[0042] Refer to Figure 1, which is a schematic diagram of the architecture of a media information processing system 100 provided in an embodiment of the present application. In order to support an exemplary application, the terminal (terminal 400-1 and terminal 400-2 are shown as an example) is connected to the server 200 through the network 300. The network 300 can be a wide area network or a local area network, or a combination of the two.
[0043] In some embodiments, the server 200 can be an independent physical server, or a server cluster or distributed system composed of multiple physical servers, or a cloud server that provides basic cloud computing services such as cloud services, cloud databases, cloud computing, cloud functions, cloud storage, network services, cloud communications, middleware services, domain name services, security services, content delivery networks (CDNs), and big data and artificial intelligence platforms. [0044] In actual applications, a client is provided on the terminal, and the server is the background server corresponding to the client. When the user opens the client on the terminal to browse information, the media information is displayed on the information page of the terminal. In response to the sliding operation on the media information in the information page, the media information is slid in the information page, and a topic identification request for the media information is sent to the server 200; the server 200 responds to the topic identification request, performs topic identification on the media information, and returns the identification result to the terminal; when the identification result indicates that the media information involves the target topic, the terminal displays the topic indication information corresponding to the target topic, wherein the topic indication information is used to indicate that there is topic content corresponding to the target topic; in response to the trigger operation on the topic prompt information, the topic content is displayed in the information page.
[0045] Referring to Figure 2, Figure 2 is a schematic diagram of the structure of an electronic device 500 provided in an embodiment of the present application. Taking the electronic device 500 as the terminal in Figure 1 as an example, the electronic device 500 shown in Figure 2 includes: at least one processor 510, a memory 550, at least one network interface 520 and a user interface 530. The various components in the electronic device 500 are coupled together via a bus system 540. It can be understood that the bus system 540 is used to achieve connection and communication between these components. In addition to including a data bus, the bus system 540 also includes a power bus, a control bus and a status signal bus. However, for the sake of clarity, various buses are labeled as bus system 540 in Figure 2.
[0046] The processor 510 can be an integrated circuit chip with signal processing capabilities, such as a general-purpose processor, a digital signal processor (DSP), or other programmable logic devices, discrete gate or transistor logic devices, discrete hardware components, etc., where the general-purpose processor can be a microprocessor or any conventional processor, etc.
[0047] The memory 550 includes a volatile memory or a non-volatile memory, or may include both volatile and non-volatile memories. The non-volatile memory may be a read-only memory (ROM), and the volatile memory may be a random access memory (RAM). The memory 550 described in the embodiments of the present application is intended to include any suitable type of memory. The memory 550 may optionally include one or more storage devices physically remote from the processor 510.
[0048] In some embodiments, the memory 550 can store data to support various operations, examples of which include programs, modules, and data structures, or a subset or superset thereof, as exemplified below.
[0049] The operating system 551 includes system programs for processing various basic system services and performing hardware-related tasks, such as a framework layer, a core library layer, a driver layer, etc., which are used to implement various basic businesses and process hardware-based tasks; the network communication module 552 is used to reach other electronic devices via one or more (wired or wireless) network interfaces 520. Exemplary network interfaces 520 include: Bluetooth, Wireless Compatibility Certification (WiFi), and Universal Serial Bus (USB), etc.
[0050] In some embodiments, the media information processing device provided in the embodiments of the present application can be implemented in software. The media information processing device provided in the embodiments of the present application can be provided as various software embodiments, including various forms including applications, software, software modules, scripts, or codes. Figure 2 shows a media information processing device 555 stored in the memory 550. It can be software in the form of programs and plug-ins, and includes a series of modules, including a page sliding module 5551, a first display module 5552, and a second display module 5553. These modules are logical and can be arbitrarily combined or further split according to the functions implemented. The functions of each module will be explained below.
[0051] In other embodiments, the apparatus provided in the embodiments of the present application may be implemented in hardware. As an example, the apparatus provided in the embodiments of the present application may be a processor in the form of a hardware decoding processor, which is programmed to execute the xx method provided in the embodiments of the present application. For example, the processor in the form of a hardware decoding processor may be one or more application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), digital signal processors (DSPs), programmable logic devices (PLDs), complex programmable logic devices (CPLDs), field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), or other electronic components.
[0052] In some embodiments, the terminal or server can implement the xx method provided in the embodiment of the present application by running various computer executable instructions or computer programs. For example, computer executable instructions can be commands, machine instructions or software instructions at the microprogram level. The computer program can be a native program or software module in the operating system; it can be a local application (APPlication, APP), that is, a program that needs to be installed in the operating system to run, such as an instant messaging APP; it can also be a small program that can be embedded in any APP, that is, a program that can be run only by downloading it to a browser environment. In short, the above-mentioned computer executable instructions can be instructions in any form, and the above-mentioned computer program can be an application, module or plug-in in any form.
[0053] As previously mentioned, the media information processing method provided in the embodiments of the present application can be implemented by various types of electronic devices. For example, it can be executed independently by the terminal in Figure 1, or it can be executed collaboratively by the terminal and server 200 in Figure 1. Next, the method for processing media information provided in the embodiments of the present application, executed independently by the terminal in Figure 1, will be described as an example. Referring to Figure 3, Figure 3 is a schematic flow chart of the media information processing method provided in the embodiments of the present application, which will be described in conjunction with the steps shown in Figure 3.
[0054] Step 101: In response to a sliding operation on media information in an information page, the terminal slides the media information in the information page.
