Description

[0001] HOUSING FOR A BUILT-IN LAMP AND ITS INSTALLATION METHOD

[0002] AREA OF TECHNOLOGY

[0003] The group of inventions relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to devices for mounting built-in lamps in suspended ceilings and can be used for frameless installation of a lamp in a suspended ceiling.

[0004] LEVEL OF TECHNOLOGY

[0005] The problem solved by the invention is that built-in luminaires for frameless installation in a stretch ceiling are mounted using adhesive joints. The disadvantage of this method of fastening is the dirty work with glue - there is a risk of dirtying the canvas, which will lead to the need for its complete replacement. Another known option is using a web fixing element that is inserted manually into the embedded base, without applying significant force, which means there is a risk that the canvas will slip out during further use. This could be avoided by increasing the effort to install the web fixing element into the embedded base, but in this case, the flexible suspensions bend under the action of force and the housing for the built-in luminaire is installed unevenly, returning it to its original position when the web is tucked into the housing is problematic, the claimed group of inventions offers a solution to both of these problems.

[0006] A known light fitting for a suspended ceiling (patent RU 218671 U1, published 06 / 05 / 2023 in Bulletin No. 16, patent holder Roman Sergeevich Gribov (RU)) includes a ring-shaped housing, the outer wall of which is made higher than the inner wall, the upper edge of the outer wall of the housing is connected to the inner edge of the inner wall by a convex transition, fasteners for mounting with the possibility of fixing external fastener elements are made on the outer wall of the ring, in the lower part of the housing in the internal space inside the inner wall of the ring-shaped housing a jumper is mounted, in the central part of which a socket is made with the possibility of installing a cartridge, around which fastening holes are made.

[0007] Also known is the housing of a luminaire built into a suspended ceiling (patent RU 218409 U1, published on 05 / 25 / 2023 in the bulletin.No. 15, patent holder Evgeniya Alekseevna Astafieva (RU)), made hollow, the upper end of the housing is made plugged with an opening in the center of the plugged end for mounting a socket with a lamp through it, at the edge of the plugged end on the side wall of the housing, diametrically located protrusions are mounted with the possibility of attaching the housing of the lamp to the rough ceiling by means of brackets, while along the edge of the open end of the housing on the inside of the side walls along the perimeter, annular recesses are made with the possibility of interaction through the fabric of the suspended ceiling with annular protrusions made along the perimeter of the retaining ring, the external shape and external dimensions of which correspond to the shape and dimensions of the internal surface of the housing of the lamp for placing the said retaining ring inside the housing of the lamp through the fabric of the suspended ceiling by combining the annular recesses and protrusions. The placement of the element fixing the web in the embedded base in accordance with known technical solutions, due to the need to apply force to insert it into the embedded base, leads to the risk of deformation of the flexible suspensions and displacement of the luminaire in the plane.

[0008] This problem could be solved by using a known device for mounting suspended lighting fixtures on a suspended ceiling (patent RU 219251 U1, published on 06.07.2023 in Bulletin No. 19, patent holder Evgeny Vasilyevich Zabolotin (RU)) during installation, which includes a bracket for mounting to the main ceiling and a mounting platform, which is equipped with a connecting element made in the form of a rod with an external thread applied, and is connected by a threaded connection to the bracket.

[0009] However, such a solution is not removable, and the rod can interfere with the placement of the cartridge on the mounting platform; in addition, the known device for mounting suspended lighting fixtures on a stretch ceiling is also placed on the main ceiling using flexible hangers, that is, it has the same drawback as the above analogs.

[0010] The closest to the claimed invention is a device for mounting auxiliary equipment in a suspended ceiling (patent RU 195863 U1, published on 02 / 07 / 2020 in Bulletin No. 4, patent holder Andrey Vladimirovich Kokh (RU)) comprising an element made in the form of an embedded base and a fixing element for the web with the ability to clamp the suspended ceiling web, where the inner surface of the embedded base is provided with an adhesive layer. The disadvantage of the prototype is the need to use an adhesive joint to hold the web in the embedded support; with this installation method, it is difficult to place the web without getting it dirty and press the element fixing the web into the embedded support without the risk of deformation of the flexible suspensions and displacement of the lamp in the plane.

[0011] DISCLOSURE OF THE ESSENCE OF THE INVENTION

[0012] The objective of the invention is to create a new method for mounting a housing for a built-in light fitting and a housing for a built-in light fitting that is free from the disadvantages inherent in analogues.

[0013] The technical result of the claimed group of inventions is the elimination of the problems of installation known from the state of the art, the simplification of the process of such installation of the housing for a built-in light fitting and, as a consequence, the simplification of the device of the built-in light fitting itself in a suspended ceiling; in addition, the technical result is the simplification of the design of the housing for the built-in light fitting.

