Abstract
Description
Product sales server and product sales system
[0001] The present invention relates to a system for reselling merchandise purchased through a lottery process.
[0002] In recent years, a lottery process based on a lottery request from a user (so-called gacha) has been used as one form of a product sales system using the Internet. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a system using a lottery process in a buying and selling system for game media used in online games.
[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2021-164838
[0004] In the past, a transaction was conducted in which a purchaser purchased a product that was packaged so that the product's contents could not be identified from the outside, and after purchasing, the purchaser opened the package to check what product they had purchased. In that the purchase was made without knowing the contents, the packaged product can also be considered a transaction conducted through a lottery.
[0005] However, in a buying and selling system using packaged products or a lottery process such as that in Patent Document 1, purchasers may end up purchasing or winning products that they do not need, which can lead to them being unable to dispose of the products and resulting in the disposal of the unwanted products.
[0006] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned circumstances, and its purpose is to enable a purchaser to effectively utilize a product acquired as a result of a lottery purchase even if the product is no longer needed.
[0007] A first aspect of the present invention is a product sales server comprising a lottery sales control unit that accepts a request to purchase a product via a lottery action, and a resale control unit that accepts a request to resell the product purchased via the lottery action.
[0008] Preferably, the merchandise purchased through the lottery action is a merchandise allocated according to the result of the lottery operation. Preferably, the merchandise sales server is managed by a first business operator, and the merchandise sales server further includes a shipping control unit that receives a shipping request for the merchandise purchased through the lottery action, and the shipping control unit receives the merchandise shipping request from a server managed by a second business operator different from the first business operator.
[0009] A second aspect of the present invention is a product sales system including the product sales server, wherein the product sales server is communicatively connected to a lottery operation terminal that purchases products from the product sales server through a lottery action, and a resale purchase terminal that purchases resold products from the products purchased by the lottery operation terminal through the lottery action.
[0010] According to the present invention, even if a purchaser does not need a product that he or she has acquired as a result of a lottery purchase, the product can be effectively utilized.

[0012] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The same reference numerals are used throughout the drawings to designate the same parts, and duplicated explanations will be omitted.
[0013] FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an outline of a commercial transaction to which the lottery product resale system according to this embodiment is applied.
[0014] In FIG. 1, a first site operating company 2 is a management company of a lottery product resale system 100 (see FIG. 2).
[0015] In this embodiment, a product holder 1, such as a manufacturer or wholesaler, delivers products to a first lottery sales site operating company (hereinafter abbreviated as "first site operating company") 2. The products are carried into a product management department (direct sales store, warehouse, etc.) 3 managed by the first site operating company 2 (S1). The first site operating company 2 uploads the delivered products to a website accessible by the product holder 1 (S2). The product holder 1 can confirm on the website that the products have been delivered to the product management department 3.
[0016] FIG. 1 illustrates an example of a "product" that is a tangible object brought into the product management unit 3, but the "product" in this embodiment may also be an intangible product such as digital data. In that case, storage managed and accessed by the first site operating company 2 may be used in place of the product management unit 3. The tangible product may be any type, such as game media such as trading cards printed on paper, clothing, food, alcohol, or fitness equipment. The intangible product may also be game item data used in an online game or NFT data (Non-Fungible Token).
[0017] There may be multiple product holders 1.
[0018] The first site operating company 2 is a company that mainly manages and operates the lottery product resale system 100 (see FIG. 2), and also operates the lottery sales site 21 and the resale site 22.
[0019] The lottery sales site 21 is a site that sells products delivered through a lottery. For example, the product holder 1 may prepare a package containing one or more products stored in the product management unit 3 and put the package up for sale on the lottery sales site 21 as a single sales unit, or may specify a product to be won in a so-called gacha.
[0020] The lottery purchase user 4 accesses the lottery sales site 21 (S3) and enters the lottery. The lottery purchase user 4 pays a fee, enters the lottery, and the winning product is determined. This means that the lottery purchase user 4 has purchased the lottery product (S4). After that, the product is temporarily stored in the product management unit 3, and ownership is transferred to the lottery purchase user 4. In this embodiment, the act of transferring ownership of the product to oneself without moving it from the product management unit 3 is referred to as "adding to (one's) collection."
[0021] If the lottery purchase user 4 finds any unwanted items among the purchased lottery products, he or she puts the unwanted items up for sale on the resale site 22 (S5).
