Abstract
Description
Lighting control system and lighting control method
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a lighting control system and a lighting control method.
[0002] As a conventional technique, Patent Document 1 discloses an environmental control system. The environmental control system includes one or more spotlights that illuminate the top surface of a desk in a room, one or more base lights that illuminate a wider area in the room than the top surface, and a control device. The control device performs zoning control, which creates a centralized control area where the illuminance of the spotlights is greater than that of the base lights, and a non-centralized control area where the illuminance of the spotlights is less than that of the base lights, with a buffer area in between.
[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2021-061129
[0004] In a case where two adjacent areas in a space are used for lighting purposes, one for concentrated work such as computer work and the other for non-concentrated work such as relaxation, Patent Document 1 provides a buffer area such as an aisle between the area for concentrated work and the area for non-concentrated work such as relaxation. However, if the space is narrow, the buffer area becomes small, making it difficult to provide a sufficient buffer area. In this case, if the two adjacent areas are used simultaneously, the lighting effects of one area may be visible from the other area, which may result in an insufficient lighting effect.
[0005] Therefore, the present disclosure aims to provide a space with lighting that is comfortable even when adjacent areas are visible, and with lighting that is tailored to the intended use.
[0006] In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, a lighting control system according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a lighting control system that simultaneously performs different lighting effects in a single space including two adjacent areas, Group 1 and Group 2, and includes: a first lighting device that illuminates a work space provided in Group 1; a second lighting device that illuminates at least one of a first upper wall surface above the first wall surface forming Group 1 and arranged to face a second wall surface forming Group 2, and a first ceiling surface above Group 1; a third lighting device that illuminates at least one of a second floor surface and the second wall surface of a low area 2L below Group 2; and a control unit, wherein the control unit controls at least one of the first lighting device and the third lighting device so that at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the low area 2L is lower than at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the work space, and controls the second lighting device and the third lighting device so that the control for illuminating above Group 1 and the control for illuminating the low area 2L are substantially the same.
[0007] In addition, in order to achieve the above-mentioned object, a lighting control system according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a lighting control system that simultaneously performs different lighting effects in a single space including two adjacent areas, Group 1 and Group 2, and includes: a first lighting device that illuminates a work space provided in Group 1; a third lighting device that illuminates at least one of a second floor surface and a second wall surface of a low section 2L below Group 2; a fourth lighting device that illuminates at least one of a second ceiling surface and a second wall surface of a high section 2H above Group 2; and a control unit, wherein the control unit controls the first lighting device, the third lighting device, and the fourth lighting device so that at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the low section 2L is smaller than at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of Group 1 and at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the high section 2H, and controls the first lighting device and the fourth lighting device so that the control for illuminating the work space and the control for illuminating the high section 2H are substantially identical.
[0008] Furthermore, in order to achieve the above-mentioned object, a lighting control method according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a lighting control method for simultaneously performing different lighting effects in one space including two adjacent areas, group 1 and group 2, the lighting control method including: a first lighting device illuminating a work space provided in group 1; a second lighting device illuminating at least one of a first upper wall surface above the first wall surface forming group 1, which is arranged so as to face the second wall surface forming group 2, and a first ceiling surface above group 1; a third lighting device illuminating at least one of a second floor surface and the second wall surface of a low section 2L below group 2; a control unit controlling at least one of the first lighting device and the third lighting device so that at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the low section 2L is lower than at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the work space; and a control unit controlling the second lighting device and the third lighting device so that the control for illuminating the area above group 1 and the control for illuminating the low section 2L are substantially the same.
[0009] Furthermore, in order to achieve the above-mentioned object, a lighting control method according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a lighting control method for simultaneously performing different lighting effects in one space including two adjacent areas, Group 1 and Group 2, the lighting control method including: a first lighting device illuminating a work space provided in Group 1; a third lighting device illuminating at least one of a second floor surface and a second wall surface of a low section 2L below Group 2; and a fourth lighting device illuminating at least one of a second ceiling surface and a second wall surface of a high section 2H above Group 2; a control unit controlling the first lighting device, the third lighting device, and the fourth lighting device so that at least one of the illuminance and the color temperature of the low section 2L is smaller than at least one of the illuminance and the color temperature of Group 1 and at least one of the illuminance and the color temperature of the high section 2H; and a control unit controlling the first lighting device and the fourth lighting device so that the control for illuminating the work space and the control for illuminating the high section 2H are substantially identical.

Fig. 10 is a schematic diagram showing a state in which the upper part of group 1 is illuminated with a first illuminance and a first color temperature, and the lower part of group 2 is illuminated with a second illuminance and a second color temperature. Note that Fig. 1 shows first lighting device 11 to seventh lighting device 17, but does not indicate that the lighting control system 1 is equipped with all of these lighting devices. Fig. 1 shows the lighting devices that appear in this embodiment, and the various lighting devices in Fig. 1 are to be selected like the lighting devices shown in Figs. 2 to 10.