[0014] In order to achieve a technical result, the following is proposed:

[0015] A method for mounting a housing for a built-in light fitting where the embedded base is secured to the main ceiling, the general height level is set and the tension web is mounted along the entire perimeter of the room, the location of the embedded base of the housing for the built-in light fitting is determined and an opening is made in the web using a cutting tool, in accordance with the claimed technical solution, a web fixing element of the housing for the built-in light fitting is installed on the mounting plate of the mounting tool, the support plate of the mounting tool is inserted through the resulting opening behind the support means with which the embedded base of the housing for the built-in light fitting is provided, the web fixing element of the housing for the built-in light fitting is brought to the web and using the limiter of the mounting tool along its rod, its mounting plate with the web fixing element of the housing for the built-in light fitting is pressed towards its support plate,in such a way that the web fits into the gap between the web fixing element of the housing for the built-in light fitting and the embedded base of the housing for the built-in light fitting, the web fixing element of the housing for the built-in light fitting is inserted into the embedded base of the housing for the built-in light fitting until it abuts against the support means with which the embedded base of the housing for the built-in light fitting is provided, ensuring that the web fixing element of the housing for the built-in light fitting fits in depth no less than the level of the embedded base of the housing for the built-in light fitting and forming a gap between them, the size of which ensures that the web is held under tension, thus fixing the web in the housing for the built-in light fitting, by moving the limiter of the mounting tool back along its rod, the installation part of the mounting tool is released and it is removed from the housing for the built-in light fitting.

[0016] In addition, the support plate of the mounting tool can be inserted through the resulting hole behind the support means, inserting its rounded ends into its through sector of the stop thread until it stops.

[0017] In accordance with the method of mounting the housing for a built-in light fitting, the housing for a built-in light fitting, made in the form of an embedded base and a web-fixing element with the ability to clamp the web of a stretch ceiling, in order to achieve the technical result, is made as follows: the embedded base is provided with a support means to a depth of not less than the height of the web-fixing element, a gap is provided between the web-fixing element and the embedded base, the size of which ensures that the web is held in tension.

[0018] Preferably, when the inner part of the embedded base and the outer part of the element fixing the web have a ring-shaped form and are made with an offset to the axis of the cross-section of the housing for the built-in luminaire, the support means is made in the form of a stop thread with at least one through sector, the gap between the element fixing the web and the embedded base is made commensurate in thickness with the thickness of the web and is provided with a sealing element, for example, in the form of a ring. The embedded base can be provided with fastening elements for connecting to other housings for the built-in luminaire, for example, clips. The housing for the built-in luminaire can be provided with fastening elements for the socket and fastening elements to the main ceiling.

[0026] IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INVENTION

[0027] The invention is based on the principle of clamping the web 19 of the stretch ceiling between the embedded base 2 and the web fixing element 3 (similar to pressing in - pressing under force) and allows mounting the housing 1 for the built-in luminaire in the stretch ceiling on flexible hangers 20 without using adhesives and complex design solutions. The simplification of the design of the housing 1 for the built-in luminaire is realized due to the fact that it consists of two elements, namely the embedded base 2 and the web fixing element 3, which is placed in the inner part 7 of the embedded base 2. It is preferable when the inner part 7 of the embedded base 2 and the outer part 11 of the web fixing element 3 have a ring-shaped shape, which is most optimal for the widespread shape of the luminaire. A gap 17 is provided between the web fixing element 3 and the embedded base 2 (Fig.4), the size of which ensures retention of the web 19 under tension, for example, by the thickness of the web 19 for PVC webs, as a rule, from 0.15 mm to - 0.18 mm, for fabric 0.15 mm to 0.20 mm, that is, with an optimal gap 17, a sealing element 18 can additionally be used in the design, enhancing the clamping effect. The web 19, placed between the embedded base 2 and the web-fixing element 3 due to the gap 17 between them, is retained, and also increases the clamp, preventing the web-fixing element 3 from slipping out of the inner part 7 of the embedded base 2.For positioning the element 3 fixing the web in the embedded base 2, it is provided with a support means 8 to a depth of not less than the height of the element 3 fixing the web, thus it is placed in its inner part 7 by pressing until it stops, and the housing 1 for the built-in light with the light source placed in it creates the effect of the absence of such a housing on the plane of the stretch ceiling (this type of light is called frameless). The design feature of the housing 1 for the built-in light, when the inner part 7 of the embedded base 2 and the outer part 11 of the element 3 fixing the web are made with an offset to the axis of its cross-section (reference Fig.4) is determined by the production features of the forms and materials from which such a housing is made, at the same time, this feature provides an advantage consisting in the simplicity of inserting the element 3 fixing the web directly with the web 19 into the embedded support 2 at the initial stage of installation, which allows for the web 19 to be carefully inserted and fixed in the housing 1 for the built-in luminaire without tightening, wrinkling and folds.