[0022] The resale product purchasing user 5 accesses the resale site 22 (S6) and purchases any items they like (S7). The resale items are then added to the collection of the resale product purchasing user 5. The reprint product purchasing user 5 may also list the resale items in their collection for sale or request shipping to the resale product purchasing user 5 (S8).
[0023] The second lottery sales site operating company (hereinafter referred to as "second site operating company") 6 is a separate business entity from the first site operating company 2, and is the first producer of this lottery product resale system 100 (see Figure 2), as well as operating the lottery sales site 61D under a contract with the first site operating company 2.
[0024] The lottery sales site 61D is a site that sells products delivered through a lottery. For example, the second site operating company 6 may prepare a package filled with one or more products stored in its own store and put the package up for sale on the lottery sales site 61D as a single sales unit, or may specify a product to be won in a so-called gacha.
[0025] The lottery purchase user 7 accesses the lottery sales site 61D (S9) and enters the lottery. The lottery purchase user 7 pays a fee, enters the lottery, and the winning product is determined. This means that the lottery purchase user 7 has purchased the lottery product (S10). After that, the product is temporarily stored in the product management department of the second site operating company 6, and ownership is transferred to the lottery purchase user 7.
[0026] If the lottery purchase user 7 finds any unwanted items among the purchased lottery products, he or she puts the unwanted items up for sale on the resale site 22 of the first site operating company 2 (S11).
[0027] The resale product purchasing user 5 can access the resale site 22 and purchase the item put up for sale by the lottery purchasing user 7. When the resale product purchasing user 5 purchases the item put up for sale by the lottery purchasing user 7, the resale product is added to the collection of the resale product purchasing user 5. The reprint product purchasing user 5 may put up further resale products in his or her collection, or may request shipping to the resale product purchasing user 5.
[0028] When a lottery purchase user 7 or a resale product purchase user 5 requests the shipping of a product sold by the second site operating company 6, the second site operating company 6 delivers the product to the first site operating company 2. The product delivered to the first site operating company 2 is carried into a product management department (direct sales store, warehouse, etc.) 3 managed by the first site operating company 2 (S12). Thereafter, the first site operating company 2 ships the product delivered by the second site operating company 6 to the lottery purchase user 7 or the resale product purchase user 5.
[0029] FIG. 2 is a system configuration diagram of the lottery product resale system.
[0030] The lottery product resale system 100 is composed of a lottery resale server 10 operated by a first site operating company 2, a lottery server 11 operated by a second site operating company 6, a lottery server 12 operated by a third lottery sales site operating company, a lottery server 13 operated by a fourth lottery sales site operating company, a lottery operation terminal 20 operated by a lottery purchase user 4, and a resale purchase terminal 30 operated by a resale product purchasing user 5, all of which are communicatively connected to each other via a network 40.
[0031] 3 is an explanatory diagram showing the connection of the site of the lottery product resale system 100 (see FIG. 2). In FIG. 3, departments 2-1 and 2-2 of the first lottery sales site operating company correspond to the respective departments of the first site operating company 2 shown in FIG.
[0032] 3, department 2-1 of the first lottery sales site operating company operates three lottery sales sites: 21A, 21B, and 21C. Lottery sales site 21A, 21B, and 21C correspond to lottery sales site 21 shown in FIG.
[0033] In FIG. 3, the department (market) 2-2 of the first lottery sales site operating company is the market of the first site operating company 2, and the department 2-2 operates the resale site 22 shown in FIG.
[0034] In Figure 3, the second site operating company 6 is a separate business entity from the first site operating company 2, and is the first producer of the lottery product resale system 100 (see Figure 2), and operates the lottery sales site 61D under a contract with the first site operating company 2.
[0035] The third lottery sales site operating company (hereinafter referred to as "third site operating company") 8 is a separate business entity from the first site operating company 2 and the second site operating company 6, and is the second producer of the lottery product resale system 100 (see Figure 2), and operates the lottery sales site 81E under a contract with the first site operating company 2.
[0036] The fourth lottery sales site operating company (hereinafter abbreviated as "fourth site operating company") 9 is a separate business entity from the first site operating company 2, the second site operating company 6, and the third site operating company 8, and is a license contract company that has entered into a license agreement with the first site operating company 2, and operates the lottery sales site 91F under the license agreement with the first site operating company 2.
[0037] Lottery sales site 21A, lottery sales site 21B, lottery sales site 21C, lottery sales site 61D, lottery sales site 81E, and lottery sales site 91F are connected for communication with one resale site 22, which is a market.