[0016] The lighting control system 1 is applied to a facility and can illuminate one space 2 within the facility. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the space 2 is composed of a ceiling surface, a floor surface, and a plurality of walls.
[0017] The lighting control system 1 forms a plurality of groups, which are a plurality of regions, within the space 2, and can simultaneously perform different lighting effects for each group. That is, in a single space 2 including two adjacent regions, group 1 and group 2, the lighting control system 1 can simultaneously perform lighting effects in which at least one of the illuminance and color temperature is different for each group. The lighting control system 1 can also divide a single group into a plurality of zones and simultaneously perform lighting effects in which at least one of the illuminance and color temperature is different for each zone. The same lighting effect can also be performed for group 1 and group 2.
[0018] In this embodiment, a description will be given using group 1 and group 2 as an example of a plurality of groups.
[0019] Group 1 has a low area 1L below group 1, a high area 1H above group 1, and a middle area 1M between low area 1L and high area 1H. Group 1 is formed by a first floor surface 21a, a first wall surface 21b rising from first floor surface 21a, a third wall surface 121 intersecting with first wall surface 21b and rising from first floor surface 21a, and a first ceiling surface 21c connecting first wall surface 21b and third wall surface 121. For example, low area 1L is approximately 0 mm to 650 mm, middle area 1M is approximately 650 mm to 1500 mm from the floor, and high area 1H is approximately 1500 mm to first ceiling surface 21c.
[0020] Group 2 has a low area 2L below group 2, a high area 2H above group 2, and a middle area 2M between low area 2L and high area 2H. The second group is formed by a second floor surface 22a, a second wall surface 22b rising from second floor surface 22a, a fourth wall surface 122 intersecting with second wall surface 22b and rising from second floor surface 22a, and a second ceiling surface 22c connecting second wall surface 22b and fourth wall surface 122. For example, low area 2L is approximately 0 mm to 650 mm, middle area 2M is approximately 650 mm to 1500 mm from the floor surface, and high area 2H is approximately 1500 mm to the ceiling surface.
[0021] The first wall surface 21b is positioned opposite the second wall surface 22b. In Fig. 2, the first wall surface 21b is the right wall surface, and the second wall surface 22b is the left wall surface. The third wall surface 121 and the fourth wall surface 122 form a continuous wall surface. In Fig. 2, the third wall surface 121 is on the group 1 side, and the fourth wall surface 122 is on the group 2 side, which are the rear wall surfaces.
[0022] Note that while Group 1 and Group 2 are each composed of three zones, this is merely an example and is not limited to three zones. For example, each of Group 1 and Group 2 may be composed of two zones, or may be composed of four or more zones. Furthermore, the number of zones between two adjacent zones may be the same, or the number of zones may differ for each group.
[0023] Group 1 is set as a work space, for example, where the user wants to concentrate on work. Group 2 is set as a relaxation space, for example, where the user can relax. In FIG. 2 , the right half area is illustrated as Group 1 and the left half area is illustrated as Group 2, but the size and location of the areas of Group 1 and Group 2 may be changeable. The number of groups is not limited to two, and three or more groups may be set. The number of groups and the size and location of the groups may be appropriately changeable by the user operating a terminal device. The terminal device may be a smartphone, a tablet device, an embedded operation panel, or the like, and is capable of communicating with the lighting control system 1.
[0024] Specifically, the lighting control system 1 includes a plurality of lighting devices and a control unit 20 that can control the plurality of lighting devices.
[0025] The lighting device emits one or more spot lights in a predetermined direction, thereby illuminating one or more groups constituting the space 2 or one or more areas constituting a group. Examples of lighting devices include spotlights, downlights, ceiling lights, pendant lights, and floor lights.
[0026] The lighting device has a dimming function that changes the amount of light and a color adjustment function that changes the color temperature. Therefore, the lighting device can change the illuminance or color temperature by receiving instructions from the control unit 20. For example, the lighting device executes dimming control and color adjustment control by receiving instructions from the control unit 20. This allows the lighting device to change at least one of the illuminance and color temperature for each group or each area.
[0027] The plurality of lighting devices include a first lighting device 11 , a second lighting device 12 , and a third lighting device 13 .
[0028] The first lighting device 11, the second lighting device 12, and the third lighting device 13 may be arranged at any position in the space 2. In this embodiment, the first lighting device 11 is arranged on the first wall surface 21b of group 1, the second lighting device 12 is arranged on the first ceiling surface 21c and the first wall surface 21b of group 1, and the third lighting device 13 is arranged on the second floor surface 22a of group 2. Note that the arrangement of the first lighting device 11, the second lighting device 12, and the third lighting device 13 is merely an example and is not limited to this embodiment. Furthermore, any number of lighting devices may be provided. For example, the second lighting device 12 may be arranged only on the first ceiling surface 21c or the first wall surface 21b.
