[0001] The present invention relates to a speaker device equipped with a battery unit.
[0002] Various speaker devices have been known in the past. [0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2003-339087
[0004] On the other hand, in recent years, there has been a demand for highly portable speaker devices. It has been considered that portability can be achieved in such speaker devices by providing an internal battery unit that supplies power. In such speaker devices, temperature management of the battery unit, which has low heat resistance, is extremely important.
[0005] The present invention aims to solve at least part of the above problems, and one of its objects is to provide a speaker device equipped with a battery unit that can suppress heat conduction to the battery unit.
[0006] The speaker device of the present invention comprises a housing whose interior is physically divided into two or more spaces, a battery unit provided in a first space of the housing, and an amplifier circuit provided in a second space different from the first space.

FIG. 2 is another schematic diagram showing the configuration of a speaker device according to an embodiment. FIG. 3 is another schematic diagram showing the configuration of a speaker device according to an embodiment. FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram for explaining the flow of air flowing from a bass reflex port into a first space of the speaker device according to an embodiment. FIG. 5 is another schematic diagram for explaining the flow of air flowing from a bass reflex port into a first space of the speaker device according to an embodiment. FIG. 6 is another schematic diagram showing the configuration of a speaker device according to an embodiment. FIG. 7 is another schematic diagram showing the configuration of a speaker device according to an embodiment.
[0008] An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. [General Configuration of Speaker Device] Figures 1 and 2 are schematic diagrams showing the configuration of a speaker device 1 according to this embodiment. As shown in Figure 1, the speaker device 1 according to this embodiment includes a housing 10, a speaker unit 20, a battery section 30, and an amplifier circuit unit 40. In the speaker device 1, power is supplied to each section by the battery section 30, and sound amplified by the amplifier circuit unit 40 is emitted from the speaker unit 20 to the outside of the speaker device 1.
[0009] 1, the interior of the housing 10 is physically divided into two spaces by a wall 11. Of the two spaces, the speaker unit 20 and the battery section 30 are provided in the first space A1, and the amplifier circuit unit 40 is provided in the second space A2.
[0010] Of the wall portions of the housing 10 that cover at least the second space A2, at least the portion that separates the first space A1 from the second space A2 is made of, for example, a material that has a heat insulating effect. In the example of Figures 1 and 2, the wall 11 that separates the first space A1 from the second space A2 is desirably made of a material that has a heat insulating effect.
[0011] 1 and 2, the speaker unit 20 is disposed in the first space A1, in front of the speaker device 1, and on the +Y side of the amplifier circuit unit 40. Details of the speaker unit 20 are similar to those of known technology, and therefore will not be described here. Furthermore, the relative positional relationship between the speaker unit 20 and the amplifier circuit unit 40 is not limited to the example shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
[0012] The battery unit 30 is supported by a support (not shown) in the first space A1, and is supported in a state in which at least a portion of the battery unit 30 is separated from the wall of the first space A1, as shown in Figures 1 and 2. In other words, the battery unit 30 is supported in a state in which at least a portion, and if possible, as much of the battery unit 30 as possible, is not in physical contact with the housing 10.
[0013] The support unit may have any structure. For example, the support unit may be configured to adjust the installation position of the battery unit 30 using a screw boss structure or a frame structure, or may be configured to suspend the battery unit 30 in the first space A1 using a net structure, or may have any other structure.
[0014] 1 and 2, the amplifier circuit unit 40 is disposed in the second space A2 near the rear surface of the speaker device 1 and at a position corresponding to the -Y side of the speaker unit 20. The details of the amplifier circuit unit 40 are similar to those of known technology, and therefore will not be described here.
[0015] Although the battery unit 30 has a rectangular shape in the examples shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, it may have any shape, such as a cylindrical shape.
[0016] 1 and 2, the amplifier circuit unit 40 is known to have a tendency to generate heat. On the other hand, the amplifier circuit unit 40 has a relatively high heat resistance compared to the battery section 30. In contrast, the battery section 30 is known to have a tendency to easily increase in temperature and to have a low heat resistance.
