Abstract
Description
rice transplanter
[0001] The present invention relates to a rice transplanter equipped with a seedling carrier for planting seedlings.
[0002] Conventionally, rice transplanters have been known in which one or both sides of a seedling-planting platform for planting seedlings are folded toward the center when not in use. For example, as shown in Patent Document 1, a rice transplanter is known in which the seedling-planting platform has asymmetric left and right seedling-planting platform sections that are foldable in the left-right direction, the chemical spraying device includes a guide rail that runs along the left-right direction and a mobile sprayer that is guided by the guide rail and moves laterally along the seedling-planting surface, the guide rail is composed of multiple divided guide rails with different left-right lengths and fixed to each seedling-planting platform section, and the longer divided guide rails are arranged so that they are positioned further forward than the shorter divided guide rails when in use.
[0003] JP 2014-187942 A
[0004] However, in such rice transplanters, even when the seedling tray is folded, the chemical spraying device is not folded.
[0005] The present invention takes into consideration the problems with conventional rice transplanters and aims to prevent the seedling tray from protruding backward when folding the seedling tray by preventing the guide rails from getting in the way.
[0006] The first invention comprises a seedling tray (2) mounted at the rear of a vehicle body (1), with one or both of the left and right side sections movable toward the center and foldable, a guide rail (3) arranged in the left-right direction along the seedling tray (2), and a chemical spraying device (5) having a sprayer for applying chemicals that moves left and right on the guide rail (3), wherein one or both of the left and right ends of the guide rail (3) can be moved toward the center of the guide rail (3) and folded, and the center of the guide rail (3) is supported by a support pillar (6) erected on the seedling tray (2) so as to be movable forward and backward, When folding the seedling carrying tray (2), first one or both of the left and right ends of the guide rail (3) are folded, and the support pole (6) is moved forward compared to its normal position, and then the seedling carrying tray (2) is folded so that the folded guide rail (3) is sandwiched between one or both of the left and right sides of the folded seedling carrying tray (2) and the central side of the seedling carrying tray (2).
[0007] The second invention is the rice transplanter of the first invention, which is provided with a regulating member (17) that regulates movement for folding to a predetermined position toward the central side so that the seedling carrying table (2) does not come into contact with the guide rail (3) or its accessories when either or both of the left and right side portions of the seedling carrying table (2) are folded toward the central side.
[0008] The third invention is a rice transplanter according to the second invention, characterized in that the seedling carrying platform (2), which can be folded by moving either one or both of the left and right sides, is configured to move to the central side by a moving mechanism, and the moving angle by the moving mechanism is more than 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees.
[0009] The fourth aspect of the present invention is the rice transplanter of any one of the first to third aspects of the present invention, wherein one or both of the left and right ends of the guide rail (3) are detachably supported by a support frame (10) that is movably erected on one or both of the left and right sides of the folding seedling carrying tray (2), and when the guide rail (3) is folded, the support frame (10) is separated from one or both of the left and right ends of the guide rail (3), and further, the support frame (10) moves to retract from the erected state, and then one or both of the left and right sides of the seedling carrying tray (2) are folded.
[0010] According to the present invention, by tilting the guide rail forward, the guide rail does not get in the way when folding the seedling tray, and the seedling tray can be prevented from protruding backward.

[0012] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[0013] Fig. 1 is a side view of a rice transplanter according to an embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the rice transplanter, focusing on a seedling carrier. In the following, the forward and backward directions and the left and right directions are defined based on the traveling direction of the rice transplanter.
[0014] In Figures 1 and 2, (1) is a vehicle body, and a seedling tray (2) is mounted on the rear of the vehicle body (1). The seedling tray (2) can be folded by rotating (rotating) the left and right side portions (2a, 2a) toward the center side portion (2b).
[0015] Furthermore, a guide rail (3) is arranged in the left-right direction along the seedling tray (2). This guide rail (3) is surrounded by a decorative member (3c). This decorative member (3c) and other wiring are examples of accessories of the present invention. Also provided is a sprayer (4) that moves left and right on the guide rail (3) to spray a chemical. This guide rail (3) and the sprayer (4) constitute a chemical spraying device (5). This decorative member (3c) functions as a resin cable carrier cover.
[0016] The left and right ends (3a, 3a) of the guide rail (3) can be rotated toward the center (3b) of the guide rail (3) and folded.