[0055] In actual applications, a client is set on the terminal, such as an instant messaging client, a video playback client, a short video client, a learning client, a game client, etc. When the user opens the client on the terminal to browse information, the media information to be browsed is displayed on the information page of the terminal, where the type of media information includes at least one of text, emoticons, pictures, audio, and video.
[0056] The information page is a page provided in the client of the terminal setting for displaying media information, such as the conversation interface, friend dynamics, circle of friends, chat, forum, video stream and other information pages. As the information page is swiped (or dragged or other operations are performed), the specific content of the media information displayed in the information page (that is, the content currently displayed in the terminal's view interface) will change synchronously with the sliding of the information page. Therefore, the user can move the information page through relevant operations to view more media information in the information page.
[0057] Step 102: In response to the media information involving the target topic, displaying topic indication information of the target topic, wherein the topic indication information is used to indicate that topic content corresponding to the target topic exists in the media information.
[0058] Among them, topics are the subjects of discussion, communication or sharing of media information by users on information pages, such as current news, social practices or popular trends, including but not limited to: the Internet, interpersonal relationships, movies, music, sports, books, holiday celebrations, food, pets, jokes, world views, values, etc. The target topic can be any of the above topics.
[0059] In some embodiments, the terminal can determine whether the media information involves a target topic by performing topic identification on the media information, such as inputting the media information into a large language model (a large language model trained for topic identification) to predict and classify the topic. When the target topic is predicted, it is determined that the media information involves the target topic. The terminal can also first perform topic extraction on the media information, match the extracted topic with the candidate topic in a topic library (for storing multiple pre-set candidate topics) (such as calculating the similarity between the extracted topic and the candidate topic). When there is a candidate topic that matches the extracted topic (such as the similarity value exceeds a similarity threshold), the candidate topic that matches the extracted topic is used as the target topic, and it is determined that the media information involves the target topic.
[0060] In other embodiments, when performing topic identification on media information, target topics that match the current object can also be identified from the media information based on the object data (such as interests, hobbies, historical interactive behaviors, etc.) of the current object (i.e., the user who performs a sliding operation on the media information in the information page), such as first extracting topics from the media information, matching the extracted topics with candidate topics in the topic library, screening out candidate topics (which can be multiple) that match the extracted topics from the topic library, and then further matching the screened candidate topics that match the extracted topics with the object data of the current object, such as extracting topic features from the candidate topics that match the extracted topics, and extracting object features from the object data, and matching the topic features with the object features, such as calculating the similarity between the topic features and the object features. When the similarity between the topic features and the object features exceeds a similarity threshold (which can be set according to actual needs), the screened candidate topics that match the extracted topics are recognized as matching the object data of the current object. In this case, the candidate topics that match the extracted topics are matched with the object data of the current object. The candidate topic that matches the object data is determined as the target topic, and the media information is determined to involve the target topic. In this way, different users may perceive different target topics when browsing the same media information. For example, when different conversation objects (i.e., users) in the same conversation group browse the same conversation information in the conversation group, the target topic perceived by each conversation object is matched with its own object data. When the object data of different conversation objects are different, the target topics perceived by different conversation objects may be different. For example, when conversation object A in the same conversation group slides the conversation message in the conversation group, the target topic identified for conversation object A is "movies". When conversation object B in the conversation group slides the same conversation message, the target topic identified for conversation object B is "sports". This not only improves the accuracy of topic identification and the targetedness of topic perception, but also avoids interference of irrelevant topics on users. For example, in the above example, interference of the topic "movies" on conversation object B and interference of the topic "sports" on conversation object A can be avoided.
[0061] In some embodiments, after the terminal slides the media information in the information page, it can also display a progress bar at the edge of the information page during the sliding process of the media information, wherein the progress bar is used to indicate the sliding progress of the information page; accordingly, the terminal can display the topic indication information of the corresponding target topic in the following manner: highlight the target area on the progress bar, and use the highlighted target area as the topic indication information of the corresponding target topic; wherein the relative position of the target area on the progress bar is used to indicate the involved position of the target topic in the media information.
[0062] In actual applications, during the sliding of media information, a progress bar (with a certain width or length) can be displayed at the edge of the information page (such as the rightmost, bottommost or other non-middle area of the information page) to indicate the sliding progress of the information page (or the media information in the information page), and the target area is highlighted on the progress bar, and the highlighted target area is used as topic indication information to indicate that the media information involves the target topic and that there is topic content corresponding to the target topic in the media information.
[0063] Among them, the sliding progress of the media information indicated by the progress bar can, to a certain extent, feedback the relative position of the information content (part of the content of the media information) currently displayed in the information page in the entire media information in the information page, and the relative position of the target area on the progress bar can, to a certain extent, feedback the involvement position of the target topic in the media information. The so-called involvement position refers to the relative position of the topic content of the target topic relative to the entire content of the media information. For example, if the topic content corresponding to the target topic appears at one-third of the entire content of the media information, then the target area is located at one-third of the progress bar.
[0064] Highlighting the target area on the progress bar means displaying the target area on the progress bar in a target display style to distinguish it from other areas on the progress bar except the target area, such as displaying the target area on the progress bar in a first preset fill color (i.e., the target display style) and displaying other areas on the progress bar except the target area in a second preset fill color (different from the first preset fill color), such as displaying the target area on the progress bar in green and displaying other areas on the progress bar in gray to distinguish the target area from other areas; for another example, displaying the target area in highlight (i.e., the target display style) and displaying other areas on the progress bar in grayscale to distinguish the target area from other areas. In this way, highlighting the target area can give users a striking prompt, making it easier for users to perceive the existence of the target topic.
