[0054] Display devices 3h and 3i are display devices in mobile terminals. Here, display device 3h is a display device in a mobile terminal of person 100a sitting in seat 2a, and display device 3i is a display device in a mobile terminal of person 100b sitting in seat 2b. For example, the mobile terminals are smartphones, tablet terminals, etc.
[0055] Fig. 2 is a block diagram showing the functional configuration of the display control device 10 in Fig. 1. Next, the functional configuration of the display control device 10 will be described with reference to Fig. 2.
[0056] 2, the display control device 10 includes a first display control unit 20 and a second display control unit 40. For example, the display control device 10 is realized by a CPU (Central Processing Unit), memory, storage, a communication interface, and a SoC (System on Chip). The display control device 10 can communicate with display devices 3h, 3i, etc. via the communication interface. The display control device 10 can also control the display devices 3a to 3g via the SoC.
[0057] The first display control unit 20 has a third operation detection unit 21, a setting reception unit 22, a setting determination unit 23, a type determination unit 24, an image number determination unit 25, an operation reception determination unit 26, a driving state acquisition unit 27, an operation content determination unit 28, an operation content notification unit 29, a first operation assistance unit 30, a second operation reception unit 31, and an image information transmission unit 32.
[0058] The third operation detection unit 21 detects a third operation. The third operation is an operation that triggers the start of acceptance of the first operation. In other words, when the third operation is performed, acceptance of the first operation is started. The first operation is an operation of selecting a second display device from among the multiple display devices 3a-3i in order to output and display a target image, which is an image displayed on a first display device among the multiple display devices 3a-3i, on a second display device different from the first display device. For example, when the third operation is performed, information indicating that the third operation has been performed is transmitted to the third operation detection unit 21, and the third operation detection unit 21 detects the third operation by acquiring the information.
[0059] The third operation can be performed using each of the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i, and when the third operation is performed using that display device, each of the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i transmits information indicating that the third operation has been performed to the third operation detection unit 21. The third operation is performed by a person 100a to 100d, etc. In this embodiment, the display device among the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i on which the third operation has been performed becomes the first display device, and acceptance of the first operation is started using the first display device.
[0060] For example, the third operation is an operation of pressing and holding or tapping the display surface with one or more fingers. The third operation is also an operation of tapping the display surface an arbitrary number of times in a relatively short period of time. The third operation is also an operation of pressing and holding or tapping a specific area of a displayed image. The third operation is also an operation of pressing and holding the display surface and then moving a finger to draw a shape such as a circle or a triangle on the display surface. The content of the third operation may be arbitrarily set or may be set in advance. Furthermore, whether the target image is copied, moved, or mirrored to the second display device may be determined depending on the number of fingers performing the third operation, etc.
[0061] The setting acceptance unit 22 accepts a setting to prohibit a first operation using at least one of the multiple display devices 3a to 3i. For example, a button or the like for setting to prohibit a first operation using the display device 3b corresponding to seat 2b is arranged on the vehicle 1, and the setting acceptance unit 22 accepts a setting to prohibit the first operation using the display device 3b using the button. The setting acceptance unit 22 sets the setting to prohibit the first operation using the display device 3b while the button is pressed, and cancels the setting when the button is not pressed. Note that the setting acceptance unit 22 may set the setting to prohibit the first operation using the display device 3b when the button is pressed, and cancel the setting when the button is pressed again. Furthermore, the setting acceptance unit 22 may be capable of displaying a setting screen on each of the multiple display devices 3a to 3i for accepting a setting to prohibit a first operation using the display device for each of the multiple display devices 3a to 3i, and may accept the setting by displaying the setting screen.
[0062] The setting determination unit 23 determines whether or not a setting is made for the first display device to prohibit the first operation using the first display device.