[0029] Furthermore, the first lighting device 11, the second lighting device 12, and the third lighting device 13 may be capable of illuminating any of the multiple groups that make up the space 2, and any of the multiple areas.
[0030] Furthermore, if a fixture or furniture is placed in the area, the lighting devices may illuminate the fixture or furniture. For example, the lighting devices may be provided with a diffuser and a cover to illuminate the position where the fixture or furniture is located.
[0031] In the present embodiment, the first lighting device 11 can illuminate the work space provided in group 1. Therefore, it is sufficient for the first lighting device 11 to illuminate the work space where the top of the desk 19 or the top of the work table is placed, and it is not necessary for the first lighting device 11 to illuminate the area below group 1 or the area above group 1.
[0032] The second lighting device 12 can illuminate at least one of the first upper wall surface 21b1, which is above the first wall surface 21b forming group 1 and is arranged opposite the second wall surface 22b forming group 2, and the first ceiling surface 21c, which is above group 1.
[0033] The third lighting device 13 can illuminate at least one of the second floor surface 22 a and the second wall surface 22 b of the lower section 2L below the group 2 .
[0034] The control unit 20 controls the position and range of illumination within the space 2. For example, the control unit 20 controls illumination in groups or in zones. The control unit 20 also controls at least one of the illuminance and color temperature at the position and range.
[0035] The control unit 20 can also control one or more lighting devices simultaneously, so that a plurality of lighting devices can work together to illuminate the space 2.
[0036] 2, the control unit 20 controls at least one of the first lighting device 11 and the third lighting device 13 so that at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the low area 2L is lower than the illuminance and color temperature of the workspace of group 1. That is, the first lighting device 11 illuminates the workspace of group 1 with a first illuminance and a first color temperature, and the third lighting device 13 illuminates the low area 2L of group 2 with a second illuminance lower than the first illuminance and a second color temperature lower than the first color temperature.
[0037] For example, according to the JIS General Provisions for Illumination Standards (JIS Z9110-2010), the recommended illuminance for studying, reading, and eating is approximately 300 lx to 750 lx, and the recommended illuminance for relaxing through family gatherings, entertainment, etc. is approximately 200 lx. Therefore, the first illuminance is the illuminance when fully lit (e.g., 300 lx to 1000 lx), and the first color temperature is 4600 K to 7100 K, such as daylight white or cobalt white. Furthermore, the second illuminance is the illuminance when fully lit (e.g., 100 lx to 300 lx), and the second color temperature is 2600 K to 3800 K, such as warm white or incandescent white. Note that the illuminance and color temperature are merely examples and are not limited to those of the present embodiment.
[0038] By having the first lighting device 11 illuminate the workspace of group 1 at the first illuminance and first color temperature, it is expected that an illuminated space 2 can be provided that allows users working in group 1 to easily concentrate on their work.
[0039] Furthermore, the control unit 20 controls the second lighting device 12 and the third lighting device 13 so that the control for illuminating the upper area of group 1 and the control for illuminating the low area 2L are substantially identical. That is, the second lighting device 12 is turned on at the second illuminance and the second color temperature, and the third lighting device 13 illuminates the low area 2L of group 2 at the second illuminance and the second color temperature. In this embodiment, FIG. 2 illustrates a case in which the first lighting device 11 illuminates the workspace at the first illuminance and the first color temperature, and the second lighting device 12 illuminates the first upper wall surface 21b1 and the first ceiling surface 21c at the second illuminance and the second color temperature. Here, "substantially identical" means that at least one of the illuminance difference is 300 lx or less and the color temperature difference is 1000 K or less is satisfied.
[0040] Therefore, when a user relaxing in group 2 looks at group 1, one or more of the second lighting device 12, the first upper wall surface 21b1, and the first ceiling surface 21c, which are illuminating at the second illuminance and the second color temperature, come into view at eye level, and it is expected that an illuminating space that is less likely to cause discomfort to the relaxed user can be provided.
[0041] For example, as shown in FIG. 3, the plurality of lighting devices includes a fourth lighting device 14 in addition to a first lighting device 11, a second lighting device 12, and a third lighting device 13.
[0042] The fourth lighting device 14 may also be arranged at any position in the space 2. In the present embodiment, the fourth lighting device 14 is arranged on the second ceiling surface 22c of group 2. Note that the arrangement of the fourth lighting device 14 is merely an example and is not limited to the present embodiment. Furthermore, the fourth lighting device 14 may be capable of illuminating any of the multiple groups that make up the space 2 and any of the multiple zones.
[0043] In this embodiment, the fourth lighting device 14 can illuminate at least one of the second ceiling surface 22c and the second wall surface 22b in the high section 2H above the group 2.
