Abstract
Description
Methods and electronic devices for providing information
[0001] Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and an electronic device for providing information.
[0002] As internet use becomes more widespread, the e-commerce market is expanding. While the proportion of customers visiting offline stores to purchase products is declining, the proportion of customers purchasing products through e-commerce platforms via computers or smartphones is rapidly increasing.
[0003] Promotions that bundle multiple items together for various reasons, such as inventory management or increased sales, are also on the rise. Conversely, promotions that debundle items and sell them individually are also on the rise. Consequently, controlling and managing information about debundled items requires significant effort and time on the part of users.
[0004] The present disclosure is proposed to address the aforementioned problems, and provides a method and electronic device for providing information. More specifically, the present disclosure may relate to a method and electronic device for providing information regarding the debundling operation of items corresponding to SKUs subject to the debundling operation to a terminal of a worker within a logistics center.
[0005] The technical tasks to be achieved by this embodiment are not limited to the technical tasks described above, and other technical tasks can be inferred from the following embodiments.
[0006] As a technical means for achieving the above-described task, a method for providing information by an electronic device according to a first aspect of the present disclosure may include: a step of identifying a first SKU that is a target of a debundling operation; a step of providing first information about a debundling operation of a first item, the first information including information about a location of a first item corresponding to the first SKU within a logistics center, to a first terminal of a first worker; a step of obtaining, from the first terminal, second information about a result of a debundling operation of the first item into a plurality of second items; and a step of managing, based on the second information, first inventory information about the first SKU within the logistics center and second inventory information about the second SKU corresponding to the second item.
[0007] In one embodiment, the second item may be a single item obtained in response to a debundling operation for the first item, which is an item received in a box unit.
[0008] According to one embodiment, the method of providing information may further comprise the step of determining whether to perform a debundling operation.
[0009] According to one embodiment, the step of determining whether to perform a debundling operation may include the step of determining whether to perform the debundling operation based on whether a predetermined operation is satisfied based on a first quantity of a first item input corresponding to the debundling operation, a second quantity of a second item input corresponding to the debundling operation, and a unit quantity, and the unit quantity may be included in the information for the first SKU as a unit quantity of the second item per box corresponding to the first item.
[0010] According to one embodiment, the step of determining whether to perform a debundling operation may include a step of determining whether to perform the debundling operation by comparing a ratio between a first quantity of a first item within a logistics center and a quantity of a second item within a logistics center and a set first ratio.
[0011] According to one embodiment, the step of determining whether to perform a debundling operation may include a step of determining whether to perform the debundling operation based on price information of the first item, sales volume information of the first item, price information of the second item, and sales volume information of the second item.

[0048] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[0049] FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating a system in which a method for providing information by an electronic device according to various embodiments can be implemented.
[0050] Referring to FIG. 1, a system (10) according to various embodiments may be a system for providing information related to a debundling operation. The system (10) may include an electronic device (100) and a terminal (110). The system (10) illustrated in FIG. 1 only illustrates components related to the present embodiment. Therefore, those skilled in the art will understand that, in addition to the components illustrated in FIG. 1, other general-purpose components may be included.
[0051] Each of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) may include a transceiver, storage, and a processor. In addition, each of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) refers to a unit that processes at least one function or operation, which may be implemented by hardware, software, or a combination of hardware and software. Meanwhile, throughout the embodiments, each of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) is referred to as a separate device or server, but this may be a logically divided structure, and at least some of them may be implemented by a separate function in one device or server.
[0052] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) may include a plurality of computer systems or computer software implemented as network servers. For example, at least some of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) may refer to a computer system and computer software that are connected to a lower device that can communicate with other network servers through a computer network such as an intranet or the Internet, receive a task execution request, perform the task accordingly, and provide the execution result. In addition, at least some of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) may be understood as a broad concept that includes a series of application programs that can operate on a network server, and various databases built on other internal or connected nodes. For example, at least some of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) may be implemented using a network server program that is variously provided according to an operating system such as DOS, Windows, Linux, UNIX, or MacOS.
[0053] The electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) can communicate with each other through a network (not shown). The network includes a local area network (LAN), a wide area network (WAN), a value-added network (VAN), a mobile radio communication network, a satellite communication network, and a combination thereof, and is a comprehensive data communication network that allows each network component shown in FIG. 1 to communicate smoothly with each other, and may include wired Internet, wireless Internet, and mobile radio communication networks. Wireless communication may include, but is not limited to, wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth, Bluetooth low energy, Zigbee, Wi-Fi Direct (WFD), ultra wideband (UWB), infrared communication (IrDA, infrared Data Association), NFC (Near Field Communication), etc., for example.