[0063] When outputting a target image to a second display device selected by a first operation, the type determination unit 24 determines whether to output the target image by moving, copying, or mirroring. For example, the type determination unit 24 determines whether to output the target image based on a third operation. Specifically, the type determination unit 24 determines whether to output the target image based on the content of the third operation (e.g., the number of fingers performing the third operation). Note that the type of output of the target image may be predetermined or may be selectable by an operation different from the third operation. When moving the target image to the second display device, the target image displayed on the first display device is displayed on the second display device, and the target image is no longer displayed on the first display device. When copying the target image to the second display device, the target image displayed on the first display device is also displayed on the second display device, and the target image can be used for operations, etc., independently on the first display device and the second display device. When a target image is mirrored on a second display device, the target image displayed on the first display device is also displayed on the second display device, and when an operation is performed using the target image on the first display device, the same operation is also performed on the second display device using the target image.
[0064] The image number determination unit 25 determines the number of target images that are images displayed on the first display device. As described above, the target images are, for example, images of an application.
[0065] The accepted operation determination unit 26 determines whether to accept both the first operation and the second operation or only the first operation based on the number of target images. Specifically, the accepted operation determination unit 26 determines that both the first operation and the second operation are accepted when a plurality of target images are displayed on the first display device, and determines that only the first operation of the first and second operations is accepted when a single target image is displayed on the first display device instead of a plurality of target images.
[0066] The running state acquisition unit 27 acquires the running state of the vehicle 1. For example, the running state can be obtained from a group of sensors attached to the vehicle 1, an occupant monitoring system provided in the vehicle 1, a navigation system provided in the vehicle 1, etc. For example, the group of sensors includes a vibration sensor, an acceleration sensor, etc.
[0067] The operation content determination unit 28 is an example of a determination unit that determines the content of the first operation based on the driving state of the vehicle 1. Specifically, the operation content determination unit 28 determines whether the first operation is to be performed using a swipe, a flick, a drag, a tap, or a voice, based on the driving state of the vehicle 1. For example, when the vibration of the vehicle 1 is greater than or equal to a predetermined magnitude, the operation content determination unit 28 determines the content of the first operation to select the second display device by tapping. Furthermore, when the vehicle 1 is stopped, the operation content determination unit 28 determines the content of the first operation to select the second display device with preset content. Furthermore, when the steering wheel is repeatedly turned left by more than a predetermined angle and right by more than a predetermined angle, the operation content determination unit 28 determines the content of the first operation to select the second display device by tapping. Furthermore, the operation content determination unit 28 determines the content of the first operation to select the second display device by tapping when a state in which the acceleration to the left in the left-right direction of the vehicle 1 is equal to or greater than a predetermined value and a state in which the acceleration to the right in the left-right direction of the vehicle 1 is equal to or greater than a predetermined value are alternately repeated. Furthermore, the operation content determination unit 28 determines the content of the first operation to select the second display device by voice when the person 100a (driver) sitting in the seat 2a is looking sideways. Furthermore, the operation content determination unit 28 determines the content of the first operation to select the second display device by voice within a predetermined range including a left turn point and a predetermined range including a right turn point on the driving route of the vehicle 1. Note that the content of the first operation may be determined in advance or may be determined based on the content of the third operation.
[0068] The operation content notifying unit 29 notifies the content of the first operation determined by the operation content determining unit 28. For example, the operation content notifying unit 29 notifies the content of the first operation by displaying the content of the first operation on the first display device. Note that the operation content notifying unit 29 may notify the content of the first operation by sounding it.
[0069] The first operation support unit 30 supports a first operation of selecting a second display device from among the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i in order to output and display a target image, which is an image displayed on a first display device among the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i, each capable of displaying an image, on a second display device different from the first display device.
[0070] When there are multiple target images, the second operation accepting unit 31 accepts a second operation to select one or more target images to be output to and displayed on the second display device from among the multiple target images.
[0071] When each of the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i is a first display device, the first operation and the second operation can be performed using the display device. The first operation and the second operation are performed by people 100a to 100d, etc.