[0044] The control unit 20 controls the first lighting device 11, the third lighting device 13, and the fourth lighting device 14 so that at least one of the illuminance and the color temperature of the low zone 2L is lower than at least one of the illuminance and the color temperature of the group 1 and lower than at least one of the illuminance and the color temperature of the high zone 2H. The control unit 20 controls the first lighting device 11 and the fourth lighting device 14 so that the control for illuminating the workspace and the control for illuminating the high zone 2H are substantially the same.
[0045] As a result, the first lighting device 11 illuminates group 1 at a first illuminance and a first color temperature, the fourth lighting device 14 illuminates the upper section 2H of group 2 at a first illuminance and a first color temperature, and the third lighting device 13 illuminates the lower section of group 2 at a second illuminance and a second color temperature.
[0046] Therefore, when a user working in group 1 looks at group 2, the high area 2H at eye level comes into view, giving the user a sense of brightness throughout space 2, and it is expected that a lighting space that makes it easier for the users working in group 1 to concentrate on their work will be provided.
[0047] Furthermore, when a user relaxing in group 2 looks at group 1, one or more of the second lighting device 12, the first upper wall surface 21b1, and the first ceiling surface 21c, which are illuminating at the second illuminance and the second color temperature, come into view at eye level, and it is expected that an illuminating space that is less likely to cause discomfort to the relaxed user can be provided.
[0048] For example, as shown in FIG. 4, the plurality of lighting devices includes a fifth lighting device 15 in addition to a first lighting device 11, a second lighting device 12, a third lighting device 13, and a fourth lighting device 14.
[0049] The fifth lighting device 15 may also be arranged at any position in the space 2. In the present embodiment, the fifth lighting device 15 is arranged on the first floor surface 21a of group 1. Note that the arrangement of the fifth lighting device 15 is merely an example and is not limited to the present embodiment. Furthermore, the fifth lighting device 15 may be capable of illuminating any of the multiple groups that make up the space 2 and any of the multiple zones.
[0050] In this embodiment, the fifth lighting device 15 can illuminate at least one of the first lower wall surface 21b2, which is below the first wall surface 21b arranged opposite the second wall surface 22b, and the first floor surface 21a, which forms below group 1.
[0051] The control unit 20 controls the third lighting device 13 and the fifth lighting device 15 so that the control for illuminating the low section 2L and the control for illuminating the area below the group 1 are substantially the same.
[0052] As a result, the fifth lighting device 15 illuminates the area below Group 1 at the second illuminance and the second color temperature, the third lighting device 13 illuminates the lower area 2L of Group 2 at the second illuminance and the second color temperature, and the first lighting device 11 illuminates the workspace of Group 1 at the first illuminance and the first color temperature.
[0053] For this reason, a user relaxing in Group 2 (e.g., a user sitting on a sofa) may look at Group 1 with their eyes aligned horizontally. In this case, the area below Group 1, which is at the same height as the user's eyes, comes into view, providing a lighting space that is less likely to cause discomfort to the relaxed user. It is also expected to provide a lighting space that makes it easier for users working in Group 1 to concentrate on their work.
[0054] For example, as shown in Fig. 5, a desk 19 or a workbench is placed in the work space. The first lighting device 11 can provide task lighting for the top of the desk 19 or the top of the workbench. For example, the height of the desk 19 is about 700 mm from the floor. In order to concentrate on work in the work space, it is known that the illuminance of the work surface of the top of the desk 19 or the top of the workbench is preferably set to 300 lx to 700 lx, and the illuminance of the wall surface near the work surface is preferably set to about 220 lx to 350 lx, which is smaller than the work surface.
[0055] In this embodiment, the first lighting device 11 can illuminate the middle section 1M. The third lighting device 13 can illuminate the low section 2L. The fifth lighting device 15 can illuminate the low section 1L. Specifically, the fifth lighting device 15 can illuminate at least one of the first lower wall surface 21b2 and the first floor surface 21a forming the lower part of the group 1.
[0056] The control unit 20 controls at least one of the first lighting device 11 and the fifth lighting device 15 so that the third lower wall surface 121b, which is below the third wall surface 121 corresponding to the low area 1L, has at least one of the illuminance and color temperature lower than that of the middle area 1M.
[0057] As a result, the fifth lighting device 15 illuminates the low area 1L at the second illuminance and the second color temperature, the third lighting device 13 illuminates the low area 2L of group 2 at the second illuminance and the second color temperature, and the first lighting device 11 illuminates the middle area 1M at the first illuminance and the first color temperature.
[0058] Therefore, when a user relaxing in Group 2 looks at Group 1 with their eyes aligned horizontally, the low area 1L below Group 1, which is at the same height as the user's eyes, comes into view, and it is expected that a lighting space that is less likely to cause discomfort to the relaxed user will be provided.
[0059] Furthermore, since the middle area 1M is illuminated with the first illuminance and the first color temperature, it is expected that an illuminating space will be provided that allows the users working in group 1 to easily concentrate on their work.
