Abstract

The present invention relates to a mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a numerator (1) wherein said side shelf (2) is enabled to be mounted to said numerator (1) by attaching a hook (1.1) formed on said numerator (1) inside a cooking appliance in a way that said hook (1.1) surrounds a first vertical wire (2.1).

[0003] The invention relates to a mounting system for a side shelf and a numerator, which is usable in cooking appliances.

[0004] More specifically, the invention relates to a system wherein a side shelf is enabled to be mounted to a numerator by attaching a hook structure formed on a numerator inside a cooking appliance in a way that said hook structure surrounds a first vertical wire.

[0006] A cooking appliance is a household device used for cooking or heating the foods. Such appliances are generally used in the kitchens of the houses for the purpose of preparing (heating and cooking) the foods. The cooking appliances have types such as gas- or electric-operated appliances, etc.

[0007] Indicating with numbers the side shelves fitted at the interior sections of the baking ovens, which are a type of cooking appliance, is an important detail for the users and the manufacturers. A user seeing the indications that show the numbers for the shelves inside a baking oven is able to readily follow which shelf he / she is currently using. The parts where the numbers are inscribed (i.e., the numerators) may be disposed of inside a baking oven for indicating the numbers of the side shelves. Here, the numerators may be fastened to the side surfaces or the side shelves of the oven by way of screwing, welding, etc. The solutions employing the screws are not preferred, as they offer a costly and complicated structure; the welded systems are not preferable either, as they are not able to be assembled and disassembled. On the other hand, the systems employing the screws cause the user to lose time and result in extra labor. Further, since the systems employing the screws have various components, their manufacture becomes a difficult and costly process.

Consequently, considering the prior art and the mentioned drawbacks, there is a need for a design whereby the side shelves and the numerator may be readily assembled and the assembled structure may be mounted and dismounted in a practical manner.

[0032] Detailed Description of the Invention

[0033] The invention relates to a mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a numerator (1) enabling, a numerator (1 ), which is placed into a cooking appliance in order to indicate the numbers of the shelves in said cooking appliance and present a premium appearance to the user, and a side shelf (2) to be connected.

[0034] The present invention basically consists of the structures of a numerator (1 ) and a side shelf (2). Said numerator (1) has a hook (1.1), which includes the structures of a rounded section (1.2), a tab (1 .3), and a slit (1 .4), and at least one vertical side (1 .5). Said side shelf (2) has the structures of at least one first vertical wire (2.1), at least one second vertical wire (2.2), and at least one horizontal wire (2.3).

[0035] Said numerator (1 ) refers to a part bearing the inscriptions that indicate the shelf numbers and is preferably manufactured from the inox material (i.e., is a stainless-steel part). The numerator (1) is configured with a rectangular geometry. Said numerator (1) includes a hook (1.1), which enables the engagement of the side shelf (2) via the snap-fit action. Here, the hook (1.1 ) comprises a rounded section (1.2), which the vertical wire (2.1 , 2.2) may engage, and which preferably has a diameter corresponding to said vertical wire (2.1 , 2.2). The rounded section (1.2) is formed with a slit (1.4), which starts almost at the vertical and horizontal half point of said rounded section (1.2) and which extends as a hollow structure until it covers the entire length of said rounded section (1.2). Here, the slit (1.4) enables the numerator (1) to sit on the horizontal wire (2.3) and prevents the rotational movement as a result of the tip of said horizontal wire (2.3) abutting the rounded section (1.2) when said numerator (1 ) attempts to perform a rotational movement. In the part following the rounded section (1.2), a tab (1.3), with the structure of an extension almost as long as said rounded section (1 .2), is formed. More specifically, the hook (1 .1) is positioned on at least one vertical side (1.5) in a way to be disposed near the top and bottom of said vertical side (1.5), performs the snap-fit action by engaging a first vertical wire (2.1) of the side shelf (2) and sits on a horizontal wire (2.3), and enables, after the snap-fit action, the rotational movement to be prevented as a result of the tip of said horizontal wire (2.3) passing through a slit (1 .4) and abutting a rounded section (1 .2) when the numerator (1) attempts to perform a rotational movement.

[0036] Said side shelf (2) refers to a shelf structure, which has a wire structure and is capable of supporting various components (e.g., a baking tray). Said side shelf (2) is formed by joining a certain number of horizontal wires (2.3), which are parallel to one another, between two vertical wires (2.1 , 2.2). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the formed structure of the side shelf (2) has a quadrilateral geometry.

[0037] According to the present invention, a user wishing to fix the side shelf (2) to the numerator (1 ) first aligns said side shelf (2) with said numerator (1) and then positions the first vertical wire (2.1) such that said first vertical wire (2.1 ) engages the hook (1.1 ) on said numerator (1) in a snap-fit manner. There are preferably two hooks (1.1) in the invention, wherein the mounting process is completed after both said hooks (1.1 ) are engaged via the snap-fit action. As a result, the side shelf (2) and the numerator (1) are joined together in a secure and simple manner, without having to perform the extra time-consuming processes like screwing.

Claims

CLAIMS1. A mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a numerator (1) enabling a numerator (1 ), which is placed into a cooking appliance in order to indicate numbers of shelves in said cooking appliance, and a side shelf (2), to be connected, characterized in that, in order to enable said side shelf (2) to be connected to said numerator (1), said numerator (1) comprises- at least one hook (1.1), which is positioned on at least one vertical side (1.5) in a way to be disposed near top and bottom of said vertical side (1 .5), performs snap-fit action by engaging a first vertical wire (2.1) of said side shelf (2) and sits on a horizontal wire (2.3), and enables, after the snap-fit action, rotational movement to be prevented as a result of tip of said horizontal wire (2.3) passing through a slit (1 .4) and abutting a rounded section (1.2) when said numerator (1) attempts to perform a rotational movement.

A mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a numerator (1 ) according to Claim 1 characterized in that said mounting system is configured such that said numerator (1 ) is aligned with said side shelf (2) and said first vertical wire (2.1) engages said hook (1.1) on said numerator (1 ) in a snap-fit manner.

3. A mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a numerator (1 ) according to Claim 1 characterized in that said numerator (1) is manufactured from the inox material.

4. A mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a numerator (1 ) according to Claim 1 characterized in that said numerator (1) comprises at least one vertical side (1 .5).

5. A mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a numerator (1 ) according to Claim 1 characterized in that said side shelf (2) comprises at least one first vertical wire (2.1), at least one second vertical wire (2.2), and at least one horizontal wire (2.3).