[0065] Referring to Figure 4, Figure 4 is a display schematic diagram of topic indication information provided by an embodiment of the present application. Taking the information page as a conversation page 401 in the group as an example, the conversation page 401 displays conversation information (i.e., the above-mentioned media information). The conversation object can change the conversation information displayed in the current information page by sliding the conversation page 401. When the conversation object slides (or drags or presses) the conversation page 401, a progress bar 402 is displayed at the edge of the conversation page (such as the rightmost side), and when the conversation information involves a target topic, a target area 403 is highlighted on the progress bar 402 to indicate the relative position of the topic content corresponding to the target topic relative to the entire content in the conversation information through the highlighted target area 403; in this way, the conversation object clearly perceives the existence of the target topic and the approximate position of the topic content corresponding to the target topic in the conversation information through the target area on the progress bar.
[0066] In some embodiments, in response to a triggering operation on the progress bar, the terminal controls the progress bar to stretch, and controls the target area to stretch synchronously with the stretching of the progress bar; wherein, stretching the target area is used to improve the convenience of triggering the area.
[0067] Among them, there are many triggering forms of triggering operations, such as triggering operations can be click operations, double-click operations, long press operations, or other operations. The embodiments of the present application do not limit the form of triggering operations.
[0068] Refer to Figure 5, which is a schematic diagram of the progress bar extension provided in an embodiment of the present application. In actual application, when the user triggers (such as pressing) the progress bar 501 (since the progress bar 501 can be dragged or slid, the progress bar 501 can be provided with a slider 502 for dragging or sliding, and pressing the progress bar 501 can also be regarded as pressing the slider 502 in the progress bar), the progress bar 501 can be controlled to extend to increase the width of the progress bar, and the target area 503 on the progress bar can be synchronously controlled to extend so that the width of the target area 503 increases (that is, the area occupied by the target area on the progress bar increases). This can improve the operability and convenience of successfully triggering the target area, so that the user can better view the topic indication information and topic content of the target topic and other information.
[0069] In some embodiments, the terminal may highlight the target area on the progress bar in the following manner: in response to the target topic having multiple involved positions in the media information, highlight the sub-areas corresponding to each involved position on the progress bar, and use the area obtained by combining each pair of sub-areas as the target area.
[0070] In practical applications, the same target topic may be referenced in multiple locations (two or more) within the media information. Still taking the information page as the conversation interface and the media information as the conversation information as an example, while discussing the same target topic through conversation information, conversation subjects within the conversation interface may intersperse other conversation information (i.e., irrelevant information) that is unrelated to the target topic or has a low relevance (e.g., a relevance below a relevance threshold, where the relevance is calculated by calculating the similarity between the conversation information and the target topic) to discuss the target topic. Therefore, multiple sub-regions corresponding to the referenced locations can be displayed discretely within the progress bar (i.e., the sub-regions are not adjacent to each other) to indicate the presence of multiple sub-topic contents related to the target topic within the conversation information. Each sub-region corresponds to a sub-topic, and the size of each sub-region (e.g., the area occupied by the sub-region on the progress bar) represents the amount of corresponding sub-topic content. All sub-regions together constitute the target region, and all sub-topic contents related to the target topic constitute the entire topic content of the target topic. In other words, each sub-topic content related to the target topic is a portion of the entire topic content corresponding to the target topic.
[0071] Refer to Figure 6, which is a display diagram of topic indication information provided by an embodiment of the present application. Taking the information page as a conversation page and the media information as conversation information as an example, user 1's conversation information 1, user 2's conversation information 3, and user 3's conversation information 5 are information related to the target topic, while user 2's conversation information 2 and user 4's conversation information 4 are information unrelated to the target topic. Then, the positions of conversation information 1, conversation information 3, and conversation information 5 in the information page can be called the involved position 1, involved position 2, and involved position 3 corresponding to the target topic. Therefore, when displaying the target area corresponding to the involved position, Sub-area 1, sub-area 2, and sub-area 3 are highlighted on the progress bar, where sub-area 1 corresponds to location 1 (or session information 1), sub-area 2 corresponds to location 2 (or session information 3), and sub-area 3 corresponds to location 3 (or session information 5). Sub-area 1, sub-area 2, and sub-area 3 are collectively referred to as the target area. In this way, the user can roughly understand the location of the target topic in the entire conversation message and the amount of sub-topic content corresponding to each location through the number and size of the sub-areas displayed in a dispersed manner on the progress bar, thereby gaining a general understanding of the entire target topic and improving the user experience.
[0072] In some embodiments, the terminal can highlight the sub-areas corresponding to each involved position on the progress bar in the following manner: respectively obtain influencing parameters for influencing the display priority of each sub-area, wherein the influencing parameters include at least one of the following: the proportion of the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-area relative to the total topic content corresponding to the target topic, the interactive heat of the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-area, and the object data of the target object of the sub-topic content (corresponding to the sub-area); based on each influencing parameter, call a neural network model to perform priority prediction to obtain the display priority of each sub-area; and use a display style corresponding to each display priority to highlight the sub-area corresponding to each involved position on the progress bar.
[0073] Here, when there are multiple locations involved in the target topic in the media information (the topic content corresponding to the same target topic is scattered in different locations), when the progress bar displays the sub-areas of each involved location, the display priority of different sub-areas may be different. Each sub-area may be displayed in a corresponding display style according to the display priority of the sub-area, that is, for sub-areas with different display priorities, each sub-area may be displayed in a different display style (such as different display order, different display color, different display brightness, different display font, etc.). For example, when there are three sub-areas, namely sub-area 1, sub-area 2 and sub-area 3, assuming that the display priorities of these three sub-areas decrease in sequence, sub-area 1 may be displayed in red font, sub-area 2 may be displayed in yellow font, and sub-area 3 may be displayed in gray font, so that users can distinguish sub-areas with different display priorities and trigger the required sub-area to quickly view the topic content corresponding to the triggered sub-area, which is conducive to improving the pertinence and efficiency of the topic content display.