[0060] In this way, in one space 2, it is possible to achieve both a lighting effect that allows group 1 to concentrate on work and a lighting effect that allows group 2 to relax.
[0061] For example, a desk 19 or a work table is arranged in the work space as shown in Fig. 6. The first lighting device 11 can provide task lighting for the top surface of the desk 19 or the top surface of the work table.
[0062] In this embodiment, the first lighting device 11 can illuminate the middle area 1M and the low area 1L, and the second lighting device 12 can illuminate the high area 1H above the group 1.
[0063] The control unit 20 controls at least one of the second lighting device 12 and the first lighting device 11 so that the third upper wall surface 121a, which is above the third wall surface 121 corresponding to the high area 1H, has at least one of the illuminance and color temperature lower than that of the middle area 1M.
[0064] As a result, the second lighting device 12 illuminates the high area 1H at the second illuminance and the second color temperature, the first lighting device 11 illuminates the middle area 1M at the first illuminance and the first color temperature, and the third lighting device 13 illuminates the low area 2L of group 2 at the second illuminance and the second color temperature.
[0065] Therefore, when a user relaxing in Group 2 looks at Group 1, the second lighting device 12 or the high area 1H, which is lit at the second illuminance and the second color temperature at eye level, comes into view, so it is expected that an illuminating space that does not cause discomfort to the relaxed user will be provided. It is also expected that an illuminating space that makes it easy for the user working in Group 1 to concentrate on their work will be provided.
[0066] For example, as shown in FIG. 7, a desk 19 or work table is arranged in the work space.
[0067] In this embodiment, the third lighting device 13 can illuminate the low section 2L, and the fourth lighting device 14 can illuminate the high section 2H above the group 2.
[0068] The control unit 20 controls at least one of the fourth lighting device 14 and the third lighting device 13 so that the fourth upper wall surface 122a, which is above the fourth wall surface 122 corresponding to the high area 2H, has at least one of the illuminance and color temperature greater than that of the low area 2L.
[0069] As a result, the fourth lighting device 14 illuminates the fourth upper wall surface 122a of the high section 2H with a first illuminance and a first color temperature, and the third lighting device 13 illuminates the low section 2L with a second illuminance and a second color temperature.
[0070] Furthermore, the first lighting device 11 illuminates at least the workspace of group 1, while the second lighting device 12 illuminates above group 1 with a second illuminance and a second color temperature. Fig. 7 illustrates a case where the first lighting device 11 illuminates with a first illuminance and a first color temperature, and the second lighting device 12 is lit with a second illuminance and a second color temperature.
[0071] Therefore, when a user working in group 1 looks at group 2, the high area 2H is likely to come into view from the user's visual field height, and the user can be given a sense of brightness throughout space 2, and it is expected that an illuminating space will be provided that makes it easier for the user working in group 1 to concentrate on their work.
[0072] Furthermore, when a user relaxing in group 2 looks at group 1, one or more of the second lighting device 12, the first upper wall surface 21b1, and the first ceiling surface 21c, which are lit at the second illuminance and the second color temperature at eye level, come into view, so it is expected that an illuminating space that is less likely to cause discomfort to the relaxing user will be provided. In other words, it is possible to avoid impeding the sense of relaxation of the users present in the low area 2L of group 2.
[0073] For example, as shown in FIG. 8, a desk 19 or work table is arranged in the work space.
[0074] In this embodiment, the first lighting device 11 is capable of illuminating the middle area 1M.
[0075] The control unit 20 controls at least one of the first lighting device 11 and the second lighting device 12 so that the illuminance and / or color temperature of the first upper wall surface 21b1 is lower than that of the middle area 1M.
[0076] As a result, the first lighting device 11 illuminates the middle area 1M with a first illuminance and a first color temperature.
[0077] Therefore, it is expected that a lighting space will be provided that allows the users working in group 1 to easily concentrate on their work.
[0078] Further, the second lighting device 12 illuminates the first upper wall surface 21b1 of the high section 1H at the second illuminance and the second color temperature, and the third lighting device 13 illuminates the low section 2L of group 2 at the second illuminance and the second color temperature. In Fig. 8, the state in which the second lighting device 12 illuminates only the first upper wall surface 21b1 is shown by hatching with dots, but the second lighting device 12 may illuminate the entire high section 1H.
[0079] Therefore, when a user relaxing in group 2 looks at group 1, one or more of the second lighting device 12 and the first upper wall surface 21b1, which are lit at the second illuminance and second color temperature at eye level, come into view, which is expected to provide an illuminating space that is less likely to cause discomfort to the relaxed user.
[0080] It is also expected that a lighting space will be provided that allows users working in group 1 to easily concentrate on their work.
[0081] For example, a desk 19 or a workbench is arranged in the work space as shown in Fig. 9. Fig. 9 illustrates the case of a desk 19.
