or in other words placement openings, located in the profiles, the first fire-resistant plate and the second fire-resistant plate, it is possible to arrange support sleeves for forming a support for the duration of the dry ing of the adhesive. The adhesive is let to dry, The support sleeves are removed. The fire cartridge structure 1 is lifted out of the gluing jig.
