[0046] Referring to FIG. 6 , an embodiment of the present application provides a method 600 for playing an alarm message. Method 600 is applied to the network architecture 100 shown in FIG. 1 , FIG. 2 , or FIG. 3 . In this network architecture 100 , a first device is a home gateway. The home gateway communicates with a playback device via a telephone interface, and the home gateway can automatically control the playback device to play a voice alarm message. Method 600 includes the following process.

[0047] Step 601: The home gateway searches for notification information from the network. The notification information includes one or more of the following information: disaster notification information or emergency notification information.

[0048] The home gateway includes a network interface, through which the home gateway is connected to a network and can search for notification information on the network. Optionally, the notification information may be news and / or emergency notices related to disasters posted on the network, or news and / or emergency notices related to emergencies posted on the network.

[0049] Step 602: The home gateway generates voice alarm information based on the notification information.

[0050] The voice warning information is a voice message, and the content of the voice warning information is content related to the disaster and / or emergency. In step 602, the notification information may be a text message, and the notification information is converted into a voice message to obtain the voice warning information.

[0051] Step 603: The home gateway checks the device type of the playback device. If the device type is a telephone, the home gateway executes step 604. If the device type is a speaker, the home gateway executes step 610.

[0052] The telephone interface included in the home gateway can check the device type of the playback device by checking the circuit communicating with the telephone interface.

[0053] In step 603, the home gateway checks the type of circuit communicating with the telephone interface through the telephone interface. If the circuit type communicating with the telephone interface is a ringing circuit, the home gateway determines that the device type of the playback device is a telephone, which includes a ringing circuit communicating with the telephone interface. If the circuit type communicating with the telephone interface is a power amplifier circuit, the home gateway determines that the device type of the playback device is a speaker, which includes a power amplifier circuit communicating with the telephone interface.

[0054] Step 604: The home gateway sends an alarm ringing signal to the telephone through the telephone interface. The alarm ringing signal is used to instruct the telephone to play an alarm siren sound.

[0055] The alarm ringing signal is a signal simulating an alarm sound and can be stored locally in the home gateway in advance.

[0056] In step 604, the home gateway obtains the alarm ringing signal stored locally in the home gateway, and sends the alarm ringing signal to the telephone through the telephone interface.

[0057] Step 605: The telephone receives the alarm ringing signal and plays an alarm siren sound based on the alarm ringing signal.

[0058] In step 605, the ringing circuit of the telephone receives the alarm ringing signal and plays an alarm whistle sound based on the alarm ringing signal.

[0059] Step 606: When the duration of the alarm siren played by the telephone reaches a duration threshold, the home gateway sends a hands-free start signal to the telephone through the telephone interface.

[0060] In step 606, when the home gateway sends the alarm ringing signal to the phone, the home gateway starts a timer. When the timer reaches a duration threshold, the home gateway determines that the duration of the alarm siren played by the phone has reached the duration threshold and sends a hands-free start signal to the phone through the phone interface.

[0061] Step 607: The phone receives the hands-free activation signal, enters the hands-free mode based on the hands-free activation signal, and sends an off-hook notification message to the home gateway.

[0062] The off-hook notification message is used to notify the home gateway that the phone has entered the hands-free mode. When the phone sends the off-hook notification message, the phone stops the ringing circuit included in the phone from playing the alarm whistle based on the alarm ringing signal.

[0063] Step 608: The home gateway receives the off-hook notification message through the telephone interface, and based on the off-hook notification message, sends a voice alarm message to the telephone through the telephone interface.

[0064] In step 608, the home gateway receives the off-hook notification message via the telephone interface, and based on the off-hook notification message, determines that the phone has entered hands-free mode and that the phone can be used to play the voice alarm message. Therefore, the home gateway sends the voice alarm message to the phone via the telephone interface.

[0065] Step 609: The phone receives the voice warning information, plays the voice warning information, and ends.

[0066] In addition to the ringing circuit, the telephone also includes a speaker. In step 609, the telephone receives the voice warning information and plays the voice warning information through the speaker, so that after hearing the voice warning information, the user can make necessary preparations or take actions when a disaster or emergency occurs.