[0082] For example, the plurality of lighting devices includes a sixth lighting device 16 in addition to a first lighting device 11, a second lighting device 12, a third lighting device 13, and a fourth lighting device 14.
[0083] The sixth lighting device 16 is a pendant light, a spotlight, a downlight, or a desk light arranged on the top of the desk 19 or the top of a workbench.
[0084] The sixth lighting device 16 may also be arranged at any position in the space 2. In the present embodiment, the sixth lighting device 16 is suspended from the ceiling surface of group 1. Note that the arrangement of the sixth lighting device 16 is merely an example and is not limited to the present embodiment. Furthermore, the sixth lighting device 16 may be capable of illuminating any of the multiple groups that make up the space 2 and any of the multiple zones.
[0085] In this embodiment, the sixth lighting device 16 can illuminate only the tops of the desks 19 or work tables arranged in the first group.
[0086] The control unit 20 controls the sixth lighting device 16 so as to illuminate only the top of a desk 19 or the top of a work table placed in the work space.
[0087] As a result, the sixth lighting device 16 illuminates only the top of the desk 19 or the top of the work table with the first illuminance and the first color temperature.
[0088] Therefore, it is expected that a lighting space will be provided that allows the users working in group 1 to easily concentrate on their work.
[0089] Further, the second lighting device 12 illuminates the first upper wall surface 21b1 of the high section 1H at the second illuminance and the second color temperature, and the third lighting device 13 illuminates the low section 2L of group 2 at the second illuminance and the second color temperature. Although not shown in the figures, the second lighting device 12 may illuminate the high section 1H of group 1, or may be lightly lit so as not to illuminate the first upper wall surface 21b1, etc.
[0090] Therefore, when a user relaxing in group 2 looks at group 1, the second lighting device 12 or high area 1H, which is lit at the second illuminance and second color temperature at eye level, comes into view, and it is expected that an illuminating space will be provided that is less likely to cause discomfort to the relaxed user.
[0091] For example, as shown in FIG. 10, a desk 19 or work table is arranged in the work space.
[0092] For example, the plurality of lighting devices includes a seventh lighting device 17 in addition to the first lighting device 11, the second lighting device 12, and the fourth lighting device 14.
[0093] The seventh lighting device 17 may also be arranged at any position in the space 2. In this embodiment, the seventh lighting device 17 is arranged on the second floor surface 22a of group 2. The seventh lighting device 17 has a light-emitting unit 17a that can illuminate the space 2. The light-emitting unit 17a is arranged in the low section 2L. Note that the arrangement of the seventh lighting device 17 is merely an example and is not limited to this embodiment.
[0094] In this embodiment, the seventh lighting device 17 can illuminate the low section 2L of the second group. Alternatively, the seventh lighting device 17 may be capable of illuminating any of the groups constituting the space 2 and any of the sections.
[0095] The control unit 20 controls the seventh lighting device 17 to illuminate the low area 2L, so that the seventh lighting device 17 illuminates the low area 2L with the second illuminance and the second color temperature.
[0096] Therefore, it is expected that a relaxing lighting space can be provided for the users in group 2.
[0097] Furthermore, the second lighting device 12 illuminates the area above group 1 with the first illuminance and the first color temperature. This is expected to provide a lighting space that allows the users working in group 1 to easily concentrate on their work.
[0098] <Operational Effects> Next, operational effects of the lighting control system 1 etc. according to this embodiment will be described.
[0099] For example, the height at which a user works and the height at which the user is relaxing typically differ in the height of the user's eyes relative to the floor and the direction of the user's gaze. The eye height of a user working is higher than the eye height of a user relaxing, but the user's gaze tends to be horizontal. On the other hand, the eye height of a user relaxing is lower than when working, but the user's gaze tends to be horizontal or upward. Because the eyes of a relaxed user are at a low position, when the user looks up at the adjacent group, the user's field of vision is above group 1, which is thought to help the user relax. Furthermore, when a user is working while sitting in a chair and looks at the adjacent group, if the area directly above the user is bright, the user will be less likely to feel the darkness and will be able to concentrate on their work.
[0100] Therefore, the lighting control system 1 of technique 1 in this embodiment is a lighting control system 1 that simultaneously performs different lighting effects in one space 2 including two adjacent areas, group 1 and group 2, and includes a first lighting device 11 that illuminates a work space provided in group 1, a second lighting device 12 that illuminates at least one of a first upper wall surface 21b1 above a first wall surface 21b that forms group 1 and is arranged so as to face a second wall surface 22b that forms group 2, and a first ceiling surface 21c that exists above group 1, The system includes a third lighting device 13 that illuminates at least one of the second floor surface 22a and the second wall surface 22b of the low area 2L below the loop 2, and a control unit 20, and the control unit 20 controls at least one of the first lighting device 11 and the third lighting device 13 so that at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the low area 2L is lower than at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the work space, and controls the second lighting device 12 and the third lighting device 13 so that the control for illuminating above the group 1 and the control for illuminating the low area 2L are approximately the same.
