Description

Chemical Dosing System

[0001] The present invention relates to a drug solution administration system for administering a drug solution to a living body.

[0002] The portable drug solution administration system includes a drug solution administration device and a holder for mounting the drug solution administration device. When using the drug solution administration system, the user first fixes the holder to the patient's body by attaching it. Next, the user protrudes the tip of the cannula from the holder and places it on the patient's body, and then mounts the drug solution administration device on the holder. After that, the drug solution in the reservoir that constitutes the drug solution administration device is discharged outside the reservoir. The drug solution discharged from the reservoir is administered into the patient's body via the cannula.

[0003] In Japanese Patent Publication No. 6710056, the holder has a protrusion extending along the axial direction of the holder and a through-hole. Meanwhile, the liquid medicine administration device has a groove and a hook. When the liquid medicine administration device is moved along the axial direction of the holder to attach it to the holder, the protrusion elastically deforms in the width direction of the liquid medicine administration device and engages with the groove, thereby guiding the liquid medicine administration device. When the hook engages with the through-hole, the liquid medicine administration device stops, and attachment of the liquid medicine administration device to the holder is completed.

[0004] Patent No. 6710056

[0005] If a liquid medicine administration system is large, the patient to whom the liquid medicine administration system is fixed feels that the system is in the way, and therefore there is a demand for a smaller liquid medicine administration system.

[0006] The present invention aims to solve the above-mentioned problems.

[0007] (1) An aspect of the present invention is a drug solution administration system comprising a drug solution administration device having a reservoir filled with a drug solution, and a holder to which the drug solution administration device is detachably attached, and a cannula to be inserted into a living body is provided in the holder.

[0008] The drug solution administration device includes a casing that houses the reservoir, a locking member supported by the casing for positioning and fixing the drug solution administration device to the holder, and an elastic body that biases the locking member. The casing has a device-side base portion that faces the living body via the holder when the drug solution administration device is attached to the holder. The locking member has an engaging protrusion that extends toward the holder.

[0009] The holder has a holder-side base portion that holds the cannula and an engaging portion with which the engaging protrusion is releasably engaged. The holder-side base portion has a first outer surface that faces the living body when the holder is fixed to the living body and a first inner surface that is the back side of the first outer surface and faces the device-side base portion. The device-side base portion has a second outer surface that faces the first inner surface when the drug solution administration device is attached to the holder and a second inner surface that is the back side of the second outer surface and faces the interior of the casing.

[0010] The direction in which the second outer surface moves relatively along the first inner surface when the medical solution administration device is attached to the holder is defined as the attachment direction. The direction opposite to the attachment direction, in which the second outer surface moves relatively along the first inner surface when the medical solution administration device is detached from the holder, is defined as the detachment direction. The direction along the attachment direction and the detachment direction is defined as the device movement direction. Furthermore, the direction perpendicular to the device movement direction, in which the second inner surface and the first outer surface face each other, is defined as the thickness direction. One direction in the thickness direction, which is the direction from the second inner surface toward the first outer surface, is defined as the engagement direction. The other direction in the thickness direction, which is the opposite to the engagement direction, is defined as the disengagement direction.

[0011] In the above-described configuration, the locking member is supported by the casing so as to be movable in the engagement direction and the disengagement direction, and the elastic body biases the locking member in the engagement direction when the engagement protrusion is engaged with the engagement portion.

[0012] The movement direction of the locking member is restricted to the engagement and disengagement directions (thickness direction of the casing). That is, the locking member is prevented from moving in a direction perpendicular to the device movement direction and perpendicular to the engagement and disengagement directions (width direction of the casing). This prevents the casing from becoming larger in the width direction. This allows the drug solution administration device to be made smaller.

[0013] Furthermore, the locking member is biased in the engagement direction by the elastic body, preventing the engaging protrusion from coming off the engaging portion. Therefore, even if a user of the drug solution dispensing system unintentionally touches the casing, the drug solution dispensing device remains positioned and fixed in the holder. In other words, even if a force acting in a direction that would cause the drug solution dispensing device to come off the holder is applied to the casing due to an unexpected event, the drug solution dispensing device is prevented from coming off the holder.

[0014] (2) In the medicinal solution administration system described in the above item (1), the holder may have a holder-side guide portion that guides the engaging protrusion, which moves relatively along the attachment direction, to the engaging portion when the medicinal solution administration device is attached to the holder. In this case, the holder-side guide portion may have an inclined surface that is inclined toward the disengagement direction as it approaches the engaging portion along the attachment direction.

[0015] When the engaging projection moves along the holder-side guide portion, the locking member moves relative to the casing in the disengagement direction, away from the holder. This compresses the elastic body. Therefore, when the engaging projection passes through the holder-side guide portion and reaches the engaging portion, the elastic body expands. This expansion urges the locking member toward the holder.

[0016] Therefore, when the engaging protrusion is to be released from the engaging portion, the elastic body must be compressed. In other words, the engaging protrusion continues to be prevented from coming off the engaging portion unless the elastic body is compressed. Therefore, the drug solution administration device is further prevented from coming off from the holder.

[0017] (3) In the drug solution administration system described in item (1) or (2) above, the casing may have a casing-side guide portion that guides the movement of the locking member in the engagement direction or the disengagement direction.

[0018] The casing-side guide portion further restricts the locking member from moving in directions other than the engaging direction and the disengaging direction, thereby further preventing the casing from becoming large in size along the width direction.

[0019] (4) In the drug solution administration system described in any one of items (1) to (3) above, the drug solution administration device may have an unlocking member that is movably arranged relative to the casing, and the locking member may move in the disengagement direction based on the movement of the unlocking member, thereby causing the engaging convex portion to disengage from the engaging portion.

[0020] The user can easily detach the medical solution administration device from the holder by operating the unlocking member.

[0021] (5) In the drug solution administration system described in item (4) above, the unlocking member has a cam pin including a first cam surface, and the locking member has a second cam surface against which the first cam surface slides, and the first cam surface and the second cam surface may convert the movement of the unlocking member relative to the casing in the disengagement direction into movement of the locking member in the disengagement direction.

[0022] The locking projection disengages from the engaging portion by moving the unlocking member in the direction in which the drug solution administration device is removed from the holder. That is, the direction in which the drug solution administration device is removed from the holder and the direction in which the unlocking member is moved to remove the drug solution administration device from the holder are the same. This makes it easy for the user to understand the direction in which the unlocking member must be moved to release the lock.

[0023] (6) In the drug solution administration system described in item (5) above, the first cam surface and the second cam surface may each be an inclined surface that slopes toward the disengagement direction as it moves from the removal direction toward the attachment direction.

[0024] By moving the unlocking member in the disengagement direction, the engaging protrusion of the locking member can be easily disengaged from the engaging portion.

[0025] (7) In the drug solution administration system described in any one of items (1) to (6), the casing may include a base member including the device-side base portion and a cover member connected to the base member. The base member may have a peripheral wall bent toward the disengagement direction relative to the device-side base portion. The cover member may have a covering wall that covers the peripheral wall from the outside. The covering wall may have an outer wall portion that forms the outer surface of the covering wall, an inner wall portion located inside the outer wall portion, and a pocket-shaped storage space formed between the inner wall portion and the outer wall portion. In this configuration, the locking member may be stored in the storage space.

[0026] According to this configuration, the locking member is located in the storage space between the inner wall portion and the outer wall portion, which prevents the locking member from being exposed in the width direction of the casing, thereby enabling the medicinal solution administration device to be made smaller.

[0027] (8) In the drug solution administration system described in any one of items (1) to (7) above, the locking member has a main body portion and a leg portion protruding from an end of the main body portion in the device movement direction and extending toward the engagement direction, and the engagement protrusion may be provided on the leg portion.

[0028] Since the leg portion extends in the engagement direction, the engaging protrusion can be provided at a position on the leg portion that allows it to easily engage with the engaging portion. In other words, with this configuration, the engaging protrusion can easily engage with the engaging portion.

[0029] (9) In the drug solution administration system described in (8), the leg portion may have a first leg portion protruding from an end of the main body portion in the attachment direction and a second leg portion protruding from an end of the main body portion in the removal direction. The elastic body may have a first elastic body that biases the first leg portion in the engagement direction and a second elastic body that biases the second leg portion in the engagement direction. The engaging protrusion may be provided on the first leg portion or the second leg portion.