[0017] Therefore, if the amplifier circuit unit 40 generates heat, the heat will be conducted to the battery unit 30, causing the battery unit 30 to heat up and its temperature to rise, or the heat dissipation of the battery unit 30 will be hindered, which may have an adverse effect on the battery unit 30 due to heat resistance issues.
[0018] To solve such problems, the speaker device 1 has a housing 10 whose interior is physically divided into two spaces (A1 and A2), as described above, with the battery section 30 provided in the first space A1 and the amplifier circuit unit 40 provided in the second space A2 different from the first space A1.
[0019] As a result, even if the amplifier circuit unit 40 generates heat due to use of the speaker device 1, the air in the second space A2 in which the amplifier circuit unit 40 is provided functions as an insulating layer, preventing the heat from being conducted to the first space A1 through the housing 10 and the wall 11, and preventing the heat from being conducted to the battery section 30.
[0020] In addition, in the speaker device 1, the battery unit 30 is supported in a state where at least a part of the battery unit 30 is separated from the wall of the first space A1.
[0021] As a result, air can be present around the battery unit 30 in the first space A1, which is expected to improve the heat dissipation effect of the battery unit 30 and suppress temperature rise. Even if heat conduction from the second space A2 occurs, the air around the battery unit 30 functions as a heat insulating layer, preventing heat from being conducted to the battery unit 30.
[0022] Furthermore, in the speaker device 1, of the wall portions of the second space A2, at least the wall 11 which is a portion separating the first space A1 from the second space A2 is made of a material having a heat insulating effect.
[0023] As a result, even if the amplifier circuit unit 40 generates heat due to use of the speaker device 1, the wall portion of the second space A2 functions as an insulator, preventing the heat from being conducted to the first space A1 and the heat from being conducted to the battery section 30.
[0024] [Effects of the embodiment] The speaker device 1 according to the embodiment described above includes a housing 10 whose interior is physically divided into two or more spaces (a first space A1 and a second space A2), a battery section 30 provided in the first space A1 of the housing 10, and an amplifier circuit unit 40 including an amplifier circuit provided in the second space A2 different from the first space A1. With this configuration, in the speaker device 1 including the battery section 30, it is possible to suppress heat conduction to the battery section 30.
[0025] [Modifications of the Embodiments] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and the present invention includes modifications and improvements within the scope of achieving the object of the present invention.
[0026] The speaker device 1 exemplified in the above embodiment may be a bass reflex speaker device. Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram showing a modified example of the speaker device 1 according to the present embodiment.
[0027] As shown in Fig. 3, the speaker device 1 may include a bass reflex port 50. As shown in Fig. 3, the bass reflex port 50 is disposed in the first space A1, with one end thereof disposed in the first space A1 and the other end thereof disposed on the rear surface of the speaker device 1. The bass reflex port 50 circulates air within the first space A1.
[0028] In the speaker device 1, the outside air of the speaker device 1 is circulated within the first space A1 as indicated by the arrow a1 in Fig. 3. At this time, by devising the arrangement of the battery unit 30, it is expected that the cooling effect and heat dissipation effect of the battery unit 30 can be further improved.
[0029] 3 indicates the flow of air that has flowed from the bass reflex port 50 into the first space A1 of the speaker device 1. By arranging the battery unit 30 according to the direction of this arrow a2, the air that has flowed from the bass reflex port 50 into the first space A1 of the speaker device 1 can be efficiently guided to the battery unit 30.
[0030] More specifically, by aligning the normal of a relatively large surface of the surface of the battery unit 30 with the arrow a2 indicating the flow of air flowing from the bass reflex port 50 into the first space A1 of the speaker device 1, it is possible to efficiently guide the air flowing from the bass reflex port 50 into the first space A1 of the speaker device 1 to the battery unit 30. As a result, it is possible to cool the battery unit 30 by the air flowing from the bass reflex port 50 into the first space A1 of the speaker device 1, and it is also possible to realize heat dissipation in the battery unit 30. In particular, it is possible to advantageously utilize the bass reflex port 50 provided in the speaker device 1 to suppress heat conduction to the battery unit 30.