[0038] In the lottery product resale system 100 (see Figure 2), there are multiple lottery sales sites operated by different operators, but there is only one resale site, resale site 22, operated by first site operating company 2, which is the management company of this lottery product resale system 100.
[0039] FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram showing the flow of a commercial transaction to which the lottery product resale system 100 (see FIG. 2) is applied.
[0040] At each of lottery sales site 21A, lottery sales site 21B, lottery sales site 21C, lottery sales site 61D, lottery sales site 81E and lottery sales site 91F, if a lottery purchase user finds that they no longer need any of the lottery products they have purchased, they will list the unwanted items on resale site 22 of department (market) 2-2 of the first lottery sales site operating company.
[0041] When a resale purchaser purchases a listed item and requests that it be shipped to the resale purchaser, the first site operating company 2 will ship the item to the resale purchaser (within 3 to 14 days) from the first product management section 3-1 (direct sales store, warehouse, etc.) or second product management section 3-2 of the product management section 3, and will transfer the purchase price of the item by the resale purchaser to the account of the seller of the item, deducting a 7% commission.
[0042] Here, the process of shipping the item and transferring a 7% commission from the purchase price of the item to the account of the seller is the same for users who purchase items through a lottery, even when they are resale buyers.
[0043] When lottery purchase users and resale product purchase users list items, they list them in "yen currency." In order for lottery purchase users and resale product purchase users to purchase listed items, they must register as members of the lottery product resale system 100 (see S22 and S23 in FIG. 8).
[0044] For example, if Taro acquires a product from our system-developed company, second site operating company 6, through a lottery sale on lottery sales site 61D and selects "list" for the acquired product on resale site 22, the product will be put up for sale on the market with Taro as the seller. If Masayoshi purchases the put-up product, second site operating company 6 will ship the product to product management department 3 of first site operating company 2. As soon as the product arrives at first site operating company 2, first site operating company 2 will ship the product to Masayoshi. First site operating company 2 will transfer the amount of the sales minus a commission (7% in this embodiment) to Taro.
[0045] Therefore, in this embodiment, when a product put up for sale on the resale site 22 is purchased, the first site operating company 2 will have the product shipped.
[0046] FIG. 5 is a hardware configuration diagram of the lottery resale server.
[0047] The lottery resale server 10 includes a processor 101, a RAM 102, a ROM 103, a storage 104, a display 105, and a communication I / F 106, which are connected to each other via a bus 107.
[0048] A wired or wireless network communication device 108 for connecting to the network 40 is connected to the communication I / F 106. The network communication device 108 is connected to the lottery operation terminal 20 and the resale purchase terminal 30, respectively.
[0049] FIG. 6 is a functional block diagram of the lottery resale server 10.
[0050] The lottery resale server 10 includes a user registration unit 110, a login processing unit 120, a lottery sales control unit 130, a resale control unit 140, a payment processing unit 150, a user information storage unit 160, and a product information storage unit 170. Each of these units is realized by the processor 101 loading a program installed in the ROM 103 or storage 104 of the lottery resale server 10 into the RAM 102 and executing it.
[0051] The user registration unit 110 stores and updates user information in the user information storage unit 160 .
[0052] The login processing unit 120 executes login processing in response to a login request from the lottery operation terminal 20 and the resale purchase terminal 30 .
[0053] The lottery sales control unit 130 controls lottery sales sites where products can be purchased through lottery processes. For example, it controls packaging sales sites and sales sites that involve so-called gacha operations. Prizes in gacha operations are an example of products allocated based on the results of lottery operations.
[0054] The resale control unit 140 controls the resale site for reselling the products sold via the lottery sale control unit 130 in response to a request from the lottery operation terminal 20 .
[0055] The settlement processing unit 150 performs settlement processing for the price when a purchase is made by the lottery sale control unit 130 and the resale control unit 140 .
[0056] The product information storage unit 170 stores product information for sale by the lottery sale control unit 130 and the resale control unit 140, including, for example, product names and images thereof, sales prices, resale information indicating that the products will be put up for sale on a resale site, etc. It also stores collection information for each user that links the user information with the identification information of products in each user's collection.
[0057] FIG. 7 is a hardware configuration diagram of the lottery operation terminal 20 and the resale purchase terminal 30. As shown in FIG.
[0058] The lottery operation terminal 20 and the resale purchase terminal 30 are both terminals operated by general users who access the lottery resale server 10, and may be, for example, a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or personal computer, and the model is not limited.