[0030] Because the first leg is biased by the first elastic body and the second leg is biased by the second elastic body, the biasing force of the first elastic body on the locking member and the biasing force of the second elastic body on the locking member can be balanced. This prevents the locking member from tilting in the engagement direction or disengagement direction when the engaging protrusion is guided by the holder-side guide portion, for example. This allows the engaging protrusion to easily engage with the engaging portion.

[0031] (10) In the drug solution administration system described in item (8) above, the engaging protrusion may be located closer to the mounting direction than the main body in the device movement direction and closer to the removal direction than the elastic body.

[0032] With this configuration, the locking member, whose leg portion is biased by the elastic body, is prevented from rotating around the leg portion, for example. That is, the posture of the locking member is stabilized. Therefore, the engaging protrusion can easily move toward the engaging portion. As a result, the engaging protrusion can easily engage with the engaging portion.

[0033] According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the casing constituting the drug solution administration device from becoming large. This allows the drug solution administration device to be made smaller. Furthermore, the engaging protrusion of the locking member engages with the engaging portion of the holder, and the elastic body biases the locking member, preventing the drug solution administration device from being detached from the holder.

[0035] In the following description, a patient will be exemplified as a living body. Furthermore, a "user" refers to a person who uses the drug solution administration system 10 shown in Fig. 1 by fixing it to the body BD of the living body. A typical example of a user is a patient, but the user is not limited to a patient.

[0036] 1 is a schematic overall side view of a medicinal solution administration system 10 as viewed in a width direction W (described later). The medicinal solution administration system 10 is used by being fixed to a patient's body BD. The medicinal solution administration system 10 is fixed to the patient's skin SK, for example, by an adhesive sheet 12 provided on a first outer surface 24 of a holder 20 constituting the medicinal solution administration system 10.

[0037] The chemical solution administration system 10 includes a holder 20 and a chemical solution administration device 100. As can be understood with reference to FIGS. 8 to 12 , the chemical solution administration device 100 is detachably attached to the holder 20. When the chemical solution administration device 100 is attached to or detached from the holder 20, it moves relatively along a first inner surface 26 (see FIG. 2 ) of the holder 20. The direction of relative movement of the chemical solution administration device 100 on the first inner surface 26 when the chemical solution administration device 100 is attached to the holder 20 is the direction in which the chemical solution administration device 100 approaches the arch-shaped portion 42 of the holder 20. Hereinafter, this direction will be referred to as the attachment direction X1. When the chemical solution administration device 100 is detached from the holder 20, the direction of relative movement of the chemical solution administration device 100 on the first inner surface 26 is the direction in which the chemical solution administration device 100 moves away from the arch-shaped portion 42. Hereinafter, this direction will be referred to as the detachment direction X2. The mounting direction X1 and the removal direction X2 are opposite to each other.

[0038] The direction along the mounting direction X1 and the removal direction X2 is called the device movement direction X, and the direction perpendicular to the device movement direction X that is parallel to the plane on which the first inner surface 26 extends is called the width direction W. Furthermore, the direction perpendicular to the device movement direction X and the width direction W is called the thickness direction T.

[0039] As shown in Fig. 2, the holder 20 has a holder-side base portion 22. The holder-side base portion 22 has a first outer surface 24 and a first inner surface 26. The adhesive sheet 12 is provided on the first outer surface 24. When the holder 20 is fixed to the patient's skin SK via the adhesive sheet 12, the first outer surface 24 faces the skin SK (body BD). The first inner surface 26 is the surface opposite the first outer surface 24 (back surface).

[0040] The thickness direction T is the direction in which the first outer surface 24 faces the second inner surface 127 of the device-side base portion 124 that constitutes the casing 120. Hereinafter, in the thickness direction T, the direction from the second inner surface 127 toward the first outer surface 24 is referred to as the engagement direction T1. In the thickness direction T, the direction from the first outer surface 24 toward the second inner surface 127 is referred to as the disengagement direction T2. The engagement direction T1 and the disengagement direction T2 are opposite directions.

[0041] The holder-side base portion 22 has a unit holding portion 30 that protrudes from the first inner surface 26 in the disengagement direction T2. The unit holding portion 30 holds a cannula unit 60 (described below). An insertion hole 32 is formed in the unit holding portion 30, penetrating along the thickness direction T of the holder-side base portion 22. The insertion hole 32 is located between both ends of the holder-side base portion 22 in the device movement direction X and between both ends of the holder-side base portion 22 in the width direction W. A cannula 66 (see FIGS. 1 and 3 ) is passed through the insertion hole 32. The unit holding portion 30 includes a hook 33. The hook 33 functions to prevent the cannula unit 60 from coming off when an unintended force acting in the disengagement direction T2 acts on the cannula unit 60.

[0042] The holder-side base portion 22 has a protective portion 34 that protrudes from the first inner surface 26 in the disengagement direction T2. The protective portion 34 is located closer to the attachment direction X1 than the unit holding portion 30 and extends along the thickness direction T of the holder-side base portion 22. The protruding direction of the protective portion 34 is the disengagement direction T2, which is one direction in the thickness direction T of the holder-side base portion 22, and is the opposite direction to the skin SK. An end face 36 of the protective portion 34 on the attachment direction X1 side is inclined toward the removal direction X2 as it extends from the first inner surface 26 toward a top 38 of the protective portion 34. In other words, the end face 36 is an inclined surface.

[0043] The holder-side base portion 22 further has a convex guide 27 that protrudes in the disengagement direction T2 from the first inner surface 26. The convex guide 27 is a convex protrusion that extends in the device movement direction X, and guides the movement of the medical solution administration device 100 along the device movement direction X when the medical solution administration device 100 is attached to or detached from the holder 20.

[0044] The holder 20 has a first side portion 40a, a second side portion 40b, and an arch-shaped portion 42 that are continuous with the holder-side base portion 22. The first side portion 40a, the second side portion 40b, and the arch-shaped portion 42 protrude in the disengagement direction T2, similar to the protective portion 34. When the medicinal solution administration device 100 is attached to the holder 20, the first side portion 40a and the second side portion 40b sandwich the casing 120 in the width direction W. The end of the first side portion 40a on the attachment direction X1 side and the end of the second side portion 40b on the attachment direction X1 side are continuous via the arch-shaped portion 42. The first side portion 40a, the second side portion 40b, and the arch-shaped portion 42 form an integral standing wall portion.

[0045] An engagement rib 44 is provided on the inner surface of the first side portion 40a. The engagement rib 44 protrudes inward in the width direction W. A first guide rib 46 and a second guide rib 48 are provided on the inner surface of the first side portion 40a, closer to the engagement rib 44 in the removal direction X2. The first guide rib 46 and the second guide rib 48 are spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance in the device movement direction X.

[0046] The second guide rib 48 has a seat portion 50 that protrudes in the width direction W from the inner surface of the first side portion 40a, and a holder-side guide portion 52 that extends from the upper surface of the seat portion 50 in the disengagement direction T2. In the illustrated holder 20, the holder-side guide portion 52 has an inclined surface 54. The inclined surface 54 is a surface that inclines in a direction away from the first inner surface 26 (disengagement direction T2) as it moves from the removal direction X2 toward the attachment direction X1. The apex of the holder-side guide portion 52 is located closer to the disengagement direction T2 than the apex of the first guide rib 46.

[0047] The end face of the holder-side guide portion 52 on the mounting direction X1 side extends linearly along the thickness direction T. An engaging protrusion 276, which will be described later, releasably engages with the upper part of the end face. That is, the upper part of the end face of the holder-side guide portion 52 on the mounting direction X1 side forms the engaging portion 56.

[0048] Similarly, an engagement rib 44, a first guide rib 46, and a second guide rib 48 are provided on the inner surface of the second side portion 40b. The holder-side guide portion 52 of the second guide rib 48 has an inclined surface 54 that inclines in a direction away from the first inner surface 26 as it moves from the removal direction X2 toward the installation direction X1. An engagement portion 56 is formed at the upper portion of the end surface of the holder-side guide portion 52 on the installation direction X1 side.