[0054] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) identifies a first SKU that is a target of a debundling operation, provides first information about a debundling operation of the first item, which includes information about the location of a first item corresponding to the first SKU within a logistics center, to a first terminal of a first worker, obtains second information about a result of a debundling operation of the first item into a plurality of second items from the first terminal, and manages first inventory information about the first SKU within the logistics center and second inventory information about the second SKU corresponding to the second item based on the second information. Here, the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) may be a unique code for identifying an item within the logistics center. For example, the first SKU may be a unique code for identifying the first item that is a target of the debundling operation, and the second SKU may be a unique code for identifying the second item that is a result of the debundling operation.
[0055] In this specification, the first SKU may be the unique code of an item that is the target of the debundling operation, and the second SKU may be the unique code of an item that is the result of the debundling operation. In this specification, the first item is the item that is the target of the debundling operation and may be an item within a logistics center identified based on the first SKU. In addition, the second item is the item that is the result of the debundling operation and may be an item within a logistics center identified based on the second SKU.
[0056] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) may be a server that manages a debundling operation for items within a logistics center and manages inventory information of SKUs related to the debundling operation, and performs the debundling operation and inventory information management operations.
[0057] In one embodiment, a debundling operation may be an operation of decomposing a first item corresponding to a first SKU of a larger quantity unit into a second item corresponding to a second SKU of a smaller quantity unit. The debundling operation may be referred to as a box breaking operation. For example, a first item may include a first quantity (e.g., 10) of item A, and a second item may include a second quantity (e.g., 2) of individual items of item A. In another example, a first item may include a first quantity (e.g., 10) of item A and item B, and a second item may include a second quantity (e.g., 2) of item A and item B. In this case, the second quantity may be a divisor of the first quantity. To ensure that items corresponding to user orders through e-commerce services can be efficiently picked from the picking area within a logistics center, the debundling operation may involve disassembling a first item into a second item in a minimum quantity unit (e.g., individual units). In this context, the second item in this specification may be an individual unit item obtained in response to the debundling operation for a first item, which is an item delivered in box units, but is not limited thereto.
[0058] In one embodiment, the first SKU may be an SKU corresponding to an item received in a box unit from a vendor. The vendor may not deliver items individually, but rather only deliver items bundled with multiple individual items. In this regard, to expand the customer's selection of items, a debundling operation may be performed on the first item at a logistics center. The second item may be an individual item obtained by performing a debundling operation on the first item, which is a bundle of multiple individual items. For example, if the first item corresponds to a box of cookies containing ten cookies, the second item may correspond to an individual cookie bag.
[0059] According to one embodiment, the first information may include information provided to the worker of the terminal (110) in relation to the debundling operation. For example, the first information may include at least one of information regarding the location of the first item, information regarding the third quantity of the first item assigned to the first worker, information regarding the fourth quantity of the second item assigned to the first worker, information regarding the unit quantity of the second item per box corresponding to the first item, information regarding the operation location where the debundling operation is performed, and information regarding the location where the second item is to be displayed. Here, the third quantity of the first item may be the quantity of the first item to be dismantled by the debundling operation, and the fourth quantity of the second item may be the quantity of the second item to be acquired by the debundling operation. The information regarding the location of the first item may include information regarding the location of the first item that is the target of the debundling operation. Additionally, information about the location where the second item will be displayed may include information about the location where it will be displayed within the logistics center after the debundling operation is performed.
[0060] According to one embodiment, the second information may include result information regarding a debundling operation performed by an operator of the terminal (110). For example, the second information may include at least one of information regarding a first item for which a debundling operation was performed, information regarding a second item for which a debundling operation was performed, information regarding a fourth location within the picking area where the second item for which the debundling operation was performed is displayed, and error information related to the unit quantity. Here, the information regarding the first item may include information regarding the quantity of the first item actually debundled by the debundling operation and information regarding the location of the first item actually debundled. In addition, the information regarding the second item may include information regarding the quantity of the second item actually obtained by the debundling operation and information regarding the location of the second item actually obtained.
[0061] Figure 2 is a flowchart illustrating how an electronic device provides information.
[0062] Referring to FIG. 2, it can be clearly understood that some of the operations in which the electronic device provides information may be changed or substituted, or some of the order between the operations may be changed, within a scope clearly understood by a person having ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention pertains.
[0063] In step S210, the electronic device (100) can confirm the first SKU that is the target of the debundling operation.
[0064] According to one embodiment, the first SKU may be a unique code corresponding to a first item that is the target of the debundling operation, and the first item that is the target of the debundling operation may be an item that is received in a box unit. In addition, the second SKU may be a unique code corresponding to a second item that is the result of the debundling operation, and the second item that is the result of the debundling operation may be an individual item that is acquired in response to the debundling operation for the first item that is received in a box unit.