[0074] When determining the display priority of each sub-region, the display priority of each sub-region can be predicted by artificial intelligence based on the influencing parameters used to influence the display priority of each sub-region. When the influencing parameters include the proportion of the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-region relative to the total topic content corresponding to the target topic, the proportion reflects how much the sub-topic content corresponding to the corresponding sub-region occupies the total topic content (i.e., the topic content corresponding to the target region). For example, the ratio between the number of words in the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-region and the number of words in the total topic content corresponding to the target topic can be used as the proportion of the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-region relative to the total topic content corresponding to the target topic. Generally, the larger the proportion, the higher the display priority of the corresponding sub-region. When the influencing parameters include the interactive heat of the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-region, the interactive heat is used to reflect the user's interactive enthusiasm for participating in the target topic. It can be measured by the number of participants in the interactive interaction on the target topic within the target time period, the number and frequency of conversation messages sent by the participating users about the target topic. Generally, the more people who interact or the more (or the greater the frequency) of conversation messages sent by the participating users about the target topic within the target time period, the higher the interactive heat and the higher the display priority corresponding to the corresponding sub-region.
[0075] In addition, the object data of the target object to which the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-region is sent can also be used as an influencing parameter, wherein the object characteristics include but are not limited to the target object's gender, level, position, and historical interaction frequency. The target object is a user related to the sub-topic content, such as the initiator of the sub-topic content (initiator), the user who participates in the discussion of the sub-topic content (participant), or the person being discussed about the sub-topic content (discussed person). The target object's object data affects the display priority of the sub-region corresponding to its associated sub-topic content. Generally speaking, the higher the level or position of the target object or the greater the historical interaction frequency, the higher the display priority of the sub-region corresponding to the sub-topic content it sends.
[0076] After obtaining the influencing parameters for influencing the display priority of the sub-region, the influencing parameters are trained in the neural network model for prediction processing to obtain the display priority of the sub-region, which can make the prediction more accurate. Before applying the neural network model, it is necessary to train the initial neural network model, and then put the trained neural network model into application to achieve the combination of influencing parameters and predict the display priority of the sub-region through artificial intelligence technology. Among them, the neural network model is trained by regional samples, the influencing parameters corresponding to the regional samples, and the display priority annotated by the regional samples. For example, based on the regional samples, the interactive heat of the sub-topic content corresponding to the regional samples, and the display priority annotated by the regional samples, the initial neural network model is called for prediction processing to obtain the predicted display priority. After determining the value of the loss function of the neural network model through the predicted display priority and the annotated display priority, it can be determined whether the value of the loss function exceeds the preset threshold. When the value of the loss function exceeds the preset threshold, the error signal of the neural network model is determined based on the loss function, and the error signal is back-propagated in the neural network model, and the model parameters of each layer are updated during the propagation process.
[0077] Among them, the embodiments of the present application do not limit the model structure of the neural network model. For example, the neural network model can be a convolutional neural network, a deep neural network, etc.; nor are they limited to the form of the loss function. For example, it can be a cross entropy loss function, an L2 loss function, etc.
[0078] Here, back propagation is explained. The training sample data is input into the input layer of the neural network model, passes through the hidden layer, and finally reaches the output layer and outputs the result. This is the forward propagation process of the neural network model. Since there is an error between the output result of the neural network model and the actual result, the error between the output result and the actual value is calculated, and the error is backpropagated from the output layer to the hidden layer until it propagates to the input layer. In the back propagation process, the value of the model parameter is adjusted according to the error, that is, the loss function is constructed according to the error between the output result and the actual value, and the partial derivative of the loss function with respect to the model parameters is calculated layer by layer to generate the gradient of the loss function with respect to the model parameters of each layer. Since the direction of the gradient indicates the direction of error expansion, the gradient of the model parameter is inverted and summed with the original parameters of the model of each layer. The summed result is used as the updated model parameters of each layer, thereby reducing the error caused by the model parameters. The above process is continuously iterated until convergence.
[0079] In some embodiments, the terminal may highlight the target area on the progress bar in the following manner: when the target area includes multiple continuous sub-areas, different filling colors are used to highlight each sub-area on the progress bar; wherein, the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-areas with different filling colors has different importance relative to the target topic, or the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-areas with different filling colors has different viewpoints on the target topic.
[0080] In actual applications, when there is only one target area, since there may be multiple pieces of information related to the target topic in the media information, each piece of information related to the target topic can be regarded as a sub-topic content of the topic content of the target topic, that is, the topic content of the target topic can be regarded as composed of various sub-topic contents, so the target area displayed on the progress bar can be regarded as composed of multiple continuous sub-areas, where one sub-area corresponds to one sub-topic content; since the importance or viewpoints of different sub-topic contents relative to the target topic may be different, different fill colors can be used to highlight each sub-area on the progress bar according to the importance or viewpoint of each sub-topic content relative to the target topic, where the fill color is used to indicate the importance or viewpoint of the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-area.