[0049] As shown in FIG. 3 , the holder 20 is provided with a cannula unit 60. Specifically, the cannula unit 60 has a housing 62. When administering a medicinal solution to a patient using the medicinal solution administration system 10, the housing 62 is attached to the unit holding portion 30 on the first inner surface 26 of the holder 20. The housing 62 attached to the unit holding portion 30 protrudes from the first inner surface 26 in the disengagement direction T2 (the protruding direction of the protective portion 34). In the illustrated example, with respect to the height from the first inner surface 26 in the disengagement direction T2, the height of a top portion 64, which is the outer surface of the housing 62 in the disengagement direction T2, is approximately the same as the height of the top portion 38 of the protective portion 34.

[0050] Housing 62 has a locking recess 65. When a user performs a predetermined operation using a puncture device (not shown) that is pre-attached to holder 20, housing 62 rotates. As a result of this rotation, hook 33 provided on holder 20 engages with locking recess 65. As a result, cannula unit 60 is positioned and fixed to unit holding portion 30.

[0051] The cannula unit 60 has a cannula 66 attached to a housing 62. The cannula 66 has a main body 69 located at the distal end and a flared portion 70 located at the proximal end. A fixing member 71 is attached to the upper part of the flared portion 70. The fixing member 71 fits into a fitting recess 72 formed in the housing 62. This fitting holds the cannula 66 in the housing 62 via the fixing member 71. When the user performs a predetermined operation using the puncture tool, the fixing member 71 holding the cannula 66 approaches the unit holding portion 30, and the main body 69 of the cannula 66 is exposed from the insertion hole 32 together with the puncture needle of the puncture device. The puncture needle exposed from the insertion hole 32 and the main body 69 are then punctured into the patient's skin SK (see FIGS. 1 and 3 ).

[0052] The housing 62 has a first connecting portion 74. The first connecting portion 74 protrudes from a portion of the housing 62 facing the removal direction X2. The protruding direction of the first connecting portion 74 is the removal direction X2. A port 76 is formed inside the first connecting portion 74. The port 76 communicates with a lumen (not shown) of the cannula 66. A diaphragm 78 made of rubber or the like is disposed inside the port 76. The diaphragm 78 may be, for example, a valve body with a slit. Before the first connecting portion 74 is connected to the second connecting portion 160, the diaphragm 78 is closed. That is, the first connecting portion 74 is sealed by the diaphragm 78. This sealing by the diaphragm 78 protects the cannula 66 from the external environment.

[0053] 4, the medicinal liquid administration device 100 has a reservoir 102 and a casing 120 that houses the reservoir 102. The axis of the reservoir 102 extends along the direction X in which the medicinal liquid administration device 100 moves.

[0054] The casing 120 has a base member 122 and a cover member 210. As shown in Figures 3 and 6, the base member 122 has an apparatus-side base portion 124, and the apparatus-side base portion 124 has a second outer surface 126 and a second inner surface 127. The second outer surface 126 is a surface that faces the first inner surface 26 of the holder 20 when the medical solution administration device 100 is attached to the holder 20. The second inner surface 127 is a surface (back surface) opposite the second outer surface 126 and faces the inside of the casing 120.

[0055] The end (tip) of reservoir 102 in the removal direction X2 has a closed tip portion 180. Tip portion 180 has a first connection portion 182 and a second connection portion 184. First connection portion 182 extends from one end of tip portion 180 in the width direction W toward the removal direction X2. First connection portion 182 has a drug solution inlet 104 at its tip in the removal direction X2. The drug solution is supplied into reservoir 102 through drug solution inlet 104 when the user performs a predetermined operation.

[0056] The second connecting portion 184 protrudes from the other end of the tip portion 180 in the width direction W toward the end surface of the tip portion 180. As shown in FIG. 5 , when the second connecting portion 184 is viewed from the removal direction X2, the second connecting portion 184 is located inside a curved side surface 186 (described below) (toward the center of a cross section of the reservoir 102 along the width direction W). The second connecting portion 184 forms an L-shaped flow path that bends from the width direction W toward the engagement direction T1. The second connecting portion 184 has a protrusion 185 protruding toward the engagement direction T1 and a drug solution outlet 106 formed on the protrusion 185. The outer diameter of the protrusion 185 is smaller than the outer diameter of the second connecting portion 184.

[0057] Apparatus-side base portion 124 has a cylindrical portion 198 on second inner surface 127. Cylindrical portion 198 is formed by an annular wall extending from second inner surface 127 in disengagement direction T2. Cylindrical portion 198 has a connecting hole 200 therein. Protrusion 185 of second connection portion 184 engages with cylindrical portion 198. This places chemical solution outlet 106 and connecting hole 200 in communication with each other.

[0058] A flow hole 202 penetrates the bottom of the interior of cylindrical portion 198. As will be described later, the chemical solution discharged from reservoir 102 is supplied to chemical solution flow path 162 via chemical solution outlet 106 and flow hole 202. An O-ring 204 is attached to the outer periphery of protrusion 185. O-ring 204 provides a liquid-tight seal between the inner circumferential surface of connecting hole 200 and the outer circumferential surface of protrusion 185. This prevents the chemical solution from leaking from connecting hole 200.

[0059] 5 , the reservoir 102 has a curved side surface 186. The curved side surface 186 is curved so as to form a convex shape toward the flow path forming member 150 that forms the drug solution flow path 162. The reservoir 102 has a central portion 190 that is located at the center in the disengagement direction T2. In the illustrated example, the shape of the reservoir 102 when viewed from the removal direction X2 is a substantially perfect circle, but the shape of the reservoir 102 when viewed from the removal direction X2 may be a polygonal shape such as a square, or may be an elliptical or oblong shape.

[0060] As shown in Figure 4, inside reservoir 102, gasket 108 moves along removal direction X2, which is one direction of device movement direction X. Also, pump unit 110 is housed inside casing 120. Pump unit 110 has plunger 112 that presses gasket 108 and motor 114 that drives plunger 112. Motor 114 and plunger 112 are connected via multiple gears 116. When motor 114 is driven, plunger 112 moves toward chemical solution outlet 106, which is located on the removal direction X2 side. As this movement occurs, the chemical solution inside reservoir 102 is pushed by gasket 108 and flows out from chemical solution outlet 106.

[0061] The casing 120 may be configured to be separable into a base member 122 and a cover member 210. In this case, for example, of the pump unit 110, the reservoir 102, the plunger 112, some of the gears 116, etc. are arranged on the base member 122, and the motor 114, the remaining parts of the gears 116, the electronic board, etc. are arranged on the cover member 210. In addition, a battery (not shown) for driving the gear 116 is arranged on either the base member 122 or the cover member 210.

[0062] The base member 122 further has a peripheral wall 134 that is continuous and bent relative to the apparatus-side base portion 124. The peripheral wall 134 stands in an upright position along the disengagement direction T2 from the peripheral edges of the second outer surface 126 and the second inner surface 127. The apparatus-side base portion 124 and the peripheral wall 134 form an internal space inside the base member 122 that can accommodate the components that make up the pump unit 110.

[0063] 3 and 6, the second outer surface 126 of the device-side base portion 124 has a semicircular hole-shaped preliminary recess 128, an accommodating recess 130, and a recessed groove 132. The preliminary recess 128, the accommodating recess 130, and the recessed groove 132 are aligned in this order from the attachment direction X1 toward the removal direction X2, and are recessed in a direction away from the first inner surface 26 of the holder 20 (disengagement direction T2). The preliminary recess 128, the accommodating recess 130, and the recessed groove 132 form a continuous space.

[0064] 3 , the opening at the end of the auxiliary recess 128 in the mounting direction X1 is covered by a shielding portion 216 of the covering wall 214 of the cover member 210, which extends along the width direction W. As a result, the auxiliary recess 128 is open only in a portion facing the first inner surface 26. The shielding portion 216 faces the arch-shaped portion 42 of the holder 20 when the medical solution administration device 100 is mounted on the holder 20. When the medical solution administration device 100 is mounted on the holder 20, the protective portion 34 is located between the shielding portion 216 and the housing 62 of the cannula unit 60, and is also located within the accommodating recess 130. When the medical solution administration device 100 is removed from the holder 20, the protective portion 34 moves relatively from the accommodating recess 130 toward the auxiliary recess 128.

