Abstract

The invention relates to a game platform assembly and game equipment. The game platform assembly comprises a platform (90) comprising a planar upper surface (95), the planar upper surface (92) being arranged to define a game area on which the game is arranged to be played, a ball (50) for playing the ball game, and a string (52) arranged to connect the ball (50) to the platform (90). The string (52) is connected to the platform (90) at a first connection point (54), and the ball (50) is connected to the string (52) at a second connection point (56) for connecting the ball (50) to the platform (90) via the string (52), and the string (52) having a string length between the first connection point (54) and the second connection point (56).

[0003] The present invention relates to a game platform assembly and more particularly to a game platform according to preamble of claim 1. The present invention also relates to a game equipment and more particularly to a game equipment according to preamble of claim 18.

[0004] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0005] Playing a ball game indoors, for example in home, subjects the home and the objects in the home to breakage as the ball may hit objects in home in an uncontrolled manner. The prior art solution for solving this problem has concentrated in provided soft ball which do not break objects upon hit. However, making the ball softer affects the physical characteristics of the ball considerably which deteriorates playing the game. Further, the soft ball does not solve the problem, as the soft ball may still knock over objects causing the objects to break.

[0006] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0007] An object of the present invention is to provide a game platform assembly and a game equipment such that the prior art disadvantages are solved or at least alleviated.

[0008] The objects of the invention are achieved by a game platform assembly which is characterized by what is stated in the independent claim 1. The objects of the invention are also achieved by a game equipment which is characterized by what is stated in the independent claim 17.

[0010] The invention is based on the idea of providing a game platform assembly for a ball game. The game platform assembly comprises a platform comprising a planar upper surface and a bottom surface, the planar upper surface being arranged to define a game area on which the game is arranged to be played, and the bottom surface being configured to be placed on a support surface. The game platform assembly further comprises a ball for playing the ball game, and a string arranged to connect the ball to the platform. The string is connected to the platform at a first connection point and the string is arranged to extend freely from the first connection point, and the ball is connected to the string at a second connection point for connecting the ball to the platform via the string, and the string having a string length between the first connection point and the second connection point.

[0011] The game platform assembly enables paying the ball game on the game area defined by the planar upper surface with the ball which is attached or connected to the platform with the string. The platform is arranged to form the game area as well as provide attachment support for the ball via the string. Therefore, the ball game may be played anywhere without risk of breaking objects.

Claims

CLAIMS1. A game platform assembly for a ball game, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the game platform assembly comprises:- a platform (90) comprising a planar upper surface (95) and a bottom surface (97), the planar upper surface (95) being arranged to define a game area on which the game is arranged to be played, and the bottom surface (97) being configured to be placed on a support surface (300),- a ball (50) for playing the ball game, and- a string (52) arranged to connect the ball (50) to the platform (90), the string (52) is connected to the platform (90) at a first connection point (54) and the string (52) is arranged to extend freely from the first connection point (54), and the ball (50) is connected to the string (52) at a second connection point (56) for connecting the ball (50) to the platform (90) via the string (52), and the string (52) having a string length between the first connection point (54) and the second connection point (56).

2. A game platform assembly according to claim 1, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that:- the platform (90) is formed as a mat comprising the upper surface (95) arranged to define the game area; or- the platform (90) is formed as a flexible mat comprising the upper surface (95) arranged to define the game area; or- the platform (90) is formed as a foldable mat comprising the upper surface (95) arranged to define the game area.

A game platform assembly according to claim 1 or 2, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) comprises a first end (92) and a second end (94), a length (L) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is defined between the first and second ends (92, 94), and that:- the first connection point (54) is arranged in connection with the first end (92) or the second end (94); or- the first connection point (54) is arranged between the first end (92) and the second end (94) at a distance from the first and second ends (92, 94); or- the first connection point (54) is arranged in middle of the length (L)of the platform (90) in the direction between the first end (92) and the second end (94).

A game platform assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 3, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) comprises a first side (96) and a second side (98), the width (W) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is defined between the first and second sides (96, 98), and that:- the first connection point (54) is arranged in connection with the first side (96) or the second side (98); or- the first connection point (54) is arranged between the first side (96) and the second side (98) at a distance from the first and second sides (96, 98); or- the first connection point (54) is arranged in middle of the width (L) of the platform (90) in the direction between the first side (96) and the second side (98).

A game platform assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 4, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) comprises the first end (92), the second end (94), the first side (96) and the second side (98), the width (W) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is defined between the first and second sides (96, 98) and the length (L) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is defined between the first and second ends (92, 94), and that:- the length (L) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is at least 0,75 m; or- the length (L) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is at least 1 m,- the length (L) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is at least 0,75 m and the width (W) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is at least 0,5 m; or- the length (L) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is at least 1 m, and the width (W) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is at least 0,5 m.