[0017] Figure 3 shows the rear of the rice transplanter, and Figure 4 shows the left end of the guide rail (3) surrounded by the decorative member (3c). Figure 5 is a perspective view showing the outline of the guide rail (3) surrounded by the decorative member (3c). Figure 6 is a perspective view from below of the left and right end portions (3a) and the central portion (3b) abutting against each other. Figure 7 is a perspective view from above of the left and right end portions (3a) and the central portion (3b) abutting against each other. Figures 8 and 9 are perspective views showing the left and right end portions (3a) rotated upward by approximately 90 degrees. Figure 10 is a perspective view showing the left and right end portions (3a) rotated 180 degrees and placed on the central portion (3b).
[0018] That is, as shown in FIG. 7, the left and right end portions (3a) of the guide rail (3) are connected to the center portion (3b) by hinges (7) at the upper sides of the respective ends.
[0019] On the other hand, as shown in Figures 5 and 6, the left and right end portions (3a) of the guide rail (3) are connected to the central portion (3b) at the bottom by fasteners (so-called snap locks) (8). Therefore, by simply removing the fasteners (8), the left and right end portions (3a) of the guide rail (3) can be easily rotated upward and folded onto the top surface of the central portion (3b). Even when folded, the fasteners (8) can also be used to secure the left and right end portions (3a) to the central portion (3b).
[0020] In FIG. 10, (3c1) and (3c2) are convex and concave portions, which are positioning parts that ensure that the left and right ends (3a) and the center (3b) abut in the correct position when the cover is unfolded and extended.
[0021] Next, Figure 11 is a perspective view of the seedling tray (2), showing the guide rail (3) surrounded by the decorative member (3c) in an operational state. Figure 12 is a side view, showing the guide rail (3) surrounded by the decorative member (3c) standing almost vertically and spaced apart from the seedling tray (2). In this state, the sprayer (4) moves left and right on the guide rail (3) to spray the chemical. Note that the hopper that holds the chemical in the sprayer (4) is omitted from the figure.
[0022] Figure 15 shows the guide rail (3) surrounded by the decorative member (3c) folded upward as described above, and a gear driven by a motor inside the spreader (4) engages with a rack (9) fixed to the front of the guide rail (3), allowing the spreader (4) to move left and right on the guide rail (3). A fixed chain may be used instead of the rack.
[0023] In Figure 15, a support post (6) for supporting the guide rail (3) surrounded by a decorative member (3c), the rack (9), etc., is erected on the seedling tray (2). That is, the upper end (6a) of the support post (6) is fixed to the guide rail (3), and the lower end (6b) is connected to a bracket (2c) provided on the seedling tray (2) by a support shaft (2d) so as to be rotatable in the front-rear direction.
[0024] On the other hand, an arm (6c) having a long hole (6c1) drilled therein and extending forward in an arc shape is fixed near the upper end (6a) of the seedling tray (2) (see Figure 19). Also, a sub-support (6d) is erected on the central side (2b) of the seedling tray (2) at a position opposite the position of the arm (6c).
[0025] Furthermore, the elongated hole (6c1) of the arm (6c) and the upper end (6d1) of the sub-support (6d) can be fixed at any position by a knob bolt (6e). The knob bolt (6e) is an example of a connector of the present invention.
[0026] Such combinations of support pillars (6), brackets (2c), arms (6c), sub-pillars (6d), etc. are provided at three locations in the left-right direction on the central portion (3b) of the guide rail (3) (see Figure 18).
[0027] Figure 17 shows the state in which the support post (6) is tilted forward, bringing the guide rail (3) surrounded by the decorative member (3c) close to the seedling tray (2). Figure 13 is a perspective view showing the entire seedling tray (2) in this state. Figure 14 is a side view. That is, by loosening the knob bolt (6e), moving the arm (6c) forward, the guide rail (3) approaches the seedling tray (2) and is tilted forward until the tip (6d1) of the sub-post (6d) is at the rear end of the elongated hole (6c1), and then tightening the knob bolt (6e), the guide rail (3) surrounded by the decorative member (3c) is stably fixed in a low position.
[0028] During normal operation, the left and right ends (3a) of the guide rail (3) surrounded by the decorative member (3c) are not folded but are unfolded, but the outermost ends (3a1) of the left and right ends (3a) (see Figures 4, 5, 11, 12, and 18) are connected to the seedling tray (2) as described below, which allows for stable spraying of the chemical.