[0065] According to one embodiment, a debundling operation for a first item may be selectively performed based on various information. In this regard, the electronic device may determine whether to perform the debundling operation for the first item. A specific embodiment of determining whether to perform the debundling operation for the first item is described in FIG. 3.
[0066] In step S220, the electronic device (100) may provide first information about a debundling operation of the first item, which includes information about the location of the first item corresponding to the first SKU within the logistics center, to the first terminal of the first worker.
[0067] As discussed, the first information may include information provided to the operator of the terminal (110) in relation to the debundling operation. Information regarding the location of the first item may include information regarding the location of the first item within the logistics center.
[0068] In one embodiment, the location of the first item may be identified as a different area within the logistics center based on whether a receiving operation has been performed on the first item. Whether a receiving operation has been performed may be determined based on whether a barcode has been assigned to an item for which an unloading operation has been completed. According to the receiving procedure, an item for which a purchase has been completed from a vendor may be assigned a barcode (e.g., an RCRT barcode), and thus, the electronic device (100) may determine whether a receiving operation has been performed on the item based on whether the item has an RCRT barcode. A first item for which a receiving operation has not been performed may be an item located in an unloading area within the logistics center. Conversely, a first item for which a receiving operation has been performed may be an item located in a picking area within the logistics center.
[0069] In step S230, the electronic device (100) can obtain second information about the result of the task of debundling the first item into a plurality of second items from the first terminal.
[0070] In step S240, the electronic device (100) can manage first inventory information for a first SKU within the logistics center and second inventory information for a second SKU corresponding to a second item based on the second information.
[0071] As discussed, the second information may include result information for a debundling operation performed by a worker of the terminal (110).
[0072] According to one embodiment, the first inventory information for the first SKU within the logistics center may be decreased by the quantity of the first item for which the debundling operation was performed, and the second inventory information for the second SKU within the logistics center may be increased by the quantity according to a product operation based on the quantity and unit quantity of the first item for which the debundling operation was performed. That is, the electronic device (100) may effectively manage the inventory of the first SKU and the second SKU within the logistics center based on the second information acquired from the first terminal.
[0073] According to one embodiment, the unit quantity may be the individual quantity of the second item per box corresponding to the first item. In this regard, information about the unit quantity may be included in information about the first SKU. However, the unit quantity identified by the electronic device (100) may be incorrectly entered due to various circumstances, such as an error that occurred when the vendor bundled the individual second item into the first item, or an error in the unit quantity entered on the purchase order provided by the vendor. Accordingly, there may be a difference between the incorrectly entered unit quantity identified by the electronic device (100) and the unit quantity actually confirmed through the debundling operation. In this case, the incorrectly entered unit quantity may require readjustment. The error information related to the unit quantity included in the second information may indicate that the unit quantity identified by the electronic device (100) is different from the unit quantity actually confirmed through the debundling operation. At this time, the electronic device (100) can update the incorrectly entered unit quantity to the unit quantity actually confirmed through the debundling process. Furthermore, the electronic device (100) can provide error information to the supplier of the first item. Accordingly, the electronic device (100) can re-receive a purchase order containing information on the corrected unit quantity from the supplier.
[0074] Figure 3 is a flowchart illustrating a method in which an electronic device and a terminal transmit and receive information related to a debundling operation.
[0075] Referring to FIG. 3, it can be clearly understood that some operations of the electronic device (100) and the terminal (110) transmitting and receiving information related to the debundling operation may be changed or substituted, or some of the order between the operations may be changed, within a scope clearly understandable to a person of ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention pertains. A detailed description of the overlapping content between steps S310 to S350 and steps S210 to S240 will be omitted.
[0076] In step S310, the electronic device (100) can determine whether to perform a debundling operation of the first item.
[0077] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) may determine whether to perform the debundling operation based on whether a predetermined operation based on a first quantity of a first item input corresponding to the debundling operation, a second quantity of a second item input corresponding to the debundling operation, and a unit quantity is satisfied. Here, the first quantity of the first item may be a quantity input into the system corresponding to the debundling operation, and the second quantity of the second item may be a quantity input into the system corresponding to the debundling operation. In addition, the predetermined operation may be a product operation based on the first quantity and the unit quantity, and the electronic device (100) may determine whether to perform the debundling operation based on whether a result value of the product operation matches the second quantity. Specifically, since a result value of the product operation matches the second quantity may indicate that there is no error in the quantity input into the system, the electronic device (100) may determine whether to perform the debundling operation. Conversely, a discrepancy between the result of the multiplication operation and the second quantity may indicate an error in the quantity entered into the system, and thus the electronic device (100) may determine that the debundling operation is not performed. In this case, the unit quantity may be the individual quantity of the second item per box corresponding to the first item entered into the system, rather than the unit quantity actually confirmed by the operator.
