Abstract

[0001] The present invention relates to a saddle-ride type vehicle.

[0002] Conventionally, there has been known a saddle-ride type vehicle in which a storage body is provided on a leg shield that serves as a windshield for the occupant in front of the seat (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The storage body described in Patent Document 1 includes a storage section that is open on one side, and a lid that opens and closes the open side is rotatably supported on the storage section. In Patent Document 1, an opening that connects to the storage section is provided in the leg shield, and a lid receiving portion that receives the lid is formed around the periphery of the opening. In Patent Document 1, the storage section is attached to the inner surface of the leg shield from the inside, and the lid is installed on the lid receiving portion from the outside of the leg shield. In Patent Document 1, the lid is rotatably supported on the storage section while straddling the leg shield.

Claims

1. A saddle-ride type vehicle including a leg shield (42) that serves as a windshield for an occupant in front of a seat (17), and a storage body (100) provided on the leg shield (42), the storage body (100) having a storage section (110, 120) capable of storing items, and a lid (130) that closes the open surface of the storage section (110, 120) in an openable and closable manner, wherein: the leg shield (42) is formed with an attachment opening (42a) to which the storage body (100) is attached, the attachment opening (42a) is formed to be slightly larger than the outer periphery of the lid (130), the storage section (110, 120) is formed with a lid receiving surface (127) that receives the lid (130), the lid (130) is supported on the storage section (110, 120) in an openable and closable manner, a saddle-ride type vehicle, characterized in that, in a state in which the storage section (110, 120) and the lid (130) are assembled into a unit, the storage body (100) is fixed to an inner surface of the leg shield (42) from the inside of the leg shield (42).

The saddle-type vehicle according to claim 1, characterized in that the storage section (110, 120) is composed of two parts consisting of a main box section (110) and a sub-box section (120), the main box section (110) is box-shaped with one side open, the sub-box section (120) is three-dimensional with openings (120a, 126a) formed on two opposing sides, and the lid (130) is supported by the sub-box section (120) in a swingable manner.

3. The saddle-type vehicle according to claim 2, characterized in that one of the openings (126a) closed by the lid (130) of the sub-box portion (120) is smaller than the other opening (120a) connected to the main box portion (110).

The saddle-ride type vehicle according to claim 3, characterized in that, when the storage body (100) is mounted on the vehicle, the main box section (110) and the sub-box section (120) are assembled in the fore-and-aft direction, one of the openings (126a) of the sub-box section (120) is positioned upward, and the storage space (S) formed by the storage body (100) extends downward beyond one of the openings (126a).

A saddle-type vehicle as set forth in any one of claims 2 to 4, characterized in that the sub-box portion (120) is formed with a lid support portion (128) that swingably supports the lid (130) via a hinge shaft (142), and the left-right width of the lid support portion (128) is smaller than the left-right width of the lid (130).

6. A saddle-type vehicle as described in claim 5, characterized in that the storage space (S) formed by the storage body (100) is formed to be larger than at least the left-right width of the lid (130), and the left-right width of the sub-box portion (120) is larger than the left-right width of the lid (130).

7. A saddle-ride type vehicle according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the storage body (100) has a vertical width greater than a lateral width.

8. A saddle-type vehicle as set forth in any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the lid (130) has an outer surface (132) and an inner surface (131) formed as separate parts, an opening (131e) is provided in the inner surface (131), and a lid storage space (S3) is formed by the outer surface (132) and the inner surface (131).