[0029] The outer ends (3a1) of the left and right ends (3a) of the guide rail (3) are provided with fasteners (8) (see Figure 4). Furthermore, at the position of the seedling tray (2) where the outer ends (3a1) face, a triangular support frame (10) is erected so as to be rotatable outward (see Figures 5, 11, and 20). The tip (10a) of this support frame (10) and the outer ends (3a1) of the left and right ends (3a) of the guide rail (3) can be easily attached and detached by operating the fasteners (8) (see Figure 4).
[0030] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 21, this support frame (10) can be rotated outward from the upright position described above so as to be parallel to the surfaces of the left and right side portions (2a) of the seedling tray (2). When folding the left and right side portions (2a) of the seedling tray (2), if the triangular support frame (10) remains upright, it will get in the way of the guide rails (3) and the central side portion (2b) of the seedling tray (2), so it can be unfolded outward so as not to get in the way.
[0031] That is, as shown in Figure 20, the side (10b) of the triangular support frame (10) facing the seedling tray (2) is composed of a long, slender rod (10b) that extends upward and slightly downward. The lower end (10b1) of the rod (10b) is rotatably supported by a bracket (11) fixed to the seedling tray (2), as shown in Figures 22 and 23. A protrusion (10b2) is welded to the rod (10b) slightly above the lower end (10b1), and a convex portion protrudes downward from the underside of the tip of the protrusion (10b2). Furthermore, a guide piece (12) is welded to the bracket (11) fixed to the seedling tray (2) slightly above the bracket (11). Two holes (12a1, 12a2) are drilled in the guide piece (12). The guide piece (12) is located below the protrusion (10b2).
[0032] The shape and size of the projection (10b2) are such that the protrusion on the lower surface of the tip of the projection (10b2) can fit into the holes (12a1, 12a2). Note that (13) is a reinforcing plate for the triangular support frame (10).
[0033] As shown in Figure 26, this rod member (10b) has a spring (14) fitted to its upper end, allowing it to be moved up and down by hand. That is, when the rod member (10b) is lifted upward, the protruding portion of the protruding piece (10b2) that was engaged with one of the holes (12a1, 12a2) of the guide piece (12) is released, allowing the triangular support frame (10) to be deployed outward or closed inward. Simply align the protruding portion with the hole (12a1, 12a2) on the side you want to position and then lower the rod member (10b). Hole (12a1) is a hole for positioning when deployed outward, and hole (12a2) is a hole for positioning when the frame is installed upright for work.
[0034] Furthermore, Figure 25 shows a diagram in which a dew-cleaning rod (15) for holding down and sorting seedlings to some extent is inserted and stored using the open hole (12a2) (see Figure 23). That is, when the left and right side portions (2a) of the seedling-carrying tray (2) are folded when not in use, the support frame (10) is deployed outward as described above, and as a result, the protrusions are removed from the hole (12a2), leaving the hole (12a2) empty. The empty hole (12a2) can then be used to store the dew-cleaning rod (15), as shown in Figure 25.
[0035] In this way, when working, the triangular support frame (10) cannot be erected and work cannot be performed unless the dew sweeper rod (15) is removed, so that forgetting to attach the dew sweeper rod (15) to its original position can be prevented.
[0036] For this purpose, the thickness of the part of the demolition rod (15) that is inserted into the hole (12a2) must be smaller than the diameter of the hole (12a2).
[0037] Next, Figure 27 is a perspective view from the rear showing the seedling tray 2 with the left and right side sections 2a folded. Figure 28 is a schematic view from the bottom of the rear. Here, (16) is a folding shaft frame, which is erected on the seedling tray 2, and the left and right side sections 2a can be folded inward around the shaft (16a).
[0038] As shown in Figure 28, a control rod (17) is fixed in an upright position on the upper outermost side of the left and right side sections (2a), and when the left and right side sections (2a) are folded, it stands upright toward the central section (2b) of the seedling tray (2), i.e., facing downward. On the other hand, at the position to which the control rod (17) moves as it is folded on the central section (2b) of the seedling tray (2), a receiving rod (18) with a recess at its upper end is erected, so as to receive the lower end of the control rod (17) as it moves downward. This control rod (17) is an example of a control member of the present invention.
[0039] With this structure, when the left and right side portions (2a) of the seedling carrier (2) are folded, a space of a predetermined size can be formed between the left and right side portions (2a) and the central portion (2b), preventing the seedling carrier (2) from colliding with the guide rail (3) surrounded by the decorative member (3c) that is folded and placed in that space. The sprayer (4) is stopped between the support posts (6).