[0065] When the drug solution administration device 100 is attached to the holder 20, the cannula unit 60 is accommodated in the accommodation recess 130. The distance (depth D2) from the second outer surface 126 of the device-side base portion 124 to the ceiling surface of the accommodation recess 130 is longer than the distance (depth D1) from the second outer surface 126 of the device-side base portion 124 to the ceiling surface of the auxiliary recess 128.

[0066] As shown in FIG. 6 , the recessed groove 132 is generally L-shaped. Specifically, the recessed groove 132 has a first linear groove 192 that extends linearly in the device movement direction X and a second linear groove 194 that extends linearly slightly in the width direction W. The second linear groove 194 is connected to the end of the first linear groove 192 on the side of the removal direction X2, and bends approximately 90 degrees toward the central axis of the reservoir 102 in the longitudinal direction. The second linear groove 194 is shorter than the first linear groove 192. Thus, the recessed groove 132 is generally L-shaped when the base member 122 is viewed from the engagement direction T1 toward the disengagement direction T2.

[0067] The groove 132 has an inner groove ceiling surface 133. The inner groove ceiling surface 133 is the inner surface of the groove 132 and is part of the second outer surface 126. The inner groove ceiling surface 133 is the ceiling surface of the groove 132.

[0068] The medicinal liquid administration device 100 has a flow path forming member 150 shown in Figures 3 to 6. When the medicinal liquid administration device 100 is viewed from the thickness direction T, the flow path forming member 150 has a substantially L-shape corresponding to the shape of the recessed groove 132 (see Figures 4 and 6). Specifically, as shown in Figure 6, the flow path forming member 150 has a first linear portion 152 that extends linearly along the device movement direction X and a second linear portion 154 that extends linearly slightly along the width direction W. The second linear portion 154 is connected to the end of the first linear portion 152 on the removal direction X2 side so as to bend at approximately 90 degrees toward the reservoir 102. The second linear portion 154 is shorter than the first linear portion 152.

[0069] The flow path forming member 150 has a hollow interior 156 and an opening 158 (see FIG. 5 in particular). The opening 158 is formed in the side of the flow path forming member 150 facing the ceiling surface 133 of the groove 132. The hollow interior 156 is connected to the opening 158. Therefore, when the flow path forming member 150 is cut along the width direction W and viewed from the device movement direction X, the cross section is generally U-shaped. The opening 158 opens in the disengagement direction T2. The hollow interior 156 is bent in a generally L-shape corresponding to the shape of the flow path forming member 150 (see FIG. 6). The flow path forming member 150 further has a second connecting portion 160 at its end in the installation direction X1. Note that the second connecting portion 160 does not have the opening 158. In other words, the second connecting portion 160 is a tubular portion having an internal cavity. The end surface of the second connecting portion 160 in the mounting direction X1 may be a flat surface.

[0070] A suitable material for the flow path forming member 150 is resin. Furthermore, it is preferable that the flow path forming member 150 is transparent so that the chemical liquid flowing through the hollow interior 156 (chemical liquid flow path 162) can be seen from outside the flow path forming member 150. Examples of such resins include polypropylene, polycarbonate, polyethylene, and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer. However, the material for the flow path forming member 150 is not limited to resin. The material for the flow path forming member 150 may also be metal.

[0071] As shown in FIG. 3 , the flow path forming member 150 is accommodated in the groove 132. Specifically, the first linear portion 152 is accommodated in the first linear groove 192, and the second linear portion 154 is accommodated in the second linear groove 194 (see FIG. 6 ). The length of the flow path forming member 150 in the thickness direction T is shorter than the length (depth) of the groove 132 in the thickness direction T. Therefore, the entire flow path forming member 150 is accommodated in the groove 132 in the thickness direction T (see FIG. 3 ). In other words, the flow path forming member 150 is not exposed from the groove 132 in the thickness direction T. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3 , a guide recess 174 is formed between the surface of the second outer surface 126 closest to the engagement direction T1 and the surface of the first linear portion 152 closest to the engagement direction T1. The guide recess 174 extends along the device movement direction X. When the medicinal solution administration device 100 is placed on the first inner surface 26 of the holder 20 , the position of the guide recess 174 corresponds to the position of the ridge guide 27 .

[0072] 3 and 5, the end face of the flow path forming member 150 in the disengagement direction T2 abuts against the groove ceiling surface 133 of the recessed groove 132. The end face and the groove ceiling surface 133 are joined by, for example, ultrasonic welding or an adhesive, with ultrasonic welding being most preferable. As a result, the opening 158 of the flow path forming member 150 is closed by the groove ceiling surface 133 (i.e., the second outer surface 126). This forms the chemical liquid flow path 162. Alternatively, a sealant may be inserted between the end face of the flow path forming member 150 and the groove ceiling surface 133.

[0073] 4 and 5 , when the drug solution administration device 100 is viewed from the disengagement direction T2 toward the engagement direction T1, at least a portion of the drug solution flow path 162 overlaps the position of the reservoir 102. That is, on the engagement direction T1 side of the syringe-shaped reservoir 102, the drug solution flow path 162 is arranged along a gap that occurs along the longitudinal direction of the reservoir 102. The first linear portion 152 of the flow path forming member 150 and the drug solution flow path 162 are located on the engagement direction T1 side of the reservoir 102, sandwiching the base member 122 therebetween, in the width direction W of the reservoir 102. The length of the flow path forming member 150 in the device movement direction X is slightly longer than the length of the reservoir 102 in the device movement direction X (see FIG. 4 ). Therefore, the first straight portion 152 and the drug solution flow path 162 overlap one end of the reservoir 102 in the width direction W from the end of the tip portion 180 of the reservoir 102 on the mounting direction X1 side to the end of the reservoir 102 on the removal direction X2 side.

[0074] As shown in Fig. 3 , the second connecting part 160 is exposed from the recessed groove 132 in the mounting direction X1 and is positioned in the accommodating recess 130. The second connecting part 160 is connected to the first connecting part 74. As a result, the medicinal solution administration device 100 is mounted to the holder 20. Meanwhile, as shown in Fig. 5 , the medicinal solution outlet 106 of the reservoir 102 and the hollow interior 156 of the flow path forming member 150 are in communication with each other via the connecting hole 200 and the communication hole 202. As a result, the medicinal solution outlet 106 of the reservoir 102 and the port 76 of the housing 62 are connected via the medicinal solution flow path 162.

[0075] 6 , the base member 122 has a peripheral wall 134. The peripheral wall 134 has a first side surface 134a and a second side surface 134b. When the medical solution administration device 100 is attached to the holder 20, the first side surface 134a faces the inner surface of the first side portion 40a of the holder 20, and the second side surface 134b faces the inner surface of the second side portion 40b of the holder 20.

[0076] An engagement groove 136 is formed on the first side surface 134a. The engagement groove 136 is located slightly closer to the mounting direction X1 than the approximate center of the first side surface 134a in the device movement direction X, and extends along the device movement direction X. The engagement rib 44 is inserted into the engagement groove 136 so as to be movable along the device movement direction X.

[0077] A first recess 138 extending in the engagement direction T1 is continuous with the end of the engagement groove 136 on the mounting direction X1 side. The first recess 138 is formed as a notch recessed inward in the width direction W on the first side surface 134a when the base member 122 is viewed from the second outer surface 126 side. The end of the first recess 138 on the engagement direction T1 side is continuous with a first insertion / removal opening 140. The first insertion / removal opening 140 is formed at the boundary between the device-side base portion 124 and the first side surface 134a of the base member 122, and extends along the device movement direction X. The first insertion / removal opening 140 opens a portion of the first side surface 134a toward the second outer surface 126.