[0078] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) can determine whether to perform a debundling operation by comparing a ratio between a first quantity of a first item in a logistics center and a quantity of a second item in the logistics center and a set first ratio. In terms of efficiency of inventory management, the quantity of the first item in the logistics center and the quantity of the second item in the logistics center can be appropriately adjusted according to the debundling operation. For example, if the set ratio is 0.2, the first quantity is 100, and the second quantity is 1000, the ratio between the first quantity and the second quantity can be determined as 0.1, which is the first quantity divided by the second quantity. In this case, since the ratio between the first quantity and the second quantity is less than the set ratio, the electronic device (100) can determine not to perform the debundling operation. As another example, if the set ratio is 0.2, the first quantity is 300, and the second quantity is 1000, the ratio between the first quantity and the second quantity can be determined as 0.3, which is the first quantity divided by the second quantity. In this case, since the ratio between the first quantity and the second quantity is greater than the set ratio, the electronic device (100) can decide to perform the debundling operation.
[0079] Here, the first ratio can be dynamically set based on information about the first item and information about the second item. Specifically, the first ratio can be determined based on price information for the first item, sales volume information for the first item, price information for the second item, sales volume information for the second item, order information for the first item, and order information for the second item. For example, the higher the price of the second item, the higher the sales volume of the second item, and the more user orders for the second item, the lower the first ratio can be set.
[0080] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) may determine whether to perform a debundling operation based on whether the debundling operation is beneficial. Whether the debundling operation is beneficial may be determined based on price information of a first item, sales volume information of the first item, price information of a second item, and sales volume information of the second item. For example, the first value may be a value obtained by subtracting the purchase price of the first item from the sales price of the first item, and the second value may be a value obtained by subtracting the purchase price of the second item from the sales price of the second item and the cost of the debundling operation for the second item. In this case, a value obtained by dividing the second value by the unit quantity greater than the first value may indicate that the benefit of selling the second item individually is greater than that of selling the first item. In other words, when the value obtained by dividing the second value by the unit quantity greater than the first value is greater, the electronic device (100) may determine that the debundling operation is beneficial. As another example, when the sales volume of the second item is greater than the sales volume of the first item, the electronic device (100) can determine that there is a benefit of the debundling operation.
[0081] According to various embodiments, if it is determined that the debundling operation of the first item will be performed, the electronic device (100) may provide the first information to the terminal (110) of the first worker. Conversely, if it is determined that the debundling operation of the first item will not be performed, the electronic device (100) may re-determine whether to perform the debundling operation of the first item after a set period of time (e.g., 1 day).
[0082] In step S320, the electronic device (100) can provide first information to the terminal (110) of the first worker.
[0083] According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) can identify a worker suitable for performing a debundling task. For example, the electronic device (100) can identify a first worker among workers based on information on the work status of workers within the logistics center, information on the workers' locations, information on the work locations, and information on the location of a first item within the logistics center. More specifically, among workers whose time required to complete the currently performed task is within a set time (e.g., 30 minutes), the worker who has the shortest movement distance for performing the debundling task can be identified as the first worker. In this case, the electronic device (100) can transmit a notification regarding the first information on the debundling task to the first worker.
[0084] In step S330, the first worker of the terminal (110) can perform a debundling operation based on the first information.
[0085] According to one embodiment, a first worker may perform a debundling operation including at least one of: i) a first operation of collecting a third quantity of first items within a logistics center; ii) a second operation of moving the collected third quantity of first items to a work location; iii) a third operation of obtaining a fourth quantity of second items by performing a debundling operation on the first items at the work location; and iv) a fourth operation of moving the fourth quantity of second items to a location within a picking area. Here, the working location may be a location where a work of obtaining individual second items by disassembling boxes corresponding to the first items is performed, and the location within the picking area may be a location where individual second items are displayed. The work of debundling boxes corresponding to the first items may be performed by a specific worker within the working location, but is not limited thereto.
[0086] In relation to the first task, the first worker can selectively collect a third quantity of first items from among a plurality of first items within the logistics center. Specifically, the first worker can i) scan the barcode of a tote containing the first items, ii) scan the barcode for the location of the first items and the barcode of the first items located at the corresponding location, iii) input the quantity of the collected first items into the interface, and iv) put the input quantity of the first items whose barcodes have been scanned into the tote. Accordingly, the electronic device (100) can identify the tote from which the first items are collected. In addition, the electronic device (100) can confirm the location of each of the collected third quantity of first items based on the barcode information for the location, the information about the barcode of the first items, and the information about the quantity of the first items input through the interface.
[0087] In connection with the second task, the first worker may move a third quantity of the first items contained in the tote to a work location. Specifically, the first worker may i) scan a barcode for the work location, and ii) place the third quantity of the first items contained in the tote to the work location. Accordingly, the electronic device (100) may confirm that the third quantity of the first items has been moved to the work location.