A game platform assembly according to claim 1 or 2, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90)comprises one or more edges (92, 94, 96, 98) arranged define the game area, and that:- the first connection point (54) is arranged in connection with the one or more edges (92, 94, 96, 98); or- the first connection point (54) is arranged to the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) at a distance from the one or more edges (92, 94, 96, 98); or- the first connection point (54) is arranged in a centre point (91) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (95).

A game platform assembly according to claim 6, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that length of the length (L) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is defined as the longest distance between opposite edges (92, 94, 96, 98) of the planar upper surface (95) via the centre point (91) of the planar upper surface (95), and that:- the length (L) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is at least 0,75 m; or- the length (L) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is at least 1 m,- the length (L) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is at least 0,75 m and the width of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is at least 0,5 m; or- the length (L) of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is at least 1 m, and the width of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) is at least 0,5 m.

A game platform assembly according to any one of claims 3 to 7, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that:- the string length is at least 0,3 m, preferably at least 0,4 m; or- the string length is 1,5 times the length (L) of the platform (90) or less; or- the string length is between 0,2 to 1,5 times the length (L) of the platform (90); or- the string length is between 0,2 to 1,0 times the length (L) of the platform (90).

9. A game platform assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the string (52) is made of elastic material.

10. A game platform assembly according to claim 9, characterized in that the string (52) is arranged to:- stretch elastically at least 0,1 times the original length of the string (50); or- stretch elastically between 0,1 - 0,75 times the original length of the string (50); or- stretch elastically between 0,25 - 0,5 times the original length of the string (50).

11. A game platform assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that:- the string (52) is provided with a string attachment element (57) for connecting the string (52) to the platform at the first connection point (54), the string attachment element (57) is provided to a third connection point (58) in the string (52) and the string length corresponds the distance between the third connection point (58) and the second connection point (56); or- the platform (90) is provided with a platform attachment element (55) at the first connection point (54), and- the string (52) is provided with a string attachment element (57) configured to be connected to the platform attachment element (55), the string attachment element (57) is provided to a third connection point (58) in the string (52) and the string length corresponds the distance between the third connection point (58) and the second connection point (56).

12. A game platform assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that:- the string (50) is arranged to extend from the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90); or- the string (50) is arranged to extend at a heigh of 2 cm or less, preferably 1 cm or less, from the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90); or- the string (52) is connected to the platform (90) with the string attachment element (57) such that the string (52) is arranged to extend from the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) or such that the string (52) is arranged to extend at a heigh of 2 cm or less, preferably 1 cm or less, from theplanar upper surface (95) of the platform (90); or- the string (52) is connected to the platform (90) with the string attachment element (57) and the platform attachment element (55) such that the string (52) is arranged to extend from the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) or such that the string (52) is arranged to extend at a heigh of 2 cm or less, preferably 1 cm or less, from the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90).

A game platform assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 12, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that:- the ball (50) comprises a ball attachment element (51, 53) arranged to connect the ball (50) to the string (52) at the second connection point (56); or- the ball (50) comprises a ball attachment element (51, 53) arranged to connect the ball (50) to the string (52) at the second connection point (56), the ball attachment element (51, 53) allowing the ball (50) to rotate around a longitudinal axis of the string (52).

A game platform assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 13, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that:- the platform (90) is provided with at least one support element (200, 202, 201, 203) configured to support an external support object to the platform (90) for securing the platform (90) on the support surface (300); or- the platform (90) is provided with at least one support element (200,202), the at least one support element (200, 202) is provided on the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) and configured to support an external support object on the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) for securing the platform (90) on the support surface (300); or- the platform (90) is provided with at least one support element (201,203), the at least one support element (201, 203) is arranged to extend away from the game area in a direction of the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) and configured to support an external support object to the at least one support element (201, 203) for securing the platform (90) on a support surface.

A game platform assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 14, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the bottom surface (97) of the platform (90) is provided with:- one or more friction elements for preventing movement of theplatform (90); or- one or more securing elements for securing the platform of the support surface.

A game platform assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 15, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that:- the platform (90) is provided with one or more side walls (30, 32, 163, 164, 165, 166) arranged to extend upwards from the planar upper surface (95) and arranged to define at least part of the game area on which the game is arranged to be played; or- the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) comprises the first end (92), the second end (94), the first side (96) and the second side (98), the platform (90) is provided with a first side wall (30, 160) in connection with the first side (96) and with a second side wall (32, 162) in connection with the second side (98), the first and second side walls (30, 32, 160, 162) are arranged to extend upwards from the planar upper surface (95) and arranged to define at least part of the game area on which the game is arranged to be played; or- the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) comprises the one or more edges (92, 94, 96, 98), the platform (90) is provided with a first side wall (30, 160) and with a second side wall (32, 162), the first and second side walls (30, 32, 160, 162) are arranged in connection with the one or more side edges (92, 94, 96, 98) and opposite to each other, the first and second side walls (30, 32, 160, 162) are arranged to extend upwards from the planar upper surface (95) and arranged to define at least part of the game area on which the game is arranged to be played.