[0078] A second recess 142 is formed in the first side surface 134a at a position closer to the removal direction X2 than the engagement groove 136. The second recess 142 is a recess for inserting the first guide rib 46 and the second guide rib 48. The second recess 142 is formed by recessing the first side surface 134a inward in the width direction W. This prevents the first guide rib 46 and the second guide rib 48 from interfering with the first side surface 134a. A second insertion / removal opening 144 is connected to the end of the second recess 142 on the engagement direction T1 side. The second insertion / removal opening 144 is formed at the boundary between the second outer surface 126 and the first side surface 134a of the base member 122 and extends along the device movement direction X. When the base member 122 is viewed from the second outer surface 126, the second insertion / removal opening 144 is formed as a notch recessed inward in the width direction W on the first side surface 134a. The second insertion / removal opening 144 opens a portion of the first side surface 134 a to the second outer surface 126 side.

[0079] The second side surface 134b also has similar components provided at positions symmetrical about a line of symmetry that passes through the center of the width direction W of the casing 120 and is parallel to the device movement direction X. That is, the second side surface 134b also has an engagement groove 136, a first recess 138, a first insertion / removal opening 140, a second recess 142, and a second insertion / removal opening 144. As described above, the holder 20 has an engagement rib 44, a first guide rib 46, and a second guide rib 48 provided at positions corresponding to the respective components of the second side surface 134b. In this way, by arranging components that perform similar functions at positions symmetrical to each other in the device movement direction X on the first side surface 134a and the second side surface 134b, the attachment and detachment operation of the medicinal solution administration device 100 to and from the holder 20 can be performed stably.

[0080] 1, the cover member 210 is connected to the base member 122 so as to cover the entire end of the base member 122 on the disengagement direction T2 side. Accordingly, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, the cover member 210 and the base member 122 form an inner chamber 211. The reservoir 102 and the pump unit 110 are housed in the inner chamber 211 (see Figure 4).

[0081] 7, the cover member 210 has a ceiling portion 212 that extends in the device movement direction X and the width direction W, and a cover wall 214 that bends from the ceiling portion 212 toward the engagement direction T1. The cover wall 214 covers the peripheral wall 134 of the base member 122 from the outside. As described above, the shielding portion 216 (see FIG. 3) of the cover wall 214 forms the end of the auxiliary recess 128 in the installation direction X1.

[0082] The following provides a more detailed description of the structure for locking the medicinal solution administration device 100 to the holder 20. The locking mechanisms, such as the unlocking member 240, are provided on two side surfaces of the medicinal solution administration device 100 and the holder 20 that face the width direction W, but to simplify the description and make it easier to understand, only one of the two side surfaces will be described.

[0083] As shown in FIG. 7 , the cover wall 214 further includes a first cover portion 220a located outward from the first side surface 134a of the peripheral wall 134 and a second cover portion 220b located outward from the second side surface 134b of the peripheral wall 134. A portion of the first cover portion 220a adjacent to the end portion in the removal direction X2 forms a double wall portion 230. Specifically, the double wall portion 230 includes an outer wall portion 232, an inner wall portion 234, and a storage space 236. The outer surface of the outer wall portion 232 is part of the outer surface of the first cover portion 220a. That is, the outer surface of the outer wall portion 232 forms the outer surface of the cover wall 214. The inner wall portion 234 is located inward from the outer wall portion 232. The outer wall portion 232 and the inner wall portion 234 are slightly spaced apart by a predetermined distance. This separation forms a pocket-shaped storage space 236 between the outer wall portion 232 and the inner wall portion 234 .

[0084] The double wall portion 230 of the first cover portion 220a has an insertion opening 238 that penetrates from the outer surface of the outer wall portion 232 to the storage space 236. The insertion opening 238 is generally rectangular in shape, with two sides extending along the device movement direction X being slightly longer than the two sides extending along the thickness direction T. An unlocking member 240 is inserted into the insertion opening 238.

[0085] The unlocking member 240 is a substantially square plate-shaped member and has engagement claws (not shown) at its end on the engagement direction T1 side and its end on the disengagement direction T2 side. The engagement claws are hooked onto the inner surface of the outer wall 232 near the engagement direction T1 side of the insertion opening 238 and near the disengagement direction T2 side of the insertion opening 238. The unlocking member 240 can be slid within the insertion opening 238 along the device movement direction X by a user's operation.

[0086] The unlocking member 240 has a cam pin 244 provided on a surface facing inward in the width direction W. The cam pin 244 has a first cam surface 246. The first cam surface 246 is an inclined surface that slopes toward the disengagement direction T2 as it moves from the removal direction X2 toward the attachment direction X1.

[0087] The following description will be given with reference to the second cover portion 220b illustrated in FIG. The storage space 236 has, in order from the mounting direction X1 toward the removal direction X2, a first sub-storage portion 250a, a main storage portion 252, and a second sub-storage portion 250b. The first sub-storage portion 250a and the second sub-storage portion 250b are internal chambers shaped like hollowed-out cylinders. The cover member 210 has a casing-side guide portion 254 provided on the outer wall portion 232. The casing-side guide portion 254 has a first casing-side guide portion 254a and a second casing-side guide portion 254b. The first casing-side guide portion 254a extends from a corner on the mounting direction X1 side and the disengagement direction T2 side at the inner edge of the insertion opening 238 toward the engagement direction T1. The second casing side guide portion 254b extends in the engagement direction T1 from a corner on the removal direction X2 side and the disengagement direction T2 side at the inner edge of the insertion opening 238. The first casing side guide portion 254a and the second casing side guide portion 254b are parallel to each other.

[0088] A locking member 260 is stored in the storage space 236. As shown in Fig. 7 , the locking member 260 integrally includes a leg portion 261 and a main body portion 264. The leg portion 261 includes a first leg portion 262 and a second leg portion 266. The first leg portion 262, the main body portion 264, and the second leg portion 266 are arranged in this order from the mounting direction X1 toward the removal direction X2.

[0089] The main body 264 includes a head 268 having a generally rectangular shape. A cam hole 270 is formed in the main body 264, into which the cam pin 244 of the unlocking member 240 is inserted. The cam hole 270 has a second cam surface 272 against which the first cam surface 246 slides. The second cam surface 272 is an inclined surface parallel to the first cam surface 246. That is, like the first cam surface 246, the second cam surface 272 is an inclined surface that slopes toward the disengagement direction T2 as it moves from the removal direction X2 toward the attachment direction X1.

[0090] The main body 264 has a reinforcing portion 273. The reinforcing portion 273 is located closer to the engagement direction T1 than the cam hole 270 and extends along the device movement direction X. The reinforcing portion 273 improves the rigidity of the locking member 260. However, the reinforcing portion 273 may be omitted. In this case, the cam hole 270 has an opening on the engagement direction T1 side.

[0091] The main body 264 has a tip 274 that protrudes further in the mounting direction X1 than the head 268. The tip 274 is located further in the engagement direction T1 than the head 268. The first leg 262 is integrally connected to the tip 274. Specifically, the first leg 262 has a substantially right-angled triangular shape. One side of the first leg 262 that forms an apex with a substantially right angle is connected to a surface of the tip 274 at the end on the mounting direction X1 side that faces the engagement direction T1. This allows the first leg 262 to protrude from the end of the main body 264 on the mounting direction X1 side.

[0092] The first leg 262 has a convex end that protrudes in the engagement direction T1. This end is an engagement convex portion 276. That is, the first leg 262 has the engagement convex portion 276 at the end facing the engagement direction T1. As will be described later, when the medical solution administration device 100 is attached to the holder 20, the engagement convex portion 276 engages with the engagement portion 56 of the holder 20 (see FIG. 11 ).

[0093] 7 and 8 , a first cylindrical portion 278 is provided on one side of the first leg portion 262 that is exposed from the protruding end portion 274. The first cylindrical portion 278 extends in the disengagement direction T2. The first cylindrical portion 278 is inserted into the end of the first elastic body 292a that constitutes the elastic body 290, the end being on the engagement direction T1 side. In the illustrated example, the first elastic body 292a is a coil spring. However, the first elastic body 292a may be any object that exhibits elasticity and is not particularly limited to a coil spring.

[0094] The main body 264 has an extension 280 that extends in the engagement direction T1 from the end of the head 268 on the engagement direction T1 side. The second leg 266 protrudes in the removal direction X2 from the end faces of the head 268 and the extension 280 on the removal direction X2 side. The second leg 266 has a generally trapezoidal shape.