[0072] For example, the first operation support unit 30 supports the first operation by causing the first display device to display an object representing the first display device, one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the first display device among the multiple display devices 3 a to 3 i, and guide lines extending from the object representing the first display device to each of the one or more objects representing the one or more display devices. In this case, the first operation is an operation of selecting the second display device by swiping along the guide line extending from the object representing the first display device to an object representing the second display device among the one or more objects representing the one or more display devices.
[0073] In this case, the second operation accepting unit 31 accepts a second operation of selecting one or more target images from the plurality of target images to be output to and displayed on the second display device by displaying a plurality of target images on the first display device together with an object representing the first display device, one or more objects representing the one or more display devices, and guide lines extending from the object representing the first display device to each of the one or more objects. Furthermore, the second operation accepting unit 31 accepts a second operation of selecting one or more target images from the plurality of target images to be output to and displayed on the second display device by displaying the plurality of target images on the first display device before the object representing the first display device, etc. is displayed. In this case, the second operation is an operation of selecting one or more target images by tapping or swiping one or more target images.
[0074] In the following description, one or more objects indicating one or more display devices other than the first display device among the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i may be simply referred to as one or more objects.
[0075] For example, the first operation support unit 30 supports the first operation by displaying, on the first display device, an interface including a central region and one or more regions arranged around the central region and each region having one or more objects arranged therein. In this case, the first operation is an operation of selecting the second display device by flicking from the central region toward the region in which an object representing the second display device is arranged among the one or more objects.
[0076] In this case, the second operation accepting unit 31 accepts a second operation of selecting one or more target images from the plurality of target images to be output and displayed on the second display device by displaying the plurality of target images on the first display device together with an interface including a central region and one or more regions. Furthermore, before the interface is displayed, the second operation accepting unit 31 accepts a second operation of selecting one or more target images from the plurality of target images to be output and displayed on the second display device by displaying the plurality of target images on the first display device. In this case, the second operation is an operation of selecting one or more target images by tapping or swiping one or more target images.
[0077] For example, the first operation support unit 30 supports the first operation by displaying, on the first display device, one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the first display device among the plurality of display devices 3 a to 3 i, and an object representing the target image. In this case, the first operation is an operation of selecting the second display device by dragging the object representing the target image to an object representing the second display device among the one or more objects and dropping it thereon.
[0078] In this case, the second operation accepting unit 31 accepts a second operation of selecting one or more target images to be output to and displayed on the second display device from the plurality of target images by displaying the plurality of target images on the first display device together with one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the first display device and an object representing the target image. In this case, the second operation is an operation of selecting one or more target images by dragging the object representing the target image and moving it over one or more target images.
[0079] Furthermore, the second operation accepting unit 31 accepts a second operation of selecting one or more target images to be output to and displayed on the second display device from the plurality of target images by displaying the plurality of target images on the first display device before one or more objects, etc., indicating one or more display devices other than the first display device are displayed. In this case, the second operation is an operation of selecting one or more target images by tapping or swiping one or more target images.
[0080] For example, the first operation support unit 30 supports the first operation by displaying, on the first display device, one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the first display device among the plurality of display devices 3 a to 3 i. In this case, the first operation is an operation of selecting the second display device by tapping an object representing the second display device from among one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the first display device.
[0081] In this case, the second operation accepting unit 31 accepts a second operation of selecting one or more target images from the plurality of target images to be output to and displayed on the second display device by displaying the plurality of target images on the first display device together with one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the first display device. The second operation accepting unit 31 also accepts a second operation of selecting one or more target images from the plurality of target images to be output to and displayed on the second display device by displaying the plurality of target images on the first display device before the one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the first display device are displayed. In this case, the second operation is an operation of selecting one or more target images by tapping or swiping one or more target images.
[0082] For example, the first operation support unit 30 supports the first operation by causing the first display device to display one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the first display device among the plurality of display devices 3 a to 3 i, and device names that are the names of the display devices represented by each of the one or more objects representing the one or more display devices other than the first display device. In this case, the first operation is an operation of selecting the second display device by pronouncing the device name representing the second display device from among the one or more device names.