[0040] In addition, to prevent malfunctions in driving the sprayer (4) when stored, the following structure is used. That is, of the left and right ends (3a), the sprayer (4) is normally powered from the right end (3a). Now, when folding the left and right ends (3a), or when folding only the right end (3a), the power connector is naturally disconnected before folding, so there is no need to worry about the sprayer (4) moving.
[0041] On the other hand, when folding only the left end (3a) without folding the right end (3a), the spreader (4) is powered, and there is a risk that the spreader (4) may move and fall from the open part of the fold on the left side due to malfunction.
[0042] Therefore, to prevent the container from falling, it is desirable to provide a stopper (19) that protrudes when folded near the crease that opens when folded. For example, in Figures 10 and 15, (20) is the end face of the crease on the central portion (3b) side, and (21) is the end face of the crease on the left and right end portions (3a) side, which abut against each other when not folded, and as shown in Figure 15, the stopper (19) can protrude from the vicinity of the end face toward the sprayer (4).
[0043] More specifically, as shown in Figures 16(A) and (B) (plan views with the hinge 7 omitted), a stopper mechanism is disposed inside the central portion (3b) near the end surface (20). Figure 16(A) shows the state in which the left and right end portions (3a) are unfolded and extended, while Figure 16(B) shows the state in which the left and right end portions (3a) are being folded upward.
[0044] A shaft (22) is disposed inside the central portion (3b) and is oriented parallel to the longitudinal direction (left-right direction) of the central portion (3b). The shaft (22) is held by a holding portion (24) fixed to the central portion (3b) so that the shaft (22) can slide left and right. Furthermore, a flange (23) is fixed midway along the shaft (22), and a compression spring (25) is provided between the flange (23) and the holding portion (24). Therefore, when no external force is applied, the shaft (22) protrudes outward from the hole (20a) in the end face (20) as shown in Figure 16(B).
[0045] Furthermore, a rod-shaped stopper (19) is disposed near the center of the shaft (22). This stopper (19) is rotatably supported by a fulcrum (26) fixed to the center portion (3b). Furthermore, a fastening portion (27) of a tension spring (28) is disposed below the stopper (19), and the tension spring (28) is attached between the fastening portion (27) and an extension portion (31) at the lower end of the stopper (19) to pull the extension portion (31) at the lower end. In addition, the right end of the shaft (22) can abut near the center of the stopper (19), but in the state shown in Figure 16 (B), since no force is received from the shaft (22), the stopper (19) rotates counterclockwise in the drawing due to the tensile force of the tension spring (28), and the tip (19a) of the stopper (19) protrudes from a slit (30) drilled in the wall of the central portion (3b), thereby preventing the spreader (4) from moving.
[0046] In contrast, as shown in Figure 16 (A), when the left and right end portions (3a) are not folded, the end faces (21) of the left and right end portions (3a) push the left end of the shaft (22), and the right end of the shaft (22) pushes the center of the stopper (19) to the right. As a result, the tip (19a) of the stopper (19) rotates clockwise and retracts inward from the slit (30), and the movement of the spreader (4) is not blocked.
[0047] In this way, when the stopper (19) is in the protruding state, even if the spreader (4) moves, it is stopped there and prevented from falling.
[0048] As shown in Figure 16, the outer edge (30a) of the slit (30) is positioned so that it will come into contact with the stopper (19) when the stopper (19) protrudes perpendicularly to the surface of the guide rail (3). This ensures safety even if the spreader (4) tries to fall out, as the stopper (19) that the spreader (4) has come into contact with comes into contact with the outer edge of the slit (30) and is not physically able to move outward any further.
[0049] Regardless of whether or not the sprayer (4) is energized, it is desirable that the stopper mechanism be provided on both the left and right sides for safety reasons.
[0050] The operation of the rice transplanter of this embodiment will be described below.
[0051] When carrying out trial feeding or performing work, the spreader (4) is moved from the right end to the left end from any position as shown in Figure 29, and finally moved to the center position on the left and right sides of the seedling loading table (2) and stopped there.
[0052] In contrast, when storing the sprayer (4), as shown in FIG. 30 , the sprayer (4) is moved from the right end to the left end and finally moved to a position offset from the center position and stopped. That is, the sprayer (4) is stopped in a location where no support pillar (6) is erected. As described above, the guide rail (3) surrounded by the decorative member (3c) is rotated forward by approximately 30 degrees during storage, and it is necessary to prevent the sprayer (4) from colliding with the sub-pillar (6d) where the support pillar (6) is located. In this embodiment, the support pillar (6) is located in the center, so in such a case, the sprayer is stopped in a position offset, for example, 250 mm to the right from the center position. If the support pillar (6) is not located in the center position, the sprayer is stopped offset from the location of the support pillar (6) and the sub-pillar (6d) facing it.
