In exemplary embodiments, the support surface (121) of the central portion (111) of the first holder (110) may be a flat surface, and the support surface (123) of the outer portion (113) of the first holder (110) may include an unflat surface. In exemplary embodiments, the flatness of the support surface (121) of the central portion (111) of the first holder (110) may be greater than the flatness of the support surface (123) of the outer portion (113) of the first holder (110). In exemplary embodiments, the support surface (123) of the outer portion (113) of the first holder (110) may have a step portion at the boundary with the support surface (121) of the central portion (111) of the first holder (110).
[0043] The second holder (150) may include a central portion (151) that supports the central portion (331) of the second tape (330) and an outer portion (153) that supports the outer portion (333) of the second tape (330). The central portion (151) and the outer portion (153) of the second holder (150) may be referred to as a second central block and a second outer block, respectively.
[0044] The support surface (163) of the outer portion (153) of the second holder (150) may include a portion protruding from the support surface (161) of the central portion (151) of the second holder (150). In exemplary embodiments, the support surface (161) of the central portion (151) of the second holder (150) may be a flat surface, and the support surface (163) of the outer portion (153) of the second holder (150) may include an unflat surface. In exemplary embodiments, the flatness of the support surface (161) of the central portion (151) of the second holder (150) may be greater than the flatness of the support surface (163) of the outer portion (153) of the second holder (150). In exemplary embodiments, the support surface (163) of the outer portion (153) of the second holder (150) may have a step portion at the boundary with the support surface (161) of the central portion (151) of the second holder (150).
[0045] In exemplary embodiments, the support surface (123) of the outer portion (113) of the first holder (110) may include a plurality of first protrusions (131) and may have an overall uneven structure. In exemplary embodiments, the support surface (163) of the outer portion (153) of the second holder (150) may include a plurality of second protrusions (171) and may have an overall uneven structure. In exemplary embodiments, the plurality of second protrusions (171) may be arranged so as not to be aligned with the plurality of first protrusions (131) in a vertical direction (e.g., in the Z direction). For example, the plurality of first protrusions (131) may be offset with the plurality of second protrusions (171) in a horizontal direction (e.g., in the X direction and / or the Y direction).
[0046] Hereinafter, with reference to FIGS. 1a and 1b, an exemplary tape attachment method using a tape attachment device (10) will be described.
[0047] Referring to FIG. 1a, the first holder (110) adsorbs and supports the non-adhesive surface of the first tape (320), and the second holder (150) adsorbs and supports the non-adhesive surface of the second tape (330).
[0048] Supporting the first tape (320) by suction with the first holder (110) may include a step of gripping the first tape fabric provided from the first tape supply section with the first tape extractor, a step of moving the first tape fabric with the first tape extractor so that the first tape fabric is positioned below the first holder (110), a step of applying vacuum pressure to the suction hole of the first holder (110) to suction the first tape fabric to the support surface of the first holder (110), and a step of cutting the first tape fabric portion between the first holder (110) and the first tape supply section with the first cutter.
[0049] Supporting the second tape (330) by suction with the second holder (150) may include a step of gripping the second tape fabric provided from the second tape supply section with the second tape extractor, a step of moving the second tape fabric with the second tape extractor so that the second tape fabric is positioned on the second holder (150), a step of applying vacuum pressure to the suction hole of the second holder (150) to suction the second tape fabric to the support surface of the second holder (150), and a step of cutting the second tape fabric portion between the second holder (150) and the second tape supply section with the second cutter.
[0050] Referring to FIG. 1B, the first holder (110) is lowered so that the first tape (320) comes into contact with the work target (310) mounted on the stage (200), and the second holder (150) is raised so that the second tape (330) comes into contact with the work target (310) mounted on the stage (200). The tape holder (100) forms an appropriate adhesive pressure between the first holder (110) and the second holder (150), thereby attaching the center (321) of the first tape (320) and the center (331) of the second tape (330) to the work target (310), and attaching the outer portion (323) of the first tape (320) to the outer portion (333) of the second tape (330).
[0051] According to the tape attachment device according to the comparative example, the support surfaces of the upper holder and the lower holder may each be entirely flat. In this case, during the tape attachment process of attaching two tapes (i.e., the upper tape and the lower tape) to each workpiece, the adhesive pressure formed between the upper holder and the lower holder in the section where the two tapes are directly bonded may be insufficient, resulting in unstable adhesion between the two tapes.