[0059] Each of the lottery operation terminal 20 and the resale purchase terminal 30 includes a processor 181, a RAM 182, a ROM 183, a storage 184, a display 185, an operation input interface 186, and a network communication device 187, which are connected to each other via a bus 188.
[0060] The operation input interface 186 may be, for example, a touch sensor, a keyboard, or the like.
[0061] FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing the flow of processing in the lottery product resale system 100 (see FIG. 2).
[0062] The product holder 1 puts his / her product stored in the product management section 3 up for sale on the lottery sales site 21 (S21).
[0063] The lottery resale server 10 operated by the first lottery sales site operating company determines whether the lottery purchase user 4 has registered as a member (S22).
[0064] If the lottery purchase user 4 is already registered as a member (S22: Yes), the process proceeds directly to S24. If the lottery purchase user 4 is not already registered as a member (S22: No), the lottery purchase user 4 performs a member registration process and then the process proceeds to S24.
[0065] The lottery purchase user 4 accesses the lottery sales site 21 to enter the lottery and make a payment (S24). This lottery action is an operation in which the lottery purchase user 4 purchases a product from the lottery operation terminal 20 without knowing what the product is. Specific examples of lottery actions include, for example, drawing a lottery ticket (including so-called gacha) or selecting packaging. The product that the lottery purchase user 4 wins (the winning product) is temporarily added to the lottery purchase user 4's collection.
[0066] The lottery purchase user 4 performs an operation to receive the product (for example, an operation to request shipping to the user, an operation to redeem points, etc.), or an operation to put up the product for resale (S25).
[0067] When the lottery purchase user 4 performs a receiving operation (S25: product receiving operation), the first site operating company 2 carries out procedures for shipping to the address specified by the lottery purchase user 4 (S26). Alternatively, if the product is digital data, the first site operating company 2 may instead send a URL for downloading to the lottery purchase user 4. In the case of NFT data, the data of the lottery purchase user 4 is added and then transmitted to the lottery operation terminal 20. Alternatively, the product may be converted into points. The process then ends.
[0068] When the lottery purchase user 4 performs a listing operation (S25: listing operation), the lottery purchase user 4 performs a listing procedure on the resale site 22 (S27). If the product is NFT data, the lottery purchase user 4's data is added and then the product is listed on the resale site 22.
[0069] The resale product purchasing user 5 accesses the resale site 22 (S28).
[0070] If the resale product purchasing user 5 does not purchase the product from the resale site 22 (S29: No), the resale product purchasing user 5 stops accessing the resale site 22 and ends the process. If the resale product purchasing user 5 purchases the product from the resale site 22 (S29: Yes), the resale product purchasing user 5 performs the resale product purchase operation and pays the product price (S30).
[0071] The lottery resale server 10 adds the purchased resale item to the collection of the resale-item purchasing user 5, and when the resale-item purchasing user 5 requests the shipping of the resale item or, if the item is digital data, the transmission of the item data, the lottery resale server 10 sends or receives the item accordingly (S31). After this, the lottery resale server 10 deducts a 7% commission from the sales amount (the purchase price of the item by the resale-item purchasing user 5) (S32), and transfers the deducted amount to the account of the seller of the item (S33). At this time, the lottery resale server 10 may pay the amount minus the resale commission to the lottery purchasing user 4. Furthermore, if the item is NFT data, the lottery resale server 10 further adds information about the resale-item purchasing user 5 to the data of the lottery purchasing user 4, and then transmits the data to the resale-item purchasing user 5.
[0072] 9 to 11 are examples of screen displays on the lottery sales site.
[0073] 9 is one example of a screen displayed on the lottery sales site, and includes an image 201 of the package A being sold, a purchase quantity input field 202, a purchase total amount display field 203, and a purchase confirmation button 204. When an input is made in the purchase quantity input field 202 on the lottery operation terminal 20, the purchase amount is displayed in the purchase total amount display field 203. After confirming this, pressing the purchase confirmation button 204 on the lottery operation terminal 20 transitions to screen 210 in FIG.
[0074] Screen 210 in FIG. 10 is one example of a screen displayed on the lottery sales site, and displays information 211 about each product purchased through the lottery, product handling designation buttons 212 that allow selection of three handling methods for each product using a pull-down menu: "Request shipping," "List," or "Redeem points," and a decision button 213. If "Request shipping" is checked on the lottery operation terminal 20, the digital product will be sent to an address specified by the operator of the lottery operation terminal 20, or to a storage device or address specified by the operator, and if "List" is checked, the product will be put up for sale on a resale site. Pressing the decision button 213 transitions to screen 220 in FIG. 11. If "Redeem points" is selected, the user can receive points equivalent to the value of the winning product.