[0067] Step 610: The home gateway sends a voice alarm message to the speaker device through the telephone interface.

[0068] The home gateway communicates with the speaker device via the telephone interface. In step 610, the home gateway sends a voice alarm message to the speaker device via the telephone interface.

[0069] Step 611: The speaker device receives the voice alarm information and plays the voice alarm information.

[0070] The speaker device includes a power amplifier circuit and a speaker. In step 611, the power amplifier circuit receives the voice warning message, amplifies the power of the voice warning message, and transmits the amplified voice warning message to the speaker of the speaker device. The amplified voice warning message is then played back through the speaker of the speaker device. After hearing the voice warning message, the user can take necessary preparations or take appropriate actions in the event of a disaster or emergency.

[0071] In an embodiment of the present application, a home gateway searches the network for notification information related to disasters or emergencies and generates a voice alarm based on the notification. When the playback device communicating with the home gateway is a telephone, the home gateway sends an alarm ringing signal to the telephone, causing it to play an alarm siren to simulate an alarm sound. When the length of time the telephone plays the alarm siren reaches a threshold, the home gateway sends a hands-free activation signal to the telephone, causing it to enter hands-free mode. The home gateway then sends a voice alarm to the telephone, causing it to play the voice alarm in hands-free mode. This allows the telephone to automatically play the voice alarm hands-free, improving playback efficiency. Alternatively, when the playback device communicating with the home gateway is a speaker, the home gateway sends the voice alarm to the speaker, causing it to play the voice alarm. This allows the voice alarm to be automatically played, improving playback efficiency.

[0072] Referring to Figure 7 , an embodiment of the present application provides a method 700 for playing an alarm message. Method 700 is applied to the network architecture 100 shown in Figure 4 . In this network architecture 100 , the first device is a home gateway, and the playback devices communicating with the home gateway include a telephone and a speaker device. The home gateway communicates with the telephone via a first telephone interface and with the speaker device via a second telephone interface. The home gateway can select a playback device and automatically control the selected playback device to play the voice alarm message. Method 700 includes the following process.

[0073] Steps 701-702: are the same as steps 601-602 and will not be described in detail here.

[0074] Step 703: The home gateway selects a playback device. When the selected playback device includes a telephone, step 704 is executed. When the selected playback device includes a speaker device, step 710 is executed.

[0075] The home gateway can select a currently idle playback device.

[0076] Optionally, when both the phone and the speaker are idle, the phone or the speaker may be selected first; or, the phone and the speaker may be selected.

[0077] When the phone is idle and the speaker device is busy, the phone can be selected. For example, when the phone is idle and the speaker device is playing music or other audio information, the home gateway can select the phone. Or,

[0078] When the speaker device is idle and the phone is busy, the speaker device can be selected. For example, when the speaker device is idle and the phone is on a call, the home gateway can select the speaker device.

[0079] Step 704: The home gateway sends an alarm ringing signal to the telephone through the first telephone interface. The alarm ringing signal is used to instruct the telephone to play an alarm siren sound.

[0080] The alarm ringing signal is a signal simulating an alarm sound and can be stored locally in the home gateway in advance.

[0081] In step 704, the home gateway obtains the alarm ringing signal stored locally in the home gateway, and sends the alarm ringing signal to the telephone through the first telephone interface.

[0082] Step 705: The telephone receives the alarm ringing signal and plays an alarm siren sound based on the alarm ringing signal.

[0083] In step 705, the ringing circuit of the telephone receives the alarm ringing signal and plays an alarm whistle sound based on the alarm ringing signal.

[0084] Step 706: When the duration of the alarm siren played by the telephone reaches a duration threshold, the home gateway sends a hands-free start signal to the telephone through the first telephone interface.

[0085] In step 706, when the home gateway sends the alarm ringing signal to the phone, the home gateway starts a timer. When the timer reaches a duration threshold, the home gateway determines that the duration of the alarm siren played by the phone has reached the duration threshold and sends a hands-free start signal to the phone via the first telephone interface.