[0088] In relation to the third task, the first worker can obtain the fourth quantity of the second item by performing a debundling task. Specifically, the first worker can i) scan a barcode for the work location where the box breaking task is performed, and ii) scan a barcode of the second item for which the box breaking task has been completed. Accordingly, the electronic device (100) can confirm that the box breaking task has been completed for the second item at the work location, and can provide the first worker with an interface for inputting the quantity and unit quantity of the first item for which the box has been debundled, and the expiration date of the second item. The first worker can iii) input the quantity and unit quantity of the first item for which the box has been debundled, and the expiration date of the second item into the interface. At this time, the expiration date input into the interface may be, but is not limited to, the expiration date of the second item with the closest expiration date among the fourth quantity of second items.
[0089] In addition, an interface for verifying whether the individual quantity of the second item per box corresponding to the first item on the system matches the actually confirmed unit quantity may also be displayed on the terminal (110) of the first worker. When the individual quantity of the second item per box corresponding to the first item on the system does not match the actually confirmed unit quantity, the first worker may iv) input information about the discrepancy in the unit quantity into the interface. Accordingly, the electronic device (100) may verify whether the individual quantity of the second item per box corresponding to the first item matches the actually confirmed unit quantity based on the input of the first task through the interface.
[0090] In relation to the fourth task, the first worker may display the second item, which is the result of debundling, at a location within the picking area. Specifically, the first worker may i) scan a barcode corresponding to a location within the picking area, ii) scan the barcode of the second item, and iii) display the barcodes of the fourth quantity of the second items at a location within the picking area. Accordingly, the electronic device (100) may confirm that the fourth quantity of the second items has been displayed at a location within the picking area.
[0091] In step S340, the electronic device (100) can obtain second information about the result of the operation of debundling the first item into a plurality of second items.
[0092] In step S350, the electronic device (100) can manage first inventory information for a first SKU and second inventory information for a second SKU within the logistics center.
[0093] Figure 4 is a drawing for explaining a method for managing a debundling operation depending on whether or not an entry operation is performed.
[0094] According to one embodiment, the logistics process procedure in the logistics center (400) may be divided into a receiving procedure and a shipping procedure. More specifically, the receiving procedure may be divided into an unloading procedure, a receiving inspection procedure, and a display procedure. In addition, the shipping procedure may be divided into a picking procedure, a rebinning procedure, and a packing procedure. Zones within the logistics center (400) may also be divided to correspond to the logistics process procedures. For example, the unloading zone (410) may be a zone where the unloading procedure and the receiving inspection procedure are performed during the receiving procedure. In addition, the picking zone (420) may be a zone where the display procedure is performed during the receiving procedure, and the picking procedure and rebinning procedure are performed during the shipping procedure. In addition, the shipping zone (430) may be a zone where the packing procedure is performed during the shipping procedure. Whether the receiving procedure is completed may be determined based on whether a barcode (e.g., an RCRT barcode) is assigned.
[0095] According to one embodiment, for a first item for which no loading operation has been performed, a debundling operation may be performed in the unloading area (410).
[0096] For example, if the unloading procedure is not performed or the current time is before the scheduled unloading time, the first item, which is the object of debundling, may be scheduled to be unloaded at a first location within the unloading zone (410). In this case, the first information may include information about the first location within the unloading zone (410) where the first item is to be unloaded and information about the scheduled unloading time of the first item. The location (411), which is the first location of the unloading zone (410), may be flexibly set according to the logistics process schedule or the company. The first item may be unloaded at the location (411) of the unloading zone (410) via a vehicle (401) associated with the company. As another example, if the unloading procedure has been performed but the display procedure has not yet been performed, or if the current time has arrived at the scheduled unloading time, the first item, which is the object of debundling, may be temporarily located on a platform (e.g., a pallet) within the unloading area (410). In this case, the first information may include information about a second location for the platform (e.g., a pallet) of the vendor corresponding to the first SKU and information about the scheduled unloading time of the first item. The second location in the unloading area (410) may correspond to a dedicated location (413) assigned to the vendor supplying the first item.
[0097] The work location (412) within the unloading area (410) may be a location where debundling work is performed within the unloading area (410). The first worker (414) may be a worker located within the unloading area (410) within the logistics center and may be identified as a worker suitable for performing the debundling work. The second items, each of which has completed the debundling work, may be displayed at a designated location within the picking area (420) by the first worker (414).
[0098] According to one embodiment, for a first item for which the stocking operation has been completed, a debundling operation may be performed in the picking area (420). In this case, information about the location of the first item may include information about a third location within the picking area where the first item is displayed.