[0083] In this case, the second operation accepting unit 31 accepts a second operation for selecting one or more target images to be output to the second display device and displayed by having the first display device display one or more objects indicating multiple target images and image names representing the target images represented by each of the multiple objects, along with one or more objects and one or more device names representing one or more display devices other than the first display device. Furthermore, the second operation accepting unit 31 accepts a second operation for selecting one or more target images to be output to the second display device and displayed by having the first display device display one or more objects indicating the multiple target images and image names representing the target images represented by each of the multiple objects, before the one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the first display device are displayed. In this case, the second operation is an operation for selecting one or more target images by pronouncing one or more image names representing one or more target images from the multiple image names.
[0084] The image information transmitting section 32 transmits image information relating to one or more target images to be output to and displayed on the second display device.
[0085] The second display control unit 40 is an example of a control unit that outputs and displays the target image on the second display device selected by the first operation. The second display control unit 40 includes an image information receiving unit 41, an image drawing unit 42, and an image output unit 43.
[0086] The image information receiving unit 41 receives the image information transmitted by the image information transmitting unit 32 .
[0087] The image drawing unit 42 draws one or more target images based on the image information received by the image information receiving unit 41 .
[0088] The image output unit 43 outputs the one or more target images drawn by the image drawing unit 42 to the second display device for display.
[0089] 3 is a schematic diagram showing an example of the control device 4 that controls the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i. Next, an example of the control device 4 that controls the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i will be described with reference to FIG.
[0090] 3A, each of the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i is provided with a control device 4 that controls the display device. For example, in this case, each of the control devices 4 is provided with a first display control unit 20 and a second display control unit 40.
[0091] 3(b), image information is transmitted from image information transmitting unit 32 of first display control unit 20 in first control device 4, which is control device 4 that controls the first display device, to image information receiving unit 41 of second display control unit 40 in second control device 4, which is control device 4 that controls the second display device. As a result, the target image is displayed on the second display device.
[0092] 4 is a schematic diagram showing an example of another control device 5 that controls the multiple display devices 3a to 3i. Next, an example of another control device 5 that controls the multiple display devices 3a to 3i will be described with reference to FIG.
[0093] 4A, a control device 5 is provided that controls a plurality of display devices 3a to 3i. In this case, for example, the control device 5 is provided with a virtual machine that controls each of the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i. Each of the plurality of virtual machines is provided with a first display control unit 20 and a second display control unit 40.
[0094] 4(b), image information is transmitted from image information transmitting unit 32 of first display control unit 20 in the first virtual machine, which is the virtual machine controlling the first display device, to image information receiving unit 41 of second display control unit 40 in the second virtual machine, which is the virtual machine controlling the second display device. As a result, the target image is displayed on the second display device.
[0095] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the display control device 10 may include a first display control unit 20 and a second display control unit 40 corresponding to each of the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i.
[0096] Fig. 5 is a flowchart showing an example of a display control method by the display control device 10 in Fig. 1. Next, with reference to Fig. 5, an example of a display control method by the display control device 10 will be described.
[0097] As shown in FIG. 5, the third operation detector 21 determines whether or not a third operation has been detected (step S1).
[0098] When the third operation detection unit 21 has not detected the third operation (No in step S1), the third operation detection unit 21 again determines whether the third operation has been detected (step S1).
[0099] When the third operation is detected (Yes in step S1), the setting determination unit 23 determines whether or not the setting to prohibit the first operation is set (step S2). Here, the display device on which the third operation is performed among the plurality of display devices 3 a to 3 i becomes the first display device, and the setting determination unit 23 determines whether or not the setting to prohibit the first operation is set for the display device on which the third operation is performed among the plurality of display devices 3 a to 3 i.
[0100] If the first operation is set to be prohibited (Yes in step S2), the display control device 10 ends the process.
[0101] If the first operation is not prohibited (No in step S2), the type determination unit 24 determines the type of output (step S3). For example, the type determination unit 24 determines whether the target image is to be output as a move, copy, or mirror, based on the content of the third operation.