[0095] A second cylindrical portion 282 is provided at the end of the second leg portion 266 on the side facing the removal direction X2. The second cylindrical portion 282 extends in the disengagement direction T2. The second cylindrical portion 282 is inserted into the end of a second elastic body 292b constituting the elastic body 290 on the side facing the engagement direction T1. In the illustrated example, the second elastic body 292b is a coil spring. However, the second elastic body 292b is not particularly limited to a coil spring as long as it is an elastic body.

[0096] As shown in FIG. 8 , the main body 264 is accommodated in the main accommodation section 252 of the accommodation space 236. Within the main accommodation section 252, the head 268 of the main body 264 is positioned between the first casing-side guide section 254a and the second casing-side guide section 254b in the device movement direction X. The first cylindrical section 278 is accommodated in the first auxiliary accommodation section 250a together with the first elastic body 292a. The end of the first elastic body 292a on the disengagement direction T2 side abuts against the inner surface of the ceiling section 212 of the cover member 210. Therefore, the first elastic body 292a biases the first leg 262 in the engagement direction T1. The second cylindrical section 282 is accommodated in the second auxiliary accommodation section 250b together with the second elastic body 292b. The end of the second elastic body 292b on the disengagement direction T2 side abuts against the inner surface of the ceiling portion 212 of the cover member 210. Therefore, the second elastic body 292b biases the second leg portion 266 in the engagement direction T1.

[0097] As can be seen from the above positional relationship, in this aspect, the engaging protrusion 276 is located closer to the attachment direction X1 than the main storage section 252 and the main body section 264 in the device movement direction X. Moreover, the engaging protrusion 276 is located closer to the removal direction X2 than the first elastic body 292a that constitutes the elastic body 290 in the device movement direction X.

[0098] Note that one of the first leg portion 262 and the second leg portion 266 may be omitted from the locking member 260. For example, the second leg portion 266 and the second elastic body 292b may be omitted from the above configuration. Alternatively, the first leg portion 262 and the first elastic body 292a may be omitted from the above configuration. In the above configurations as well, the engaging protrusion 276 releasably engages with the engaging portion 56.

[0099] Similarly, in the first cover portion 220a, the locking member 260 is supported by the cover member 210 so as to be movable in the engagement direction T1 and the disengagement direction T2, and is housed in the housing space 236 of the double wall portion 230. However, the locking member 260 may be omitted from one of the first cover portion 220a and the second cover portion 220b. In this case, the second guide rib 48 on one of the first side portion 40a and the second side portion 40b in the holder 20 may be omitted.

[0100] The medicinal liquid administration system 10 is used as follows: First, a user fills the reservoir 102 in the base member 122 with medicinal liquid via the medicinal liquid inlet 104 using, for example, a predetermined medicinal liquid filling device.

[0101] Next, with the drug solution outlet 106 of the reservoir 102 facing upward, the user uses a coin or the like to push the plunger 112 toward the tip of the reservoir 102. As a result, the plunger 112 moves in the removal direction X2, and most of the air inside the reservoir 102 is pushed out into the gasket 108. Thereafter, the user attaches the cover member 210 to the base member 122.

[0102] Next, the user operates a remote controller (not shown) to perform a priming operation to fill liquid medicine flow path 162 with the liquid medicine. To do this, motor 114 is driven. As a result, the liquid medicine in reservoir 102, which is pressed by gasket 108, and any air still remaining in liquid medicine flow path 162, etc., are discharged from liquid medicine outlet 106. After moving to connecting hole 200, the liquid medicine moves through flow hole 202 and opening 158 into hollow interior 156 of flow path forming member 150. As a result, the liquid medicine flows into liquid medicine flow path 162. Because flow path forming member 150 is generally L-shaped and first linear portion 152 extends toward installation direction X1, the flow direction of the liquid medicine in liquid medicine flow path 162 is changed from width direction W to installation direction X1. In this way, by making the flow path forming member 150 approximately L-shaped, it is easy to change the direction of the medicinal liquid pushed out of the reservoir 102 in the removal direction X2 to the attachment direction X1, which is the opposite direction to the removal direction X2.

[0103] The medicinal liquid then moves in attachment direction X1 along medicinal liquid flow path 162. A small amount of the medicinal liquid that reaches second coupling part 160 is discharged from the port of second coupling part 160. This allows the user to recognize that the air that was present from inside second connection part 184 across the port of second coupling part 160 prior to the start of medicinal liquid flow has been pushed out by the medicinal liquid, and medicinal liquid flow path 162 has been filled with medicinal liquid. In this case, the user stops pressing plunger 112 against the medicinal liquid.

[0104] When flow path forming member 150 is transparent, the user can visually check liquid chemical flow path 162 from the outside of flow path forming member 150. Therefore, the user can quickly visually check, for example, whether or not foreign matter has been mixed into the liquid chemical in liquid chemical flow path 162. Alternatively, the user can quickly visually check whether or not air has been trapped in the liquid chemical in liquid chemical flow path 162 (whether or not air bubbles are present).

[0105] Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 8 , the user fixes holder 20 to the patient's skin SK at a predetermined location via adhesive sheet 12. An example of the predetermined location is the abdomen. At this point, cannula unit 60 (see FIGS. 2 and 3 ) is not held by unit holding portion 30 of holder 20. Next, the user performs a predetermined operation using a puncture device (not shown). This causes the puncture needle of the puncture device and main body 69 of cannula 66 to pass through insertion hole 32 and puncture the patient's skin SK. The user rotates housing 62 together with the puncture device, causing cannula unit 60 to approach unit holding portion 30 and for hook 33 of holder 20 to engage with locking recess 65 of housing 62.

[0106] This positions and fixes the cannula unit 60 to the holder 20. Based on this, the body 69 of the cannula 66 remains inserted into the subcutaneous tissue UK of the patient. That is, the body 69 of the cannula 66 remains indwelling in the subcutaneous tissue UK of the patient. The user then removes the puncture device from the holder 20. With this operation, only the puncture needle is removed from the subcutaneous tissue UK. Therefore, only the cannula 66 remains indwelling in the subcutaneous tissue UK.

[0107] The user mounts the liquid medicine administration device 100 in the holder 20 after visually checking that there are no air bubbles in the liquid medicine in the liquid medicine flow path 162 (see FIG. 6 in particular).

[0108] [First Step] In the process of attaching the drug solution administration device 100 to the holder 20, the user abuts the second outer surface 126 of the device-side base portion 124 of the base member 122 against the first inner surface 26 of the holder 20 at a position (see FIG. 3 ) where the protective portion 34 and the cannula unit 60 are accommodated in the accommodation recess 130, as shown in FIG. 8 . At this time, the engagement rib 44 (see FIG. 2 ) is inserted into the engagement groove 136 via the first insertion / removal opening 140 (see FIG. 6 ). Furthermore, the first guide rib 46 (see FIG. 2 ) and the second guide rib 48 are inserted into the second recess 142 via the second insertion / removal opening 144 (see FIG. 6 ). The inclined surface 47 (see FIG. 2 ) of the first guide rib 46 guides the inclined surface 143 (see FIG. 6 ) of the second recess 142. Furthermore, the upper portion of the ridge guide 27 (see FIG. 3 ) is inserted into the guide recess 174.

[0109] As shown in Figure 8, at this point in time, in a side view from the width direction W, the end of the chemical liquid administration device 100 on the removal direction X2 side protrudes from the first inner surface 26 of the holder 20 in the removal direction X2, and other parts of the chemical liquid administration device 100 are placed on the first inner surface 26. At this stage, the first connecting portion 74 (see Figure 3) of the housing 62 and the second connecting portion 160 of the chemical liquid administration device 100 are not yet connected. In addition, the engaging protrusion 276 is spaced in the removal direction X2 from the holder-side guide portion 52 (inclined surface 54) that constitutes the second guide rib 48, and is not yet engaged with the engaging portion 56. Therefore, the chemical liquid administration device 100 is not yet attached to the holder 20.