[0101] According to this, when a user relaxing in Group 2 looks at Group 1, one or more of the second lighting device 12, the first upper wall surface 21b1, and the first ceiling surface 21c, which are lit at the second illuminance and the second color temperature, come into view at their line of sight. In this case, the low area 2L and the second lighting device 12 have substantially the same illuminance and color temperature, so the relaxing user is unlikely to feel uncomfortable. In this way, a lighting effect that allows the users in Group 2 to relax can be created.
[0102] Furthermore, the work space of group 1 adjacent to group 2 is illuminated with the first illuminance and the first color temperature, so that lighting effects can be created that allow the user to concentrate on their work.
[0103] Therefore, even if an adjacent area is visible, a comfortable lighting effect can be achieved, and a space 2 with lighting effect according to the purpose can be provided.
[0104] Furthermore, the lighting control system 1 of technique 2 in this embodiment is a lighting control system 1 that simultaneously performs different lighting effects in one space 2 including two adjacent areas, group 1 and group 2, and includes a first lighting device 11 that illuminates a work space provided in group 1, a third lighting device 13 that illuminates at least one of a second floor surface 22 a and a second wall surface 22 b of a low area 2L below group 2, and a second ceiling surface 22 c and a second wall surface 22 b of a high area 2H above group 2. and a control unit 20. The control unit 20 controls the first lighting device 11, the third lighting device 13, and the fourth lighting device 14 so that at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the low area 2L is smaller than at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the group 1 and the illuminance and color temperature of the high area 2H, and also controls the first lighting device 11 and the fourth lighting device 14 so that the control for illuminating the workspace and the control for illuminating the high area 2H are substantially the same.
[0105] According to this, when a user working in group 1 looks at group 2, the high area 2H above eye level comes into view, so lighting can be produced that allows the user to concentrate on their work. Furthermore, because the area above eye level is illuminated with the first illuminance and the first color temperature, the user can sense the brightness of the surroundings, which is expected to reduce the user's sense of isolation.
[0106] Furthermore, the lighting control system 1 of Technology 3 in this embodiment further includes a fifth lighting device 15 that illuminates at least one of the first lower wall surface 21b2 below the first wall surface 21b that forms group 1 arranged opposite the second wall surface 22b, and the first floor surface 21a that forms the below of group 1, and controls the third lighting device 13 and the fifth lighting device 15 so that the control for illuminating the low area 2L and the control for illuminating the below of group 1 are substantially identical. This is a lighting control system according to Technology 1 or 2.
[0107] With this, when a user relaxing in the low area 2L of group 2 looks at group 1 with their eyes in the horizontal direction, the area below group 1, which is at the same height as the user's eyes, comes into view, providing a lighting effect that helps the user relax. Also, lighting effect can be provided that helps users working in group 1 to concentrate on their work.
[0108] Furthermore, in the lighting control system 1 of Technology 4 in this embodiment, a desk 19 or a workbench is placed in the work space, and the first lighting device 11 is a lighting control system described in any one of Technology 1 to 3 that can provide task lighting for the top of the desk 19 or the top of the workbench.
[0109] This allows the top of the desk 19 or the top of the work table to be illuminated, providing a lighting effect that makes it easier for users working in group 1 to concentrate on their work.
[0110] Furthermore, the lighting control system 1 of technique 5 in this embodiment further includes a fifth lighting device 15 that illuminates at least one of a first lower wall surface 21b2 below the first wall surface 21b that forms group 1 and is arranged to face the second wall surface 22b, and a first floor surface 21a that forms below group 1, and has a low area 1L below group 1, a high area 1H above group 1, and a middle area 1M between the low area 1L and the high area 1H, and the first lighting device 11 is capable of illuminating the middle area 1M, and the lighting control system 1 of technique 5 .... is formed by at least a first wall surface 21b and a third wall surface 121, group 2 is formed by at least a second wall surface 22b and a fourth wall surface 122, the third wall surface 121 and the fourth wall surface 122 form a continuous wall surface, and the control unit 20 controls at least one of the first lighting device 11 and the fifth lighting device 15 so that at least one of the illuminance and the color temperature of the third lower wall surface 121b below the third wall surface 121 corresponding to the low area 1L is lower than that of the middle area 1M.
[0111] According to this, when a user relaxing in group 2 looks at group 1 with their eyes horizontally, the area below group 1, which is at the same height as the user's eyes, comes into view, providing a lighting effect that helps the user relax. Also, a lighting effect can be provided that helps the user working in group 1 to concentrate on their work. In this way, it is possible to achieve both a lighting effect that helps group 1 to concentrate on their work and a lighting effect that helps group 2 to relax in one space 2.