[0081] Taking the example of using fill color to indicate the importance of the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-area, the more important the sub-topic content is relative to the target topic, the darker the display color of the corresponding sub-area, and the less important the sub-topic content is relative to the target topic, the lighter the display color of the corresponding sub-area; taking the example of using fill color to indicate the opinion of the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-area, when the opinion of the sub-topic content is positive relative to the target topic, the display color of the corresponding sub-area is red, and when the opinion of the sub-topic content is negative relative to the target topic, the display color of the corresponding sub-area is green; in this way, the user can have a preliminary understanding of the importance of the sub-topic content corresponding to each sub-area or the opinion conveyed through the fill color of each sub-area on the progress bar. When the user triggers the target sub-area, the user can jump from the current displayed content to the sub-topic content corresponding to the target sub-area in the media information for display, which can improve the pertinence and efficiency of topic content viewing.
[0082] In some embodiments, the terminal may highlight the target area on the progress bar in the following manner: when the target area includes multiple consecutive sub-areas, each sub-area carrying a pointing identifier is highlighted on the progress bar; wherein, different pointing identifiers are used to indicate that the sub-topic content corresponding to the corresponding sub-area has different importance relative to the target topic, or, different pointing identifiers are used to indicate that the sub-topic content corresponding to the corresponding sub-area has different views on the target topic.
[0083] In actual applications, when there is only one target area, since there may be multiple pieces of information related to the target topic in the media information, each piece of information related to the target topic can be regarded as a sub-topic content of the topic content of the target topic, that is, the topic content of the target topic can be regarded as composed of various sub-topic contents, so the target area displayed on the progress bar can be regarded as composed of multiple continuous sub-areas, wherein one sub-area corresponds to one sub-topic content; since the importance or viewpoints of different sub-topic contents relative to the target topic may be different, each sub-area carrying a pointing mark can be highlighted on the progress bar according to the importance or viewpoint of each sub-topic content relative to the target topic, wherein the pointing mark is used to indicate the importance or viewpoint of the sub-topic content corresponding to the sub-area.
[0084] For example, a directional marker is used to indicate the importance of the sub-topic content corresponding to a sub-region. If the sub-topic content is unimportant relative to the target topic, the directional marker carried by the corresponding sub-region is "-". If the sub-topic content is important relative to the target topic, the directional marker carried by the corresponding sub-region is "+". The greater the importance, the more "+"s in the directional marker. For example, if the sub-topic content is of moderate importance, the directional marker is "+", if it is of medium importance, the directional marker is "++", and if it is very important, the directional marker is "+++". For example, if the directional marker is used to indicate the viewpoint of the sub-topic content corresponding to a sub-region, the directional marker carried by the corresponding sub-region is a "positive triangle" when the sub-topic content is a positive viewpoint relative to the target topic, and an "inverted triangle" when the sub-topic content is a negative viewpoint relative to the target topic. In this way, the user can gain a preliminary understanding of the importance or viewpoint of the sub-topic content corresponding to each sub-region through the directional markers carried by each sub-region on the progress bar. When the user triggers the target sub-region, the user can jump from the currently displayed content to the sub-topic content corresponding to the target sub-region in the media information, thereby improving the targetedness and efficiency of the topic content viewing.
[0085] In some embodiments, the terminal may highlight the target area on the progress bar in the following manner: in response to the number of target topics being multiple, multiple target areas are highlighted on the progress bar; wherein, one target area corresponds to one target topic, and the proportion of the target area relative to the progress bar corresponds to the proportion of the topic content corresponding to the target topic indicated by the target area relative to the total content of the media information.
[0086] In actual applications, when the media information in the information page involves multiple different target topics, multiple different target areas can be highlighted in the progress bar, where one target area corresponds to one target topic, and the proportion of the target area relative to the progress bar (that is, the ratio of the area of the target area to the area of the entire progress bar) corresponds to the proportion of the topic content corresponding to the target topic indicated by the target area relative to the total content of the media information. That is, the larger the area occupied by the target area, the more topic content it corresponds to. In this way, the user can have a clear understanding of the types of target topics involved in the media information and the amount of topic content corresponding to each target topic through the number and size of the target areas displayed on the progress bar. When the user triggers a target area, the current displayed content can be jumped to the topic content corresponding to the triggered target area in the media information for display, which can improve the pertinence and efficiency of viewing the topic content.
[0087] In some embodiments, the terminal may highlight the multiple target areas on the progress bar in the following manner: highlight the multiple target areas on the progress bar using different display styles, wherein one display style corresponds to one target topic.
[0088] In actual applications, when the media information in the information page involves multiple different target topics, different display styles (such as different display colors, different display brightness, different display fonts, etc.) can be used to highlight multiple different target areas in the progress bar, where one display style corresponds to one target area, that is, one display style corresponds to one target topic. For example, assuming that there are three target topics in the media information, namely target topic 1, target topic 2 and target topic 3, then on the progress bar, the first display style is used to display target area 1 (corresponding to target topic 1), the second display style is used to display target area 2 (corresponding to target topic 2), and the third display style is used to display target area 3 (corresponding to target topic 3); in this way, the user can have a clear understanding of the types of target topics involved in the media information through the types of display styles of the target areas on the progress bar. When the user triggers a target area (such as target area 3), the current display content can be jumped to the topic content of target topic 3 corresponding to the triggered target area (such as target area 3) in the media information for display, which can improve the pertinence and efficiency of topic content viewing.
[0089] In some embodiments, the terminal can highlight multiple target areas on the progress bar in the following manner: obtain an influencing factor for influencing the display order of each target area, wherein the influencing factor includes at least one of the following: the position of the topic content corresponding to the target topic indicated by the target area in the media information, the topic popularity corresponding to the target topic indicated by the target area, and the object data of the target object corresponding to the target topic indicated by the target area; based on the influencing factor, query the correspondence between different influencing factors and different display orders, and use the queried display order as the display order of each target area; and highlight each target area on the progress bar according to the display order of each target area.