[0099] A buffer location (421) within a picking area (420) may be a location where items that have been cancelled due to a user's order cancellation or items corresponding to inventory surplus for smooth logistics movement are located. Since the buffer location (421) may be a key point within a logistics center (400), the first SKU corresponding to the first item located at the buffer location (421) may be the first SKU recommended as the first priority to the first worker (425). Referring to FIG. 4, the buffer location (421) is shown as being located within the picking area (420), but is not limited thereto. For example, the buffer location (421) may be a separate area distinct from the picking area (420).
[0100] A location (422) within the picking area (420) may be a location where a first item for which the receiving process has been completed is displayed, and the item may be displayed on a pallet platform. Additionally, a location (423) within the picking area (420) may be a location where a first item for which the receiving process has been completed is displayed, and the item may be displayed on a bin box platform. Considering the movement path along which the debundling process is performed, the first item displayed on the pallet platform may be assigned a higher collection priority than the first item displayed on the bin box platform. In other words, the first SKU corresponding to the first item displayed on the pallet platform may be a first SKU recommended as the second priority, and the first SKU corresponding to the first item displayed on the bin box platform may be a first SKU recommended as the third priority.
[0101] The work location (424) within the picking area (420) may be a location where debundling work is performed within the picking area (420). The first worker (425) may be a worker located within the picking area (420) within the logistics center and may be identified as a worker suitable for performing the debundling work. The second items, each of which has completed the debundling work, may be displayed at a designated location within the picking area (420) by the first worker (414).
[0102] Figure 5 is a diagram illustrating an interface for managing information about a debundling operation.
[0103] The interface (500) may be an interface (500) for managing the debundling operation of items within a logistics center and managing inventory information of SKUs related to the debundling operation. Specifically, the interface (500) may be an interface provided to a user of an electronic device (100).
[0104] The first area (501) of the interface (500) may be an area for setting a search filter related to bundling work and debundling work within a logistics center. In addition, the second area (502) of the interface (500) may be an area for setting a search filter related to a period type, period, internal plan number, and status related to bundling work and debundling work within a logistics center. Referring to FIG. 5, in response to a user's input through the first area (501) and the second area (502), the search filter may be set to 'debundling work', 'creation date', '2023-05-16 ~ 2023-05-23', 'none', and 'all'. The third area (503) of the interface (500) may be an area for outputting a work history corresponding to the search filter set through the first area (501) and the second area (502). Referring to FIG. 5, in response to a user's input through the third area (503), information on debundling operations corresponding to internal plan numbers 101, 102, 103, and 104 may be displayed on the interface (500).
[0105] The status column of the interface (500) may display status information for each debundling task. Referring to FIG. 5, a debundling task with an internal plan number of 101 may be an expired task, and a debundling task with an internal plan number of 102 may be a task currently being performed by a specific worker. Additionally, a debundling task with an internal plan number of 103 or 104 may be a task for which debundling has not yet been performed.
[0106] In one embodiment, the debundling task may be divided and performed by two or more workers. For example, the electronic device (100) may divide and assign the debundling task to two or more workers based on the work status information of the workers within the logistics center, the workers' location information, information about the work location, and information about the location of the first item within the logistics center. In another example, the worker performing the debundling task may leave to perform another task, and the debundling task may remain partially performed. As discussed in step S330, the debundling operation may include: i) a first operation of collecting a third quantity of first items within a logistics center; ii) a second operation of moving the collected third quantity of first items to a work location; iii) a third operation of debundling the first items at the work location to obtain a fourth quantity of second items; and iv) a fourth operation of moving the fourth quantity of second items to a location within a picking area. As an example of the debundling operation being divided and performed by two or more workers, the first operation, the second operation, and the third operation may be performed, while the fourth operation may not be performed. In this case, the fourth operation may be assigned to a worker different from the worker performing the first operation, the second operation, and the third operation.
[0107] The fourth area (504) of the interface (500) may be an entry point for moving to an interface displaying detailed information about a debundling operation. Referring to FIG. 5 , in response to a user input via the fourth area (504), an interface displaying detailed information about a debundling operation with internal plan number 102 may be displayed. The interface displaying detailed information about a debundling operation will be described in detail in FIG. 6 .
[0108] Figure 6 is a drawing for explaining an interface that displays detailed information about a debundling operation.
[0109] The interface (600) displays detailed information on a debundling operation within a logistics center and can be provided to a user of the electronic device (100). As described above, in response to a user input via the fourth area (504), an interface displaying detailed information on a debundling operation with internal plan number 102 can be displayed. Accordingly, referring to FIG. 6 , detailed information on a debundling operation with internal plan number 102 can be displayed on the interface (600).
