Description

[0001] LED module for forming a lamp

[0002] Description

[0003] The invention relates to the field of lighting engineering, in particular, to the design of a LED luminaire module that can be connected to other modules to form a luminaire.

[0004] The closest solution to the proposed design of the LED module can be considered the module according to the Russian Federation patent for invention 2689301 dated 05 / 27 / 2019. According to the patent, the lamp module contains one LED and two holes with bolts for connection to the contact network of the lamp, grooves are made in the bolts for installing conductive elements in the form of wire.

[0005] The proposed version of the LED module, due to the use of a printed circuit board with one LED and a wire for connecting the modules, has such disadvantages as a lower specific luminous flux and lower rigidity of the structure. Formation of some configurations of the lamp is also impossible. The use of non-metallic printed circuit boards has a negative effect on the service life of the LEDs.

[0006] The technical results of the proposed solution are a longer service life of the module's LEDs when using metal printed circuit boards with better heat dissipation from the LEDs compared to textolite, a higher luminous flux with smaller dimensions of the lamp, greater rigidity of the structure, which allows producing lamps for various purposes - floor, table, wall, ceiling, at the same time without losing the ability to form lamps of various configurations with different directional patterns of the luminous flux, simplification of the assembly of the lamp from LED modules.

[0007] In order to achieve the stated technical results, in a LED module for forming a luminaire, containing a printed circuit board with LEDs and two or more openings with conductive paths around them and along the printed circuit board, connections with other LED modules are provided, including multiple connections, by means of connecting elements.

[0008] The use of modules with a number of LEDs and holes allows the creation of luminaire designs with ordered regular structures of LEDs with a high density of LEDs in the luminaire. The use of various connecting elements also allows the formation of different luminaire configurations.

[0009] The invention is illustrated by drawings, which show: Fig. 1, Fig. 2 - a LED module for forming a lamp; Fig. 3 - a fragment of connections of LED modules by means of connecting elements;

[0010] SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) Fig. 4, Fig. 5, Fig. 6 - LED modules on metal printed circuit boards with electrical insulating elements; Fig. 7 - a variant of forming a luminaire from a ring-shaped LED module and linear modules; Fig. 8 - a fragment of an LED module with a connecting element made of metal wire with threaded connectors installed on its ends; Fig. 9 - a fragment of an LED module with a connecting element made of a metal profile.

[0011] The design of the proposed LED module is shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 2. The module contains a printed circuit board 1 with LEDs 2, holes 3 with conductive tracks around them 4 for installing connecting elements 5 and conductive tracks along the printed circuit board 6.

[0012] Thus, the LEDs 2 on the printed circuit board 1 of the module are connected by means of conductive tracks 4, 6 with connecting elements 5, some of which are directly connected to the poles of the voltage or current source. When the voltage or current source is switched on, the electric current is distributed across the printed circuit boards 1 by means of conductive tracks 4, 6 and connecting elements 5 and ensures the glow of the LEDs 2.

[0013] The printed circuit boards of the modules are connected by means of connecting elements that provide electrical and mechanical connections between the modules and with the poles of the voltage or current source. The connections between the modules can be multiple, i.e. each printed circuit board can be connected to one or more printed circuit boards, which allows for the formation of rigid spatial structures of luminaires with a high density of LED arrangement.

[0014] Fig. 3 shows a fragment of the connections of the LED modules by means of connecting elements. The printed circuit boards 1 of the modules are connected to each other taking into account the polarity of the voltage or current present on the connecting elements 5, and, consequently, on the conductive tracks 4 around the openings 3, respectively, the positive pole of the voltage or current source is connected to the anodes of the LEDs 2, the negative pole - to the cathodes of the LEDs 2. For ease of assembly, the openings 3 on the printed circuit board of the module have polarity designations in accordance with the configuration of the conductive tracks.

[0015] Fig. 4 shows a LED module on a metal printed circuit board with an insulating element 7, allowing the use of connecting elements with this type of printed circuit boards. Fig. 5 shows a LED module on two metal printed circuit boards with an insulating element 8, allowing the use of connecting elements with this type of printed circuit boards.

[0016] Fig. 7 shows a variant of forming a lamp from LED modules in the form of a ring 9 and linear modules, the internal cutout in the form of a circle, formed during the production of a printed circuit board in the form of a ring, is used in the production of the housing 10 of the lamp, which makes it possible to reduce the waste of materials during the production of such printed circuit boards and to achieve a uniform style in the design of the lamp.

[0017] Fig. 7 schematically shows a voltage or current source 11 with wires 12, which is connected to the conductive tracks of the printed circuit boards of the modules via connecting elements 5. Not all LEDs and holes are shown on the ring-shaped printed circuit board, and the conductive tracks are not shown for simplicity.

[0018] Fig. 8 shows a fragment of a LED module with a connecting element made of metal wire 13 with threaded connectors 14 installed at its ends. The connecting element in the form of a wire allows for setting different angles between modules in the design of the lamp.

[0019] Fig. 9 shows a fragment of a LED module with a connecting element made of a metal profile 15, which allows for a right angle between the modules in the design of the lamp.
