[0001] The present invention relates to the compositions suitable for optimizing mineral building materials in such a way as to positively influence fluidity and density before curing, as well as surface quality after curing. Background of the Invention

[0002] Silicone defoamer formulations are well known for use in a wide variety of applications (e.g. pulp and paper, chemical, textile, fermentation and sugar beet processing, water treatment, metal working, etc. ) along with use in paints, latexes, cement, fertilizers, soaps and detergents. Such formulations traditionally include multiple constituents, the most important of which is a silicone “defoaming agent. ” Such agents are sometimes also known as antifoaming agents, foam control agents, suds suppressors and foam inhibitors.

[0003] Silicone Polyethers (SPEs) , also known as polyorganosiloxane-polyether block copolymers or polyether siloxanes, polyether modified polysiloxane, are an important class of components in defoaming agents. Silicone Polyethers, optionally in a mixture with polypropylene glycol, have already been used therein for a long time as an antifoaming agent where good compatibility is required e.g. corresponding to DE-B 22 22 998. The polyether siloxanes have 6-420 polydimethylsiloxane units and 3-30 siloxane units which carry a polyether group. US 5271868 discloses a defoamer composition capable of exhibiting high antifoaming activity even at elevated temperatures and having excellent durability so that it can be used in dyeing processes. The defoaming composition comprises, in addition to a silicone oil compound and a silica filler, a poly (oxyethylene-oxypropylene) copolymer, a silicone polyether having polyoxyalkylene groups consisting of two different types relative to the molar proportion of the oxyethylene units and oxypropylene units.

[0005] CN114026153B discloses a foam control agent comprising a linear polyorganosiloxane-polyether block copolymer comprising a single block of polyorganosiloxane having a DP of from 10 to 200 and a single block Polyether block having a DP of from 2 to 60.

[0006] CN101966403A discloses a defoaming formulation comprising Silicone Polyethers prepared by mixing allyl polyether, allyl polypropoxylate and polysiloxane with Si-bonded hydrogen.

[0007] US5543082 discloses a defoaming agent containing silicone polyether for strong acids and bases, and embodiments disclose the use of several silicone polyethers in combination, and do not  mention how the silicone polyethers will be applied to mineral building material.

[0008] Mineral building material and their importance are known to the skilled person and are widely described in the literature, as for example by Leopolder, ZKG International, 32 in No. 4 (2010) or Schumacher M. in Baustoffpraxis, 22, volume 12 (2009) .

[0009] Among the mineral building material, particular importance attaches to fluid compositions such as screeds, Grouting materials and self-levelling compositions.

[0010] Grouting materials are used to fill and reinforce gaps and holes in building structures to improve their strength, stability and durability. It is typically mixed with water and grouted into the equipment foundation, where it flows and fills the gaps. Grouting materials have good self-flowing properties, rapid hardening, early strength, high strength, no shrinkage, and micro-expansion.

[0011] Self-levelling compositions are flooring materials that can flow and level after being mixed with water or auxiliary paving. Self-levelling compositions including self-levelling overlayments (SLOs) and self-levelling underlayments (SLUs) .

[0012] Self-levelling overlayments (SLOs) is a self-levelling mortar with abrasion resistance for the fine levelling of floors to provide a flat and / or smooth surface which can be used as a decorative layer or after coating other finishing materials. It is therefore required to have particular properties: they must be able to flow out easily, in order to compensate unevennesses in the floor, while retaining good processing qualities; after flowing out, they must cure to a firm and highly robust layer which has excellent load-bearing capacity and resistance to wear and abrasion, as well as an extremely smooth surface.

[0013] Self-levelling underlayments (SLUs) is a self-levelling mortar for the levelling of floors to provide a flat and / or smooth surface which can be used to carry the upper layer of finish surfacing material. It is therefore required to have particular properties: they must be able to flow out easily, in order to compensate unevennesses in the floor, while retaining good processing qualities; after flowing out, they must cure to a firm and highly robust layer which has good load-bearing capacity; and at the same time must have a surface which, while being extremely smooth, continues to have good adhesion properties, in order to allow an overlay to be applied reliably and durably to the floor-levelling composition.

[0014] CN103429551A discloses the use of specific mass ratios of nonionic or amphoteric surfactants to defoamers in mineral building material, which particularly favorably affects the flow characteristics of the composite and the removal of air from the composite, thus allowing for extremely smooth, virtually non-porous surfaces.Summary of the Invention

[0015] The objective of the present invention was to provide compositions that improve fluidity and density before curing, surface quality after curing, and ease of preparation and application when used in mineral building material, particularly in Grouting materials or self-levelling compositions.

[0016] The present invention's compositions exhibit excellent synergistic effects in optimizing flow properties and removing air from composites, resulting in extremely smooth and virtually non-porous surfaces after curing. Furthermore, these compositions exhibit excellent storage resistance, as evidenced by their performance before and after storage at 50℃, with no discernible difference in use for mineral building material.

[0017] The mineral building material in this invention exhibits improved fluidity and higher density prior to curing, as well as better surface quality, compressive strength, and abrasion resistance after curing.

[0131] polyoxyalkylene: polypropylene glycol (PPG) , molecular weight of 2000 g / mol.

[0132] The defoaming composition was prepared by mixing the aforesaid Silicone polyether and / or polyoxyalkylene, in the form of an oil mixture, an emulsion or a powder, without limitation.

[0133] The preparation of the defoaming powder:

[0134] Silicone polyether 1, silicone polyether 2 and / or polyoxyalkylene were added to the vessel in batches according to the proportions in Table 2 while stirring at a stirring speed of 400 rpm and mixed for 10 minutes to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

[0135] 75 g of silica fume was added to the vessel while stirring at 300 rpm, then 25 g of the above mixture was added to the vessel within 2 minutes and continued stirring at 300 rpm for 8 minutes to disperse to obtain powdered mixture. After stirring, the powdered mixture was sieved through a 40-mesh sieve to obtain free-flowing powder as the Standard defoaming powder.

[0136] The Hot-stored defoaming powder was obtained by storing standard defoaming powder at 50℃ under atmospheric pressure for 2 weeks.

[0142] Add 95 g of water and 400g the above Self-levelling compositions in a mixer and begin mixing at a low speed (300 rpm) for 60 seconds and stop for 30 seconds. Next, mix at a high mixing speed (600 rpm) for 60 seconds and stop for 60 seconds. Then mix at high mixing speed (600 rpm) for 15 seconds and stop for 5 minutes to obtain the mortars.

[0143] Determination of mortar fluidity with reference to the JC / T 985-2017 7.3.

[0144] Mortar was introduced into a fluidity test sleeve (ametal sleeve 30 mm in diameter and 50 mm long) until it was full and excess slurry was scraped off at the top of the test sleeve. The filled test sleeve was raised to a height of approximately 50mm-100mm within 2 seconds and held for  10-15 seconds to allow the mortar to flow. After 4 minutes, measure the diameter in two perpendicular directions and take the arithmetic mean as the reading.

[0145] Determination of mortar density by pyknometer method with reference to the GB / T 6750-2007.

[0146] “Standard” refers to the mortar or self-levelling slab prepared by adding Standard defoaming powder, and “Hot-stored” refers to the mortar or self-levelling slab prepared by adding Hot-stored defoaming powder.