[0075] 11 is one example of a screen displayed on the lottery sales site, and displays information 221 about each product purchased through the lottery, a shipping destination information field 222 including a field for inputting the shipping destination for each product and a field for displaying shipping fees, and a confirm button 223. When the necessary information is entered in the shipping destination information field 222 on the lottery operation terminal 20 and the confirm button 213 is pressed, the screen transitions to screen 300 in FIG.
[0076] Screen 300 in Figure 12 is one example of a screen displayed on the resale site, and is a screen for inputting sales information about a product that is to be resold from among the products purchased through a lottery. Screen 300 displays product information 301, a sales price input field 302, a deposit account designation field 303 for when the resale product is sold, and a confirm button 304. By inputting the necessary information into sales price input field 302 and deposit account designation field 303 on lottery operation terminal 20 and pressing confirm button 304, the product purchased through the lottery can be put up for sale on the resale site.
[0077] Screen 310 in Figure 13 is one example of a screen displayed on a resale site, and is a sales page screen for a resale product. Screen 310 displays product information 311, a sales price display field 312, and a purchase button 313. By specifying the product to be purchased on resale purchase terminal 30 and pressing purchase button 313, the operator of resale purchase terminal 30 can purchase the resale product.
[0078] Screen 230 in Fig. 14 is another example of a screen for a lottery sales site, where users draw a lottery ticket (known as gacha) as a lottery activity and purchase a product according to the lottery result. Screen 230 displays an input field 231 for the number of times to draw gacha, and a purchase button (illustrated as "draw gacha") 232. Pressing purchase button 232 transitions to screen 240 in Fig. 15.
[0079] Screen 240 in Figure 15 is another example screen of a lottery sales site, showing an example of a game card being won as a prize in a lottery (so-called gacha). Screen 240 includes a card information display field 241, a product shipping request button 242, a point redemption button 243, and a "list" button 244. Pressing the "request shipping" button 242 transitions to screen 220 in Figure 11 for requesting product shipping if the user wins a game card. Pressing the point redemption button 243 transitions to a screen for requesting point redemption for the product if the user wins a game card. Pressing the "list" button 244 transitions to screen 300 in Figure 12 for listing the product if the user wins a game card on a resale site.
[0080] <Summary of the configuration and effects of an embodiment of the present invention> To summarize the configuration and effects of an embodiment of the present invention, the product sales server (lottery resale server 10) comprises a lottery sales control unit 130 that accepts product purchase requests via a lottery action, and a resale control unit 140 that accepts resale requests for products purchased via the lottery action.
[0081] The product purchased through the lottery action is a product allocated according to the result of the lottery operation.
[0082] The product sales server (lottery resale server 10) is managed by the first business operator, and further includes a shipping control unit (lottery sales control unit 130, resale control unit 140, and circuits and programs for receiving product shipping requests from the payment processing unit 150) that receives product shipping requests for products purchased through the lottery, and the shipping control unit receives product shipping requests from servers (lottery server 11 operated by a second lottery sales site operating company, lottery server 12 operated by a third lottery sales site operating company, and lottery server 13 operated by a fourth lottery sales site operating company) managed by a second business operator different from the first business operator. In the product sales system (lottery product resale system 100) of the embodiment of the present invention, the product sales server is communicably connected to a lottery operation terminal 20 that purchases products from the product sales server through a lottery, and a resale purchase terminal 30 that purchases resold products from the products purchased by the lottery operation terminal through the lottery.
[0083] According to this embodiment, if a consumer who purchases a product through a lottery does not need the product, they can put the product up for resale on a resale site, which will give them an opportunity to make effective use of their unwanted items. This will reduce the disposal rate of unwanted items and contribute to a sustainable society.
[0084] In addition, in the product sales system (lottery product resale system 100) of an embodiment of the present invention, a 7% commission is deducted from the purchase price of the product by the user purchasing the resale product and transferred to the account of the seller of the product, but various commission rates other than 7%, such as 5% or 10%, can also be applied.
[0085] The above-described embodiments do not limit the present invention, and modifications that do not deviate from the spirit of the present invention are included in the scope of the present invention.
[0086] Furthermore, the structure, system, program, and the like of the present invention can be modified in various ways without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
[0087] For example, two or more members can be combined into one, or conversely, one member can be made up of two or more separate members and connected together.
[0088] Furthermore, the above embodiment is merely one of the best modes currently available.