[0110] The first area (601) of the interface (600) may display general information about the debundling operation. Specifically, the first area (601) of the interface (600) may display information about an internal plan number, a plan number, a center code, a creation date, a start date, an end date, a work location work status, and an incoming quantity per box. The work location corresponding to the debundling operation with an internal plan number of 102 may be 14-BU1-1-3. The work location corresponding to the debundling operation with an internal plan number of 102 may be appropriately determined based on the location of the first item, work status information of work locations within the logistics center, and work availability information of work locations within the logistics center. In addition, the incoming quantity per box corresponding to the debundling operation with an internal plan number of 102 may correspond to a unit quantity. That is, the unit quantity corresponding to the first SKU of the debundling operation with an internal plan number of 102 may be 12. Here, the amount of acquisition per box displayed in the first area (601) of the interface (600) can be identified from the detailed information page of the first item. The detailed information page of the corresponding item will be examined in FIG. 7.
[0111] The second area (602) of the interface (600) may display information about the first SKU. Specifically, the second area (602) of the interface (600) may display information about the SKU ID, SKU name, required box quantity, and completed quantity for the first SKU. The required box quantity may be the first quantity of the first item entered in response to the debundling operation having an internal plan number of 102. In addition, the completed quantity may be the quantity that has been debundled by a worker within the logistics center in relation to the debundling operation having an internal plan number of 102. Referring to FIG. 6, the number of boxes for which the debundling operation is planned for the first SKU may be 2, and the number of boxes for which the debundling operation has been completed for the first SKU may be 0.
[0112] The third area (603) of the interface (600) may display information about the second SKU. Specifically, the third area (603) of the interface (600) may display information about the SKU ID, SKU name, unit quantity, and completed quantity for the second SKU. For example, the unit quantity may be the second quantity of the second item entered in response to a debundling operation having an internal plan number of 102. As another example, the unit quantity may be determined as the product of the first quantity of the first item entered in response to the debundling operation and the quantity received per box in the first area (601). The completed quantity may be the quantity that has been debundled by a worker within the logistics center in relation to the debundling operation having an internal plan number of 102. Referring to FIG. 6, the number of individual units for which debundling is planned in relation to the second SKU may be 24, and the number of individual units for which debundling is completed in relation to the second SKU may be 0.
[0113] The fourth area (604) of the interface (600) may display information about the location of the first item within the logistics center.
[0114] According to one embodiment, the order in which information about the location of the first item within the logistics center displayed in the fourth area (604) is displayed may be determined based on i) whether the location of the first item, which is a first condition, is included in a set area within the logistics center, ii) the quantity of the first item for each location of the first item, which is a second condition, and iii) the expiration date of the first item for each location of the first item, which is a third condition. With respect to the order in which information about the location of the first item is displayed on the interface, the first condition may be a condition having priority over the second condition, and the second condition may be a condition having priority over the third condition, but is not limited thereto.
[0115] With respect to the first condition, the location of the first item satisfying the first condition may be displayed at the top of the fourth area (604). The set area may include a buffer location within the logistics center. For example, the buffer location may be a location where an item whose order has been canceled due to a user's order cancellation or an item corresponding to inventory surplus for smooth movement of logistics is located. Referring to FIG. 4, the buffer location may correspond to a buffer location within the picking area (420) of FIG. 4. When there is no location included in the set area among the locations of the first item, information about the locations of the first item may be sorted in the following order: i) the location of the first item corresponding to the pallet platform, and ii) the location of the first item corresponding to the empty box platform. That is, referring to FIG. 4, information about a buffer location (421), information about a location (422) corresponding to a palette platform, and information about a location (423) corresponding to an empty box platform may be displayed on the interface in the order of buffer location (421), location (422), and location (423).
[0116] Regarding the second condition, locations with a large number of first items among the locations of the first item may be displayed at the top of the fourth area (604). The greater the number of first items, the more likely it is that a location can collect a large number of first items at once, making it more efficient in terms of movement paths. In other words, locations with a large number of first items among the locations of the first item may be appropriately displayed at the top of the fourth area (604).
[0117] With respect to the third condition, a location of the first item whose expiration date is approaching among the locations of the first item may be displayed at the top of the fourth area (604). As the expiration date of the first item approaches, collection of the first item located at that location may be required within a shorter period of time. In other words, it may be appropriate to display a location of the first item whose expiration date is approaching among the locations of the first item at the top of the fourth area (604). According to one embodiment, when the first item is included in a specific item category (e.g., a category of items with a short expiration date, such as a fresh product category), the third condition may be set as a condition that takes precedence over the first condition or the second condition.