[0112] Furthermore, the lighting control system 1 of Technology 6 in this embodiment has a low area 1L below group 1, a high area 1H above group 1, and a middle area 1M between the low area 1L and the high area 1H, the first lighting device 11 is capable of illuminating the middle area 1M, the group 1 is formed by at least a first wall surface 21b and a third wall surface 121, the group 2 is formed by at least a second wall surface 22b and a fourth wall surface 122, the third wall surface 121 and the fourth wall surface 122 form a continuous wall surface, and the control unit 20 controls at least one of the second lighting device 12 and the first lighting device 11 so that at least one of the illuminance and the color temperature of the third upper wall surface 121a above the third wall surface 121 corresponding to the high area 1H is lower than that of the middle area 1M.
[0113] With this, when a user relaxing in group 2 looks at group 1, the high area 1H at eye level comes into view, allowing the user to relax. Also, lighting can be provided to help the user working in group 1 concentrate on their work.
[0114] Furthermore, the lighting control system 1 of the seventh aspect of the present embodiment includes a fourth lighting device 14 that illuminates at least one of the second ceiling surface 22c and the second wall surface 22b of the high area 2H above the group 2, a low area 2L below the group 2, a high area 2H above the group 2, and a middle area 2M between the low area 2L and the high area 2H, and the third lighting device 13 can illuminate the low area 2L. The group 1 is illuminated by at least the first wall surface 21b and the third wall surface 22b. a fourth wall surface 122a above the high zone 2H corresponding to the fourth wall surface 122; a fourth upper wall surface 122a above the fourth wall surface 122 corresponding to the high zone 2H; and a fourth upper wall surface 122a above the fourth wall surface 122 corresponding to the high zone 2H.
[0115] With this, when a user working in group 1 looks above group 2, the high area 2H comes into view, providing lighting effects that allow the user to concentrate on their work.
[0116] Furthermore, when a user relaxing in group 2 looks at group 1, one or more of the second lighting device 12, the first upper wall surface 21b1, and the first ceiling surface 21c, which are lit at the second illuminance and second color temperature at eye level, come into view, thereby creating a lighting effect that helps the user to relax.
[0117] Furthermore, the lighting control system 1 of technology 8 in this embodiment has a low area 1L below group 1, a high area 1H above group 1, and a middle area 1M between the low area 1L and the high area 1H, the first lighting device 11 is capable of illuminating the middle area 1M, a first upper wall surface 21b1 above the first wall surface 21b forming group 1 forms the high area 1H arranged to face the second wall surface 22b forming group 2, and the control unit 20 controls at least one of the first lighting device 11 and the second lighting device 12 so that the first upper wall surface 21b1 has at least one of an illuminance and a color temperature lower than that of the middle area 1M.
[0118] This allows for lighting effects that make it easier for users working in group 1 to concentrate on their work.
[0119] Furthermore, when a user relaxing in group 2 looks at group 1, one or more of the second lighting device 12 and the first upper wall surface 21b1, which are lit at the second illuminance and second color temperature at eye level, come into view, creating a lighting effect that helps the user relax.
[0120] Furthermore, the lighting control system 1 of Technology 9 in this embodiment is a lighting control system described in any one of Technologies 1 to 8, which includes a sixth lighting device 16 that can illuminate only the top of the desk 19 or the top of the workbench arranged in Group 1, and the sixth lighting device 16 is a pendant light, a spotlight, a downlight, or a desk light arranged on the top of the desk 19 or the top of the workbench.
[0121] This allows for lighting effects that make it easier for users working in group 1 to concentrate on their work.
[0122] In addition, in the lighting control system 1 of technology 10 in this embodiment, a seventh lighting device 17 having a light-emitting unit 17a capable of illuminating the space 2 is arranged in group 2, and the light-emitting unit 17a is arranged in the low area 2L. This is a lighting control system described in any one of technologies 1 to 9.
[0123] According to this, since the gaze position of users relaxing in group 2 is considered to be in low area 2L, by placing the light-emitting unit 17a in low area 2L, it is possible to create a lighting effect that allows users to relax.
[0124] Furthermore, the lighting control method of technique 11 in this embodiment is a lighting control method for simultaneously performing different lighting effects in one space 2 including two adjacent areas, group 1 and group 2, in which a first lighting device 11 illuminates a work space provided in group 1, a second lighting device 12 illuminates at least one of a first upper wall surface 21b1 above a first wall surface 21b forming group 1 and arranged so as to face a second wall surface 22b forming group 2, and a first ceiling surface 21c present above group 1, and The third lighting device 13 illuminates at least one of the second floor surface 22a and the second wall surface 22b of the low area 2L below the group 2; the control unit 20 controls at least one of the first lighting device 11 and the third lighting device 13 so that at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the low area 2L is lower than at least one of the illuminance and color temperature of the work space; and the control unit 20 controls the second lighting device 12 and the third lighting device 13 so that the control for illuminating above the group 1 and the control for illuminating the low area 2L are substantially the same.