[0086] Step 707: The phone receives the hands-free activation signal, enters the hands-free mode based on the hands-free activation signal, and sends an off-hook notification message to the home gateway.

[0087] The off-hook notification message is used to notify the home gateway that the phone has entered the hands-free mode. When the phone sends the off-hook notification message, the phone stops the ringing circuit included in the phone from playing the alarm whistle based on the alarm ringing signal.

[0088] Step 708: The home gateway receives the off-hook notification message through the first telephone interface, and based on the off-hook notification message, sends a voice alarm message to the telephone through the first telephone interface.

[0089] In step 708, the home gateway receives the off-hook notification message via the first telephone interface, and based on the off-hook notification message, determines that the phone has entered the hands-free mode and that the phone can be used to play the voice alarm message. Therefore, the home gateway sends the voice alarm message to the phone via the first telephone interface.

[0090] Step 709: The phone receives the voice warning information, plays the voice warning information, and ends.

[0091] In addition to the ringing circuit, the telephone also includes a speaker. In step 709, the telephone receives the voice warning information and plays the voice warning information through the speaker, so that after hearing the voice warning information, the user can make necessary preparations or take actions when a disaster or emergency occurs.

[0092] Step 710: The home gateway sends a voice alarm message to the speaker device through the second telephone interface.

[0093] The home gateway communicates with the speaker device via the second telephone interface. In step 710, the home gateway sends a voice alarm message to the speaker device via the second telephone interface.

[0094] Step 711: The speaker device receives the voice alarm information and plays the voice alarm information.

[0095] The speaker device includes an amplifier circuit and a speaker. In step 711, the amplifier circuit receives the voice warning message, amplifies the voice warning message, and transmits the amplified voice warning message to the speaker of the speaker device. The amplified voice warning message is then played back through the speaker of the speaker device. After hearing the voice warning message, the user can take necessary preparations or take appropriate actions in the event of a disaster or emergency.

[0096] When the playback devices selected by the home gateway include a telephone and a speaker device, the home gateway executes the above-mentioned processes of steps 704 to 709 as well as the above-mentioned processes of steps 710 and 711.

[0097] In an embodiment of the present application, the home gateway searches the network for notification information related to disasters or emergencies and generates a voice alarm message based on the notification information. When a telephone is selected to report an alarm, the home gateway sends an alarm ringing signal to the telephone, causing the telephone to play an alarm siren to simulate an alarm sound. When the length of time the telephone plays the alarm siren reaches a duration threshold, the home gateway sends a hands-free start signal to the telephone to put the telephone into hands-free mode, and then sends a voice alarm message to the telephone to cause the telephone to play the voice alarm message in hands-free mode. In this way, the telephone automatically plays the voice alarm message hands-free, improving playback efficiency. Alternatively, when a speaker device is selected to report an alarm, a voice alarm message is sent to the speaker device to cause the speaker device to play the voice alarm message. In this way, the voice alarm message is automatically played, improving playback efficiency.

[0098] Referring to Figure 8 , an embodiment of the present application provides a method 800 for playing an alarm message. Method 800 is applied to the network architecture 100 shown in Figure 5 . In this network architecture 100 , the first device is a telephone switch, which communicates with at least one telephone via at least one telephone interface. A home gateway can automatically control the at least one telephone to play a voice alarm message. Method 800 includes the following process.

[0099] Step 801: The telephone exchange searches for notification information from the network. The notification information includes one or more of the following information: disaster notification information or emergency notification information.

[0100] The telephone switch includes a network interface, through which the telephone switch is connected to a network and can search the network for notification information. Optionally, the notification information may be news and / or emergency notices related to disasters posted on the network, or news and / or emergency notices related to emergencies posted on the network.

[0101] Step 802: The telephone exchange generates voice alarm information based on the notification information.

[0102] The voice warning information is a voice message, and the content of the voice warning information is the content related to the disaster and / or emergency. In step 802, the notification information may be a text message, and the telephone switch converts the notification information into a voice message to obtain the voice warning information.

[0103] Step 803: The telephone exchange sends an alarm ringing signal to the at least one telephone through the at least one telephone interface, where the alarm ringing signal is used to instruct the at least one telephone to play an alarm siren sound. The at least one telephone includes the first telephone.

