In addition to the above, the electric vehicle may include one or more heat generating components, such as, but not limited to, a battery unit, a control unit, a motor, and any electronic or electric device accommodated therein. The battery unit may generate heat during charging and operation of the vehicle.

[0003] Generally, the heat generating components are positioned in close vicinity to each other, and interfaced together for operation of the vehicle. For instance, the motor and / or a control unit are interfaced with the battery unit and may be positioned rearward of the battery unit. Further, the heat generating components, such as, but not limited to, the battery unit, the motor, a control unit and other surrounding components, and at least a portion of the body frame, may be covered by a body fairing of the vehicle. Such positioning aspects of the heat generating component, and the body fairing covering them may not provide sufficient ventilation for cooling of the heat generating components. Accordingly, there exists a requirement for a cooling arrangement that overcomes the problems associated with cooling of heat generating components, and other ventilation problems associated therewith.

Claims
We Claim:
1. A two wheeled vehicle (100), comprising: a body frame (1); a battery unit (2) mounted on the body frame (1); one or more heat generating components (3) positioned rearward of the battery unit (2); a body fairing (8) coupled to the body frame (1), the body fairing (8) comprising: one or more channels (9) defined on an inner side (10) of the body fairing (8), the one or more channels (9) configured to define an air flow path; and a cooling device (4) connected to the one or more channels (9), and the cooling device (4) being positioned upward of the one or more heat generating components (3), to direct air towards the one or more heat generating components (3).
2. The two wheeled vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more channels (9) comprise: an inlet (11) provided at a frontal portion (12) of the one or more channels (9), to route air into the air flow path; and an outlet (13) provided at a posterior portion (14) of the one or more channels (9), to convey air received through the air flow path.
3. The two wheeled vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the cooling device (4) being coupled to the battery unit (2) and connected to the outlet (13) of the one or more channels (9).
4. The two wheeled vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the one or more heat generating components (3) being configured to derive power from the battery unit (2), and wherein the one or more heat generating components (3) is at least one of a drive unit (3), and a drive unit controller (20).
5. The two wheeled vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the outlet (13) of the one or more channels (9) is positioned in a substantially perpendicular orientation relative to the inlet (11) of the one or more channels (9).
6. The two wheeled vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cooling device (4) comprises: an air duct (5) configured to route air towards the one or more heat generating components (3), for forced convection; one or more first openings (6a, 6b) defined at a proximal end of the air duct (5); and at least one second opening (7) defined at a distal end of the air duct (5), the at least one second opening (7) being positioned upward of the one or more heat generating components (3), to direct air towards the one or more heat generating components (3).
7. The two wheeled vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the outlet (13) of the one or more channels (9) is connected to the one or more first openings (6a, 6b) of the cooling device (4), to direct air towards the at least one second opening (7).
8. The two wheeled vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the air duct (5) is a substantially T-shaped air duct, and wherein the one or more first openings (6a, 6b) are positioned in a substantially perpendicular orientation relative to the at least one second opening (7).
9. The two wheeled vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the air duct (5) comprises: a first section (15) including the one or more first openings (6a, 6b); anda second section (16) including the at least one second opening (7), wherein the second section (16) being configured to be substantially perpendicular to the first section (15), to define a substantially L-shaped air duct (5).

The two wheeled vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 9, wherein the first section (15) of the cooling device (4) being mounted on an upper surface (17) of the battery unit (2), the first section (15) being positioned in a substantially horizontal orientation relative to the lengthwise direction (19) of the vehicle (100).
11. The two wheeled vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 3, wherein the cooling device (4) being coupled to a rear surface (18) of the battery unit (2), and wherein the cooling device (4) being positioned in a substantially vertical orientation relative to the lengthwise direction (19) of the vehicle (100).
12. The two wheeled vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more channels (9) comprise: a first channel (9a) including a first entrance (9b) and a first air flow path (9c); a second channel (9d) positioned downward of the first channel (9a), the second channel (9d) including a second entrance (9e) and a second air flow path (9f) connected to the first air flow path (9c); an outlet (9g) common to both the first channel (9a) and the second channel (9d), the outlet (9g) configured to convey air received through the first and second air flow paths (9c, 9d).
13. The two wheeled vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the air duct (5) comprises one or more blowers (I la, 11b) disposed within the air duct (5), wherein the one or more blowers (I la, 1 lb) configured to blow air received by the one or more first openings (6a, 6b) towards the at least one second opening (7), for forced convection.