[0102] The image number determination unit 25 determines whether or not a plurality of target images are being displayed on the first display device (step S4). Here, the display device on which the third operation was performed among the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i is the first display device, and therefore the setting determination unit 23 determines whether or not a plurality of target images are being displayed on the display device on which the third operation was performed among the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i.
[0103] If multiple target images are displayed on the first display device (Yes in step S4), the operation content determination unit 28 determines the content of the first operation (step S5), the operation content notification unit 29 notifies the content of the first operation (step S6), the second operation acceptance unit 31 accepts the second operation (step S7), and the first operation assistance unit 30 assists the first operation (first operation assistance step) (step S8).
[0104] On the other hand, if multiple target images are not displayed on the first display device (No in step S4), the operation content determination unit 28 determines the content of the first operation (step S5), the operation content notification unit 29 notifies the content of the first operation (step S6), and the first operation assistance unit 30 assists the first operation (first operation assistance step) (step S8).
[0105] The second display control unit 40 outputs and displays one or more target images on the second display device determined by the first operation (control step) (step S9).
[0106] In addition, after the third operation is detected (after step S1), if an operation is performed to stop outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device, the processing from step S2 onwards is stopped.
[0107] 6 to 9 are explanatory diagrams for explaining first to fourth operation examples of the display control device 10 in Fig. 1. Next, the first to fourth operation examples of the display control device 10 will be described with reference to Figs. 6 to 9.
[0108] First, a first operation example will be described with reference to Fig. 6. (a) to (c) of Fig. 6 show the first display device, and (d) of Fig. 6 shows the first display device and the second display device, etc.
[0109] As shown in (a) of Fig. 6, an image 60 is displayed on the display device 3b. When the third operation is performed on the display device 3b, the first operation support unit 30 displays, on the display device 3b, an object 50b representing the display device 3b among the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i, one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the display device 3b, and guide lines 51 extending from the object 50b to each of the one or more objects, as shown in (b) of Fig. 6, thereby supporting the first operation.
[0110] For example, the first operation support unit 30 may display an object 50b at a location on the display device 3b where the finger that performed the third operation is touching or at any other location. The first operation support unit 30 may also arrange the object 50b representing the display device 3b and one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the display device 3b in accordance with the actual relative positions of the display device 3b and the one or more display devices other than the display device 3b. If the objects overlap, they are displayed offset to prevent overlapping. If the one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the display device 3b are multiple objects, the first operation support unit 30 may arrange the one or more objects radially around the object 50b representing the display device 3b. The first operation support unit 30 may also arrange the object 50b representing the display device 3b and one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the display device 3b in a single or multiple rows. In addition, each of object 50b representing display device 3b and one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than display device 3b may be accompanied by the name of the display device, the identification code of the display device, and / or the location of the display device, etc., so that the display device represented by the object can be identified.
[0111] Among the object 50b representing the display device 3b and one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the display device 3b, the objects representing display devices of the same type have the same shape, while the objects representing display devices of different types have different shapes. Specifically, among the object 50b representing the display device 3b and one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the display device 3b, the objects representing the display devices 3a-3g arranged in the vehicle 1 are rectangular display icons and have the same shape. Furthermore, among the object 50b representing the display device 3b and one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than the display device 3b, the objects representing the display devices 3h and 3i carried by the passengers 100a and 100b in the vehicle 1 are smartphone icons and have the same shape. The objects representing the display devices 3a-3g and the objects representing the display devices 3h and 3i have different shapes.
[0112] The operation content notifying unit 29 notifies the user of the content of the first operation by displaying a message 52 indicating the content of the first operation on the display device 3b.
[0113] It should be noted that a thick line or the like may be displayed around the periphery of the image 60 to indicate that the image 60 is to be output to the second display device.
[0114] As shown in Fig. 6(c), display device 3d is selected as the second display device by swiping along guide line 51 from object 50b representing display device 3b toward object 50d representing display device 3d. As a result, image 60 displayed on display device 3b is output and displayed on display device 3d, as shown in Fig. 6(d).
