Abstract
Description
[0001] FASTENING ELEMENT FOR RAISED FLOORS AND FASTENING SYSTEM COMPRISING SAID FASTENING ELEMENT
[0002] Specification
[0003] The present invention refers to a fastening element for raised floors and to a fastening system comprising said fastening element.
[0004] More particularly, it relates to a fastening element and to a related fastening system, for raised floors, suitable for firmly fixing raised floors to a support surface.
[0005] As is well known, for the construction of raised floors, adjustable supports are spread evenly over a base plane on which longitudinal joists are laid to support the tiles used to make the raised floor.
[0006] In the case where such raised paving is realised in the open air on attics or terraces on the upper floors of buildings, the wind may create a depression on the paving which tends to lift the tiles with consequent rather serious risks and dangers.
[0007] It is an object of the present invention to provide a fastening element for raised floors and a fastening system comprising said fastening element which overcomes the problems of the known technique.
[0008] A further scope of the invention is to provide a fastening element for raised pavements and a fastening system comprising said fastening element, which provide high bonding stability of the raised pavement.
[0009] A further scope of the invention is to provide a fastening element for raised floors and a fastening system comprising said fastening element, which prevent unintentional and undesirable lifting of the tiles forming the raised floor.
[0010] These and other purposes are achieved by a fastening element for raised floors and a fastening system comprising said fastening element, according to the appended claims. Further features and details can be better understood from the following description, given as a non-limiting example, as well as from the attached drawing tables, wherein
[0011] - fig. 1 is an axonometric view of a fastening system comprising a fastening element according to the invention;
[0012] - fig. 2 is an axonometric view from below of the fastening system of figure 1 ;
[0013] - figs. 3 to 8 are axonometric views from above of the fastening system of figure
[0014] 1 being assembled.
[0015] With reference to the attached figures, 50 identifies a fastening system for raised floors comprising:
[0016] - a fastening element 10
[0017] - a joist 12, visible in figures 3 to 8;
[0018] - a screw 14;
[0019] - a washer 16;
[0020] - a nut 18.
[0021] In particular, the fastening element 10 comprises a plate 20 from which rise upwards a first vertical body 22, a second vertical body 24, a third vertical body 26 and a fourth vertical body 28, arranged perpendicularly two by two to each other.
[0022] From the plate 20 protrude downwards:
[0023] - a cylindrical body 30 in which the nut 18 is housed;
[0024] - a first stem 32 terminating with a first foot 34, perpendicular to the first stem 32;
[0025] - a second stem 36 terminating with a second foot 38, perpendicular to the second stem 36.
[0026] The first foot 34 and the second foot 38 face each other. From plate 20, coplanar development:
[0027] - a first arm 40 with a first notch 42 facing downwards;
[0028] - a second arm 44 with a second notch 46 facing downwards.
[0029] The joist 12, which may be attached to S-brackets, visible in figure 8, comprises a centre rail 48 and two side rails 50.
[0030] As illustrated in Figures 3 to 8, the fastening system 100 enables the stable installation of a raised floor.
[0031] The installation of the fastening system 100 requires that the fastening element 10 is, first, constrained to the joist 12.
[0032] In particular, as illustrated in figure 4, the fastening element 10 is supported on the joist 12 so that the cylindrical body 30 is received in the central rail 48.
[0033] The fastening element 10 is then rotated clockwise so that the first arm 40 and the second arm 44 are slightly flexed and then the first notch 42 and the second notch 46 are accommodated in the respective side rail 50, as illustrated in figure 5.
[0034] In this way, a counterclockwise rotation of the fastening element 10 is prevented.
[0035] At the same time, the first foot 34 is brought inferiorly to the first side rail 50 and the second foot 38 is brought inferiorly to the second side rail 50.
[0036] In this way, the lifting of the fastening element 10 and its separation from the joist 12 is prevented.
[0037] Subsequently, four tiles P are arranged on the fastening element 10, as illustrated in figure 6, so that the first vertical body 22, the second vertical body 24, the third vertical body 26 and the fourth vertical body 28 separate the same four tiles
[0038] P by an equal distance.
[0039] In order to bind the tiles P to the support bottom in a stable manner, preventing any lifting of the same tiles P, the washer 16 is arranged at the intersection of the four tiles P and is crossed by the screw 14 screwed into the nut 18, as illustrated in figures 7 and 8.
[0040] In this way, the washer 16, once positioned at the head of the screw 14, keeps the P tiles lowered and constrained to the fastening element 10.
[0041] In this way, the fastening system 100 creates a lattice that connects all the tiles P together, increasing the overall weight of the floor and preventing the floor from lifting.
[0042] Fixing system 100 offers greater resistance to the depressing effect that wind creates on floors installed on penthouses or terraces on high floors.
[0043] Variants and construction methods other than those illustrated above are possible and are to be considered within the scope of protection defined by the attached claims.