[0110] [Second step] From this state, the user slides the medicinal liquid administration device 100 on the holder 20 in the mounting direction X1, as shown in Figure 9. The medicinal liquid administration device 100 moves relative to the holder 20 in the mounting direction X1 along the first inner surface 26. During this relative movement, the medicinal liquid administration device 100 is guided by the convex guide 27 (see Figure 3). Therefore, when attaching the medicinal liquid administration device 100 to the holder 20, the user can slide the medicinal liquid administration device 100 stably on the holder 20. The same applies to the attachment and detachment of the medicinal liquid administration device 100 from the holder 20.

[0111] As the chemical solution administration device 100 moves relative to the holder 260 in the mounting direction X1 as described above, the locking member 260 also moves relative to the holder 260 in the mounting direction X1. This movement causes the engaging protrusion 276 to abut against the holder-side guide portion 52 (inclined surface 54), as shown in FIG. 9 . As the chemical solution administration device 100 is further moved relative to the holder 260 in the mounting direction X1, the engaging protrusion 276 receives a reaction force from the inclined surface 54 and is pushed in the disengagement direction T2, as shown in FIG. 10 . Based on this, as can be seen by comparing FIGS. 9 and 10 , the locking member 260 gradually moves in the disengagement direction T2 as it moves relative to the holder 260 in the mounting direction X1. During this movement, the head 268 of the main body 264 is guided by the first casing-side guide portion 254a and the second casing-side guide portion 254b. As the locking member 260 moves in the disengagement direction T2, the first elastic body 292a and the second elastic body 292b are compressed.

[0112] 11 , the user further slides the medicinal liquid administration device 100 on the holder 20 in the mounting direction X1. As a result, the first connecting portion 74 of the housing 62 and the second connecting portion 160 of the flow path forming member 150 are connected to each other (see FIG. 3 ). Accordingly, the medicinal liquid outlet 106 of the reservoir 102 and the port 76 of the housing 62 are connected via the medicinal liquid flow path 162 (flow path forming member 150), and the medicinal liquid administration device 100 is mounted on the holder 20.

[0113] At approximately the same time, as shown in FIG. 11 , the engaging protrusion 276 passes through the holder-side guide portion 52 and reaches the engaging portion 56. At this time, the compressed first elastic body 292a and second elastic body 292b expand. The expanded first elastic body 292a and second elastic body 292b urge the locking member 260 toward the engaging direction T1. This urging causes the locking member 260 to move toward the engaging direction T1. As a result, the engaging protrusion 276 engages with the engaging portion 56. The first elastic body 292a and second elastic body 292b continue to urge the locking member 260 toward the engaging direction T1 even after the engaging protrusion 276 engages with the engaging portion 56. This prevents the engaging protrusion 276 from coming off the engaging portion 56. As a result, the medicinal solution administration device 100 is prevented from moving in the removal direction X2 on the holder 20.

[0114] Furthermore, the engagement rib 44 (see FIG. 2) engages with the engagement groove 136 (see FIG. 6). When the engagement protrusion 276 engages with the engagement portion 56 and the engagement rib 44 engages with the engagement groove 136, the chemical solution administration device 100 is positioned and fixed to the holder 20 with the second connecting portion 160 connected to the first connecting portion 74. In other words, the chemical solution administration device 100 is prevented from falling off the holder 20.

[0115] [Step 4] Next, the user operates the remote controller. This drives the motor 114 (see FIG. 4 ), moving the plunger 112 and the gasket 108 in the removal direction X2. As a result, the medicinal liquid in the reservoir 102 is pushed by the gasket 108 and discharged from the medicinal liquid outlet 106. The medicinal liquid moves along the medicinal liquid flow path 162 in the attachment direction X1, as described above. Next, the medicinal liquid flows from the second connecting portion 160 toward the first connecting portion 74, and then flows through the lumen of the cannula 66 via the port 76 of the housing 62. The medicinal liquid then flows out of the medicinal liquid administration port of the lumen. This allows the medicinal liquid to be continuously administered to the patient.

[0116] [Fifth Step] When administration of the medicinal solution is completed, the user removes the medicinal solution administration device 100 from the holder 20. First, the user places, for example, their thumb on the unlocking member 240 and slides the unlocking member 240 with their thumb inside the insertion opening 238 in the removal direction X2, as shown in FIG.

[0117] As described above, the first cam surface 246 of the cam pin 244 that constitutes the unlocking member 240 abuts against the second cam surface 272 of the cam hole 270 of the locking member 260. Therefore, when the unlocking member 240 moves in the removal direction X2, the first cam surface 246 slides relatively along the second cam surface 272. The first cam surface 246 and the second cam surface 272 are inclined toward the disengagement direction T2 as they move from the removal direction X2 toward the attachment direction X1. Therefore, as the unlocking member 240 moves in the removal direction X2, the locking member 260 gradually moves in the disengagement direction T2.

[0118] 12 , when the unlocking member 240 moves a certain distance in the removal direction X2 relative to the cover member 210, the unlocking member 240 moves in the release direction T2 until the engaging protrusion 276 is released from the engaging portion 56. In other words, the engagement of the engaging protrusion 276 with the engaging portion 56 is released.

[0119] [Sixth Step] The user slides the chemical solution administration device 100 in this state along the first inner surface 26 of the holder 20 in the removal direction X2. The chemical solution administration device 100 moves relative to the holder 20 in the removal direction X2 along the first inner surface 26, and assumes the state shown in Fig. 12 . As a result, the first connecting portion 74 (see Fig. 3 ) of the housing 62 and the second connecting portion 160 of the flow path forming member 150 are released from each other. In addition, the engagement rib 44 (see Fig. 2 ) is released from the engagement groove 136 (see Fig. 6 ) and moves relative to the first recess 138.

[0120] In this manner, the medicinal liquid administration device 100 is detached from the holder 20. As a result, in a side view from the width direction W, the end of the medicinal liquid administration device 100 on the removal direction X2 side protrudes from the first inner surface 26 of the holder 20 in the removal direction X2 side, as in Fig. 8 , and the other part of the medicinal liquid administration device 100 is placed on the holder 20. In other words, the medicinal liquid administration device 100 is released from the engagement with the holder 20.

[0121] Next, when the user senses that the top portion 38 of the protective portion 34 has come into contact with the step formed by the difference between the depth D1 of the preliminary recess 128 and the depth D2 of the storage recess 130, the user pulls up the medical solution administration device 100 in the disengagement direction T2. As a result, the engagement rib 44 (see FIG. 2) disengages from the first recess 138 via the first insertion / removal opening 140 (see FIG. 6). The first guide rib 46 and the second guide rib 48 disengage from the second recess 142 via the second insertion / removal opening 144. In this way, the shielding portion 216 of the cover member 210 is prevented from interfering with the cannula unit 60.

[0122] The medicinal solution administration system 10 according to this embodiment has the following advantages.

[0123] 1 to 3, the drug solution administration system 10 includes a drug solution administration device 100 having a reservoir 102 filled with a drug solution, and a holder 20 to which the drug solution administration device 100 is detachably attached. The holder 20 is provided with a cannula 66 to be inserted into a living body.

[0124] 7 and 8, the medicinal liquid administration device 100 has a casing 120 that houses the reservoir 102, a locking member 260 that is supported by the casing 120 and that positions and fixes the medicinal liquid administration device 100 to the holder 20, and an elastic body 290 that biases the locking member 260. As shown in Fig. 3 and 6, the casing 120 has a device-side base portion 124 that faces the living body via the holder 20 when the medicinal liquid administration device 100 is attached to the holder 20.

[0125] As shown in Figures 7 and 8, the locking member 260 has an engaging protrusion 276 extending toward the holder 20. As shown in Figure 2, the holder 20 has a holder-side base portion 22 that holds the cannula 66 and an engaging portion 56 with which the engaging protrusion 276 releasably engages. The holder-side base portion 22 has a first outer surface 24 that faces the living body when the holder 20 is fixed to the living body, and a first inner surface 26 that is the back side of the first outer surface 24 and faces the device-side base portion 124. As shown in Figures 3, 5, and 6, the device-side base portion 124 has a second outer surface 126 that faces the first inner surface 26 when the medical solution administration device 100 is attached to the holder 20, and a second inner surface 127 that is the back side of the second outer surface 126 and faces the inside of the casing 120.