[0090] In actual applications, when the media information in the information page involves multiple different target topics, when the target area corresponding to each target topic is displayed on the progress bar, the display order of each target area can be determined based on the influencing factors that affect the display order of each target area. Generally, the closer the topic content corresponding to the target topic indicated by the target area is in the media information, the closer the display order of the corresponding target area is.
[0091] The topic popularity corresponding to the target topic indicated by the target area can be characterized according to the interaction popularity of the users participating in the topic discussion on the target topic, wherein the interaction popularity (or topic popularity) is used to feedback the user's enthusiasm for participating in the interaction on the target topic, and can be measured by the number of people participating in the interaction on the target topic within the target time period, and the number and frequency of conversation messages sent by the users participating in the interaction about the target topic. Generally, the more people who interact within the target time period or the more conversation messages sent by the users participating in the interaction about the target topic (or the greater the frequency), the higher the interaction popularity (i.e., topic popularity), and the higher the display order of the corresponding target area.
[0092] The target object's object data corresponding to the target topic indicated by the target area includes but is not limited to the target object's gender, level, position, historical interaction frequency, etc. The target object is a user related to the target topic, such as the initiator of the target topic (initiator), the user who participates in the discussion of the target topic (participant), or the object of discussion of the target topic (discussed person). The target object's object data affects the display order of the target area corresponding to its associated target topic. For example, when the target object has a higher level, a higher position, or a greater historical interaction frequency, the target topic initiated by it will be displayed in the front.
[0093] After obtaining the influencing factors that affect the display order of each target area, the display order corresponding to the obtained influencing factors can be queried from the corresponding relationship, and the queried display order can be used as the display order of each target area. According to the display order of each target area, each target area can be highlighted on the progress bar.
[0094] For example, a display method is adopted in which the topic content corresponding to the target topic indicated by each target area is located in front in the media information and the display order of the corresponding target area on the progress bar is located in front, and each of the target areas on the progress bar is highlighted. That is, the closer the topic content corresponding to the target topic indicated by the target area is located in the media information, the closer the display order of the corresponding target area on the progress bar is. For example, the topic content of target topic 1 is paragraphs 1 to 10 in the media information, and the topic content of target topic 2 is paragraphs 15 to 23 in the media information, then the display order of target area 1 (corresponding to target topic 1) on the progress bar is before the display order of target area 2 (corresponding to target topic 2).
[0095] For another example, the target areas on the progress bar are highlighted by adopting a display method in which the target areas indicated by the target areas with higher topic popularity are displayed earlier in the progress bar. For another example, taking the information page as an enterprise group conversation page and the target object as the initiator of the target topic as an example, the target areas on the progress bar are highlighted by adopting a display method in which the target areas indicated by the target areas with higher levels are displayed earlier in the progress bar. For example, if target object 1 (chairman) in the enterprise group initiates target topic 1 and target object 2 (manager) initiates target topic 2, since the level of target object 1 (chairman) is higher than that of target object 2 (manager), target area 1 corresponding to target topic 1 is displayed on the progress bar before target area 2 corresponding to target topic 2.
[0096] Through the above method, users can have a clear understanding of the types of target topics involved in the media information and the position of the topic content corresponding to each target topic in the media information, or the topic popularity of each target topic through the display style of the target area corresponding to different target topics in the progress bar. When the user triggers a target area, the current display content can be jumped to the topic content of the target topic corresponding to the triggered target area in the media information for display, which can improve the pertinence and efficiency of topic content viewing.
[0097] In some embodiments, when the terminal highlights multiple target areas on the progress bar, it can also display corresponding area identifiers at the associated positions of each target area; wherein the area identifier is used to indicate the position of the target topic corresponding to the corresponding target area in the media information, or to indicate the topic popularity of the target topic corresponding to the corresponding target area, or to indicate the historical triggering frequency of the corresponding target area.
[0098] In actual applications, when the media information in the information page involves multiple different target topics, when the target area corresponding to each target topic is displayed on the progress bar, the corresponding area identifier can be displayed at the associated position of each target area. For example, when the target area indicated by each target area has a higher topic popularity, the target area indicated by the target area has an earlier display order, and each target area on the progress bar is highlighted, since the display order of each target area on the progress bar cannot reflect the position of the topic content corresponding to the target topic indicated by the target area in the media information, in this case, the area identifier can be used to indicate the position of the target topic corresponding to the corresponding target area in the media information. In this way, the user can have a clear understanding of the position of the topic content corresponding to the target topic indicated by each target area in the media information through the area identifier associated with each target area on the progress bar.
[0099] In addition, the area identifier can also be used to indicate the topic popularity of the target topic corresponding to the corresponding target area. When the topic popularity corresponding to different target topics is different, different area identifiers can be used to indicate the topic popularity of the corresponding target topic. For example, when the number of area identifiers "*" is used to indicate the level of topic popularity, the higher the topic popularity of the target topic, the more area identifiers ("*") will be displayed in association with the corresponding target area. In this way, users can have a clear understanding of the topic popularity of the target topic indicated by each target area through the area identifiers associated with each target area on the progress bar, which makes it easier for users to quickly locate and view the topic content corresponding to the required target topic, which is conducive to improving the pertinence and efficiency of the topic content display.