[0053] Next, as shown in Figure 18(A), the outer ends (3a1) of the left and right end portions (3a) are disconnected from the tip (10a) of the support frame (10). That is, the fasteners (8) shown in Figure 4 are manually removed, and then the fasteners (8) shown in Figures 5 and 6 are also manually removed. After this, as shown in Figures 9, 10, and 18(B), the left and right end portions (3a) are folded and fixed to the top surface of the center portion (3b) with the fasteners (8).
[0054] Next, the guide rail (3) surrounded by the decorative member (3c) folded in this way is tilted forward, i.e., toward the seedling tray (2). Specifically, as shown in Figures 13, 14, and 17, the support post (6) supporting the guide rail (3) is tilted forward using the support shaft (2d) as a fulcrum. To do this, loosen the knob bolt (6e) that had been fixed in place until then, and rotate the arm (6c) forward. At this time, the elongated hole (6c1) of the arm (6c) is guided along the tip (6d1) of the sub-post (6d) erected on the seedling tray (2).
[0055] Thereafter, when the support column (6) reaches the rear end of the elongated hole (6c1), the knob bolt (6e) is retightened to fix the support column (6) in that position. In other words, the guide rail (3) surrounded by the decorative member (3c) is fixed in a position where it is tilted forward.
[0056] Next, as shown in Figures 21, 23, and 24, the support frames (10) on both sides are opened outward. Specifically, first, the rod member (side) (10b) shown in Figure 20 is manually lifted against the spring (14) as shown in Figure 26. As a result, the convex portion formed on the underside of the protrusion (10b2) that had been welded to the lower end (10b1) of the rod member (10b) as shown in Figure 22 is removed from the outer hole (12a2) of the guide piece (12) fixed to the seedling tray (2). While the rod member (10b) is lifted in this manner, the support frame (10) is opened outward. When the convex portion reaches the inner hole (12a1) of the guide piece (12), the rod member (10b) is released, and the convex portion is inserted into the inner hole (12a1) by the biasing force of the spring (14).
[0057] This means that when the support frame (10) is open, that is, it is positioned on the same plane as the left and right side portions (2a) of the seedling tray (2), and when the left and right side portions (2a) are folded as described below, there is no risk of interference with the guide rails (3) surrounded by the decorative members (3c), etc.
[0058] When the support frame (10) is opened in this manner, the outer hole (12a2) is opened, and the lower end of the dew sweeper rod (15) that is not used during storage can be inserted into this hole to serve as a temporary storage location, as shown in Figure 25. When working, the dew sweeper rod (15) is returned to its original position, the hole (12a2) is opened, and it is used to close the support frame (10).
[0059] Next, as shown in Figures 27 and 28, the left and right side portions (2a) of the seedling tray (2) are folded toward the central side portion (2b) around the axis (16a) of the folding axis frame (16) as a support axis (see Figures 12, 13, and 14). At this time, as shown in Figures 2 and 28, the male tips of the regulating rods (regulating members) (17) erected on the left and right side portions (2a) abut against the female tips of the receiving rods (18) erected on the central side portion (2b), ensuring a certain distance. Specifically, the folding axis frame (16) can be stopped at 175 degrees instead of 180 degrees. This prevents the left and right side portions (2a) from interfering with the guide rail (3) surrounded by the previously folded decorative member (3c). This allows for safe storage.
[0060] Conventionally, when the sprayer (4) is located at the center of the vehicle body, a balance move is performed to ensure the levelness of the seedling tray (2). However, as described above, since the storage position is shifted from the center, it is desirable to operate the seedling tray (2) and perform the balance move after spraying has begun and the tray has reached the center of the vehicle body.
[0061] In addition, in the above embodiment, as shown in each figure, three sets of support pillars (6), arms (6c), sub-pillars (6d), etc. are provided, one in the center and one on each side, but this is not limited to this, and two or four or more sets may be used.
[0062] The present invention relates to a rice transplanter equipped with a seedling carrier for planting seedlings, and is ideal for rice transplanters because it can prevent the seedling carrier from protruding backward when folded.