[0115] The swiping finger may be released midway along the guide line 51. Also, if the swiping finger is returned to the object 50b midway along the guide line 51 and then released, the processing may be stopped and the state may return to the state shown in FIG.
[0116] Next, a second operation example will be described with reference to Fig. 7. (a) to (c) of Fig. 7 show the first display device, and (d) of Fig. 7 shows the first display device and the second display device, etc. The second operation example differs from the first operation example mainly in the following points.
[0117] As shown in Fig. 7(a) , display device 3b displays a plurality of images 60 and 70. When the third operation is performed on display device 3b, first operation support unit 30 displays, on display device 3b, an object 50b representing display device 3b among the plurality of display devices 3a to 3i, one or more objects representing one or more display devices other than display device 3b, and guide lines 51 extending from object 50b to each of the one or more objects, as shown in Fig. 7(b) , thereby supporting the first operation.
[0118] Furthermore, the second operation receiving unit 31 displays the plurality of images 60, 70 on the display device 3b and receives the second operation. Here, the plurality of images 60, 70 are displayed relatively lightly compared to the object 50b, etc. For example, the second operation is performed with a finger different from the finger that swipes. A thick line is displayed around the periphery of the image selected by the second operation, indicating that it has been selected as the image to be output to the second display device.
[0119] As shown in (c) of Fig. 7, the image 60, 70 to be output is selected from the multiple images 60, 70 by tapping or swiping, and then the display device 3d is selected as the second display device by swiping along the guide line 51 from the object 50b representing the display device 3b toward the object 50d representing the display device 3d. As a result, the images 60, 70 displayed on the display device 3b are output and displayed on the display device 3d, as shown in (d) of Fig. 7. Note that the selection can be canceled by tapping or swiping the selected image 60, 70 again.
[0120] Next, a third operation example will be described with reference to Fig. 8. (a) to (c) of Fig. 8 show the first display device, and (d) of Fig. 8 shows the first display device and the second display device, etc. The third operation example differs from the first operation example mainly in the following points.
[0121] As shown in (a) of FIG. 8 , a button for accepting a third operation is displayed on the display device 3b. The third operation is performed by touching or pressing and holding the button. A button for accepting the third operation may be provided for each type of operation, such as moving, copying, and mirroring. The position at which the button for accepting the third operation is displayed may be fixed or may vary depending on the position of the first display device. For example, if the first display device is a display device located to the right of the center in the left-right direction of the vehicle 1, the button may be displayed to the right of the center of the first display device. If the first display device is a display device located to the left of the center in the left-right direction of the vehicle 1, the button may be displayed to the left of the center of the first display device.
[0122] Next, a fourth operation example will be described with reference to Fig. 9. (a) to (c) of Fig. 9 show the first display device, and (d) of Fig. 9 shows the first display device and the second display device, etc. The fourth operation example differs from the second operation example mainly in the following points.
[0123] 9A, a button for accepting the third operation is displayed on the display device 3b. The third operation is performed by touching or pressing and holding the button.
[0124] 9(b), when the third operation is performed, the second operation receiving unit 31 receives the second operation by displaying a plurality of images 60, 70. Here, the second operation is received before the object 50b and the like are displayed. After an image to be output to the second display device is selected from the plurality of images 60, 70 by tapping or swiping, the second operation ends when the icon 53 is tapped.
[0125] As shown in (c) of FIG. 9, when the icon 53 is tapped, the first operation support unit 30 displays an object 50b or the like to support the first operation.
[0126] 10 is a schematic diagram showing another example of assistance for the first operation in the first to fourth operation examples. Next, with reference to FIG. 10 , another example of assistance for the first operation in the first to fourth operation examples will be described.
[0127] As shown in FIG. 10, in addition to the guide lines 51, an icon 54 or the like that prompts the user to swipe may be displayed.
[0128] 11 and 12 are explanatory diagrams for explaining fifth and sixth operation examples of the display control device 10 in Fig. 1. Next, the fifth and sixth operation examples of the display control device 10 will be described with reference to Figs. 11 to 12.