[0031] 4A and 4B are schematic diagrams for explaining the flow of air that has flowed from the bass reflex port 50 into the first space A1 of the speaker device 1. When the normal line of a face with a relatively large area among the surfaces of the battery unit 30 is made to substantially coincide with the arrow a2, as shown in Fig. 4A, a relatively large portion of the air that has flowed from the bass reflex port 50 into the first space A1 of the speaker device 1 can be guided to the surface of the battery unit 30.
[0032] On the other hand, when the normal of a surface of the battery unit 30 with a relatively small area is aligned approximately with the arrow a2, as shown in Figure 4B, a relatively small portion of the air that flows from the bass reflex port unit 50 into the first space A1 of the speaker device 1 is guided to the surface of the battery unit 30.
[0033] Therefore, by devising the arrangement of the battery unit 30 in accordance with the structure of the first space A1, it is possible to expect that the cooling effect and heat dissipation effect of the battery unit 30 can be improved.
[0034] The speaker device 1 exemplified in the above embodiment may be a speaker device having a structure for cooling the amplifier circuit unit 40. Fig. 5 is a schematic diagram showing a modified example of the speaker device 1 according to this embodiment.
[0035] As shown in Fig. 5, the speaker device 1 may include a cooling unit 60 and an air hole 61. As shown in Fig. 5, the cooling unit 60 is disposed in the second space A2, and cools the amplifier circuit unit 40 by a structure such as a fan. Also, as shown in Fig. 5, the air hole 61 is a wall of the second space A2, and is disposed near the back surface of the speaker device 1, and allows air to flow in and out of the second space A2.
[0036] As a result, even if the amplifier circuit unit 40 generates heat due to use of the speaker device 1, the amplifier circuit unit 40 can be cooled by the cooling section 60. Furthermore, even if the amplifier circuit unit 40 generates heat due to use of the speaker device 1, the air hole section 61 can discharge relatively high-temperature air in the second space A2 to the outside of the second space A2. Therefore, even if the amplifier circuit unit 40 generates heat due to use of the speaker device 1, it is possible to prevent the heat from being conducted to the first space A1 and the battery section 30.
[0037] The speaker device 1 illustrated in the above embodiment is merely an example, and the present invention is not limited to this example. For example, although the shape of the housing 10 of the speaker device 1 is rectangular, the housing 10 may have a shape other than rectangular. Furthermore, the speaker device 1 may be a waterproof speaker device.
[0038] Furthermore, in the speaker device 1 exemplified in the above embodiment, the wall 11 has a planar structure, but it may have an uneven structure or other structures.
[0039] In the above embodiment, the battery unit 30 is provided relatively in the upper part of the speaker device 1, but as shown in Fig. 6, the battery unit 30 may be provided relatively in the lower part of the speaker device 1. In addition, the bass reflex port 50 is provided relatively in the lower part of the speaker device 1, but as shown in Fig. 6, a structure similar to the bass reflex port 50 may be provided relatively in the upper part of the speaker device 1.
[0040] In the above embodiment, the bass reflex port 50 has one end disposed within the first space A1 and the other end disposed on the rear surface of the speaker device 1. However, the present invention is not limited to this example. While one end of the bass reflex port 50 is disposed within the first space A1, the other end may be disposed on the front surface of the speaker device 1 or on another surface, as shown in FIG. 7 . In the example of FIG. 7 , as indicated by arrow a3, the outside air of the speaker device 1 is circulated within the first space A1. By positioning the battery 30 in accordance with the direction of arrow a4, which indicates the flow of air flowing from the bass reflex port 50 into the first space A1 of the speaker device 1, the air flowing from the bass reflex port 50 into the first space A1 of the speaker device 1 can be efficiently guided to the battery 30.
[0041] Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above with reference to the accompanying drawings, the present invention is not limited to these examples. It is clear that a person skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains can conceive of various modifications and alterations within the scope of the technical ideas set forth in the claims, and it is understood that these also naturally fall within the technical scope of the present invention.