[0100] In addition, the area identifier can also be used to indicate the historical triggering frequency corresponding to the corresponding target area, that is, to indicate the viewing frequency of the topic content of the target topic corresponding to the corresponding target area. In this way, the user can have a clear understanding of the viewing frequency of the topic content of the target topic indicated by each target area through the area identifier associated with each target area on the progress bar, which is convenient for the user to quickly locate and view the topic content corresponding to the required target topic, which is conducive to improving the pertinence and efficiency of the topic content display.
[0101] In some embodiments, the terminal may display the topic indication information corresponding to the target topic in the following manner: displaying topic prompt information carrying a topic symbol and the target topic at a designated position in the information page.
[0102] Refer to Figure 7, which is a display diagram of the topic indication information provided by an embodiment of the present application. A topic prompt information 701 in the form of "#target topic#" can be displayed at a specified position in the information page (without affecting the relevant position of viewing media information), where "#...#" is a topic symbol. In this way, the user is reminded that the media information involves a target topic, which facilitates the user to view the topic content of the target topic in a targeted manner.
[0103] In some embodiments, the terminal may display the topic indication information corresponding to the target topic in the following manner: displaying a topic control corresponding to the target topic in an information page, and using the topic control as the topic indication information.
[0104] See Figure 8, which is a display diagram of the topic indication information provided by an embodiment of the present application. The terminal can directly display a topic prompt information 801 such as "There is a target topic, go and have a look" at a specified location on the information page (without affecting the relevant location for viewing the media information) to attract users to trigger the topic prompt information to view the topic content of the target topic. In addition, a topic control (such as a topic button) corresponding to the target topic can be displayed on the information page as topic indication information. When the media information involves multiple target topics, multiple topic controls can be displayed (i.e., one topic control corresponds to one target topic), and the user can view the topic content of the corresponding target topic by triggering the topic control.
[0105] In some embodiments, the terminal may display the topic indication information corresponding to the target topic in the following manner: dynamically display at least one interactive element corresponding to the target topic through a first subpage independent of the information page, and use the interactive element as the topic indication information.
[0106] Among them, the interactive elements can be displayed in the first sub-page in the form of function items, text links or indicator connections. For example, when the interactive elements are displayed in the first sub-page in the form of text links, the first sub-page can display a text link of "Click me to view the target topic", and the user can view the topic content of the target topic by clicking on the text link; or, the interactive elements can also be multiple expression elements displayed dynamically, see Figure 9, Figure 9 is a display diagram of the topic indication information provided by an embodiment of the present application. When the interactive elements are displayed in the first sub-page 901 in the form of multiple expression elements displayed dynamically, the first sub-page will dynamically display multiple expression elements corresponding to the target topic (that is, dynamically display the topic prompt information of the target topic in the form of expression rain (such as displaying multiple clickable topics)), and the user can view the topic content of the target topic by clicking on the target expression element among the multiple expression elements displayed dynamically; in this way, the diversity and interactivity of the display of topic prompt information can be improved.
[0107] Step 103: In response to the triggering operation on the topic prompt information, the topic content is displayed on the information page.
[0108] Here, when the user triggers the topic prompt information, the terminal responds to the trigger operation and displays the topic content corresponding to the target topic in the information page, that is, the content displayed on the information page of the terminal before the topic prompt information is triggered is jumped to the topic content corresponding to the target topic in the media information for display, which can improve the pertinence and efficiency of topic content viewing.
[0109] In some embodiments, the terminal can display the topic content in the information page in the following manner: when the information content currently displayed on the information page is not related to the target topic, slide the media information to the target position, and switch the information content to display the topic content located at the target position; wherein, the target position includes at least one of the following: the starting position of the target topic, the location of the exciting topic content corresponding to the target topic, and the location of the topic content published by the target object for the target topic.
[0110] Here, when the information content currently displayed on the information page is irrelevant to the target topic and the user triggers the topic prompt information, the terminal responds to the trigger operation, slides the media information to the target position corresponding to the target topic, and displays the topic content at the target position at the target position.
[0111] The target location can be the starting location of the target topic (i.e., the location where the target topic is opened in the media information). The content currently displayed on the information page is positioned at the starting location of the target topic. The user can view the topic content of the target topic starting from the starting location of the target topic, which facilitates the user to have a comprehensive understanding of the target topic. The target location can also be the location of the exciting topic content corresponding to the target topic. The exciting topic content can be the content with the highest interactive popularity related to the target topic, or it can be summary content that summarizes the target topic. Positioning the content currently displayed on the information page at the location of the exciting topic content of the target topic facilitates the user to quickly learn about the exciting content of the target topic, which can improve the relevance and efficiency of viewing the topic content. The target location can also be the location of the topic content posted by the target subject on the target topic. Positioning the content currently displayed on the information page at the location of the topic content posted by the target subject on the target topic allows the user to quickly locate and view the views of a specific subject on the target topic, such as locating the content posted by the manager on the target topic in the enterprise conversation group, or locating the content posted by the head teacher on the target topic in the class conversation group, which can improve the relevance and efficiency of viewing the topic content.
[0112] In some embodiments, the terminal may display the topic content in the information page in the following manner: displaying the topic content in the information page through a floating layer or pop-up window; or displaying the topic content through a second sub-page independent of the information page, the second sub-page having a preset transparency.
