Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR SHELF AND DISPLAY PANEL

[0003] Technical Field

[0004] The invention relates to a mounting system for a shelf and a display panel, usable in the cooking appliances.

[0005] More specifically, the invention relates to a system wherein a display panel is mounted to a shelf in a snap-fit manner, with the help of a first section and a second section.

[0006] State of the Art

[0007] A cooking appliance is a household device used for cooking or heating the foods. Such appliances are generally used in the kitchens of the houses for the purpose of preparing (heating and cooking) the foods. The cooking appliances have types such as gas- or electric-operated appliances, etc.

[0008] The users who purchase the baking ovens, which are a type of cooking appliance, seek the details giving them their money’s worth and making them feel premium at the interior of said baking ovens. Some phrases and pictures may be inscribed at the interior parts of a baking oven as part of the fabrication process, both for the above-mentioned purposes and as a result of the preference to add a phrase or picture, which the manufacturer company desires to display to the user, as a detail at said interior parts of said baking oven. As another solution, the detail parts, on which a writing, picture, or a message wished to be displayed to the user is inscribed, may be added to the interior sections of a baking oven. It is observed that, according to the state of the art, such parts are joined to the interior sections of the baking oven via entirely welded connections or screw connections. Thus, a user wishing to attach and detach the screw connections would have to perform extra work.

[0009] EP4209716A1 discloses a cooking appliance. Said cooking appliance comprises a housing and a divider. A first temperature sensor connected to the housing is configured to detect the air temperature of a first space. A shelf located inside the baking space includes a second temperature sensor, which is connected to a frame of the shelf and is configured to detect the air temperature of a second space.

[0010] EP2993415B1 discloses a food carrier for use especially in the microwave operation, wherein said food carrier has at least one support element for food, said support element is directly or indirectly fixed to a frame element, and said support element has a labeling section. Consequently, considering the prior art and the mentioned drawbacks, there is a need for a design whereby the shelf and the display panel may be readily assembled, the assembled structure may be mounted and dismounted in a practical manner, and the user’s hand does not suffer any injury (e.g., a cut) while mounting and dismounting said assembled structure.

[0011] Object and Brief Description of the Invention

[0012] An object of the invention is to enable a connection to be achieved between a shelf and a display panel.

[0013] Another object of the invention is to enable a connection to be achieved between a shelf and a display panel without the need to use any screw structure.

[0014] Another object of the invention is to present to a user a premium (peculiar) appearance owing to the inox structure of the display panel.

[0015] A mounting system for a shelf and a display panel, usable in a cooking appliance, wherein, in order to enable said display panel to be connected to said shelf easily and enable said display panel to be readily mounted and dismounted, said display panel comprises the components of

[0016] - at least one first section, which is bent downward according to a certain diameter from a first bending point of a top portion of said display panel and which snap fits on a part of a frame wire,

[0017] - at least one second section, which is bent upward according to a certain diameter from a second bending point of a bottom portion of said display panel and which, by snap fitting on a snap wire present below said frame wire, enables said display panel to be fixed, and

[0018] - at least one third section, which is bent downward according to a certain diameter from a third bending point in the part following said second section and which enables said display panel to be mounted and dismounted easily.

[0019] The present invention relates to a system wherein a display panel is mounted to a shelf in the snap- fit manner, with the help of a first section and a second section.

[0037] Detailed Description of the Invention

[0038] The present invention relates to a system wherein a display panel (1 ) is mounted to a shelf (2) as a result of said display panel (1) snap-fitting via a first section (1 .2) thereof on a frame wire (2.1 ) and via a second section (1 .4) thereof on a snap wire (2.3).

[0039] The present invention basically consists of the structures of a display panel (1 ) and a shelf (2). Said display panel (1 ) comprises a first section (1.2), a second section (1.4), and a third section (1.6). Said shelf (2) has the structures of at least one frame wire (2.1), at least one intermediate wire (2.2), and at least one snap wire (2.3).

[0040] Said display panel (1) refers to a part on which a message wished to be conveyed to a user, a picture, a writing, or a company logo or name may be inscribed, wherein said display panel (1 ) is preferably manufactured from the inox material (i.e., is a stainless-steel part). The display panel (1 ) is configured with a rectangular geometry. Said display panel (1) is fixed to and joined with the shelf (1 ) via the snap-fit action. Said first section (1.2) is formed by way of bending a top portion of the display panel (1) downward according to a certain diameter from a first bending point (1 .1 ), wherein said first section (1.2) clings to said frame wire (2.1). The width of the first section (1.2) may be equal to or greater than that of the display panel (1). The first section (1.2) is configured with a diameter that allows said first section (1 .2) to snap fit on the frame wire (2.1 ). Said second section (1.4) is formed by way of bending a bottom portion of the display panel (1 ) upward according to a certain diameter from a second bending point (1.3) and snap fits on a snap wire (2.3). The second section (1 .4) is configured with a diameter that allows the snap wire (2.3) to snap fit on said second section (1.4). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the second section (1.4) is configured to extend along the entire width of the display panel (1 ). Said third section (1.6) is bent downward according to a certain diameter from a third bending point (1.5) in the part following said second section (1 .4) and enables the display panel (1) to be easily mounted and dismounted. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the third section (1.6) is configured to extend along the entire width of the display panel (1 ).

[0041] Said shelf (2) refers to a structure, which has a wire structure and is capable of supporting various components (e.g., a baking tray). Said shelf (2) is formed by joining four frame wires (2.1) according to a rectangular geometry and placing a certain number of intermediate wires (2.2) between said frame wires (2.1). Said snap wire (2.3) is joined such that it is disposed below and parallel to said frame wire (2.1 ). The snap wire (2.3) is bent at the ends thereof and one of the bent ends thereof, is joined to the bottom portion of a frame wire (2.1 ). While the length of the snap wire (2.3) is preferably smaller than that of the frame wire (2.1 ), it is also possible to configure the same with a length equal to that of the frame wire (2.1 ). Here, the intended function of the snap wire (2.3) is to snap fit on a second portion (1 .4) corresponding to said snap wire (2.3).

[0042] According to the present invention, a user wishing to fix the display panel (1) to the shelf (2) first aligns said shelf (2) with said display panel (1 ) and then positions the first section (1.2) such that it snap fits, from the top, on the frame wire (2.1) where the snap wire (2.3) is present. The user then pushes the display panel (1), thereby enabling the second portion (1.4) to be joined with the snap wire (2.3) via the snap-fit action. As a result, the user is able to fit into or remove from the cooking appliance the assembled structure of display panel (1 )-shelf (2) in a practical way any time he / she desires, without having to perform the extra process such as screwing that takes time and requires additional parts. When the door of the baking oven is opened following the completion of the mounting process, it is the display panel that first welcomes the user. When the user wants to detach the display panel (1 ), he / she is able to remove said display panel (1) by gently pulling back the same by the third section (1 .6). The ability to easily attach and detach the display panel (1) also enables the process of removing and cleaning the part to be performed with ease. In this specification, the terms "top," "bottom," "upward," and "downward" refer to the orientation or positional relationship based on the orientation or positional relationship shown in the figures and are used solely for clarity and ease of explanation of the technical solution. They do not imply or indicate that the specified device or element requires a particular orientation, is constructed, or operates in a particular direction, and thus should not be understood as a limitation of the invention.