[0104] The alarm ringing signal is a signal that simulates the sound of an alarm and can be stored locally in the telephone exchange in advance.

[0105] In step 803, the telephone switch obtains the alarm ringing signal stored locally in the telephone switch, and sends the alarm ringing signal to the at least one telephone through the at least one telephone interface.

[0106] For ease of description, any one of the at least one telephone is referred to as a first telephone, and a telephone interface in the telephone exchange that communicates with the first telephone is referred to as a first telephone interface. The telephone exchange transmits the alarm ringing signal to the first telephone via the first telephone interface.

[0107] Step 804: The first telephone receives the alarm ringing signal and plays an alarm siren sound based on the alarm ringing signal.

[0108] In step 804, the ringing circuit of the first telephone receives the alarm ringing signal and plays an alarm siren sound based on the alarm ringing signal.

[0109] For each of the other telephones, like the first telephone, after receiving the alarm ringing signal, each of the other telephones plays the alarm whistle sound based on the alarm ringing signal.

[0110] Step 805: When the duration of the at least one telephone playing the alarm siren sound reaches a duration threshold, the telephone switch sends a hands-free start signal to the at least one telephone through the at least one telephone interface.

[0111] In step 805, when the telephone exchange sends the alarm ringing signal to the at least one telephone, the telephone exchange starts a timer. When the timer reaches a duration threshold, the telephone exchange determines that the duration of the at least one telephone playing the alarm siren has reached the duration threshold and sends a hands-free activation signal to the at least one telephone via the at least one telephone interface.

[0112] Step 806: The first telephone receives the hands-free activation signal, enters the hands-free mode based on the hands-free activation signal, and sends an off-hook notification message to the telephone switch.

[0113] The off-hook notification message is used to notify the telephone exchange that the first telephone has entered the hands-free mode. When the first telephone sends the off-hook notification message, the ringing circuit included in the first telephone stops playing the alarm whistle based on the alarm ringing signal.

[0114] For each of the other telephones, like the first telephone, when receiving the hands-free start signal, each of the other telephones enters the hands-free mode based on the hands-free start signal and sends an off-hook notification message to the telephone switch.

[0115] Step 807: The telephone switch receives at least one off-hook notification message sent by the at least one telephone through the at least one telephone interface, and sends a voice alarm message to the at least one telephone through the at least one telephone interface based on the at least one off-hook notification message.

[0116] In step 807, the telephone exchange receives the off-hook notification message sent by the first telephone via the first telephone interface. Based on the off-hook notification message, the exchange determines that the first telephone has entered hands-free mode and that the first telephone is ready to play the voice alarm message. Therefore, the exchange sends the voice alarm message to the first telephone via the first telephone interface.

[0117] For each of the other telephones, like the first telephone, the telephone switch determines that each of the other telephones has entered hands-free mode and that each of the other telephones can be used to play the voice alarm information based on the off-hook notification message sent by each of the other telephones, and then sends the voice alarm information to each of the other telephones.

[0118] Step 808: The first telephone receives the voice alarm information and plays the voice alarm information.

[0119] The first telephone includes a speaker in addition to a ringing circuit. In step 808, the first telephone receives the voice warning message and plays the voice warning message through the speaker, so that after hearing the voice warning message, the user can make necessary preparations or take actions when a disaster or emergency occurs.

[0120] For each of the other telephones, like the first telephone, when receiving the voice alarm information, each of the other telephones plays the voice alarm information.

[0121] In an embodiment of the present application, a telephone exchange searches the network for notification information related to disasters or emergencies and generates a voice alert based on this notification information. The exchange then sends an alarm ringing signal to each telephone, causing it to play an alarm siren to simulate an alarm sound. When the duration of the alarm siren playing on each telephone reaches a threshold, the exchange sends a hands-free activation signal to each telephone, causing it to enter hands-free mode. The exchange then sends a voice alert to each telephone, causing it to play the voice alert in hands-free mode. This allows for automatic hands-free playback of voice alerts on a batch of telephones, improving playback efficiency.