[0113] In actual applications, when displaying the topic content of the target topic, it can also be displayed in a floating layer manner, wherein the size of the floating layer can be set according to actual needs. When the topic content is large, a larger floating layer can be presented to fully display the topic content, or a smaller floating layer can be displayed to partially display the topic content. In this case, the floating layer can be associated with a progress drop-down bar, and the remaining part of the topic content can be displayed by dragging the progress drop-down bar. In addition, the topic content corresponding to the target topic can also be displayed through a pop-up window floating above the information page, wherein the display position of the pop-up window on the information page moves synchronously with the user's dragging operation. In addition, the topic content can also be displayed through a second sub-page independent of the information page, wherein the second sub-page can have a preset transparency, and the relevant content of the media information of the information page below can be seen through the second sub-page, meeting the diverse display needs of information.
[0114] In some embodiments, after the terminal displays the topic content in the information page, it can also display the extended topic content in the following manner: display the extended entrance corresponding to the topic content, respond to the trigger operation on the extended entrance, jump from the information page to the extended page, and display the extended topic content in the extended page.
[0115] The extended entry is used to display extended topic content for the target topic, and the extended entry can exist in the form of a web link, a keyword carrying a topic symbol (such as #), etc.
[0116] 10 , which is a schematic diagram of the display of the extended topic content provided by an embodiment of the present application. While the terminal displays the topic content 1001 related to the target topic in the media information in the current information page, it can also display an extended entry 1002 for expanding the topic content 1001. In response to a trigger operation on the extended entry 1002, the terminal jumps from the information page to the extended page. For example, when the extended entry 1002 is a web link, the extended page is the web page 1003 indicated by the web link, and the extended topic content 1004 related to the target topic is displayed in the extended page 1003, such as discussions about the target topic on the Internet. In this way, the user can not only view the relevant content of the media information related to the target topic in the information page, but also view the relevant content related to the target topic in addition to the media information in the information page, thereby meeting the user's needs for diversified information acquisition.
[0117] Through the above method, when the terminal slides the media information in the information page, if the media information in the information page involves the target topic, the topic indication information corresponding to the target topic is displayed. Since the topic indication information is used to indicate that there is topic content corresponding to the target topic in the media information, this enables the user to easily perceive the existence of relevant content of the target topic in the media information; and, when a trigger operation for the topic prompt information is received, the topic content is directly displayed in the information page. In this way, the user does not need to slide the media information in the information page to the location of the relevant content of the target topic, and can locate and display the topic content of the target topic in the information page, thereby improving the efficiency of obtaining the topic content.
[0118] Next, an exemplary application of the embodiment of the present application in a practical application scenario will be described. Taking the information page as a conversation page and the topic prompt information displayed as the target area on the progress bar as an example, the method for processing media information provided by the embodiment of the present application will be further described.
[0119] In actual applications, users participating in a conversation communicate by sending conversation messages on a conversation page. A terminal receives x (x is a positive integer) pieces of conversation messages (i.e., the aforementioned media information) on the conversation page. These conversation messages may be identified as (M1, M2, ..., Mx) in the order in which they are displayed on the conversation page. The terminal then uses a local semantic understanding model to perform topic identification on these conversation messages and, based on the topic identification results, determines whether these conversation messages relate to a specific topic. When the topic identification results indicate that these conversation messages relate to multiple topics, such as when the message interval (Ma-Mb) corresponds to topic 1 and (Mc-Md) corresponds to topic 2 (topics 1 and 2 are independent of each other), topic indication information indicating that the conversation messages relate to topics 1 and 2 is displayed. For example, a progress bar is displayed on the edge of the conversation page (e.g., the far right), and target areas 1 and 2 are highlighted on the progress bar. The highlighted target areas 1 and 2 on the progress bar serve as topic indication information, where target area 1 indicates that the conversation messages relate to topic 1, and target area 2 indicates that the conversation messages relate to topic 2.
[0120] Among them, the implementation method of the above-mentioned progress bar is: assuming that the default length of the loaded information page is Y0, the terminal will load more page lengths one by one as the page slides, and the length of the page loaded each time is Yn, and the overall length of the progress bar is set to y, wherein the length y of the progress bar maintains a certain mapping ratio with the page length Y0. When the user drags the progress bar, the information page also slides according to the mapping ratio.
[0121] When determining the display positions of target area 1 and target area 2 on the progress bar, the terminal locates the starting point Ma of the information interval (Ma-Mb) and the information length of (Ma-Mb), as well as the starting point Mc of the information area (Mc-Md) and the information length of (Mc-Md), and maps them using a mapping ratio to obtain the topic position interval of target area 1 on the progress bar corresponding to topic 1, and the topic position interval of target area 2 on the progress bar corresponding to topic 2. Then, by coloring the topic position intervals on the progress bar (i.e., target area 1 and target area 2), for example, green, a visual reminder to the user is achieved, such as the green-displayed target area 1 reminds the user that the session information involves topic 1, and the green-displayed target area 2 reminds the user that the session information involves topic 2.
[0122] When the user clicks on the topic indication information highlighted on the progress bar, the user can quickly locate the topic content corresponding to the topic indicated by the topic indication information in the conversation page (that is, the conversation information about the topic). For example, when the user clicks on the target area 1 on the above progress bar, the terminal quickly locates the starting point Ma of the information interval (Ma-Mb) corresponding to topic 1, and displays the information interval (Ma-Mb) corresponding to topic 1 in the current information page. When the user clicks on the target area 2 on the above progress bar, the terminal quickly locates the starting point Mc of the information interval (Mc-Md) corresponding to topic 2, and displays the information interval (Mc-Md) corresponding to topic 2 in the current information page. This can improve the pertinence and efficiency of topic content positioning.
[0123] So far, the method for processing media information provided by the embodiment of the present application has been described in combination with the exemplary application and implementation of the electronic device provided by the embodiment of the present application.