A game platform assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 16, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that:- the platform (90) is provided with one or more end structures (170, 172) arranged to extend upwards from the planar upper surface (95) and arranged to define at least part of the game area on which the game is arranged to be played and a goal opening (178) towards the game area; or- the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) comprises the first end (92), the second end (94), the first side (96) and the second side (98), the platform (90) is provided with a first end structure (170) in connection with the first end (92) and with a second end structure (172) in connection with the second end (94), the first and second end structures (170, 172) are arranged to extendupwards from the planar upper surface (95) and arranged to define at least part of the game area on which the game is arranged to be played and a goal opening (178) towards the game area; or- the planar upper surface (95) of the platform (90) comprises the one or more edges (92, 94, 96, 98), the platform (90) is provided with a first end structure (170) and with a second end structure (172), the first and second end structures (170, 172) are arranged in connection with the one or more edges (92, 94, 96, 98) and opposite to each other, the first and second end structures (170, 172) are arranged to extend upwards from the planar upper surface (95) and arranged to define at least part of the game area on which the game is arranged to be played and a goal opening (178) towards the game area.

A game equipment (6) for exercise by playing a ball game with legs, the game equipment comprises a game table (2) comprising:- a table top structure (20) with a see-through table top surface,- a first table side wall (30) extending downwards from the table top structure (20) and a second table side wall (32) extending downwards from the table top structure (20),- the first and second table side walls (30, 32) being arranged to form a channel-like game space (100) together with the table top structure (20), the channel-like game space (100) having a first opening (102) and a second opening (104) at opposite ends of the channel-like game space (100), and- the see-through table top surface is arranged to provide a see-through structure into the channel-like game space (100), c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the game equipment further comprises:- a ball (50) for playing the ball game, and- a string (52) arranged to connect the ball (50) to the game equipment C6), the string (52) is connected to the game equipment (6) at a first connection point (54) and the string (52) is arranged to extend freely from the first connection point (54), and the ball (50) is connected to the string (52) at a second connection point (56) for connecting the ball (50) to the game equipment (6) via the string (52), and the string (52) having a string length between the first connection point (54) and the second connection point (56).

19. A game equipment (6) according to claim 18, characterized in that:- the string (52) is connected to the table top structure (20) at the first connection point (54); or- the string (52) is connected to the first table side wall (30) or to the second side wall (32) at the first connection point (54).

20. A game equipment (6) according to claim 18 or 19, characterized in that:- the first connection point (54) is arranged in connection with the first opening (102) or the second opening (104) of the channel-like game space (100); or- the first connection point (54) is arranged between the first opening (102) and the second opening (104) of the channel-like game space (100); or- the first connection point (54) is arranged between the first opening (102) and the second opening (104) of the channel-like game space (100) at a corresponding distance from the first opening (12) and the second opening (104).

21. A game equipment (6) according to claim 18, characterized in that:- the game equipment (6) comprises a first seat (4) arranged in connection with the first opening (102) of the channel-like game space (100), and the string (52) is connected to the first seat (4) at the first connection point (54); or- the game equipment (6) comprises a first seat (4) arranged in connection with the first opening (102) of the channel-like game space (100) and a second seat (5) arranged in connection with the second opening (104) of the channel-like game space (100), the string (52) is connected to the first seat (4) or to the second seat (5) at the first connection point (54).

A game equipment (6) according to claim 18, characterized in that the game equipment comprises a game platform assembly, the game platform assembly comprises a platform (90) arranged to form a bottom of the channel-like game space (100), and that the string (52) is connected to the platform (90) at the first connection point (54).

23. A game equipment (6) according to claim 22, characterized in that the game platform assembly is a game platform assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 17.

24. A game equipment (6) according to any one of claims 18 to 23, characterized in that:- the string length is at least 0,3 m, preferably at least 0,4 m; or- the string length is 1,5 times the length of the channel-like game space (100) between the first opening (102) and the second opening (104) or less; or - the string length is between 0,2 to 1,5 times the length of the channellike game space (100) between the first opening (102) and the second opening (104); or- the string length is between 0,2 to 1,0 times the length of the channellike game space (100) between the first opening (102) and the second opening (104).