[0126] 1 to 3 , the direction in which the second outer surface 126 moves relatively along the first inner surface 26 when the medical solution administration device 100 is attached to the holder 20 is defined as an attachment direction X1. The direction opposite to the attachment direction X1, in which the second outer surface 126 moves relatively along the first inner surface 26 when the medical solution administration device 100 is detached from the holder 20, is defined as a detachment direction X2. The direction along the attachment direction X1 and the detachment direction X2 is defined as the device movement direction X. Furthermore, the direction perpendicular to the device movement direction X, in which the second inner surface 127 and the first outer surface 24 face each other, is defined as the thickness direction T. One direction in the thickness direction T, which is the direction from the second inner surface 127 toward the first outer surface 24, is defined as an engagement direction T1. The other direction in the thickness direction T, which is the opposite direction to the engagement direction T1, is defined as a disengagement direction T2.

[0127] 7 and 8, the locking member 260 is supported by the casing 120 so as to be movable in the engagement direction T1 and the disengagement direction T2. The elastic body 290 biases the locking member 260 in the engagement direction T1 when the engaging protrusion 276 is engaged with the engaging portion 56.

[0128] With this configuration, the movement direction of the locking member 260 is restricted to the engagement direction T1 and the disengagement direction T2 (thickness direction T). That is, the locking member 260 is prevented from moving in the width direction W, which is perpendicular to the device movement direction X and also perpendicular to the engagement direction T1 and the disengagement direction T2. This prevents the casing 120 from becoming larger in size along the width direction W. This allows the medicinal solution administration device 100 to be made more compact.

[0129] Furthermore, the locking member 260 is biased in the engagement direction T1 by the elastic body 290, thereby preventing the engagement protrusion 276 from coming off the engagement portion 56. Therefore, even if a user of the chemical solution administration system 10 unintentionally touches the casing 120, the chemical solution administration device 100 remains positioned and fixed to the holder 20. In other words, even if a force acting in a direction that causes the chemical solution administration device 100 to come off the holder 20 acts on the casing 120 due to an unexpected event, the chemical solution administration device 100 is prevented from coming off the holder 20.

[0130] 2, the holder 20 has a holder-side guide portion 52 that guides the engaging protrusion 276, which moves relatively along the mounting direction X1, to the engaging portion 56 when the medical solution administration device 100 is mounted on the holder 20. The holder-side guide portion 52 has an inclined surface 54 that is inclined toward the disengagement direction T2 as it approaches the engaging portion 56 along the mounting direction X1.

[0131] 8 to 10 , when the engaging protrusion 276 moves along the holder-side guide portion 52, the locking member 260 moves relative to the casing 120 in the disengagement direction T2 away from the holder 20. This causes the elastic body 290 to be compressed. Therefore, when the engaging protrusion 276 passes through the holder-side guide portion 52 and reaches the engaging portion 56, the elastic body 290 expands. This expansion urges the locking member 260 toward the holder 20, and the engaging protrusion 276 engages with the engaging portion 56 as shown in FIG. 11 .

[0132] Therefore, when the engaging protrusion 276 is to be detached from the engaging portion 56, it is necessary to compress the elastic body 290. In other words, unless the elastic body 290 is compressed, the engaging protrusion 276 continues to be prevented from coming off from the engaging portion 56. Therefore, the medicinal solution administration device 100 is further prevented from being detached from the holder 20.

[0133] 8, the casing 120 has a casing-side guide portion 254. The casing-side guide portion 254 guides the movement of the locking member 260 in the engaging direction T1 or the disengaging direction T2.

[0134] The casing-side guide portion 254 further restricts the locking member 260 from moving in any direction other than the engaging direction T1 and the disengaging direction T2, thereby further preventing the casing 120 from becoming large in size along the width direction W.

[0135] The chemical solution administration device 100 has an unlocking member 240 that is movably provided with respect to the casing 120. As shown in Figure 12, the movement of the unlocking member 240 causes the locking member 260 to move in the disengagement direction T2, whereby the engaging protrusion 276 disengages from the engaging portion 56.

[0136] In this way, the user can easily detach the medicinal solution administration device 100 from the holder 20 by operating the unlocking member 240 .

[0137] 7 and 8, the unlocking member 240 has a cam pin 244 including a first cam surface 246, and the locking member 260 has a second cam surface 272 with which the first cam surface 246 slides. The first cam surface 246 and the second cam surface 272 convert the movement of the unlocking member 240 relative to the casing 120 in the removal direction X2 into movement of the locking member 260 in the disengagement direction T2.

[0138] By moving the unlocking member 240 in the removal direction X2 in which the chemical solution administration device 100 is removed from the holder 20, the engaging protrusion 276 is released from the engaging portion 56. As can be seen from this, in this case, the removal direction X2 of the chemical solution administration device 100 from the holder 20 coincides with the direction in which the unlocking member 240 is moved to remove the chemical solution administration device 100 from the holder 20. This makes it easy for the user to recognize the movement direction of the unlocking member 240 to release the lock.

[0139] The first cam surface 246 and the second cam surface 272 are inclined surfaces that are inclined toward the disengagement direction T2 as they move from the removal direction X2 toward the attachment direction X1.

[0140] By moving the unlocking member 240 in the removal direction X2, the engaging protrusion 276 of the locking member 260 can be easily removed from the engaging portion 56.

[0141] 1, the casing 120 has a base member 122 including an apparatus-side base portion 124, and a cover member 210 connected to the base member 122. As shown in Fig. 6, the base member 122 has a peripheral wall 134 that is bent in the disengagement direction T2 relative to the apparatus-side base portion 124.

[0142] The cover member 210 has a covering wall 214 that covers the peripheral wall 134 from the outside. The covering wall 214 has an outer wall portion 232 that forms the outer surface of the covering wall 214, an inner wall portion 234 that is located inside the outer wall portion 232, and a pocket-shaped storage space 236 that is formed between the inner wall portion 234 and the outer wall portion 232. The locking member 260 is stored in the storage space 236.

[0143] The locking member 260 is located in the storage space 236 between the inner wall portion 234 and the outer wall portion 232. This prevents the locking member 260 from being exposed in the width direction W of the casing 120. This allows the medicinal solution administration device 100 to be made more compact.

[0144] The locking member 260 has a main body 264 and a leg 261 that protrudes from an end of the main body 264 in the device movement direction X and extends in the engagement direction T1. The engagement protrusion 276 is provided on the leg 261.

[0145] Because the leg portion 261 extends in the engagement direction T1, the engagement protrusion 276 can be provided at a position on the leg portion 261 that allows it to easily engage with the engagement portion 56. That is, with this configuration, the engagement protrusion 276 easily engages with the engagement portion 56.

[0146] The leg portion 261 has a first leg portion 262 protruding from an end portion of the main body portion 264 in the attachment direction X1, and a second leg portion 266 protruding from an end portion of the main body portion 264 in the removal direction X2. The elastic body 290 has a first elastic body 292a that urges the first leg portion 262 in the engagement direction T1, and a second elastic body 292b that urges the second leg portion 266 in the engagement direction T1. The engaging protrusion 276 is provided on the first leg portion 262 or the second leg portion 266.

[0147] Because the first leg 262 is biased by the first elastic body 292a and the second leg 266 is biased by the second elastic body 292b, it is possible to achieve a balance between the biasing force of the first elastic body 292a on the locking member 260 and the biasing force of the second elastic body 292b on the locking member 260. This prevents the locking member 260 from tilting in the engagement direction T1 or the disengagement direction T2 when the engaging protrusion 276 is guided by the holder-side guide portion 52, for example. This allows the engaging protrusion 276 to easily engage with the engaging portion 56.

[0148] The engaging protrusion 276 is positioned closer to the mounting direction X1 than the main body 264 in the device movement direction X, and is positioned closer to the removal direction X2 than the elastic body 290.

[0149] The locking member 260, whose leg portion 261 is biased by the elastic body 290, is prevented from rotating around the leg portion 261, for example. That is, the posture of the locking member 260 is stabilized. This makes it easy for the engaging protrusion 276 to move toward the engaging portion 56. As a result, the engaging protrusion 276 easily engages with the engaging portion 56.

[0150] The present invention is not limited to the above disclosure, and various configurations can be adopted without departing from the gist of the present invention.