[0118] According to one embodiment, when a worker to perform a debundling task is determined, the electronic device (100) can identify a recommended location that minimizes the movement distance according to the performance of the debundling task based on the location information of the first terminal, information about the work location, and information about the location of the first item. At this time, the information about the location of the first item displayed in the fourth area (604) can be sorted further based on the recommended location as well as the first condition, the second condition, and the third condition. As an example, the recommended location can be displayed at the top of the fourth area (604). Referring to FIG. 6, a movement path from the current location of the first terminal to the location of the work location via the location having the location barcode 14-10A1-11-2 and the location having the location barcode 14-18-24-100 can be identified as an optimal movement path that minimizes the movement distance. Accordingly, information about a location whose location barcode is 14-10A1-11-2 and information about a location whose location barcode is 14-18-24-100 may be displayed at the top of the fourth area (604). In addition, although not displayed on the interface (600), information about an optimal movement path may be displayed in a separate area different from the first area (601) to the fourth area (604). In addition, the electronic device (100) may transmit first information about a debundling operation including at least one of information about a recommended location and information about a movement path related to the recommended location to the terminal of the determined worker.
[0119] Figure 7 is a drawing for explaining the detailed information page of the first item.
[0120] Page (700) may be a page showing detailed information about an item of a whole grain banana bar with an SKU ID of 203160. Referring to FIG. 7, the detailed information about the item may include various detailed information such as an SKU ID, an SKU name, a product name, a product barcode, and a recommended consumption period.
[0121] Area (701) of the page (700) may display information regarding the unit quantity corresponding to the first SKU. Referring to FIG. 7, an item for a whole grain banana bar having a SKU ID of 203160 may include six individual units of whole grain banana bar. As described above, the information regarding the unit quantity displayed in area (701) of the page (700) may correspond to the quantity per box displayed in the first area (601) of the interface (600).
[0122] Figure 8 is a diagram for explaining the adjustment of first inventory information for a first SKU and second inventory information for a second SKU according to a debundling operation.
[0123] According to one embodiment, the first inventory information for the first SKU within the logistics center may be decreased by the quantity of the first item for which the debundling operation was performed, and the second inventory information for the second SKU within the logistics center may be increased by the quantity based on a product operation of the quantity and unit quantity of the first item for which the debundling operation was performed.
[0124] The first area (801) of the interface (800) may display first inventory information for the first SKU. Specifically, as the debundling operation with the internal plan number 102 of FIG. 6 is performed, two boxes corresponding to the first item may be debundled. Accordingly, the first inventory information for the first SKU within the logistics center may indicate that the quantity of the first item for which the debundling operation was performed is reduced by 2.
[0125] The second area (802) of the interface (800) may display second inventory information for the second SKU. Specifically, as two boxes corresponding to the first item are debundled, 24 second items in individual units may be created. In this case, the quantity of the second items in individual units, 24, may be the result of a product operation based on the quantity of the first item for which the debundling operation was performed, 2, and the unit quantity, 12. Accordingly, the second inventory information for the second SKU within the logistics center may indicate that the quantity of the second item for which the debundling operation was performed is increased by 24.
[0126] FIG. 9 is a block diagram schematically illustrating an electronic device for providing information according to one embodiment.
[0127] The electronic device (100) of FIG. 9 may correspond to the electronic device within the present specification. According to one embodiment, the transceiver (101) may transmit first information about a debundling operation of a first item to a terminal (110) of a first worker. The transceiver (101) may receive second information about the result of the operation of debundling the first item into a plurality of second items from the terminal (110) of the first worker.
[0129] Storage (102) can store information for performing at least one method described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 9. Storage (102) can store one or more commands executed by one or more processors (103). Storage (102) can be referred to as memory and can be volatile memory or non-volatile memory. Storage (102) can include information about a debundling operation, location information of a first item corresponding to a first SKU within a logistics center, inventory information about a SKU within a logistics center, information about a worker's terminal within a logistics center, and detailed information about a first item corresponding to the first SKU within a logistics center.
[0130] One or more processors (103) can control the overall operation of the electronic device (100) and process data and signals. The one or more processors (103) can perform one of the methods described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 9. The one or more processors (103) can be configured as at least one hardware unit. In addition, the one or more processors (103) can operate by one or more software modules generated by executing one or more commands stored in the storage (102). The one or more processors (103) can control embodiments performed by the electronic device (100) through interaction with the transceiver (101) and the storage (102), and further with components that the electronic device (100) may include.
[0131] According to one embodiment, the processor (103) may execute one or more commands to identify a first SKU that is a target of a debundling operation, provide first information about a debundling operation of the first item, which includes information about a location of a first item corresponding to the first SKU within a logistics center, to a first terminal of a first worker, obtain second information about a result of a debundling operation of the first item into a plurality of second items from the first terminal, and manage first inventory information about the first SKU within the logistics center and second inventory information about the second SKU corresponding to the second item based on the second information.
[0132] Meanwhile, the present specification and drawings disclose preferred embodiments of the present invention.