[0052] According to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, since the support surface (123) of the outer portion (113) of the first holder (110) and / or the support surface (163) of the outer portion (153) of the second holder (150) have a protruding portion, the adhesive pressure between the first tape (320) and the second tape (330) can be strengthened in the section where the first tape (320) and the second tape (330) are directly bonded without changing the adhesive pressure between the first tape (320) and the workpiece (310) and the adhesive pressure between the second tape (330) and the workpiece (310). Accordingly, since the adhesive force between the first tape (320) and the second tape (330) is strengthened, the bonding between the first tape (320) and the second tape (330) can be suppressed from being broken.
[0053] In exemplary embodiments, the plurality of first protrusions (131) of the support surface (123) of the outer portion (113) of the first holder (110) and the plurality of second protrusions (171) of the support surface (163) of the outer portion (153) of the second holder (150) may be misaligned in the vertical direction (e.g., the Z direction). In this case, during the tape attachment process, the adhesive pressure between the outer portion (323) of the first tape (320) and the outer portion (333) of the second tape (330) may be strengthened, thereby strengthening the adhesive force between the first tape (320) and the second tape (330).
[0054] In exemplary embodiments, at least one of the outer portion (113) of the first holder (110) and the outer portion (153) of the second holder (150) may include a heater configured to apply heat to enhance adhesive pressure between the outer portion (323) of the first tape (320) and the outer portion (333) of the second tape (330).
[0055] In exemplary embodiments, the work target (310) may be a joint portion between an electrode tab and an electrode lead of a battery cell joined by welding. The first tape (320) and the second tape (330) may be attached to the joint portion between the electrode tab and the electrode lead of the battery cell, and configured to protect the joint portion between the electrode tab and the electrode lead of the battery cell. According to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, since the adhesive strength between the first tape (320) and the second tape (330) is strengthened, damage to the battery cell due to poor adhesion between the first tape (320) and the second tape (330) can be prevented, and ultimately, the reliability of the battery cell can be improved.
[0056]
[0057] (Example 2)
[0058] FIGS. 2A and 2B are cross-sectional views illustrating a tape attachment device (11) according to exemplary embodiments of the present invention. Hereinafter, the tape attachment device (11) illustrated in FIGS. 2A and 2B will be described, focusing on differences from the tape attachment device (10) described with reference to FIGS. 1A and 1B.
[0059] Referring to FIGS. 2A and 2B, in the tape holder (100A) of the tape attachment device (11), the support surface (123A) of the outer portion (113) of the first holder (110A) may include a plurality of first protrusions (131), and the support surface (163A) of the outer portion (153) of the second holder (150A) may include a plurality of grooves (173). Each of the plurality of first protrusions (131) may be aligned vertically (e.g., in the Z direction) to a corresponding one of the plurality of grooves (173). In this case, during the tape attachment process, the adhesive pressure between the outer portion (323) of the first tape (320) and the outer portion (333) of the second tape (330) may be strengthened, thereby strengthening the adhesive force between the first tape (320) and the second tape (330).

The support surface (123B) of the outer portion (113) of the first holder (110B) may include the surface of the first foam pad (135).
[0065] In exemplary embodiments, the outer portion (153) of the second holder (150B) may include a second foam pad (175) that contacts the outer portion (333) of the second tape (330). For example, the second holder (150B) may include a body including a center portion and an outer portion, and a second foam pad (175) connected to the outer portion of the body of the second holder (150B). At this time, when vacuum pressure is applied to the suction hole of the body of the second holder (150B), the second tape (330) may be attached to the second foam pad (175) by the suction force provided through the second foam pad (175). The support surface (163B) of the outer portion (153) of the second holder (150B) may include the surface of the second foam pad (175).
[0066] During the tape attachment process, the adhesive pressure between the outer portion (323) of the first tape (320) and the outer portion (333) of the second tape (330) sandwiched between the first foam pad (135) and the second foam pad (175) is strengthened, thereby strengthening the adhesive force between the first tape (320) and the second tape (330).
[0067]
[0068] (Example 4)
[0069] FIGS. 4A and 4B are cross-sectional views illustrating a tape attachment device (13) according to exemplary embodiments of the present invention. Hereinafter, the tape attachment device (13) illustrated in FIGS. 4A and 4B will be described, focusing on differences from the tape attachment device (10) described with reference to FIGS. 1A and 1B.