[0028] From such housings 1 for a built-in luminaire it is possible to form a system of several light sources, for this purpose the embedded base 2 can be provided with fastening elements 12 for connection with other housings 1 for a built-in luminaire, for example, clips 6, also the housing 1 for a built-in luminaire can be provided with fastening elements 12 for the lamp socket 4, which will allow the correct positioning of the light source, and with fastening elements 10 for the housing 1 for a built-in luminaire to the main ceiling 21, which will facilitate the positioning of the housing 1 for a built-in luminaire relative to the main ceiling 21.

[0029] Since the housing 1 for the built-in light is based on the principle of clamping the web 19 between the embedded base 2 and the web fixing element 3, then in accordance with the claimed method, the tool 5 for mounting the housing 1 for the built-in light, shown in Fig. 3, can be used.

[0030] The installation of the housing 1 for the built-in light fitting using such a tool 5 for installation is implemented in accordance with the claimed method of installation of the housing 1 for the built-in light fitting, where the embedded base 2 is fixed to the main ceiling 21, for example, by aligning the openings of the flexible hangers 20 with the fastening elements 10 of the housing 1 for the built-in light fitting to the main ceiling 21. If necessary, a sealing element 18 is placed in its inner part 7, if it has not been installed earlier. Then, the general level is set by height and the web 19 is installed along the entire perimeter of the room, the location of the embedded base 2 of the housing 1 for the built-in light fitting is determined (for example, by probing) and an opening is made in the web 19 using a cutting tool (for example, a knife). In the case of PVC, a small hole is made in the center of the embedded base 2, in the case of fabric, a hole is made and cut in rays from the center at intervals of 5-8 mm to the beginning of the edge of the embedded base 2, leaving about 5 mm without a cut. Then, the fixing element of the web 3 of the housing 1 for the built-in lamp is placed on the mounting plate 14 of the tool 5 for installation, the support plate 13 of the tool 5 for installation is inserted through the obtained hole behind the support means 8, with which the embedded base 2 of the housing 1 for the built-in lamp is provided, for example, by inserting its rounded ends into its through sector 9 of the stop thread, turning it until it stops and ensuring reliable positioning of the rod 15 of the tool 5 for installation along the axis of the cross-section of the housing 1 of the built-in lamp. Then, the web fixing element 3 of the housing 1 for the built-in light is brought to the web 19 and, using the limiter 16 of the tool 5 for mounting along its rod 15, for example, by tightening the wing screw along the thread of the stud, the mounting plate 14 of the tool 5 for mounting is pressed with the web fixing element 3 of the housing 1 for the built-in light. Since the mounting plate 14 has a shape congruent to the shape of the web fixing element 3 of the housing 1 for the built-in light, uniform pressure is ensured over its entire surface. The pressing is carried out towards the support plate 13 of the installation tool 5 in such a way that the web 19 enters the gap 17 between the web fixing element 3 of the housing 1 for the built-in light and its embedded base 2, the web fixing element 3 of the housing 1 for the built-in light is inserted into the embedded base 2 of the housing 1 for the built-in light until it stops against the support means 8 with which the embedded base 2 of the housing 1 for the built-in light is provided, ensuring the fit of the web fixing element 3 of the housing 1 for the built-in light in depth without a protrusion at the same level with the embedded base 2 of the housing 1 for the built-in light and forming a gap 17 between them, the size of which ensures that the web 19 is held under tension. In this way, the web 19 is fixed in the housing 1 for the built-in light and this completes the installation.Since the stresses of the material of the web 19 at the place of installation of the housing 1 for the built-in light are small, the web 19 is securely fixed in the resulting gap 17. Then the mounting tool 5 is removed from the housing 1 for the built-in light. By the reverse movement of the limiter 16 of the mounting tool 5 along its rod 15, the mounting plate 14 of the mounting tool 5 is released, the support plate 13 is turned back along the thread of the support means 8, lifted upwards and through the pass-through sector 9 is brought down from the support means 8, thus removing the mounting tool 5 from the housing 1 for the built-in light.

[0031] In accordance with this method, the forces during clamping of the sheet 19 of the stretch ceiling between the embedded base 2 and the sheet fixing element 3 are transferred from the flexible hangers 20 to the installation tool 5 and allows solving a currently relevant problem when installers are faced with a choice between using adhesive compositions with the risk of dirtying the sheet 19 and deformation of the flexible hangers 20 when pressing the sheet fixing element 3 into the embedded base 2.

[0032] The above example of using the invention allows for the installation of the housing 1 for the built-in lamp, ensuring the unity of the invention, as a result of which the technical result is achieved. The process of installing the housing 1 for the built-in lamp is simplified and, as a consequence, the device of the built-in lamp itself in the suspended ceiling is simplified, and the design of the housing 1 for the built-in lamp is also simplified.
